  • I loved it a ton. It smells like a dark chocolate dessert with hazelnut cream. If you’re a fan of gourmand scents, you’ll adore this fragrance. The only flaw is that the sillage is very poor and the longevity is terrible.

  • I really liked it. It smells like dark chocolate dessert with hazelnut cream. If you’re a gourmand lover, you’ll adore it. The only downside is that it has very poor longevity and a somewhat weak sillage.

I bought it for the essence, but I regretted thinking it would smell like pure chocolate. The truth is, it’s an aroma that goes beyond that; on my skin, it smells delicious and intoxicating.

I was dying to try this, and wow, I’m absolutely in love—it’s a delight. It’s juicy, sweet, and fruity; that blend of tangerine and chocolate is so real it makes my mouth water. Wearing it makes me feel irresistible, youthful, and flirty, like ‘come eat me.’ The only downside is that on my skin it doesn’t last past three hours, which is a shame, and the bottle is too big for my bag, but it’s still a treat.

I was dying to try this and it has completely won me over; it’s simply delicious. Juicy, sweet, and fruity, the tangerine and chocolate mix is so real it makes my mouth water. Wearing it makes you feel irresistible, youthful, and flirty, like you’re about to be eaten. However, on my skin it doesn’t last more than three hours, which is a pity, and the bottle is a bit big for a purse, but it’s a treat.

  • I like it; it’s sweet and smells like chocolate but isn’t cloying. On my skin, the olive note really pops, which is a shame because it gives the scent a totally different character than the initial aroma. I’d recommend it if you don’t have that issue.

  • Very pleasant, sweet but not overpowering. I tried Scandal before and it almost gave me a brain freeze; that kind of sweetness overwhelms me. This one is wearable, very feminine, but not trying to be the center of attention. It’s very special, perfect for winter, and I need it in my collection.

  • DulceInvierno

I just picked this up and I’m obsessed. The cocoa, tonka bean, and tangerine create a sensual bomb, perfect for going out at night or in winter. I literally want to eat my hand because it smells so good. I wish it lasted longer, but it’s staying in my collection. A 100% seductive perfume.

I just picked up this little gem and I absolutely loved it. The cocoa, tonka bean, and tangerine create a sensual bomb, ideal for going out at night or in winter. I already want to eat my arm off from how good it smells. I wish it lasted longer, but it’s staying in my collection. 100% seductive perfume.

  • This fragrance is gorgeous. I love bold sweet scents, and this is an absolute oasis for my nose. The balance is perfect; right out of the bottle, it smells like all the Fragrantica notes blended beautifully. It projects for an hour without being overwhelming and lasts about five hours on my skin.

  • I went to the perfumerie to buy a fragrance I already wanted to get because I couldn’t go out. They applied test strips on my arm, and I thought about hesitating since I already have many. I got to work, and passing within 4 meters of a colleague, he didn’t even look up until minutes later he came to ask me what perfume I was wearing. This has never happened to me; I made him smell both arms, and he immediately identified the scent, smiling. The next day, I was already buying it. Just as I can’t live without coffee and a couple of chocolates, I can’t live without this either, without being overwhelming, mixed with sweet mandarin in a soft osmanthus oil that nobly blends with tonka bean to create a sexy addiction.

  • So rich, so rich, a delight, sweet without being cloying (watch out for heat, it might become heavy). The only downside to this exquisite scent is its longevity 🙁

  • Chocolate and mandarin. Authentic delight. My favorite gourmand without a doubt. One of my ever perfumes. Very chocolatey, but elegant and sexy. It’s a treat, a real pleasure to wear. A small big problem? Longevity is a bust. It lasts little and the sillage isn’t crazy either. Still, it has such a special, unique, and rich scent that I couldn’t resist. It makes up for the smell (large format to reapply without fear). I adore it, it drives me crazy for real.

  • Maru Maru

An edible richness: sweet but not cloying, mandarin wrapped in cocoa and coffee… perfect for winter or autumn nights and days. I don’t have this scent in my collection; it’s also sensual. The longevity isn’t great, about 4 hours, and then it becomes very subtle. But the scent is so rich that I have no regrets. It’s worth it.

I bought it blind and loved it from the start. Rich aroma, sweet but not overwhelming, with little sillage. It lasted 4 hours, but since I got it at a good price, I’m not bothered by reapplying it. I was worried about the olive note, but I didn’t notice it at all; on my skin, it’s very chocolatey and exquisite. My boyfriend also liked it a lot. It would be perfect if it had better longevity.

  • I was scared at first spray, thinking it smelled like too much chocolate and a body mist, but the notes combined quickly. The mandarin brings order, and they mix perfectly. Then comes the coffee, and the tonka bean adds class and distinction. It’s delicious. Sweet but not annoying; it smells like chocolate but not childish; the mandarin balances it with its citrus touch. Very tasty.

  • One of my top gourmands. After years of doubting its longevity (about 4 hours on my skin), I finally bought it, and every time I test it, I go crazy—I can’t stop smelling myself. Now that it’s hard to find, I couldn’t leave it out of my collection. At first, it’s a chocolate and orange bomb; yes, it’s sweet, but it doesn’t cross the line thanks to the acidic citrus touch and because the chocolate smells like dark, not milk. As it dries down, the mandarin fades in intensity without disappearing, leaving a warm, seductive blend of cocoa and tonka bean. Perfect for cold weather, all day, and any occasion. My partner loves it. In short: a delight. If you like gourmands, try it. I wish it lasted longer; it would be perfect, but the scent is so special that I’m already thinking about finding a refill.

  • Andrea perfumona

It starts with cocoa and mandarin, but they fade quickly, giving way to coffee, which dominates on my skin along with the floral osmanthus; the tonka bean and cocoa accompany them timidly. It’s a ‘good girl’ fragrance from CH, not exactly the same, but it reminds me of it so much that I feel I already own one and that’s enough, since they offer the same thing. Lasts 5 hours on skin. It wasn’t what I expected (I was thinking candied orange skin with dark chocolate and grain coffee), but I’ve fallen in love with it. Edit: It has me crazy, it’s delicious, and well, it’s also ‘good girl’ because over time I notice there are dynamic fragrances that change depending on the weather.

  • A beautiful and minimalist gourmand, crafted with care like the first The Scent. On paper, it smells like chocolate or a simple orange candy, but it’s not. On my skin, the notes have a gorgeous cohesion. Private Accord smells like a chocolate tin, coffee beans, and mandarin peel, softened by osmanthus and fused with tonka bean, which gives it depth. In my experience, it smells the same from start to finish (it doesn’t change over time) and lasts about 6-7 hours. Ideal for feeling wrapped in warmth, feminine, and cheerful in the cold. I recommend it if you like ‘simple’ but well-cohesioned perfumes.

  • One of my favorite gourmands. After years, I finally decided to buy it. I hesitated because of the longevity (about 4 hours on skin), but every time I tried it, I was blown away and couldn’t stop smelling myself. Now that it’s harder to find, I couldn’t resist getting it. At first, it’s a tangerine and chocolate bonbon. Yes, it’s sweet, but not excessively so, thanks to the citric acid and because the chocolate smells quite dark. As it dries down, the tangerine fades but doesn’t disappear, leaving a warm and enveloping combination of cocoa and tonka bean. Perfect for cold weather, any time of day, and any occasion. My partner loves it. A delight. If you like gourmands, try it. I wish the performance were better; it would be outstanding, but the scent is so special that I’m not ruling out buying a refill.

  • Incredibly refined. I’m not great with notes, but to me, it’s a tangerine bonbon, nothing like that cheap supermarket kid’s cologne. It’s a super fine perfume, the result is amazing. It might seem sweet, but it isn’t. It’s very balanced and doesn’t change over time. The big drawback is the longevity, which is very scarce, which is why I think it’s overpriced (I bought it on sale). Incredible aroma, but it doesn’t last.

  • Incredibly refined. I’m not great with notes, but to me, it’s a mandarin bonbon, nothing like cheap supermarket cologne. It’s an exquisite perfume; the result of that blend is amazing. Reading reviews, it might seem overly sweet, but it doesn’t feel that way to me at all. It’s very balanced and doesn’t change over time. The downside (a huge one) is the longevity, which is very short. That’s why it seems expensive—I bought it on sale. It’s an incredible aroma, but unfortunately, it doesn’t last.

  • Dry down and right upon application to my skin, it smells like bitter cocoa powder and tangerine. But soon it shifts to coffee and tonka, where it stays for the rest of the time. Unfortunately, that combination is grating to me (my skin just doesn’t get along with those accords; they amplify terribly and smell awful), though it could work for someone else as an autumn/winter evening scent. The sillage is moderate and lasts about 4 hours without fading, but once it stops projecting, almost all the trail disappears. Pleasant: 4/10 Interesting: 6/10 Versatile: 5/10 Original: 6/10

  • Both in spray and at first impression, it smells like bitter cocoa powder and mandarin. However, on my skin, it quickly shifts to coffee and tonka, where it stays for the rest of the wear. Unfortunately, that combination is grating on me (my skin chemistry doesn’t handle those accords well, and they amplify in a nasty way), but it could work for someone else as an autumn/winter night fragrance. The trail is moderate and long-lasting, about 4 hours without losing intensity, but once the projection fades, the scent trail disappears. After testing it as a decant, I bought the 50 mL bottle and have no regrets. It’s a very sweet fragrance, but not cloying. Reminds me of Good Girl, but a sweeter, chocolatey, caramelized, and more linear version. It opens sweet with a noticeable mandarin note. Within a minute, it dries down, with cocoa and tonka joining in quickly. I don’t detect the olive, but there is a very subtle spicy touch, somewhere between cinnamon and cloves. The trail is sharp and strong at first, then fades after a couple of hours; it lasts about 6 hours total, after which it’s just skin scent. It’s pleasant, but I wouldn’t wear it daily. Perfect for cloudy days when I want a little spark. Absolutely feminine and great value.

  • I know it’s a beautiful perfume, but my nose doesn’t pick up the full profile. It smells sweet; I notice the mandarin in the opening, then it just turns into something sugary and floral. It’s a pity I can’t smell the beauty of the tonka and chocolate that everyone talks about. The trail is moderate at first, then it fades quite a bit—medium to low longevity. This has happened with every Hugo Boss I’ve bought. What a shame. But if you love sweet, chocolatey scents, people say it’s gorgeous.

  • Well, the reviews misled me. It’s a cocoa perfume, but not as gourmand as they say; it’s not meant to be eaten off the skin. It’s rich but more cosmetic, highlighting dry cocoa and vanilla. The tonka bean isn’t prominent; it’s not balsamic or creamy, but silky with a dry cocoa. Its personality suits a special event or celebration—something composed, not for running around in sneakers, though it works for daily wear except maybe summer. It doesn’t resemble the DNA of the original Scent. It’s a warm, spicy floral. Compared to Cacharel’s I Am Delicious: I chose the Boss without testing, but the Cacharel is more lactonic, a cocoa with a milk chocolate and vanilla touch—more gourmand, playful, and casual, very comfortable but it doesn’t last. Cacharel’s Private Accord smells cheaper; the Boss one feels more luxurious and crafted, though the Cacharel is more edible with less blended notes, more like a flavoring. Maybe I’d buy both, but I returned the Private Accord and kept I Am Delicious; it felt sweeter and more gourmand, which is what I was looking for. The Private Accord reminds me of Britney’s Private Show, just with dulce de leche instead of cocoa.

  • Amazing bitter cocoa and mandarin scent; I also detect tonka and coffee, though I don’t really pick up on the olive. It’s sweet but not cloying. Perfect for fall and winter. However, it has a major flaw: the longevity is terrible. On me, it lasts a maximum of 4 hours, after which only a faint scent lingers right against the skin. I really hope they reformulate it to improve the longevity because the smell is so pleasant.

  • Dama Incognita

I rarely write negative reviews because if I don’t like a perfume, I don’t bother commenting, but this one deserves it. It was a blind buy because I got carried away by a YouTube video (from a channel called Jeremy) and it was on sale, but it disappointed me. The cocoa and orange notes (it doesn’t smell like tangerine) feel very synthetic. Plus, I agree with others that the sillage and longevity are extremely low. From this line, I prefer The Scent Absolute for her; it lasts longer and is also gourmand, though the notes differ. As for chocolate and orange scents, I think Montale’s Chocolate Greedy is better. I know tastes vary, but I recommend testing it on your skin before buying.

The opening smells more like peach than mandarin. Very little sillage and poor longevity. I keep it in my bag to reapply two or three times a day, almost like a splash. The base cocoa is perhaps the most lasting note. For the price, it leaves much to be desired.

  • It starts with mandarin and evolves into chocolate, but on my skin it lasts only about 2 or 3 hours. I have to carry the bottle in my bag and reapply two or three times a day. For the price, I think it lacks strength and depth.

Invites closeness, it’s a magnet for the skin. Soft and feminine, without being heavy, the cocoa is rounded out by tonka while mandarin adds a citrusy touch. It’s not intrusive; it caresses and turns into a creamy, tempting veil. At first, I thought it was just okay, but after a few hours, the scent floated incredibly around me, as if I couldn’t pinpoint its source—I was wearing it. You’d want to hug the person wearing it. The mandarin doesn’t overpower; it floats between warmth and freshness. The powdered cocoa is present from the start, offering warmth. Projection and longevity are mid-level, well-perceptible at first. Ideal for a date to leave an olfactory mark (and more). If you like chocolate, it’s a hit. One of the best in the Hugo Boss for Her line.
