Holidays by Mancera is a woody floral musk fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2016, this composition is signed by perfumer Pierre Montale. The top notes of coconut and bergamot deliver a fresh, tropical first impression. The heart unfolds with tiare flower alongside ylang-ylang and marine notes that add depth and salinity. To close, the base notes reveal vanilla, sandalwood, and white musk, imparting warmth and longevity to the scent trail.

Holidays is a creamy floral perfume ideal for spring-summer. On my skin, ylang-ylang and tiare flower stand out a lot, followed by a moderate coconut note with aquatic touches; the dry down is vanilla and tiare, making it creamier, like a tropical bronzing lotion. It’s sweet but not gourmand; it transports me to the beach surrounded by palm trees, lying in a hammock, and tanned with tropical sunscreen. Its longevity is fantastic; you have to be careful with applications because it can become overwhelming on very hot days. I highly recommend it for those who love this beachy vibe, the sunscreen scent. If you’re looking for something very sweet in this style but less floral, go for Mancera’s Coco Vanilla; if you want something much more floral that highlights the tiare to the max, choose Montale’s Intense Tiare. If you’re looking for a creamy beachy scent like a tiare bronzer, don’t hesitate with Holidays. All of them last more than 9 hours on skin.
On vacation, it smells like vanilla with a hint of chocolate; you can detect some ylang-ylang and coconut. If you want something more tropical, look for Mancera’s Coco Vanilla. The longevity is eternal—you barely need a few sprays. It’s perfect year-round for casual outings.
ADDICTIVE. I love the tiare flower because of the good memories it brings from travels. I also adore Olympea for the same reason. To me, it’s salt, vanilla, coconut, tiare flower, amber, and the scent of the sea. It smells like freedom, love, and holidays. Holidays is a bottle of all that; it represents me. Perfect for a beach honeymoon. How does it smell? Salt, sea, natural vanilla, sunscreen, tiare trees, wood wet by the sea, and a splash of lime. It smells like vacation. I haven’t tried it in summer yet, but for the beach, it must be insane. Few sprays are needed since it’s intense and long-lasting.
ADDICTIVE; I love the tiare flower for the special travel memories it brings. I also love Olympea for the same reason. To me, the salt, the vanilla, the coconut, the tiare flower, the amber, and the sea scent… it smells like freedom, love, and vacations. Holidays is a mix of all that in one bottle; it represents me so much. Perfect for a beach honeymoon. How does it smell? It smells like salt, sea, a natural vanilla sunscreen, tiare trees, wood pieces soaked in seawater, and a lime and lemon refresher. Holidays smells like vacations. I haven’t tried it in summer yet, but for a beach stroll, it must be crazy. Yes, a few sprays only, as it is intense and long-lasting.
It doesn’t smell like the beach or anything like that to me; it smells like creamy vanilla with hints of coconut, which reminds me of some sunscreens but in an intense way, nothing light or fresh. In my perception, it’s a fragrance leaning towards the feminine side, and it has something that tires my nose. Its use could be perfect for cooler days, not too hot, because it’s not fresh; it’s heavy.
It doesn’t smell like the beach or anything; it smells like creamy vanilla with hints of coconut, reminiscent of some intense bronzer, nothing light or fresh. It’s a fragrance leaning feminine, with something that tires my olfactory senses. Its use is perfect for cold or not-too-hot days, as it’s not fresh; it’s heavy.
At first, the marine notes are very noticeable and can make the perfume feel a bit masculine, but once it dries down, it’s absolutely spectacular: it becomes feminine and very sweet with a mix of coconut, tiare, and vanilla that drives me crazy. And it lasts, lasts, and lasts! On skin, about 24 hours, and on clothes, for days.
I love the salt note in perfumes! I love Dior’s Jadore In Joy, but it doesn’t last more than 2 hours, and Olympea by Paco Rabanne is currently the longest-lasting for me (4 hours). Of course, they all have differences. I expected more from Holidays regarding the scent; I thought it would be intense and sweet, but it’s the lightest of the three. In terms of trail and fixation, it only lasts 3 hours, so my favorite remains Olympea (also the sweetest). I still consider buying Holidays, but its poor value for money is holding me back.
I started testing niche perfumes because people say they’re better than designer ones. I tried Velvet Vanilla and Holidays, and I didn’t like them; they smell like ‘old lady’ perfumes, like Avon. For such a high price, I’d never spend that money to smell like a grandmother. That’s over, but I hope to keep searching for my perfect scent because these just smell too matronly.
What a surprise this fragrance is! It just dethroned my beloved Coco Vanille from the same house. While they follow the same vibe, the coconut here is much more subtle, which I appreciate because Holidays doesn’t cloy like Coco Vanille does. I find a lot of similarity to my Olympea by Paco Rabanne; although the salt is more pronounced in Olympea, they share the same style. They are similar but not identical; a trained nose can easily spot the differences. In terms of longevity and performance, it’s a Mancera: oily, great fixatives, and a trail that comes and goes. It’s declared unisex, but I wouldn’t wear it as a man; however, if it intoxicates you, go for it. To me, it smells less like sunscreen and more like vacations, summer, and happiness. I wear it on summer evenings/nights, strolling the seaside with a tan and a flowing dress. It’s not an ode to elegance, but to the charm of this season. It’s my first review on Fragrantica for this wonder. My perfumery family is immense, focused on niche. My Mancera family has five fragrances, and I don’t rule out buying more. Greetings and scented hugs!
On my skin, coconut, vanilla, and tiare flower stand out, each very distinct. The musk gives it a slightly powdery feel. It’s a sweet fragrance with floral notes that harmonize perfectly. It has a moderate trail but incredible longevity.
I love the Coco note, and Mancera has it all. I’ve built a great collection of bottles and samples. Eventually, I had to part with one of my three favorites (Intense Tiare, Coco Vanille, and Holidays) because, while they are similar, Holidays just gets old on me. The Coco is simple; I’m a lover of sweet and floral scents, which I get from Coco Vanilla and Intense Tiare. Holidays smells like sticky, aggressive sunscreen: I only detect coconut, tiare, a bit of ylang-ylang, and a marine note, with no vanilla or sweetness.
Solar protection with sea water vibes. Very sophisticated; I absolutely adore it on my partner during the summer months.
It’s a masterpiece whenever you’re looking for fragrances with that summery, beachy touch, ‘on my skin and my nose.’ It works exquisitely: an elegant coconut with soft vanilla, nothing cloying. The tiaré flower and ylang-ylang are constantly present, and by the hour, I appreciate a woody sandalwood that is a delight. The marine or solar notes finish it with a salty wood touch. In short, for me, it’s a masterpiece of its kind; it reminds me of the old Blanc le Soleil by Tom Ford before Estée Lauder reformulated it poorly. My surroundings adore when I wear it, and compliments are constant at gatherings. The only thing is that on my skin it lasts less than other Pierre Montale scents: it lasts many hours close to the skin, but it doesn’t project as much as other scents from the house tend to.

The only downside: on my skin, it has less projection and longevity than other Montales, but it lasts many hours close to the skin.
What a great fragrance! Sunny day, all relax, turquoise beach, and a glass of coconut water in hand = Holidays. Elegant and relaxing. Exceptional performance. For personal enjoyment and for everyone around you.
I have to say it doesn’t resemble my beloved but cloying Coco Vanille (which smells more like caramel). It lacks that sunscreen vibe, white florals, or so much vanilla or coconut, though I do sense more ylang-ylang. It’s sweet, but Holidays is more aquatic, woody, and salty; it smells more like skin bathed by the sea than cream. I like it for its blue, marine touch; it’s more versatile and youthful. I love it on a man’s skin; my partner wears it and I find it sexy, relaxed, yet elegant and distinctive. It’s a pleasant, beautiful aroma that doesn’t get cloying. I don’t have anything in my collection that compares to it; it doesn’t perform as much as Coco Vanille (that one is a beast), but it’s Mancera and there’s good performance. A good perfume for all seasons. Edit: I like it more and more, always feel like using it. It’s sweet, woody, marine, a little salty (soft), clean, versatile, and sexy.
It doesn’t resemble my beloved Coco Vanille (which smells like caramel). Here, there’s less sunscreen, white florals, vanilla, or coconut; instead, the ylang-ylang stands out. It’s sweet yet aquatic, woody, and salty, smelling like skin bathed by the sea—less creamy. I love its blue, marine vibe; it’s more versatile and youthful. On my partner, it reads as sexy, relaxed, and elegant. It’s not cloying, and I have nothing like it in my collection. It doesn’t last as long as the other (that one is a beast), but for Mancera, the performance is good. A great perfume for all seasons. Update: I like it more and more; I always want to wear it. It’s sweet, woody, marine, softly salty, clean, versatile, and sexy.
Salty and sweet: coconut and beach sand. Unfortunately for me, that means it probably contains calone and sends me straight to headache city. But I think this will make you happy if you’re looking for something that smells like coconut, saltwater, and sandy skin, nothing more.
It’s a fragrance where the sweet and salty contrast is perfectly balanced. On one hand, it’s marine, with that salty touch that lingers on the skin after a bath, and on the other, the sweetness of creamy coconut mixed with vanilla and exotic flowers like ylang-ylang and tiaré. On my skin, it doesn’t have great projection, being moderate, but it has huge longevity; I feel like I’m wearing it for 10 to 12 long hours. It gets magnified a lot in the heat.
It’s a fragrance where the sweet and salty contrast is perfectly balanced. On one hand, it’s marine, with that salty touch left after a bath; on the other, the sweetness of creamy coconut combined with vanilla and exotic flowers like ylang-ylang and tiare. On my skin, the projection isn’t huge—it’s moderate—but the longevity is massive; I feel it for 10 to 12 hours. It magnifies significantly in the heat.
I love it! Creamy but not too much, summery and almost tropical, like it carries fruit. I disagree with those who call it ‘sunscreen.’ Compared to Intense Tiaré, they have nothing in common: that one smells like pure synthetic tiaré, but Holidays is more changeable and sophisticated, thanks to the marine notes that balance it perfectly. My first Mancera perfume and nothing to be disappointed about, with 10/10 longevity and sillage.
A special perfume for spring and summer. Be careful with extreme heat because Mancera can get cloying and give you a headache; I use it in tropical Brazil and it worked wonderfully—formidable longevity and projection. At first, it smells like vanilla, floral, and citrus, but as it dries down, vanilla and coconut take the lead. In normal climates like Chile’s, it lasts easily 12 hours with 1 meter projection for 4 hours. In tropical heat, it drops to 7-8 hours but maintains good projection of 2 meters for 2-3 hours, and on clothes it lasts days, even after washing. I recommend it blindly: a woman will buy it instantly, and a man will eventually come to love it. It’s for going to the beach, not to go unnoticed and wait for compliments.
I’ve been testing this perfume for months and really like it. I’ve worn it in temperatures over 40 degrees and milder days. I think I enjoy it most in milder weather because the sweetness, while moderate, feels excessive in the heat. But among creamy, sweet coconut perfumes, this is easier to wear thanks to the salty marine notes that prevent it from getting cloying. It’s simpler than Coco Vanille, which is much more intense and sweet. For my tastes, I definitely stick with this one.
What an incredible mix of vanilla and water! This summer has become my favorite: sweet yet fresh, hard to define. If you like Montblanc Signature, this is on the same wavelength—it’s not a clone, but it vibrates the same way. Mancera never fails with vanillas; it smells super good, feminine, clean, and fresh. Wearing it makes me feel like I’m on vacation at the beach and instantly puts me in a good mood. Longevity is good, not a beast, but it beats the average, lasting about 6-7 hours.
Sounds very similar to Kenzo Marine 2023 because of that sharp ylang-ylang both share, but this adds coconut and a sweetness that hits hard at first before calming down. Great longevity and sillage.
