  • I adore this perfume. It’s a soft floral/fruity scent. The first time I tested it on my skin, I felt it was a super sexy aroma; it’s very fine, elegant, and extremely feminine, not intrusive at all, but noticeable. On my skin, it doesn’t smell synthetic, nor does it smell too much like peach or alcohol (as some have commented). I suppose every skin reacts differently. So, at least with this perfume, I’ve been very lucky. Until today, it’s my number one fragrance, and despite new releases, none have dethroned it so far. For those curious, I encourage you to test it on your skin to see how it suits you. In my case, I put it on and fell in love with it.

Ideal perfume for spring-summer and any age. In my case, it has about an hour and a half of projection… and lasts about 4 hours, maybe 6 or 7 on clothes, which for my taste and for a perfume, feels a bit short. I see it as a daily perfume, for daytime, for informal occasions or going to work, since it’s a fragrance that doesn’t bother anyone at all. If I had to assign it a character, it would be Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Sattler in Jurassic Park, since I see it as a fresh and dynamic perfume for outdoor situations while giving a woman a certain class, and I think it would suit her perfectly. On my skin, it opens with a citrus-floral top that, although not listed in the notes, I detect as neroli or orange blossom linked with freesia, which is what stands out most along with a light peach; in my case, I barely appreciate the osmanthus and almost nothing of the cocoa. Representing it with an image would be a beautiful bouquet of neroli, orange blossom, and freesia over half a sliced peach. If you like fresh, slightly fruity scents that aren’t intrusive and are light, this would be an example of that.

  • I simply love it! I really like fruity perfumes, and in this one, the peach scent is delicious but not too sweet. I feel it’s perfect.

  • I tested it at the perfumerie and couldn’t stop smelling my wrist all afternoon; be careful with that peach mixed with osmanthus and the cocoa base, which is quite addictive. I need it!

When I tested this perfume, it seemed delicious, sweet, soft, and fresh; feminine, subtle, and youthful—it was exactly what I was looking for. I’m a fan of floral scents, in love with Perry Ellis 360 and La Vie Est Bella by Lancôme, but since they are too elegant and better suited for women over 40, I prefer not to wear them. Having found freshness, sweetness, and femininity in Omnia Coral by Bvlgary, and wanting something similar but less woody and more casual, I picked up The Scent without a second thought. I was disappointed when I applied it: it felt like I’d bathed in peach air freshener, so cloying, artificial, and simple that I hated it. It reminded me of a fruity body splash, annoying and boring, because besides, the scent didn’t evolve. I thought the perfumer had made a mistake and I’d tested the wrong fragrance, but I hadn’t. My conclusion is: after putting it aside for a while and trying it again, applying a small amount allows you to perceive and enjoy the scarce notes in a balanced way. However, that makes it a fragrance with weak sillage and short duration. If applied in larger quantities or over-applied, it acquires that hateful synthetic and cloying aroma, as the cocoa and osmanthus disappear, leaving only the peach and freesia, with the freesia, in my opinion, being the cause of the peach losing its soft, velvety feel and becoming artificial and annoying. For me, it’s too expensive for what it offers: a poor composition (four notes) resulting in short duration and weak sillage, with no personality or character, that doesn’t evolve or surprise, as the only notes that stand out are the freesia and peach, and together they don’t impact because they are exquisite, but because they are cloying. That’s why I wouldn’t buy it again. I think it’s suitable for women aged 20 to 25 who like feminine and delicate fragrances that don’t stand out, allowing them to feel perfumed but discreet.

  • This perfume fascinates me, I love it! It lasts quite a while on my skin. It doesn’t have a strong sillage, but when I’m close to someone, it’s noticeable. I feel it’s great for a casual daytime date; it’s a very wearable, delicious fragrance that doesn’t overpower. It’s just so delicious. I recommend it 100%.

What a disappointment! When I tested it in the store, I loved it and thought it was a fruity gourmand. Then, when I bought it, it felt like a very cheap cologne or aftershave, more floral than fruity. It’s very soft and lasts nothing on my skin (2 hours), only a faint trace on clothes. It has a synthetic smell; I only use it for a light scent that doesn’t draw attention. Too expensive for so little.

  • It’s a delicious fragrance; the peach note is soft and juicy. I’d wear it to a spring or summer event. That said, it doesn’t last too long on my skin, and the sillage is subtle.

  • I just bought it. The scent is delicious, floral, and quintessentially fruity. I really like the freesia note. Unfortunately, it has no sillage, and its longevity on me was only 2 to 3 hours. It’s winter, so maybe it’s not the right season to wear it. I’ll try it again in the summer and hope to update my review.

  • I’ve never tried this fragrance before, and when I did, I loved it so much that I bought it on the spot. The downside is that it doesn’t smell the same on my skin as it did in the tester; with the pandemic, you can’t test scents on your skin in many stores, which was a huge disappointment. It doesn’t last more than 10 or 15 minutes on me. That said, it’s a short-lived scent. After reading reviews, I realized I’m not the only one experiencing this; it seems to fade within minutes of application. It’s so sad because the aroma is wonderful: delicate, feminine, very fruity without being cloying. It would have been a joy if it had lasted longer.

  • This fragrance is very pleasant, feminine, fresh, and sweet without being cloying, with a soft sillage. I love it, however, its major issue is the longevity… at best 3 hours and then it’s gone, both on skin and clothes. I wish it lasted longer. I found it at a great sale so it doesn’t hurt too much to reapply frequently, but I wouldn’t buy it at its original price.

  • I’m surprised I haven’t written about The Scent Private Accord before (I like it more than this one, but it’s equally fleeting), but I’ll start with The Scent. I have a 10 ml travel size that was a gift, which is why it made it into my collection; otherwise, to be honest, I wouldn’t have reviewed it. It’s a pleasant fragrance, nothing more—quite subtle and flat, lacking the life, complexity, and depth I’d prefer. It smells mostly of peach, slightly toned down in sweetness perhaps by the freesia and osmanthus. It gives me more the impression of smelling a body care product than a perfume. Longevity is very disappointing, around 3 hours, with a soft projection. In winter, it’s an aroma for those days when we want to wear something for a while but also want to let our olfactory senses rest. Sometimes I’ve combined it with a peach body cream to boost its intensity a bit. Maybe my experience will improve in spring/summer; I’ll revisit my review then if it does, but in any case, it seems to offer very little for its price. I respect those who like it, but if I had to spend 60 euros on this, I’d be furious. Scent 3.5/10, Longevity 2.5/10, Sillage 3/10, Value/Price 2/10, Versatility 2/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy it again? No.

  • An excellent fragrance with a stunning, sparkling, vibrant, and youthful peach opening that isn’t invasive. A subtle floral base gives it character. Longevity is around 6 hours with low projection, but the first hour is quite perceptible. I researched its poor performance extensively and wanted to test it personally before gifting it, and in my opinion, it doesn’t disappoint as much as I imagined. Ideal for blind gifting. After walking for over 2 hours, the fragrance still emitted charming sparks in its trail. It’s perfect for cool nights, air-conditioned environments, or the office—semi-formal and casual. It can also be used for romantic encounters, dinners with friends, or a jog; it’s quite seductive, probably due to the cocoa notes in the base. Recommended if you find it on sale or if you like soft, seductive fruity fragrances.

  • I really like the scent; it’s fresh and fruity but not cloying. The sillage is very low, though; after an hour, the smell is barely noticeable.

  • I love this perfume. It’s sweet and sensual without being cloying. It’s a shame it has such short longevity. I’ve been looking for something that smells similar and lasts longer, but I haven’t managed to find it.

  • Cosmicgirl

Pretty nice. It hits me with a strong green apple note at first; I know it’s likely peach with some bergamot, but I just smell green apple. As it dries down, the olive note creeps in, blending with the apple and musk to create a scent very, very similar to Garnier’s Fructis shampoo (I’d say among perfumes with that vibe, this is the closest match). But as the previous comment noted, it has that balsamic olive touch that makes it special. I tested it out of boredom and was genuinely surprised—it’s gorgeous. Perfect for spring/summer, a fresh, super-youthful aroma that doesn’t smell like a body mist like many fresh perfumes do. It’s neither too formal nor too simple; it’s just right and works great for daily wear.

  • Alienígena

@ guguis! Rive’s Sweet Woman lasts more than eight hours on me, and it’s supposed to smell almost the same as this. I haven’t compared them side by side, but when I tried the Hugo Boss one in-store, it disappeared in no time, so fast that I couldn’t even form an olfactory memory of the fragrance. Hope this helps!

  • The scent is very rich, but a total disappointment with the longevity and sillage. It doesn’t last more than an hour… it’s on par with a Mist. It’s disappointing that for many years now, the quality of perfumes from almost any brand has been low in these two such important factors. What a shame… they’re not worth the price.

Out of the entire The Scent line, this is the one that didn’t quite win me over. I’m head over heels for their simpler sibling ‘Pure Accord’ and the bold ‘Le Parfum’, but this one leaves me with a ‘meh’. I like it—it’s a rich, fresh peach with freesia and a tiny, barely noticeable cocoa note at the end—but the longevity is a real shame; it’s pretty weak. When I wear it, I carry a travel atomizer to reapply because otherwise, it lasts maybe three or four hours at most, and on clothes, it doesn’t even make it to three. It’s a pity because, for example, The Scent Le Parfum is an absolute bomb; it lasts 8 to 12 hours on my skin, and I’ve even caught the scent on my clothes the next day, yet it’s true that they’re as different as an egg and a hamster, meaning nothing in common… As for Pure Accord, it’s been my companion all spring and summer, and I’ve been very happy with it—about 5 hours on skin with a low sillage, but it performs much better than this one. In conclusion, out of the whole line, it’s probably the least interesting.

  • Ojos Claros

It smells like ‘Mom made me a Nesquick,’ but with just one spoonful, not two. It’s like Mom wearing a classic feminine perfume while staying by your side as you have a snack, and you catch the scent of both… The opening is strong and gives way to a soft, tranquil, and loving perfume. For now, it’s not my favorite. Maybe it’s one of those you learn to love over time…

  • Delicious, delicious. For me, it lasts about 6 hours or more, but its sillage is soft.💞

  • The fragrance is very feminine; I felt more pear in the opening than peach and was convinced it was that. It’s a soft fragrance with a medium-intensity opening that loses strength over the minutes until it stays close to you without invading your space or announcing its arrival. I think it’s a perfect perfume for a discreet and feminine woman; I believe it would be fantastic for a daytime first date in an informal, outdoor setting. The only thing I don’t like is that despite being an Eau de Parfum, this fragrance stays right on the skin. I was really expecting more projection from Hugo Boss. Scent: 10/10 Projection: 4/10 Longevity: 4/10

  • I really let the notes sway me and, believing the good comments about this perfume, I wanted to give it a chance, but what a huge disappointment upon application. Its rich opening made me think it would be a great perfume, but after 30 minutes, I couldn’t perceive it at all. I thought maybe I had just sprayed too little, but that wasn’t the case; I reapplied with more sprays, and still, the scent was only perceptible for about an hour. On clothes, it lasted a bit longer, but it was a perfume no one could smell. I’m a lover of rich scents; this time, even my husband was amazed that I hadn’t bathed in perfume. What a huge disappointment I felt knowing I’d wasted my money. In my personal opinion, don’t buy it; there are other perfumes with better projection and sillage for a lower price. I’d like to believe it’s the climate in my city, since it hits 40°C in summer; I’ll give it a try in another climate and let you know.

  • It’s a delightful fragrance for everyday use, truly exquisite, but it doesn’t last; after just a couple of minutes, the composition of its notes disappears.

  • AlineTan_val

It’s a very soft fragrance; on my skin, it lasts a maximum of 3 or 4 hours. My taste leans toward soft perfumes, not loud or cloying, so I wore it daily until it ran out; maybe I’ll buy it again later. I rate it as an everyday scent, simple, with a soft aroma.

  • ari_sweetperfumes

What definitely stands out is the peach/nectarine, which feels soft and rich, though not exactly a natural peach (maybe that’s why some say it smells synthetic); I sense something that makes it sweet but not heavy, possibly the freesia. I can’t smell the cocoa note at all. It lasts me about 4 hours and I like it quite a bit, but I think the price doesn’t match the longevity or projection, which seems to be the main complaint. Despite that, it’s a fruity, youthful, pleasant fragrance I consider suitable for all year, any occasion, with simple notes that make it exquisite, light, and wearable.

  • Perfumadict

A fragrance with a soft, sweet peach aroma—velvety yet juicy at the same time. It felt similar to Escada’s Taj Sunset, but fruitier rather than tropical. A great everyday pick-me-up for hot days.

  • solsegovia

I had it once and bought it again!!! Fresh, beautiful. I love it; it feels like a versatile scent that always works. It’s soft but rich. I recommend it for daytime and summer.

  • Lady Wallis

I bought it last year blind for two reasons: the notes really caught my attention, and it was a steal at under €20 for 50ml. But it wasn’t what I expected… it doesn’t smell bad at all, but for some reason, I barely noticed any scent, more like a subtle body mist. Now that I’m reading your fantastic reviews, I wonder if maybe it was just expired, which would explain the price? Maybe… Obviously, the longevity and projection are non-existent for me… well, I might give it another shot later, but honestly, I’m not too keen on it right now.

  • nataliedrm

What a beautiful perfume. It reminds me of the ones from my childhood and teenage years: soft, velvety, and fresh peach, combined with freesia for a sweet and elegant touch. Perfect for warm days, family dinners, or shopping. I was pleasantly surprised by the longevity, which is rare for Hugo Boss these days. A great option for a gift or a blind buy, ideal for young girls. Boss The Scent For Her is so cute.

  • catalina_bx

It’s very pretty, delicate, and soft. Too bad it doesn’t last long and doesn’t draw much attention.

  • I love it and it was a surprise; I never imagined it would smell like this. The more I use it, the more I like it. Soft, between fruity and floral, very versatile for any season or occasion.

  • I wanted to try it because of the reviews and I loved it. It’s not my absolute favorite, but I’d definitely wear it casually sometime.

  • My first review here. I’m just discovering the world of perfumes and I have a real emotional connection to this one. I’m a guy and it drives me crazy; I can’t figure out what it is, but I can’t stop leaning in to smell it. I absolutely love it.

  • I tried it and liked it quite a bit. Sweet in just the right amount for daytime, with apricot present but not overpowering. It doesn’t last long on my skin, but I’d wear it daily without issues, especially at work since it’s not intrusive.

  • I loved it on my skin: sweet, with a strong apricot note, soft and not at all overwhelming. Perfect for daytime, though the trail is weak and lasts about 4-5 hours. Totally casual.

  • Velvety floral opening that gives way to a juicy yellow peach. The cocoa only shows up at the end. It doesn’t last long, but the trail is powerful in the first few hours.

  • Wlad Molina

Juicy yet elegant peach with a touch of osmanthus that makes it sensual. Perfect for spring and summer, subtle enough for the office. The cocoa appears subtly, adding warmth without being gourmand. An intimate and delicious dry down. 9/10: unique and underrated.
