  • I tried The Scent Le Parfum and have to say it delivered great results. The Private Accord with that chocolate note smells spectacular. The iris starts super soft, but after 20 minutes it turns gourmand, and for the heat, honestly, it can be overwhelming. I think it’s better for fall and spring; personally, it didn’t quite convince me because it’s too sweet, but it smells really good. Performance on my skin: about 4 hours.

  • Just one thing to say: Bravo! It’s an incredible, sensual creation with that enchanting tropical twist. Lasts forever, projects like crazy, and is on another level. You might catch a tiny gourmand note, but it’s way less than the Absolute; here the iris shines, hinting slightly at Dior Homme Intense, though it’s fruitier and less sweet overall.

  • Bravo, incredible creation. It’s sensual with a tropical touch, lasts long, and truly projects—a fragrance out of this world. You might catch a tiny gourmand note, but less than the Absolute. The iris stands out and hints slightly at Dior Homme Intense, though this one is fruitier and less gourmand.

Boss The Scent Le Parfum is woody, semi-sweet, and talcum-like. I tried it because I own the Parfum Edition and wanted to see if they were the same. They are different; it’s worth owning both. It opens fruity and spicy, creamy and talcum-like. Although the maninka is less present than in the regular line, it’s still there, along with more ginger and iris (the other version had Orris). The base is woody with a subtle leather, less than the black version. It smells attractive and is a great alternative to Givenchy Gentleman, especially the EDP. Perfect for parties or romantic dates, ideal for autumn and winter. It lasted over 8 hours, notably strong for the first two. I liked it a lot, maybe I’ll buy it. Recommended for iris lovers.

I tested it twice on blotter paper, and luckily… it’s not a scent that goes with me. It smells too sweet and tropical due to the mangosteen, very bold for my taste. Maybe I don’t have a trained nose, but I can’t figure out what to like about it. I see it as more feminine; the first time the sales associate sprayed it on me, I thought they had mixed it up. I tried it again a few days later and confirmed I hate it: after 5 seconds, I tossed the paper and looked for something else. I had high hopes, and the disappointment was absolute. It’s my opinion, but I believe men’s perfumes, even gourmands, should smell different.

I’ve tested it twice on paper and I’m glad… it’s not a scent for me. It smells too sweet and tropical due to the maninka, very bold. Maybe I don’t have a trained nose, but I can’t find where to grab it. It seems more feminine; the first time the salesperson sprayed it on me, I thought she made a mistake. I tried it again days later and threw it away after five seconds. I had high hopes and was totally disappointed. But that’s my opinion: men’s perfumes, even gourmands, should smell different.

  • Hugo Boss The Scent Le Parfum is woody, semi-sweet, with a powdery touch. I was curious because I own the Parfum Edition and wanted to know if this was a relaunch, but they’re distinct enough to own both. The opening is fruity, spicy, and slightly creamy. While the line’s DNA is there, there’s less mangosteen, more ginger, and an added iris that make it unique. The base is woody with a barely perceptible leather, unlike the black version where it was more noticeable. It’s attractive, a great alternative to the Givenchy Gentleman line, perfect for parties or romantic outings in fall and winter. Lasted over 8 hours, very prominent for the first two. I loved it, so I might buy it. Highly recommend trying it, especially for iris lovers!

  • It opens fruity due to the maninka, which blends with the iris in about 20 minutes. By the second hour, the iris takes on cocoa powder nuances, very pleasant. I’m not a fan of iris, but I like the heart more than the opening. At five hours, it becomes woody with a light leather note. It lasts 7-8 hours with average projection. Ideal for autumn and winter; it has elegance. It’s okay, but not for me.

  • I was slow to try it because the original The Scent seemed mediocre to me, but reviews of this flanker convinced me. I was pleasantly surprised: it features woody iris and the sweetness of maninka, which is more pronounced than in the original. Good opening, though the iris is my favorite note, making it hard for me to be objective. As it dries down, it gets closer to the EDT and the iris lowers its profile. Decent performance and average projection for about two hours. I see it as unisex and think it’s the best from Boss since Bottled Intense. Give it a sniff.

  • I was slow to try The Scent Le Parfum because the original always seemed mediocre to me, but after reading good reviews, I decided to give it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. At first, it smells of woody iris with the sweetness of mangosteen, more pronounced than in the original. The first impressions are great (iris is my favorite note, so I find it hard to be objective). As it dries down, it gets closer to the EDT and the iris tones down. Decent performance and moderate projection for two hours. I see it as unisex and think it’s one of Boss’s best offerings since Bottled Intense was discontinued. Give it a sniff.

  • To me, it smells of mangosteen and iris over a dark wood base; a very seductive yet elegant sweet, ideal for nights, formal events, dates, or cold days. Performance is excellent: it projects well and lasts quite a while.

  • To me, it’s maninka and iris over a dark, woody base. A very seductive and elegant sweetness, perfect for nights, dates, or cold days. The performance is good; it projects well and lasts a decent amount of time.

  • I liked The Scent line for the maninka, which breaks away from the usual sweetness. I loved it in the store and bought it on the spot. But on my skin, it’s a disaster: it smells very faint and fades quickly. It needs more projection. In winter, wearing a coat, it’s even less noticeable than the Gentleman Reserve Privée. I’ll let it settle; maybe it’ll improve. The scent itself is charming.

  • Boss The Scent Le Parfum is pure seduction in an elegant bottle. It opens with ginger and cardamom—intense yet refined. The African maninka adds a sensual, addictive touch. The leather in the base brings mystery and longevity. It sits well and projects, leaving a trail that lingers. The dark, clean bottle reflects that modern sophistication. Ideal for anyone seeking something elegant and captivating.

I tried it yesterday; it’s rich, but for this price, it smells just like Axe deodorant. Literally the same IFF ingredients. You’d get better value with 20 cans of that leather-and-cookie deodorant, which lasts longer. Or look for Banderas The Secret for $30; it’s the same thing.

  • It smells very similar to the Pear Gentleman EDT, not so much the Intense. It has an old gum, fruity, and powdery scent—soft, sweet, yet clean. There’s no vanilla or chocolate. The iris and leather are barely a whisper, nothing strong.
