  • Oh my gosh! The longevity is incredible and the price is great, but it’s suffocating and gives me a headache. I tested it in the middle of winter to see who dared to wear 40 degrees, and the answer is: nobody.

  • rarepearl

On my skin, the flowers (ylang-ylang and tiaré) come out more than the rest. It smells like that summer flower, the night-blooming cereus, and beach sunscreen. The trail and sillage are very convincing, and the price is affordable.

  • I gave this to a friend who absolutely loves it because I bought it and can’t stand it: it’s way too sweet and cloying, definitely not for me.

  • I gifted this to a friend who absolutely loves it; I bought it for myself and can’t stand it. It’s too sweet, cloying, and definitely not for me.

  • A very cheap fragrance that smells great. It’s simple and very informal (I’m not looking for sophistication), but the tiaré flower really stands out. On my skin, the coconut turns soft—nothing like the typical ‘monoï oil’ vibe, but rather soft Polynesian gardenias. It’s like a tropical getaway for those rest days. Medium trail and longevity.

  • It’s gorgeous and for the price, there’s nothing to ask for. It reminds me of Guerlain’s Terracotta, but this Yves Rocher one is a thousand times better; it smells prettier, like pure coconut, and its longevity is incredible. At first, it can be a bit overwhelming—it’s very strong and sweet—but then it settles into a beautiful aroma. Perfect for summer nights, the beach, or vacations. Sometimes it smells like those flowers that only open at night. If you like tiaré, ylang-ylang, and coconut, this is your perfume.

  • Mademoiselle

Starts with flowers, but on my skin, vanilla is the absolute queen; coconut adds a touch and the flowers provide support without being invisible. It’s a super sweet and natural scent that embraces you and puts you in a good mood. Perfect for summer, it leaves a medium trail and lasts about 10 hours. Top quality for a price that doesn’t hurt.

  • Aroma de Flor

A few days ago I received this fragrance as a gift. I applied a little on my skin and SURPRISE! It smells good, like tropical flowers and the beach. You can smell the ylang-ylang and the tiare flower that lingers on the skin. I don’t perceive the coconut; I thought it would smell like bronzer based on the reviews, but not at all, it has a very summery aroma. Affordable perfume, fresh scent, but without much longevity.

  • Something weird happened with this perfume. I had it a couple of years ago and at first I loved it for summer, it smelled 100% tropical beach. Then I don’t know why it started to bother me a lot and I struggled to finish it. In the end, I remember that even smelling it made my stomach turn. It truly smells good, but I became incompatible with a certain note, maybe the coconut…

  • Perfect for summer, feeling it on the skin and imagining lying in the sun. To me, it smells like Hawaiian Tropic coconut sunscreen. It’s cheap and lasts a long time on the skin.

  • Perfect for hot days; you put it on and imagine yourself lounging in the sun. To me, it smells like a coconut Hawaiian Tropic lotion. It’s cheap and lasts forever on the skin.

  • Natalylopez

This fragrance smells exactly like the entire Monoi body collection (sunscreen, shower gel, etc.). It smells heavily of tiare flowers macerated in coconut oil and lasts a long time on the skin and clothes. A very tropical and paradisiacal aroma.

  • VainillaDulce

Monoi is pure summer beach vibes—sun and waves. It smells like tiare and coconut with a hint of vanilla, like you’ve got sunscreen on. I like it, but like most of Yves Rocher’s stuff, it fades quickly and doesn’t project much.

  • VainillaDulce

Monoi embodies a summer day sunbathing on the beach with the sound of the sea. It smells like tiare flower with lots of coconut and a bit of vanilla, with that bronzer vibe. I like it, but like most Yves Rocher fragrances, it lasts very little and its projection is soft.

  • Smells like tiare flower and lasts a ton. In my case, I see it more as a spring fragrance than a summer one; in fact, I could use it in winter. I like it in summer or spring because it reminds me of certain bronzers, but in itself, it’s a bold and long-lasting scent, nothing refreshing. It has nothing to envy perfumes that claim to last long. For me, good, beautiful, and cheap.

  • sweetmarycandy

Rich and surprisingly long-lasting aroma on my skin. Smells like bronzing products with that typical coconut scent but with tiare notes and a subtle vanilla. It’s sweet but not cloying. Of this type of sweet summer perfumes, I stick with Sunset Honolulu by Taï & Jon, but I haven’t found it here. Monoi is a good summer bet from Yves Rocher for lovers of sweet scents, although I think it wouldn’t be out of place in winter either thanks to its notes.

  • Casablanca77

Monoi Eau de Vanilles is a simple fragrance with great performance. Perfect for sunny beach vacations, it’s a true pleasure. Its very natural notes show a luminous tiare flower, and over time, a sweet coconut accompanied by that exotic tiare jasmine that invites relaxation and fun. Very well made. On my skin, the flowers fix and last hours, one of the best trails from this house, except for Come une Évidence. Totally for summer, I adore these clean exotic fragrances with that comforting sweet touch of bronzed skin. It doesn’t replace Guerlain’s Terracotta, which is more elegant, but it has nothing to envy; it more than fulfills its function for good weather with its coconut touch, and for 16 euros today, you can’t find many like this.

  • saukimoon

I love tiare flowers in general, but I had to gift this one away. I like it, but I find it too strong and suffocating. Although it reminds me of bronzer, I can’t wear it in the middle of summer, only in spring before the heat rises. For Yves Rocher, it lasts well on the skin and projects to people around you. What a pity I didn’t enjoy it more and that it wasn’t softer or more coconutty; I’d recommend it 100%, ideal for open spaces.

  • I spent the whole summer looking for something fresh and finally found this eau de toilette. It moves away from the typical lemon or watermelon scents, and I don’t want to smell anything else now. As others say, it smells like Night Blooming Jasmine—those flowers bring back childhood vacation memories. It’s not a complex perfume, but the floral blend is excellent and makes you feel feminine and sensual. The longevity isn’t as intense as in other reviews, but maybe that’s due to Madrid’s dry climate.

  • One of my favorite fragrances this summer for casual everyday wear. I bought it for the good reviews and the affordable price. It smells very sweet, like vanilla with hints of coconut and tiare. I love wearing it. The opening is potent and leaves a nice trail for 1-2 hours, but it doesn’t last longer on my skin, so I probably won’t buy it again. Scent 7/10, longevity 6/10, trail 7/10, value 7/10, versatility 5/10, packaging 5/10. Would I buy again? No.

  • La plus belle

It’s the dupe of Guerlain’s Terracotta but in a low-cost version. A bit lighter, but almost identical. If I have to choose between the two, I’ll stick with Terracotta.

  • lauraaaaa86

I like it a lot! But in summer, it gets too strong for me. I’ll try it in spring to see how it goes, because smelling good is smelling good. I think the jasmine is very noticeable.

  • I like it a lot since I use the same brand’s dry oil several summers and it smells identical. I like the perfume, but like most, it doesn’t last long on my skin.

  • Very sweet and tropical, smells like tiare flower. Quite persistent, perfect for summer, and even better at night.

  • charlotinable

I’ve used the tropical body oil for years, and this eau de toilette is the perfect complement to extend the fragrance. I only detect coconut and tiare flower; the vanilla and ylang-ylang are very far away. I just bought it and already I’m thinking about the next bottle. Soft, elegant, and ideal for the heat.

  • Maria Teresa

Very summery and beachy, but the trail is weak; sometimes it’s barely noticeable. It smells like bronzer with monoi oil, and the tiare is barely there. For the price, it’s decent, but nothing extraordinary.

  • I bought it blindly a year ago and couldn’t handle it; that penetrating sunscreen scent was too much. I put it away, and today, while organizing my perfumes, I tried it again… and my nose has changed. Now I love it; its sweetness and the floral notes I didn’t notice before are amazing. I’ve changed my mind; it’s an excellent alternative for summer days.

  • I bought it blindly over a year ago and almost had a panic attack from that penetrating bronzer scent. I put it away, and today, with a changed nose, I tried it again and loved it. Now I notice its sweetness and the floral notes I ignored before. It’s a great summer alternative.

  • I’ve worn this for 7 years. The journey has been love, hate, and now total enjoyment. It hasn’t turned ugly or bitter; the vanilla has gained power and sweetness. It smells less like bronzer now and more like talcum powder. I love using it to sweeten other perfumes in layering.
