The notes are made up. I agree with Isa Ramírez: it smells like Pure XS, with that nutty touch reminiscent of popcorn from that fragrance. There’s something about it that just doesn’t sit right with me 🌿. I prefer the Paco Rabanne one; it feels intense, and the term ‘Elixir’ fits well. I don’t detect the neroli from Interdit; I don’t understand those ratings.

  • It carries a very heavy grey amber; on my skin, it smells animalic with zero floral notes. Since it has ambroxan, it gives me nausea with every perfume that contains it, and this wasn’t an exception. I own so many that I’m actually relieved when one doesn’t work for me 😅

  • Perfumiris

It sounds weird to me, neither fruity nor floral. The only thing that stands out is that it lasts forever; it smells like pink peppercorn, citrus, and a bit mossy. It contains belladonna, the one they used for poisoning (even Cleopatra considered taking it to commit suicide) and later in cosmetics to irritate the skin like blush or dilate the pupil. In short, call me stupid, but it gives me the creeps and I strongly suspect undeclared ambroxan, somewhat citrusy and salty. I understand they compare it to Paradoxe Intense, but it’s not the same; I like the other one more, and the scents feel redundant.

It’s rare; neither fruity nor floral. Its extreme longevity is worth noting; there’s a pink pepper-citrus note that’s slightly mossy. It contains belladonna, which was used in antiquity as a poison—even Cleopatra considered using it for suicide by testing it on a slave to check its speed. Later, it was used in cosmetics to irritate the skin as a blush and in the eyes to dilate pupils to look more beautiful. To sum up, call me stupid, but all this gives me the creeps, and I also detect a lot of undeclared ambroxan, a medium salty-citrus vibe. I understand why people compare it to Paradoxe Intense, though it’s not the same. I prefer the latter, but the scents feel redundant.

  • Sexy, intense, and nocturnal perfume 👠 It’s a sweet fruity scent, but not innocent; it’s super enveloping and sensual, perfect for dates, evening events, and occasions where you want to feel like a ‘She-Wolf’ and hypnotize everyone with your aroma ❤️🔥 On the dry-down, there’s a floral note, probably belladonna. This perfume gives me vibes of Ariana Grande’s ‘Dangerous Woman’ song; the scent goes in that direction 😉 Regarding the comparison with Pure XS, it might resemble the original version when it first launched, but I have a reformulated version that doesn’t resemble it at all. If you like sweet and intense perfumes, give it a try; the longevity is also very good 👏

  • The first spray reminded me of Cacharel’s Amor Amor. Within minutes, it felt like biting into a freshly perfumed cherry lollipop, reminiscent of L’Interdit Rouge Ultimate. However, one of my favorite winter night scents is Pure XS. It was inevitable to find similarities between them given the shared notes. Boss The Scent Elixir For Her and Paco Rabanne’s Pure XS share: vanilla, musk, patchouli, jasmine, orange blossom, rose, orchid, tonka, sandalwood, amber, almonds, bergamot, pear, praline, caramel, honey, and coconut. So, what are the differences? The Scent Elixir features dark chocolate, coffee, mandarin, and gardenia, while Pure XS has ylang-ylang, amberwood, peach, and cedar. The Scent Elixir has dark chocolate and gardenia but lacks the neroli found in Interdit Rouge Ultimate. A delight whichever you choose. Gardenia is also present in Scandal and Crystal Noir. On the same praline and caramel line as The Scent Elixir and Pure XS, we have Tous Emerald (the green one). If you like The Scent Elixir, you might also enjoy other coffee-based scents like The Only One, Intense Café, Black Opium Over Red, Good Girl, and La Nuit Tresor.

  • This scent overwhelms me… it saturates me to the point of no return. Just one spray is detectable from yards away :S It might work better in colder climates, but I perceive it so intensely and constantly that it’s overwhelming. Definitely not for my nose, though that doesn’t mean it’s a bad perfume. On the contrary.

  • This scent kills me, it’s overwhelming after just one spray and noticeable from miles away :S Maybe it would work better in winter, but here it’s so overpowering that it just doesn’t suit me. Definitely not for my nose, though I admit it’s not a bad perfume; quite the opposite.

  • TaeInBloom

Beautiful scent; I was certain it carried cherry even though it’s not listed. It starts strong with tart cherry, white flowers, and a sharp jasmine that reminds me of cherry-almond blends. It’s a bit nose-tingling, probably from the pepper. Then the acidity fades, giving way to sweetness from ambroxan, tonka bean, vanilla, woods, amber, and maybe a touch of patchouli. At the end, the ambroxan mellows into a warm, fruity-ambery finish. I see this as an autumn-winter scent—sexy, elegant, and perfect for night. It reminded me of something I’ve tried before: the cherry note immediately took me back to Avon’s Far Away Beyond the Moon, even when mixed with the female version of Attraction Desire. Anyone who’s tried those will understand.

Beautiful scent. I was sure it had cherry, but it’s not listed. It has a strong opening of tart cherry with white flowers, a sharp jasmine, and even reminds me of cherry and almond blends. It also feels slightly spicy on the nose, probably the pepper. Then that acidity fades, and a sweetness emerges, leading to a mix of cherry with ambroxan, tonka bean, vanilla, woods, amber, and perhaps a touch of patchouli. In the final dry down, the ambroxan dissipates, leaving a warm sensation that is both fruity and ambered. I see this for autumn-winter; it’s sexy, elegant, and nocturnal. It reminded me of something I’d already tried: the cherry note immediately brought me to Far Away Beyond the Moon by Avon, even mixed with the female Attraction Desire. Anyone who has tried those will understand.
