Descripción
Boss Bottled by Hugo Boss is a woody-spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 1998, this composition was created by Annick Menardo and Christian Dussoulier. The top notes reveal a vibrant freshness with apple, plum, bergamot, lemon, oakmoss, and geranium. The heart unfolds with warmth thanks to cinnamon, cedarwood, and carnation. Finally, the base notes offer a robust and persistent foundation formed by vanilla, sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, and olive.

Good perfume.
Not much to say, personally I like it a lot and it was one of my favorites. Lasts about 6 or 7 hours, perfect for the office and casual outings, nothing annoying, and it’s brought me several compliments. I love the fresh apple and citrus opening, then it settles and becomes slightly warm. I detect cedarwood and a bit of cinnamon. Finally, vanilla and woods with a sweet touch. Another scent I always want in my collection. It’s not innovative, but it’s very pleasant to wear.
〰Hugo Boss – Boss Bottled〰 ▪ A sophisticated and modern fragrance that embodies the modern man. A fresh and warm blend, ideal for daily wear and special occasions, elegant and distinctive. ▪ Opens with apple, plum, and lemon, vibrant and energetic. In the heart, cinnamon, clove, and cedarwood add a spicy and warm touch. A base of vanilla, sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, and olive creates a robust and seductive finish. 💲 Price: Moderate. ⛔ Caution: Being versatile and popular, it may not feel exclusive if you’re looking for something unique. 💨 Scent: 9/10 – Fruity, spicy, warm, and woody. 🕒 Longevity: 7/10 – Moderate, good for almost anything. ⏩ Projection: 7/10 – Moderate, noticeable without being overwhelming. ▫ Conclusion: A balanced olfactory experience, fresh and warm. Although popular, its sophistication and versatility make it stand out. ✔ Recommended. Meets expectations and is a valid, reliable option.
SOMETIMES IT’S BETTER NOT TO OVERCOMPLICATE THINGS. I’ve read complaints about longevity and projection (understandable). I’m not going to talk about that; this fragrance has already proven itself. Although it has aged poorly due to reformulations, it remains one of the best creations. Every successful scent has copies. With how difficult it is today not to go to extremes, Hugo Boss achieves the perfect balance: fresh, woody, sweet, fruity, floral, elegant, and mature. It’s versatile but not boring. Women are fascinated by it; they prefer simplicity, and this is unforgettable, perfect as a signature. I bought a high-quality dupe, 8 hours on skin with decent projection. Don’t overcomplicate it and enjoy it; with so many Arabic and sweet perfumes out there today, this is a plus. GREETINGS, PERFUME ADDICTS!
My fragrance for almost 20 years, a gift from my sister that became my favorite since then. I’ve used over half a liter; it’s a scent that doesn’t age, versatile, casual, elegant, summery, and wintry. I can only speak in wonders and will keep using it as long as they make it. Sweet and woody, it works for the office, a date, or a drink with the guys. There’s nothing it can’t accompany.
Listen, gentlemen, it’s undeniably good, which is why it’s popular. But it’s so saturated (like Paco Rabanne’s One Million) that all the women who had their first relationships between 2007 and 2015 have developed a bit of fragrance PTSD from scents that were like catnip back then.
Men’s fragrance winner! Hugo Boss Bottled stands out for its freshness and character. From the start, notes of green apple and sour lime give a vibrant opening. In the dry down, vanilla and woods make it a safe bet. Longevity is good, though to get the best performance you need to apply it generously… 7 hours and 1.5 hours of projection. Fits perfectly in spring and autumn (and winter if it’s not too cold), and shines during the day to please those who get close. Rating: 8.7/10
Boss Bottled is a 90s classic that’s still alive. Smells like spiced, creamy red apple with cinnamon and vanilla. It’s a charming scent that evolves beautifully. The longevity is acceptable, around 6-7 hours; it projects strongly at first but then settles closer to the skin. Given its warm and spicy profile, it’s ideal for cooler climates, perfect for autumn. Worth trying to enjoy its classic essence.
If you don’t have a Hugo BOSS Bottled, you’re not a man.
A fantastic fragrance that never goes out of style for me. The price isn’t excessive for what it offers. I loved wearing it to go out. It works great on skin and clothes. It depends on your pH; I sweat a lot because the heat in my tropical country is brutal, but it’s incredible that my pH doesn’t destroy the fragrance. This Boss Bottled is one of my favorites since I was young.
The king of my skin! ❤️🔥 Lasts over 10 hours, and for the first 4, the projection is insane. It was my college perfume, the favorite of all my exes and many who wanted me. I’ve gotten more compliments with this than anything else. Incredible moments. 💋 Sweet, masculine, youthful, and flirtatious. 10/10
I wanted to try this classic, a delicious fragrance. The opening feels fresh to me, and as it dries down, I notice a very pleasant cinnamon and vanilla scent. I’m not sure if it’s been reformulated, but in my case it only projects for the first hour and then stays close to the skin, so I wouldn’t buy it again.
A classic that always works. It’s quite versatile and projects a lot on me.
I tried it at a department store. Excellent performance; it doesn’t project much but is very olfactive on the skin. It’s delicious, just too feminine for my taste. I suppose it’s versatile and will charm anyone who smells it, but it’s not for me—it smells like my aunts or my mother.
One of the best I’ve ever encountered. Hard to be objective about something that stirs emotions. Reformulated? Yes. Lower performance than before? Yes. Smells weaker? Yes. That’s normal in perfumery and you have to accept it. The aroma, style, versatility, and elegance remain intact. The sensuality it conveys is another story. The blend of apple, cinnamon, vanilla, and a floral touch makes it unique. With new batches I get 8 hours with moderate sillage and projection. As a medical professional, it’s ideal. Totally recommended, though you’ll need to reapply every 4 hours.
One of my first perfumes that introduced me to the world of fragrance. Pleasant aroma that everyone likes, super versatile, and suitable for any occasion. That said, in my case and for many others, it doesn’t last long, but it’s so delicious.
A precious, timeless, and special fragrance. Honestly, the EDP doesn’t live up to the hype about lasting and projecting more; it’s something else entirely. Still, add this EDT to your list: woods, cinnamon, and vanilla never fail.
What can you say about a classic? What we used to wear out now we wear to the office. It ages with us. Its apple and cinnamon DNA makes it versatile (less so in summer): it’s not overpowering and smells elegant. You can walk the dog and then head to a meeting without changing. It lasts 5-6 hours with low projection but good sillage. Linear and mature. Perfect for fall/winter in the office with formal wear; you’ll never annoy anyone. Just be aware some exes might feel weird smelling it.
I got this as a gift in 2021. My brother would flood the elevator every time he left, and the person behind him would get soaked in an exquisite trail. When I started understanding perfumes, Hugo Boss Bottled EDT joined my collection. The scent is just as rich, but nowadays its projection is terrible and it lasts only 4-5 hours on skin (a bit more on clothes). Maybe my brother had an older, more potent batch. If you’re looking for something rich for daily wear, just for your own nose, I recommend it. Otherwise, don’t bother.
What more can be said? Soft and light opening, fresh and sweet apple with floating notes of vanilla and cinnamon, drying down to woody. It’s classic and very good. Compared to designer fragrances from recent years, it falls short on projection and longevity. Very usable for everyday wear.
I’ve owned this several times but still struggle to find the right moment for it. The opening is alcoholic, but then that vanilla kicks in and makes it intense. I wear it at night—not to turn heads.
The best part is the scent and that it works in any weather; it’s my personal fragrance. It smells like vanilla, so if you like it, buy it without hesitation.
A great classic that never fails. For those days when you don’t know what to wear, this stands on its own. I use it for work and it works great; I’ve even received compliments. The longevity isn’t amazing, but it lasts about 5 hours, projecting well for the first two. I see it as everyday wear, but it could work for a night out or date because it’s sweet with that elegant woody touch. Nowadays there are better options for the price, but it remains a classic scent that works very well.
Super versatile. It’s one of the few I have that I think can be worn in any season or time, though it feels a bit short in the cold. It smells common right out of the bottle, but once it dries down after 5 minutes, I love it. It’s a perfect blend of vanilla and woods, with a very soft vanilla—nothing like a candy shop. The downside, as always, is the longevity (even though the bottle is 15 years old and I had it lost).
I see it as very unisex and it smells a lot like incense.
Masculine, semi-elegant, and perfect for everyday wear, like the office. I’d say it’s for men 24 and up. Its Achilles’ heel is projection and longevity, which are very weak in my batch and leave much to be desired. If it were just about the scent, I’d recommend it, but for the price, there are other designer options with better performance. Scent: 8/10, Longevity and Projection: 6/10, Price: 7/10. Age: 24+. Occasion: Office.
Hello… here in Chile, it’s customary to eat cooked apples with sugar and cinnamon… and that’s exactly what Boss Bottle smells like to me.
It smells great, but the longevity and projection aren’t the best for making a statement. Still, I find it super versatile, youthful, and very pleasant to wear.
What a disaster. It’s the only perfume that has literally made my nose hurt; it gives me terrible nausea. It has that weird note that smells like burnt rubber, which is disgusting. Just smelling it gives me a headache, and I had to wash my arm twice with soap and disinfectant to get the scent off.
Boss Bottled is an unbeatable classic and super versatile, perfect for looking effortlessly elegant in your everyday routine. Just note that performance can vary by batch and skin chemistry, so it’s best to test it before buying. If you like something warm, woody, and traditional, this is your pick.
A very pleasant and versatile classic; you can wear it day or night, in any season. I detect green apple and woods. It’s fresh, masculine, youthful, and clean, lasting about 5-6 hours. Maybe it’s not the most original fragrance in the world since it’s quite commercial, but certainly you can’t go wrong with it.
Rich and simple scent for any occasion. The downside is that it doesn’t last very long. Seems like the YSL Nuit.
My signature scent for life, but it has lost its longevity and intensity in an alarming way with the recent reformulations. Every woman who’s smelled it up close finds it exciting, and I mean exciting—that’s the exact word. Even in my last purchase a few months ago, where the scent barely lasts a breath, it still has that effect but feels like a second skin. I’d say it doesn’t last more than 4 hours and the sillage is non-existent, only noticeable right after spraying. Setting those issues aside, I love its aroma and it will always have a spot on my shelf.
One of those perfumes that defined an era. I owned several bottles and still remember it perfectly today. Elegant, versatile, and with that characteristic fruity-cinnamon touch that made it a classic. It opens with apple and cinnamon, a warm, sweet, and spicy combination that wraps around you from the first moment. Then a woody and creamy base emerges, with notes of vanilla, sandalwood, and cedar, making it very pleasant and easy to wear. It strikes a perfect balance between formal and casual, ideal for daily use or even work. It’s a masculine fragrance that’s elegant and clean, with a seductive edge without being intense or heavy. Perfect for anyone who wants to smell good without overcomplicating things. Lasts around 6 hours with moderate projection that’s noticeable in the first few hours. These days, it doesn’t hit as hard as it did back in the day, but it still smells great and carries a classic stamp that never goes out of style. Perfect for fall, winter, or spring, though you can wear it year-round without issues. A fragrance that smells like memories, confidence, and good times. Rating: 7.5.
A spectacular perfume that no one dislikes. It’s timeless; it looks great on both old and young men. It radiates positivity, elegance, naturalness, and nobility. That blend of apple, cinnamon, and enveloping vanilla is exquisite. 10/10.
Bad purchase. For 309 soles (about $91.88 USD), I bought a 200ml bottle that barely smells; the scent vanished in seconds.
Very good. It’s the perfume that has earned me the most compliments from women.
Give it to the office and the compliments; it gets boring fast. Does everyone work in an office? NO. What need do they have for compliments? What a pathetic generation! Then they talk about travel and niche scents and can’t imagine any other setting besides an office.
A boring perfume that doesn’t stand out, easy to forget. Soft aroma, a bit powdery, perfect for the office and nothing else.
It was my first ‘boxed’ perfume I tried, thanks to a free sample at El Corte Inglés years ago, and that alone made me want it. I read the reviews about the reformulation and thought it was completely ruined, so I went for the Intense version, which is the same fragrance but more potent. The truth is, it doesn’t last or project much more. If longevity and sillage aren’t its strong suit—just like the rest of the German house—I still recommend having it in your collection (especially the Intense, which I’ll review later) for how Hugo Boss crafts that medicinal-toned, caramelized, musky, and woody apple note, blending formality with seduction. It remains HB’s flagship because, like great perfumes, it transcends eras and trends. Wear it in autumn as the ideal season and on fresh spring days. It lacks power in the cold and would be totally out of place in the heat.
