I had it and had to sell it because the fragrance was too heavy, totally cloying and overwhelming. I’m more of a princess perfume person, florals with a fruity touch; for this reason, it was unbearable for me. Very gourmand, too much.
It’s like mixing the darkest thing that exists with the most gourmand thing in the world. This is La Belle Le Parfum for me. Sillage and longevity are beast mode. When I found out they changed the bottle, I rushed to grab a 100ml of the old one on Vinted just in case… I have to say I’ve smelled the new one and it seems to smell the same, but as if you put it on 2 hours ago; I think the change is that they lowered the intensity.
When I smell this, the first thing I think is: what a sexy scent. It’s sensual power in a bottle. The vanilla definitely stands out, a striking vanilla sweetened with tonka bean and pear. As I read in @MBlack’s comment, it’s very true that it’s like mixing the darkest with the most gourmand in a perfume bottle; it also transmits that to me. Longevity and sillage are amazing; it’s noticeable wherever it passes. I’ve fallen in love with this perfume; it feels very attractive, feminine, and nocturnal. You’re sure to receive many compliments wearing it. EDIT: run to get it because after the reformulation, it’s not the same anymore.
Definitely my favorite perfume, a scent that simply forces you to keep smelling it (I think it’s the tonka bean), addictive, sensual, sweet, and strong. I love it.
This perfume captivates me. It’s elegant and fresh at the same time thanks to the pear opening. Modern, sensual. I love it. In my opinion, a great blind buy. I can’t imagine who wouldn’t like smelling this.
It’s a very sweet and intense perfume, as the name suggests. Ideal for wearing at night or at an important party. I’ve received compliments when I wore it, however, after a few hours with the perfume on, I haven’t received compliments (it doesn’t have such good sillage that you can be smelled from a distance after a few hours). Very delicious, definitely one of my favorites. You have to moderate the sprays because you might end up intoxicating the person next to you.
La Belle Le Parfum is one of my favorite girls from Gaultier. Its scent is sexy, sweet, vanilla-infused, and delicate, like a soft caress to my nose. It’s the perfume that has complimented me the most; even someone compared it to ‘cotton candy,’ proving how sweet it can get. Something I look for: delicacy, sweetness, and something I can tolerate, as I have a sensitive stomach and senses, which I don’t often find in perfumes. Quite different from the original, Le Parfum is much softer and sweeter, but equally sexy. I love both; they are a love for me. On my skin, its longevity is quite long. For me, it’s perfect for ‘night vibes,’ thanks to how sexy it is. It quickly became one of my favorite perfumes. In my opinion, it’s perfect for winter and autumn weather/climate. I love it, I would buy it again.
Oh my god, what a perfume!! I have no words, it’s delicious. Although I won’t say it outright, it smells very much like powdered cinnamon, a caramelized pear wrapped in that powder. I don’t know how else to describe it; it’s fantastic. Longevity and sillage are off the charts. Every time I wear it, I get compliments. If you’re a perfume fan, you have to know this gem by Jean Paul Gaultier. Step out of the basics like Scandal (which is also very rich) but is so common. Give La Belle Le Parfum a chance!
It opens with a juicy, bright pear alongside a caramelized pear, which gains strength as the perfume settles on the skin. It has a spicy gourmand trail like cinnamon, which soon joins the jasmine, offering a soft musky feeling. It’s strong and very sweet but always maintains the slight freshness and sparkle of the pear and the powdery subtlety of the jasmine, which unite with the vanilla and tonka bean to form a charming and rich fragrance. It’s beautiful.
At first, this perfume smells like cinnamon to me, but after a few minutes, it’s easy to perceive a very aggressive vanilla aroma. I think it could be ideal for a party.
I loved it in the bottle so much that I ordered it for my birthday because of the tonka bean base. Fortunately, before they bought it for me, I decided to go try it and had to cancel the order urgently. On my skin, it smells like pear with cinnamon and bleach 🥺🥺🥺🥺, it was terrible and I thought it was my idea or the top notes, but that smell lasted hours (I admit it has good longevity). I recommend testing it on skin, it’s not for everyone, pH can vary the scent.
What a crazy perfume. A sweet, vanilla, enveloping pear. It has personality, it’s bold and sexy, I love it so much. The longevity is insane, I’d say it exceeds 10 hours, with a powerful sillage so people can smell you from afar. Simply put, it’s a perfume that can’t be missing from a collection, a guaranteed hit.
Edit: The other day, drinking coffee with cinnamon, I said: ‘La belle!’ That unbearable note I didn’t know what was, I finally figured it out 😂😂😂, but they added kilos of cinnamon to the perfume. One comment says ‘pear with cinnamon and bleach’ and it’s heading in the right direction. It starts smelling like iron and blood, it’s weird and attracts my nose. Longevity and sillage are 10/10, but I don’t think I’d dare to buy it.
If you have this perfume, I envy you. Defining it limits it.
I tried it at a mall with high hopes. I left disappointed, not much more to say. Too sweet, there’s something I don’t recognize and didn’t like, maybe the amber note. I would have loved to like it, but it wasn’t the case. Maybe the tester was applied poorly, because looking at the reviews it seems like a great perfume, that’s why I’ll try it again.

Smells great, but I wouldn’t recommend it for teenage girls; it’s more for women over 30. It’s a sexy, juicy scent, ideal if you can handle sweetness. Smells like a woman with character, I like that. For guys, if you’re looking for something to grab their attention, this isn’t it; it didn’t impress them, but it makes me feel like I’m wearing my personality. It doesn’t have exceptional sillage or longevity, I think it’s due to the reformulation, but it’s still a good perfume and one of my favorites.
I went to try it because of the TikTok hype. At first, I loved it, I understood the buzz: it smelled like sweet, sexy, vanilla pear. But after a few minutes, I noticed a weird note I still can’t identify, and others have the same issue. Literally, it smells like p*pí. I swore my nose was bad, but my friend and my mom noticed it too: it’s hor*rable! I don’t get how it can do a 360-degree turn from good to terrible. It’s a shame because I really wanted it 🙁

The opening is super potent, to the point of giving me nausea, unsustainable. Once it dries, it smells like freshly ground pepper, which worsens the initial sensation. On my pH, it’s an absolute no. I recommend not buying it blind.
Yes, honestly, it does smell like vanilla cookies with pear juice on top. It’s also true the opening is very potent and can remind you of some medicinal syrup, but then the fully sweetened jasmine appears, and every hour it gets more addictive. It’s for fall and winter, forbidden in summer. Lasts a minimum of 8 hours; on clothes, it lasts a full week. When I wore it, I had a silicone watch, and it got permanently impregnated lol, the scent still won’t come off.

I read the notes and thought it would be a total hit that I’d love. I love intense, sweet perfumes with a strong presence. I went to the perfumerie and was hugely disappointed, even after testing it multiple times on my skin. My mom told me it smelled like olive juice, and now I can’t shake that thought lol. I haven’t worn La Belle Le Parfum in a long time, and today I put it on; I’ve been wondering what it reminds me of so much. I feel it, though—the final aftertaste is totally addictive and seems very similar across these three.

I think that tricky ‘olive note’ only appears in the opening. Once dry, it’s a nectar of vanilla, pear, and tonka bean. The dense creaminess of the tonka adds depth and darkness, setting it apart from La Belle. Both are beautiful and super elegant, though I find La Belle more versatile and Le Parfum better for cool climates or night.
Spectacular perfume. At 25, it’s in my top 3 of everything I’ve bought so far. On my skin, it lasts 8 to 12 hours, and on clothes, it lingers even after washing. I bought it blind, and when this bottle runs out, I’ll definitely buy another.

On my skin, it smells strongly of olive (I hate that note lol) and it doesn’t improve over time. I also don’t like Kayali’s Candy Rock Sugar, which they say is similar, so it’s definitely not my profile. What a pity.

I keep my 2022 bottle like a treasure: candied pear with a hint of liquor, vanilla, tonka bean, and something that smells like undeclared leather or suede. It’s an overwhelming beauty we lost with the reformulation 🥲
