  • Tried it today and it didn’t land for me. To my nose, it smelled like banana, and I don’t get why it’s not listed in the notes. I’m convinced it has banana or some kind of tropical fruit in it.

  • It felt very sweet and long-lasting, the kind that leaves a trail. Like with Selene85, I noticed a fruity note but couldn’t pinpoint which one. It was a launch I really wanted, but in the end, it’s just not for me.

  • Sprayed it on blotting paper first, and at first, I was overwhelmed—it hit like a grenade blast so hard I wanted to run. After an hour, though, it settled into jasmine, orange blossom, and water lily (even if the notes don’t say it, that’s what I smell). I absolutely love it; it’s super soft, not too potent, but I’ll have to test it on skin to see how it evolves.

  • It’s a perfume that, although not one of my favorites, causes a stir whenever you wear it. I like the dry-down because it softens a lot compared to the initial application, and it has excellent longevity. I find a nod to the original, but this one comes out more gourmand.

  • It’s a perfume that, while not one of my favorites, causes quite a stir when you wear it. I love the dry-down because it softens significantly after application and has excellent longevity. I find a nod to the original, but in my case, this one comes across as more gourmand.

  • One word: Spectacular. The only downside is the price, which is excessive, but there are perfumes at the same price that don’t last or leave a trail. It’s special and makes an impression.

  • The name defines it: intense. Be careful with the amount; one spray is enough for me and lasts a long time, resulting in a very sexy scent… but if you overapply, it overwhelms you and everyone around you. The dry-down softens a lot, and the trail and longevity are excellent. I see this for nightwear or when you’re dressed up; I wouldn’t wear it to work or in enclosed spaces.

  • FEMALE EXPLOSION! Maybe it’s oriental-floral, but it’s an alternative gourmand for those who don’t usually like gourmands. I received it as an anonymous gift and at first, judging by the bottle and name, I thought they thought I was very ‘girly,’ but the next day I couldn’t feel more grateful. At first, it smells very sweet and gourmand, like Hansel & Gretel, but soon it turns dark and dry with that warm tiare note. It reminds me of Angel by Mugler, same sweetness but without the aquatic or soapy vibe, though it has a slight minty touch. At the start, it’s sweet, sugary, and creamy, but always balanced by a deep base note. The artificial strawberry note is the least favorite part, only when it’s too strong. Once dry, it’s delicious and addictive, almost like soft, creamy vanilla. It reminds me of Angel at the end, but it’s sweeter and more feminine, with the same incredible longevity. It sits beautifully on the skin, cheerful, and brings out feminine beauty. I think it’s great for less mature noses, easy to enjoy, and seductive. USAGE: Don’t overdo it because it lasts forever and leaves a mark. Use moderately, for special occasions or even everyday routines to surprise. It has a dangerous sweetness that, if overused, can cross the line into being too much.

Don’t let reviews blind you to trying a perfume yourself. I was about to buy this blindly, but I tested it at a mall and didn’t like it. As the name suggests, it’s intense; one spray makes me dizzy, especially in the heat. It leaves a huge trail and lasts about 6 hours on me, which I can’t stand. It’s sweet, heavy, and loses its punch. The first application is overwhelming; I think it’s the concentrated vanilla that doesn’t work for me. Sorry to say, but saving a perfume just for special occasions… isn’t life special all the time? You only live once! Don’t buy a perfume just because you want it for something special; buy one you’ve tested and know suits you. Unless it’s a gift, don’t settle for one that will just sit in a drawer. Remember, perfumes expire, and the formula changes over time.

  • I absolutely love CLASSIQUE INTENSE. I wear it in all seasons and at any time. The first time I smelled it, I thought it smelled like chocolate (I know it doesn’t have chocolate, but I still get that vibe). It has double the jasmine because the tiare smells like jasmine, and it pairs beautifully with the pomegranate. Fun fact: tiare is the emblem of Polynesia, and everyone receives a flower. This perfume has incredible longevity and great sillage. A little goes a long way. The bottle is gorgeous and collectible. It won’t be missing from my shelf.

  • I absolutely love CLASSIQUE INTENSE by Gaultier. Perfect for spring, summer, fall, and winter, any time of day or night. The first time I smelled it, I got a faint chocolate vibe (I know it’s not listed on Fragrantica, but I still get that impression). It has double the dose of jasmine since tiare smells like jasmine, and it combines exquisitely with the pomegranate and the rest. Fun fact: tiare is the emblem of French Polynesia; traditionally, you’re given a lei or a flower behind the ear. This perfume has great longevity and sillage. For me, that’s always a plus; a little goes a long way. The bottle is gorgeous and collectible. It won’t be missing from my shelf. Cheers!

  • A fragrance that always winked at me from the JPG counter. I’ve tried it a third time and I’m keeping it. Its older sister only shares the orange blossom and vanilla, but this one has a more youthful, creamy, and juicy aroma. It evokes sun and beach, like you just got a tan and then applied a flower orange blossom balm with hints of vanilla and an imaginary peach. It’s floral, creamy, sweet, and delicate. Although it evokes the beach, it’s perfect for any event, formal or informal; it’s friendly, has great sillage, and lasts about 8 hours.

  • What a delight! Finally received it, and my sense of smell really changed. I heard about it years ago but couldn’t handle the pomegranate version, which was too cloying for me. Today, however, I smelled lots of orange blossom, followed by an exquisite creamy sweetness.

My absolute favorite. Nothing makes me feel as crazy about a scent as this one. It’s hard to find here in Buenos Aires, so I save it for special occasions. It’s super intense, powerful, strong, and sweet, with incredible longevity. I shower and wash my hair, and it’s still there the next day. I love it.

  • Crisindian

Of course, JPG never misses. I love all of them, but this one is driving me crazy in the best way possible. It’s not as gourmand as I expected; what I notice most is the tiare and orange blossom. A delight.

  • It’s a delicious fragrance, where the Tiare, Neroli, and vanilla really stand out. It smells super comfortable, modern, and sensual. It carries the JPG seal that demonstrates brutal quality in its ingredients. I love it.

  • It’s a delicious fragrance; for me, the tiare, orange blossom, and vanilla really stand out. Very comfortable, modern, and sensual. It carries the signature JPG seal, showing excellent quality in its raw materials. I love it so much.

  • This perfume absolutely blows me away; it’s in my top 5, and I feel like my review doesn’t do it justice. Wearing it feels like sharing an intimate secret—it’s so mine. Classique Intense smells delicious and super sweet, dominated by white flowers, especially jasmine and tiare. It’s a tropicalized, almost fruity jasmine that’s addictive. It makes me feel like bees rushing toward a flower. It lasts at least 15 hours on skin and way longer on clothes; I catch myself smelling it constantly. It’s spectacular and irresistible, though only for lovers of intense scents. I wear it in any season for special occasions and would make it my signature if Olympea didn’t hold such emotional weight for me. For me, it’s Francis Kurkdjian’s best work to date. Scent: 10/10, Longevity: 10/10, Sillage: 10/10, Value: 10/10, Versatility: 9/10, Packaging: 7/10. Would I buy it again? A thousand times over.

  • It has me hooked. It’s in my top 5 and I think my review doesn’t do it justice. I feel like I’m telling you an intimate secret; I love it so much. Classique Intense smells absolutely delicious and super sweet on white flowers, especially jasmine and Tiare, in a tropicalized, almost fruity jasmine that has me hooked. It gives me what bees must feel when forced to go to a flower. On my skin, it lasts a minimum of 15 hours, longer on clothes, and I can smell it all day. It’s spectacular and irresistible, although only for lovers of powerful perfumes. I wear it any season on special occasions and it would be my signature if Olympea didn’t have an emotional weight for me that keeps it on the podium. For me, it’s the best by Francis Kurkdjian so far. Scent 10/10 Longevity 10/10 Sillage 10/10 Value/Price 10/10 Versatility 9/10 Packaging 7/10 Would I buy again? A thousand times.

Without a doubt, it’s the king of the Classique line (at least for my nose). White flowers with hazelnut, where the Tiare shines with an exotic, tropical luxury touch. In terms of longevity, power, and sillage, on my skin it’s a beast: over 10 hours, projects strongly for the first four, then stays on the skin. It attracts compliments from all types and ages. It’s super versatile for all year round, but my favorite is wearing it on summer nights, dressed up and applying generously (which is how you should wear perfumes). I can’t live without it. I don’t understand why they discontinued it. I have three bottles and I use one, then I buy another. It’s my fetish.

  • I started obsessively searching for perfumes with a Tiare note, since I own the Classique Woman Wonders and I love it for being light, fresh, and floral. Upon finding this, I hunted until I got it. After trying it, I loved it: it’s an explosion of white flowers bathed in sweet vanilla with a delicious summer touch. It’s intense but not overwhelming; my husband walked in and asked what I was wearing. Its creamy sweetness of Tiare, vanilla, and pomegranate defines it. The trail is phenomenal and lasts about 7 or 8 hours. Since it’s a limited edition, you’ll hardly see it again, so if you find it, don’t let it slip away.

This EDP is amazing; the Tiare note smells super pleasant and elegant. I adore it 💞. I wear it during the day, but it can be used even more effectively at night. It works great for fall, winter, and spring; in summer, only on cool nights. Its longevity, sillage, and projection are top-notch; it makes you feel comfortable and bold 👍

  • When I first smelled it, I said: ‘It really smells like the other JPGs I own!’ After extensively using my So Scandal, which I love, and Scandal By Night, this Classique Intense starts to feel a bit redundant to me, but no less wonderful. The Tiare and vanilla notes are absolute. I still perceive that crunchy base I love in JPG perfumes, which reminds me of puff pastry or a cookie. Here, I perceive the flowers as pollen-rich, fleshy, at the peak of summer, exuding their essence fully. The ‘Intense’ really suits it. It also reminds me a lot of shampoo scent, which happens with So Scandal too. It has a clean smell. Plus, the vanilla and patchouli give it more punch in aroma and longevity. When I say it’s a beast, it is. It lasted over 12 hours on my skin and more than a day on clothes. It projects constantly and the trail is incredible. You can’t ask for more. However, among the ones I mentioned, this one doesn’t please me as much as the others. It doesn’t seem as versatile as So Scandal, nor as interesting as Scandal By Night, nor do I hold as much nostalgia for it as the original Classique. Anyway, it has everything to win, but unfortunately for my nose, it’s not quite enough, so I wouldn’t buy a full bottle, and that’s fine. I still recommend it to those who like this type of perfume. It’s truly a gem.

  • At first sniff, I thought, ‘This smells like the other JPGs I own!’ After wearing my So Scandal and Scandal By Night a lot, this Classique Intense feels a bit redundant, but no less wonderful. The tiare and vanilla notes are absolute. I still feel that signature crisp JPG base, like puff pastry or cookies. Here, the flowers smell powdery and fleshy, exuding essence in the middle of summer. The ‘Intense’ really fits. It also smells like shampoo, similar to So Scandal, with that clean scent. The vanilla and patchouli give it more punch. When I say it’s a beast, it is. It lasts over 12 hours on skin and a full day on clothes; it projects and the sillage is incredible. You can’t ask for more. However, compared to the ones I mentioned, this isn’t my favorite. It’s not as versatile as So Scandal, as interesting as By Night, or as nostalgic as the original. Anyway, it has everything to win, but unfortunately, for my nose, it’s not enough, so I wouldn’t buy a full bottle, and that’s okay. I still recommend it to anyone who likes this type of perfume. It’s a gem.

  • Perla Vencis

I’m familiar with the Elie Saab EDP and Intense comparisons for Classique Intense, but in my opinion, they are distinct scents; the only commonality is perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. I discovered Classique Intense a few weeks ago and I think it shines on its own, different from the Elie Saab line. On the opening, the Tiare flower is noticeable, just like the Neroli blossom; the other flowers (jasmine and rose) aren’t as present. Same with vanilla and patchouli: they’re there, but they don’t lead the melody. What remains on my skin is a good blend of Tiare and Neroli, and I also detect a pink pepper (not listed, but it’s there). I’ve worn it in winter and it has excellent longevity: I apply it in the morning and I can still smell it on my skin the next day [I don’t like it on fabrics]. I’ll wait to see how it performs in other seasons because, being floral, I think it can look great in spring and summer.

  • Leticia Vazquez

Classique Intense is a versatile fragrance where the Tiare flower, Neroli blossom, and a touch of vanilla really shine. It reminds me a bit of L’Artisan Parfumeur Eclat EDP. It’s slightly fresh and I wear it in spring, summer, and fall. I love it.

  • Woman in Love

Beautiful, but for real! Feminine, seductive, enveloping, with that languid touch that’s so cool… A total luxury for night out, a date, the theater, or any special event. Longevity and sillage are moderate.
