So this is what happens when liquor manufacturers make perfumes. They want to turn us all into scented alcoholics. For me, there are few niche brands that hit as many notes as Kilian. In general, I think Angel’s Share is notable, more than I thought and more than I expected. It starts as the great gourmand you expect: a big and exuberant slap of cognac, praline, wood, vanilla, and cinnamon in an amplified version. Here you don’t enjoy a glass; the whole bottle is in your hands. And as it develops, this divine liquor note stands out even more, and this sweet paste remains, which I also perceive in the projection. The scent is sweet and alcoholic; you have to like that duo to appreciate it in its entirety. The cinnamon hits the tone insistently in the heart phase and is noticeable as it mixes with the base duo of praline and vanilla, while sandalwood and oak are somewhat weak secondary notes. The overall scent is quite sweet but never too much. In the final phase, a hint of cinnamon and apple pie remains, conveying a soft, spiced warmth. Angel’s Share isn’t a heavyweight, despite having good projection for almost three hours. Longevity and sillage are only slightly above average in my case. An interesting proposal for winter, if your wallet agrees.

I ordered testers, and honestly, I’ve tried it several days and nothing… it’s not heavy on the trail, barely lingers on my skin, and it’s one of those perfumes where you have to press your nose against the skin to find it. What a letdown…

  • ViceCity990

Honestly, I didn’t like it. It has a very marked and piercing cinnamon note that I absolutely hate. But I have to admit that the dry down (when it’s perceptible only up close to the skin) is exquisite. You can feel the vanilla and tonka. For an intimate encounter, I wouldn’t think it’s crazy to apply this perfume about 5 hours before.

  • Addictive. I have an absurd obsession with this fragrance. I was able to try it in the Kilian 5-sample pack a while ago, a pack I bought because of the hype around Black Phantom, so Angel’s Share wasn’t even the main target. But days passed, and that scent got completely stuck in my head, which didn’t happen with its companions. One night, I sprayed it on with 5 sprays and went to pick up my girlfriend in the car; when she entered, her first reaction left a mark on me. After turning around at me with confusion, she persistently asked what perfume I was wearing; it smelled wonderful. I didn’t know what to say, and a while later she asked again, already annoyed. I think I’ve never experienced something so exaggerated with a perfume. Angel’s Share has that magical aura… It’s a perfume that can go unnoticed at first, but it gets stamped in the mind; that sweet and alcoholic scent creates a genuinely seductive aura around you. Definitely my next purchase.

  • It’s a pity that sometimes viral success creates a massive wave of devotion, only to realize later that it wasn’t worth it. A small disappointment that confirms that, among Kilian’s great perfumes, this isn’t one of them. It’s pleasant, easy… it reminds me a bit of Burberry Black, which is very trendy, for that slightly sweet freshness the brandy adds, very toned down and oxygenated so it doesn’t come across as too intense. It’s a gift perfume for a committed situation because it has all the parameters very balanced and correct; it has nothing to risk. It’s a nice scent, like Gabrielle or Tous, that will never bother anyone; it’s that person who never breaks a plate or expresses opinions that fall outside a very consensus-driven framework. A generic scent, with a touch of light freshness and cheerfulness, somewhat blurred, so it’s impossible to dislike… but is that enough for a perfume?

  • A delight, but only in very cold weather. Angel’s Share is a great perfume; although it’s unisex, I feel it’s more feminine than, for example, Black Phantom (perhaps because of cognac versus rum in the liquor note). The quality is noticeable and enjoyable once worn, but watch out: it’s for extremely cold days or nights. It’s strong and invasive, eternal on skin and clothes, needless to say. I feel it’s perfect for a night out dining by the fireplace. To me, it seems more like a perfume to enjoy for oneself, more intimate than something to wear everywhere. I think it will be a permanent part of my collection.

  • Kellyperfumlover

I fell horribly in love with this perfume. It’s warm, sweet, and delicious. I smell the cognac only at the start, then there’s that spiced, vanilla-sweet dry down. It’s a total pleasure for the senses; this is a beast of a perfume.

  • The first time I smelled it, I didn’t like it at all; the cognac note was so harsh that it turned me off. A few months later, something told me to revisit it, and I was pleasantly surprised. The opening definitely smells like cognac, which is obvious, but when worn on skin (a mistake I made the first time, smelling it only on a blotter), it adapts very well, and I’ve started to notice those gourmand notes mixed with that “alcoholic” cognac tone. I’ve liked it quite a bit; it’s after an hour that it softens a bit, and that’s when I fully appreciate the hype around this perfume. Very tasty.

  • There’s a lot to say about this perfume, but the truth is, you absolutely have to try it. It could become one of your favorites; when I first smelled it, I was completely head over heels and couldn’t stop sniffing it. I fell so in love that I had to buy it that same day. Its scent is intoxicating, original, unique, and addictive. The combination of notes makes it perfect; I love it, and it’s absolutely worth having. It makes me happy; it’s one of those scents that takes you to a state of bliss.

  • It’s the fragrance that takes home the grand prize. Potent, long-lasting, and with projection out of this world; it leaves a rich trail that gets compliments after just two or three sprays. It lasts all day. It’s a serious, solemn, and classy perfume. If you’re looking for pure elegance and beauty, this is it.

  • Dama Incognita

It’s a delicious gourmand and boozy scent. To my nose, the notes that stand out the most are the cognac, cinnamon, praline, and oak, very well combined. Plus, it has a powerful trail and longevity, which denotes the quality of its ingredients.

  • Boring to no end. The worst of the liquor collection in my opinion. A perfume inflated by marketing and ‘influencers.’ Try L’Heure Verte and you’ll discover a genuine, ultra-high-quality scent; don’t follow trends, discover it yourself 😉

  • I knew the name Kilian but not this perfume until I smelled it on a trip to Edinburgh. I liked it but moved on, imagining the price, until my sister pushed me to buy it. I feel like I took a while to get it, but after two months, it’s absolutely crazy. I have no words for how much I love it and how painful it is to have so few occasions to wear it. So I bought a near-identical Arab dupe: Kismet Angel. Yes, I compare them, and they are identical, but this one has less strength and a honey note that makes it sweeter. When it runs out, I’ll buy the Angel Share refill no matter the cost.

  • A charming cognac opening that dries down into spices, chocolate, vanilla, and woods. It gives a slight apple pie vibe, but upon drying, there’s something unpleasant I can’t pinpoint; I think it has to do with the cinnamon mixed with praline. It’s a good basic boozy fragrance for beginners or for trying out the Kilian house. There are better ones, but I think this is where most people start, with above-average performance.

Angel’s Share by Killian: A big, refined, glamorous, exclusive, and delicate gourmand. It’s like a luxury dessert, straight to the point: high quality, exotic, and exclusive. It’s sweet and boozy with a subtle, delicious apple note. Definitely for cold weather; I think it’s totally feminine, a must for a classy, stylish, and confident woman. I’m not saying men can’t wear it, but in my opinion, it’s 100% feminine. It’s not for daily wear, but for special occasions. I loved its dry down. Scent: 10. Projection: good, about 2 hours. Longevity: 8 to 10 hours. Recommended.

  • On my skin, the liquor and cinnamon concentrate. I’ve never been a fan of boozy perfumes, but I like this one; it’s rich yet simple, like a spice cake loaded with cinnamon and liquor. I won’t deny that I like it, but it lacks complexity, which I add with other perfumes. I’ve owned five bottles because it’s the base of almost all my nighttime layering. It lasts and projects. To me, it leans more feminine than unisex, but everyone wears what they want.

  • Mitafragance

I wanted to believe I could replace this fragrance with one of its cheaper inspirations. But to my dismay, I was gifted a split, and having a few milliliters to test at my leisure, I’ve fallen in love with this juice and nothing else like it. When it runs out, I need a bottle. It’s gorgeous.

  • looking4fragance

It’s too pleasant of a perfume. It’s not overpowering but lasts forever, and its trail projects beautifully. If I had to compare it to something ‘everyone knows,’ to my nose, it smells like baked apples.

  • KRATOSGAMER666

It’s crazy how alcoholic a perfume can get, haha. It hasn’t disappointed me; I had no expectations since I hadn’t seen any reviews, but I assure you they won’t regret trying this winter/autumn wonder. The opening is what stands out the most with its cognac present for a not very long time (unfortunately), but afterward, cinnamon and vanilla along with praline take the lead. As for performance, it was noticeable at 2 meters with just one spray on the wrist; it’s really very potent. Its longevity is easily around 12 hours, projecting about 4 feet. For me, the price is a bit high, but it has exceptional quality within perfumery, especially given the longevity. A wonder without a doubt. Recommended for a special occasion, like a date, etc. I don’t recommend it for daily use unless you apply one or two sprays, as it’s really a beast. That said, it’s a completely unisex scent, tending in my opinion to be more feminine. Trail: 10/10, Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 10/10.

  • nadiarose

Love at first sight. After just one spray, it became one of my favorites. That bohemian, refined, and classic touch keeps me hooked. The tonka bean, cognac, and oak are very noticeable; it’s a powerful, unique scent that leaves me with the best feelings.

  • Rickelmer

I’ve wanted to try this Angels’ Share fragrance by By Kilian for a long time. It didn’t disappoint me, but it didn’t go crazy either. It’s a sweet fragrance, a bit alcoholic; I would have liked the cognac note to be more predominant and for there to be a pleasant praline note. From there on, it’s a fragrance that will get you many compliments from women, since they love the sweet stuff, with decent longevity. But considering the price, I think there are other fragrances that fulfill the same purpose equally. So if I were to buy it again, I wouldn’t. It’s a good fragrance, yes, but not for what it’s priced at.

  • Beautiful, creamy, persistent, and very sensual creation. The vanilla and tonka notes are very present, making it sweet; it reminds me of Tobacco Vanille by Ford. Super unisex. It lasts forever on clothes.

  • For gourmand lovers, for the sweet until it borders on cloying (without dismissing it, it’s a reality). But with an opening that, in my opinion, is the best. Many are put off by the opening, but I think it’s quite the opposite. The opening gives it all its charm, making it special and unique. In a gourmand fragrance, it was genius to give it that opening: a bold, innovative, and unique hit of cognac alcohol when Angel’s Share came out. Afterward, many imitated it. It’s an opening you don’t expect, one that leaves you stunned like a shot of alcohol, yet invigorating. After that challenging opening, comes the sweetness, sweet enough to cause diabetes: it smells of praline, cinnamon, caramel, dates, vanilla, tonka bean… and what finishes it off is that touch of almond milk that gives it a bitter and creamy point, absolutely contrasting, that finishes it off perfectly. It’s exquisite. Many have imitated it, but no one has matched it. Special mention to Kamhra by Lataffa. It’s delicious, but the only thing similar to Angel’s Share by Killian is the bottle; the scent has NOTHING to do with it. Stop saying they are dupes. In summary: Do toffee candies have an age? Do they have sex? Yes, but don’t wear this in summer or spring because you could send someone to the ICU. Scent: 9, Longevity: 8, Duration: +8h, Projection: 7.5, Versatility: 5, Price: $$$$ Final Score: 8.8

  • I think it adds nothing. It smells like having pancakes with cream and cinnamon at a bakery in the afternoon. If you’re a man and wear this, you’ll look like a panellet [a type of sweet]; only for very young men looking for a treat. If you’re a man over 40 and wear this, you’ll look ridiculous. Don’t buy blindly. It’s more of a feminine perfume.

  • daniel otal

Non-invasive alcoholic gourmand! It opens with a sweet cognac accompanied by a vanilla that lasts through most of the development. Want more sweetness? It comes with cinnamon and praline that leave a supremely addictive scent. It reminds me a lot of caramel or a very sweet dessert. In my opinion, it’s not overwhelming; it’s warm and tasty, for special occasions, formal events, weddings, and contrasts well in nighttime club environments, preferably in winter. The good: the quality of the scent is noticeable, great performance, and denotes unmatched class and sexiness at the same time, compliments won’t be missing. The not-so-good: its price, plus there are already many dupes, I’m not sure if the bottle is still worth it.

  • I wore it last night. I tried it from a decant and I think it’s a delicious perfume for MEN. Smelling it on a man is very attractive to me. It has a magnificent liqueur opening (it belongs to the ‘The Liquors’ collection, totally accurate). It moves into wood, with warmth and a smoky sweetness, becoming softer and more gourmand. A quality gourmand for autumn or winter nights. It feels dry for women but very nice for men. Nothing overwhelming. Its trail and longevity are decent; I think it’s meant to ‘seduce’ at skin level. It’s not a loud scent, but a delicate halo. Over time, I appreciate the caramel more; it reminds me of ‘Tobacco Vanille’ by Tom Ford, but this one is finer and subtler. Definitely unisex, but every time I bring my wrist to my nose… delicious for a man.

  • Class and elegance, what a cozy fragrance. I always refused to try it because of the hype and because it’s a ‘Beyoncé favorite’… ugh, please not! Until one day I thought: at least I need to know what it smells like and if it’s worth it. I bought a decant… Ugh, I fell in love. It’s a hug of cognac, cinnamon, and wood, a feast of praline, ideal for winter nights, it embraces my soul. Completely unisex with excellent longevity. Divine. Obviously, it’s now in my collection.

  • El Doctorazo

Amazing perfume! Totally unisex, it opens with a delicious cognac. Although it gets quite sweet, it’s addictive. The projection and trail are brutal, like few others on the market. Despite being pricey, it’s totally worth it; no wonder it’s always among the winter favorites. 10/10, highly recommended.

  • Anna Pardo

It totally captivates me. At first, the cognac adds warmth and elegance, very sophisticated. Then, the cinnamon and tonka bean give a spicy yet soft touch, while the oak creates an earthy base that evokes a forest. The best part is that sweet base: vanilla, praline, and caramelized almonds feel like a warm, creamy hug that lasts all day. Perfect for a special night or just to feel good anytime. I love it!

  • At first, those lovely notes of cognac, cinnamon, and tonka bean; after a while, praline starts to emerge, making it something delicious; it would easily be unisex for night wear, though I’d wear it at any time knowing the consequences that brings. I feel I’ve tried similar things, but the closest thing I’ve smelled is Tonka Gold by Atralia, maybe not of the same quality, but the resemblance is great.

  • Angels’ Share by Kilian is an exquisite gourmand fragrance, perhaps one of the best in all of perfumery. It gives us that sensation of boozy apple pie and cinnamon, making you want to eat one of those on a rainy winter afternoon. It is, simply, a true sensory masterpiece. Its character is extremely addictive and seductive, and its performance is excellent, ensuring longevity and projection that make it worth every penny. For any gourmand fan, it’s a must-have in the collection. A true work of art that stands out for quality and impact, 100% recommended.

  • Kilian pulled it out of the stadium with the definitive boozy cinnamon perfume. Pure fantasy; all the imitations are just that, pure fraud. Deep, resolute, with great staying power.

  • Woman in Love

A spicy, dense, and sweet perfume with a clearly perceptible alcoholic note. Very beautiful, especially in the cold, during winter season. Longevity and sillage are excellent.

  • Aishalulunim

I was worried about the cognac note at the beginning, and indeed, at first, that’s all I notice. Soon cinnamon and a slight sweetness appear, but on my skin, the cognac remains the protagonist. It feels dense and heavy. I tried the supposed Zara dupe, but in my opinion, they have nothing to do with each other; that one seems much softer and more balanced. Still, I’d love to smell it on male skin to see if the notes change, but as it works on me, it’s a resounding no. 💔

  • In terms of structure and behavior, it just doesn’t work for me; it’s cloying and tiring… Boozy from start to finish, sweet and spicy. I understand why people like it; the scent isn’t bad, logically. But it’s just too much. Basically, a sweet liquor buzz. That’s it. Nothing discreet; if you want to grab attention, this is the perfect plan. Cold and nights. Bye.

  • Smells like apple pie with cinnamon. It’s an EXTREMELY sweet perfume where you can smell every note, with cognac and cinnamon standing out in my opinion. It’s an ultra-intense scent that fills the room for the first 4-5 hours before fading slightly. A compliment magnet in the right setting that makes a presence for about 7-8 hours. Scent 9.6/10, Longevity 8.5/10, Projection 10/10, Fragrance 9/10. Some won’t like it, but for me, it’s a beast.

  • Monty Phyton

Addictive, cloying, yet pleasing because it doesn’t smell synthetic. I wear it for reading or staying in, and I dislike others smelling it because it mixes with their clothes or sweat, so I also don’t like them smelling it on me; that’s why I’m not comfortable wearing it outside. If I reserve it for myself, it’s pure bliss: my perfume in solitude, my rainy days and couch sessions. I love the warm light of the living room; it gives me the same vibes as ‘Le Baiser du Dragon,’ probably due to the almonds and chocolate with liquor. Comfort and refuge, wooden cabins, Aspen, Andorra, Zermatt. 🕯️ 9.75/10.🔥

  • oliendobonito

It’s a warm, intoxicating, sweet, and spicy perfume that envelops you from the very first moment. It feels incredibly cozy and has excellent longevity, though the price is quite steep. If you’re dying for notes of cognac, cinnamon, and tonka bean with vanilla hints, this is definitely your fragrance. Just don’t buy it blindly: both the cost and its very distinct personality (it’s intense, spicy, and has that ‘boozy’ vibe) require caution.
