Mon Guerlain by Guerlain is a woody oriental fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk. • When I discovered it, it stood out among all the perfumes I was smelling that day (I hadn’t smelled many in a long time, so there were a lot to choose from), and when I reached it, it was 💗💗💗🎉🎉🎉 the most special thing I had smelled in a long time. Soft yet intense, vanilla-sweet but very well balanced with lavender, iris, and tonka bean..🙌 I also really like the Intense version; I don’t know which of the two is better because they are almost identical for real. Definitely one of my favorites ✨

  • I discovered this beautiful perfume just a few days ago, and it completely conquered me. What a delicate aroma, what quality and balance in the notes, and how well-made it is. It literally gives me PEACE every time I wear it. It’s a perfume I associate with moments of serenity; it makes you feel good and at ease with the world. I apply it before bed, after my shower, when I wake up… all hours of the day. Surely this calm is evoked by the lavender and vanilla, both of which are incredibly refined. The citrus is present but very subtle. Everything is just right; it’s superior quality, an exquisite scent. Although they don’t look alike, it reminds me of Shalimar (my favorite) due to the perfect combination of citrus notes and that delicate vanilla Guerlain uses in both. The only downside is its longevity and projection, which are scarce on my skin, although honestly, my pH doesn’t retain anything. Since I use it for my personal enjoyment, it doesn’t matter to me; in fact, if it were more potent, it would break the delicacy and tenderness of Mon Guerlain. There are no harsh notes here, and no perfume has ever made me feel better than Mon Guerlain, and that outweighs any drawback.

I love this perfume. I bought it a bit skeptically, but I’m now head over heels. It’s a treat; I enjoy it most after a hectic day. I put it on my pillow and wrists; it’s one of the most beautiful, calming, and delicious things. IT MAKES ME FEEL IN GLORY; I don’t even need valerian anymore, seriously, it’s UNBEATABLE! I don’t want you to think it’s only for sleeping; you can wear this little perfume anytime, and I feel clean, clear-headed, and happy. I LOVE IT; I’m waiting for the Intense version to arrive because I’m obsessed with it.

  • I tried it a long time ago and remember it didn’t disgust me, probably because it’s potent and I like scents that last, but I tried it again and didn’t like it at all. When I asked my boyfriend what he thought, he said it smelled like petroleum to him. And yes, it started smelling like plastic to me too. I’ve since read reviews saying the same about the plastic smell, so there must be some truth to it… Personally, I don’t like it.

  • It’s very versatile; the lavender is delicious and evolves differently depending on the weather (for real). In the heat, the lavender and citrus notes kick in, and when I got home, my husband scolded me for smelling like a man’s perfume, haha. In contrast, in the cold, it feels like a creamy, vanilla-lavender scent, which earned me compliments from my husband, haha. It was funny telling him it was the same perfume. It’s very long-lasting; it lasts all day on me.

  • Mon Guerlain EDP is an absolute beauty, dominant and unique, feminine to the limit. It’s not a pink or delicate perfume; it commands attention. The notes I perceive most are lavender (ultra-feminine), iris, and vanilla, making it creamy, weighted, evolving throughout the day, and extremely delightful. I love it; I chose it among many because it was overwhelming. A great gift for a woman; I don’t think it has a defined age, but women over thirty will love it without remedy. The bottle is classic; its elegance lies in simplicity. Regarding performance, it’s excellent: eight hours of fixation on skin and all day on clothes, projecting beyond the arm; if you wear it on your coat, you can still smell it a week later. It’s expensive in Mexico, but it’s worth it. Who will like it: lovers of sophisticated perfumes.

  • I want to start by saying I chose this scent for my wedding. It’s simply a very special aroma that, from my point of view, conveys security and delicacy. These adjectives might sound contradictory, but that’s exactly what Mon Guerlain communicates to me. That blend of imposing lavender and the brand’s unique femininity contrasts and, at the same time, fuses to create a unique character in women’s perfumery. A true artistic jewel. Performance is more than acceptable, above average. I consider it unisex because of the lavender, but leaning more feminine; I think it should smell delicious on a man too. I’ll test it on my husband and let you know.

What a delicious perfume! My husband loves it. I enjoy it so much on rainy days; the sweetness it leaves is so rich and huggable. I invite you to try it 🙂

  • How come it doesn’t work for some people? I absolutely love it 😍. It’s my queen fragrance for autumn and winter, so pleasant, refined, and cozy. As YouTuber Kari says, it’s the perfume to put on love letters; it’s sweet because there’s no better way to describe it. Great projection and longevity, 100% feminine.

  • MarinaEtoile

I never thought I’d like a lavender perfume, maybe because I perceive it as masculine, but without a doubt, it’s a perfumery masterpiece: they managed to put it in perfect balance with the iris, vanilla, and woods. It’s not a beast in projection, but it’s noticeable at a short distance. In the end, it leaves a slightly powdery trail. Would I buy it again? Absolutely.

  • Mon Guerlain is an elegant aroma with sweet undertones, despite having a quite noticeable lavender. Years ago, I recommended it to someone who was switching away from DG Femme due to the reformulation (though I must say, I still think that perfume is sensational). Although they aren’t similar, both inspire a similar type of woman in me: elegant and classic, but not vintage. That woman with her hair up, a blouse, jeans, and minimal jewelry. I was slightly disappointed, though it maintains its launch DNA. I think the current version has a more evident lavender charge in the opening, but its performance is weaker; after four hours, I barely perceive it. Still, it’s a good eau de parfum, a modern floral with that effortless, slightly Parisian touch. In short, if you’re into the ‘clean girl’ trend but want something with more presence, this would be a good daytime option if your style has that elegant French allure. If you’re wearing a floral dress and sneakers, it’s not very appropriate, but that’s just my take. Scent: 7/10, Projection: 7/10, Longevity: 5/10.

  • Mon Guerlain is the perfect example of using a masculine note to create a feminine perfume. Lavender is the protagonist in that floral bouquet; unlike Libre, where the note pushes it toward unisex/masculine, here it elevates the fragrance, making it more delicate and feminine. It’s a floral with a fresh bergamot opening, though I’d say it’s fairly linear. Very versatile: great for the office or a party. It has something refined and minimalist; the vanilla doesn’t make it childish, but sweetens and balances it perfectly, to the point where it’s hard to distinguish the individual notes. I have a decant of the reformulation: moderate sillage and 4-5 hours of longevity. I like it and you could buy it blind if you like florals, but I don’t think I need it in my collection; it’s not quite my style. I tried Sparkling Bouquet and preferred that one; it’s fresher and more summery, though this wins on performance.

  • LAVENDER GOURMAND Wow! Tremendous perfume. The top notes seemed horrible to me; it was hard to enjoy that lavender with bergamot, it felt off. I’d love to smell those opening notes again with fresh ears. Once the first impression passes and it settles, OMG, what a delight. You want to smell it constantly. The base notes are a pleasure and the florals wrap it up perfectly. It’s an intense gourmand, great for winter and for wearing sparingly. Very rich, I even find a subtle laconic touch. I’d buy it alongside Libre Intense for the sweet lavender or with Fleur de Nuit for the floral cushion. The only thing I didn’t like is the longevity: the sillage is incredible for the first two hours, potent, but by four hours it drops significantly and sits close to the skin. I’d love to try it again to appreciate the top notes. For now, I stuck with Libre, but this one has its merits.

  • Yonatanazola

My girlfriend wears this, and wow, it’s the richest women’s perfume I’ve ever smelled. She puts it on in the morning, and at noon, I can still smell it on her neck projecting strongly. Potent, floral, vanilla, an exquisite fragrance that turns gourmand. I love smelling it on my girlfriend; any man would. Buy it, and you’ll thank me later.

  • I never quite connected with this because lavender isn’t my thing, but I admit it’s well-made: the note blends beautifully with the vanilla, coumarin, and patchouli. I gave it several chances; I don’t hate it, but it didn’t click for me, so I sold it. Moderate projection, lasts 6 hours on skin. I recommend it if you like lavender; if not, it might still surprise you.

  • valentinamaass

At first, it smells very soapy, almost bitter, like biting into a bar of soap; the lavender is very noticeable. But after it settles, it becomes exquisite and sweeter without being excessive. It’s clean, sweet, and balanced. Not overly complex, but very rich. An elegant vanilla and a silky lavender.

  • cherrylady

Mmm, no, what a pity. It seemed promising when I tested it on the blotter, but on skin it was another story. I’m wearing it now and… it smells a lot like soap, that old soap my grandmother used. The lavender dominates too much, which I don’t like much anyway. I read someone said it smelled like burnt lavender and IT WAS, it’s a weird lavender I don’t quite understand but reminds me too much of those grandma scents. I’m sorry but no 🙁

  • Goldcherry19

At first, the lavender in Libre was overwhelming, but Mon changes the game: it’s delicate, less invasive, and the vanilla with the flowers balances it out perfectly. I love it for any occasion, even if the longevity is medium to short.

  • VainillaDulce

Mon Guerlain is comforting and elegant, true to the house’s DNA. The lavender doesn’t overwhelm me; it hypnotizes me. It has noticeable but measured sillage and projection; it’s present without shouting. It’s wellness and glamour combined. It opens with a fleeting bergamot, followed by aromatic and spicy lavender that blends into a powdery iris and a feminine rose. The jasmine fades, and in the dry down, sandalwood, tonka bean, and that classic vanilla emerge. A spectacular composition. It’s timeless, perfect with a dress or a tailored suit. On my skin, it lasts over 8 hours: strong sillage for the first couple of hours without being overpowering, then moderate. If you have a classic soul, this is for you.

  • Marielanne

A beautiful perfume, on my skin it has moderate longevity and sillage. Its aroma is delicate and feminine, highlighting the iris, vanilla, and a fine lavender. I like it a lot, it’s elegant and versatile at the same time.

  • Tatianastoattoa

Oh, surprise! This never happened to me with another perfume, but the nausea it caused me with that potent note of lavender and vanilla is indescribable. Somehow, I got a scent of burnt coconut oil, even though it’s not listed. It’s unbearable and it’s a shame because I bought the large bottle, but I don’t see any use for it even as a room spray. 😔 Every pH reacts differently, and although perfumes from this house are incredibly good, like my beloved Aqua de Allegoria Florabloom, this time it wasn’t the case with the famous Mon.

  • Morenalatina35@yahoo.com

I love it, it’s an elegant and captivating scent. Very pleasant to wear. It doesn’t offend anyone.

  • I like it, it’s simple. The lavender doesn’t overpower at all. It feels rich, a good perfume for everyday wear.

  • Seemed promising 🥲 but I don’t perceive any standout notes; they are very soft and almost imperceptible. Also, perhaps with my pH it doesn’t last long, but as soon as I put it on, after a few hours I can’t smell it anymore.

  • Nahuellperfumestexas24

What a beautiful day for everyone participating! MON GUERLAIN is one of my most sophisticated, feminine, and sexy perfumes. Its aroma of lavender, iris, jasmine, and rose plays a key role in giving this jewel that feminine touch. I chose this perfume as a wedding gift for my eldest daughter, and it was a huge success; she still loves it and wears it with the special memory of being the perfume for the most important day. It’s a formal fragrance that can be worn 365 days a year without worrying about the temperature messing it up. Longevity on my skin has been good, over 6 hours, and the price seemed affordable. It’s an ironic perfume from the house GUERLAIN. I highly recommend it. A round of applause to its creators Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk 👏👏. Perfumes and more…Nahuell.

  • Blabbychip94

If there’s a positive, it’s that it has good longevity and a decent sillage despite the hours. Its sweetness isn’t overwhelming but it’s present, and that’s its best quality. That said, I wouldn’t wear it: it’s not unpleasant, but it’s definitely not for me.

  • I love it! It’s elegant, fresh, feminine, and has a mysterious touch. That blend of vanilla and lavender is absolutely divine 🪻. While it’s very elegant and I wouldn’t wear it for super casual occasions, I see it as quite versatile. It could be a signature scent for someone who likes to dress up and look sophisticated. Suitable for any season: cold, heat, sun, or clouds, it adapts to everything. The sillage is moderate, not overpowering but noticeable. Same with longevity; it’s not a beast but lasts its 6 or 7 hours. I want it in my collection forever.

  • Supernova1.1

Sparkly and makes me happy. Just opening the drawer to pick out Mon to wear makes me smile and know everything will be okay. I feel positive, pretty, and cheerful. We all deserve a Mon.

  • An elegant yet very feminine fragrance. It lifts your spirits and feels like a warm hug, especially on cold days. It makes you feel dressed up, adds a chic touch, and lasts for hours. Not the perfume to wear when you’re already feeling a bit under the weather.

  • After all the hype on social media from a contest winner, I finally decided to try it. Definitely not something to buy blind. It smelled like my 85-year-old grandma’s bathroom with a lavender diffuser—it’s nauseating. Maybe it just doesn’t work on my skin, since I see so many people loving it; maybe the problem is me. 🤔 Please try it before buying!

  • Elenperfume

This was my favorite perfume a couple of years ago, and I still love it today. It’s super feminine but not overly sweet. Very elegant and perfect for the office; it works best in mild climates, loses its shine in extreme cold, and can be overpowering in intense heat. It reminds me a bit of Burberry Goddess but with more lavender and greater complexity, feeling slightly more mature in my opinion. Overall, I adore it and would even recommend buying it blind.

  • I don’t dislike it, but I’m not a fan either… It’s decent, and the dry-down is much more pleasant than that sharp lavender opening. It’s comfortable to wear if you don’t overdo the sprays. As I mentioned, I prefer the slightly sweet, toasty dry-down. It’s passable, just not memorable.

  • Top-tier fragrance; the vanilla and lavender are very noticeable, with the vanilla leaning gourmand. I bathe and still smell like this great perfume afterward. It’s very versatile: in the heat, the vanilla really shines, but at night or in winter, the woody and lavender notes stand out more. It’s an easy-to-love scent—I’ve received several compliments in a short time. I highly recommend it for any collection.

  • magucha arg

I bought it expecting vanilla and warmth, but on my skin it’s pure lavender—lavender with woody or metallic undertones. There’s a hint of vanilla, but very subtle. A friend found it sweeter, while I feel it’s unisex. I actually like it; it’s different and people have complimented me wearing it. Maybe I just perceive it as more aromatic.

  • One of my favorite perfumes. What does it smell like? Like a very feminine woman. Floral, warm, and sweet, yet never cloying. It leaves a lasting impression wherever you go. Excellent longevity and projection. The price matches the quality perfectly. Is it for all year? Yes. For a date? Absolutely! For everyday wear? Never. Please, respect that.

  • oliendobonito

Exquisite and elegant perfume, never over the top. Deeply feminine with sophisticated taste. The vanilla-lavender blend is masterful: a refined vanilla, not cloying or dessert-like, balanced by the calming freshness of lavender. The result is a serene, enveloping scent perfect for any occasion. It lingers on clothes for hours and feels almost therapeutic—bringing calm, peace, and inner harmony while projecting natural elegance.

  • I don’t get the hype around this perfume; I didn’t like it. It smells off, probably because of the lavender, iris, and licorice combo, which felt completely unnecessary to me. Honestly, just didn’t like it. I’ll save it for winter to see if my perception changes, but for now, it’s a definite no. The good news is I only bought a decant to test it out.
