  • I love it, especially for spring and summer. It lasts a long time on my skin. I don’t understand how I perceive coconut if it’s not on Fragrantica, but it’s sweet and balanced. The salt is just right and doesn’t smell like sunscreen. Good sillage and longevity. This will be my summer perfume; it smells like the beach and sunshine.

  • Interesting fragrance, not a copy. It lists vanilla, but it’s not the sweet ice cream kind; the sea salt is noticeable and blends with wood and musk. It’s a salty vanilla, like an eclipse of notes. Ideal for spring/summer or Ibiza, evoking parties and festivals. Not for winter. Lasts 4-6 hours with moderate sillage, nothing too strong.

  • When I first applied it, I thought of Olympea, but once it dries down, it smells different. For me, the salt dominates too much and the vanilla gets overshadowed, resulting in something almost unpleasant. It lasts 6-7 hours with moderate sillage. What a pity that with good performance it doesn’t work. I’ll keep trying the rest of the collection. Scent: 5/10, Longevity: 7.5/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value: 6/10, Versatility: 5/10, Packaging: 8.5/10. I won’t be buying it again.

  • Mixing sweet and salty didn’t sound right to me, especially with declared salt, which usually overwhelms me. But the blend is balanced; I detect a coconut that smells like sunscreen. It evokes beach and summer, though sometimes the salt gets tiring since I’m very sensitive.

  • Emorandeira

I love the scent profile: vanilla, salt, and tropical freshness. However, on my skin it’s a complete fiasco. It lasts about 6 hours, but the projection is almost non-existent; it smells like moisturizer stuck to my wrist. A disappointment from the brand: Mercadona’s vanilla projects more than this. Overpriced for what you get. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 7, Projection: 4, Versatility: 8, Originality: 8, Overall: 7.5

  • EDURNE GRIJALBA

Discreet and subtle fragrance, meant to be smelled close up, but no less sexy. A touch of salt, another of vanilla and sandalwood with musk. A suggestive aroma of hot, salty skin, dried in the sun after a swim. And the bottle is a gem; the color creates a gradient from blue to amber, emulating a beach.

The other day someone asked me on Instagram about perfumes to relieve stress, and this is one. It’s magical how it transports you back in time and place. Literally, you’re at the beach; for me, it reminds me of walks back to the cabin, smelling dry seawater over sunscreen, enjoying the sea breeze and cool afternoons, thinking only of vacations and having a good time. Wearing this lifts my mood and gives me energy. It’s become one of my favorites and is in my top 10.

  • camilaeloisa

Personally, I didn’t like it. I bought it because of the reviews since it’s not available here. The opening smells bad, but after an hour it’s more bearable and you can feel the warm vanilla. It seems like a perfume that only smells good on the wearer: very weak trail and 4 hours longevity on my skin. P.S. I’m selling it in Chile, exchanges accepted.

  • Vanilla vibes, but on my skin it’s a hard no. I got it from a tester set, and despite the good reviews, they didn’t lie. The opening smells great and brings back teenage memories, but it fades in minutes. Then it shifts drastically: that salty note mixes with something I can’t identify and smells weird, almost like dirty socks. The trail is moderate and lasted 7-8 hours on me. I had to wash the area, and I could still smell it strongly. If you want to buy it, test it on your skin first; don’t rely just on reviews.

  • djevelhelvete

I absolutely love perfumes with salt, and this is no exception. The notes are simple: vanilla and salt. On my dry skin, it smells like sunscreen at the beach; maybe it reminds me of coconut even though it’s not in the notes.

  • Vanilla Vibes is a lovely summer perfume, absolutely unisex, where the dry-down scent stands out, incredibly pleasant and transporting you to the beach. The bottle and name are spot-on, though I’d say “Beach Vibes” would fit better. It’s good to see that almost all the listed notes are perceived, but you have to stay away if you don’t like vanilla; the benzoin gives it a plasticky or resinous tone that later yields to floral, airy, and salty notes, but the vanilla is dominant. A plus: since it’s for summer, its moderate aura makes it wearable, although it can be difficult for those who don’t like sweet scents. The salt isn’t as noticeable as it seems; it doesn’t smell like salted cod, it’s an accessory but important note that varies the blend, giving it soft, carefree nuances that recall the sea. It’s a perfume you must try, because the combination of salty, musk, and orchid can become strange or strong depending on the skin, becoming unusual without being unpleasant. It has a casual, fun vibe, ideal for summer afternoons and nights. Don’t expect a heavy perfume with huge projection; it’s a personal enjoyment scent that you perceive with a breeze, reminding you that it’s summer and time to relax.

  • I decided to buy a JHAG discovery set because of the positive reviews for vanilla vibes, and honestly, it’s one of the ones I liked the least. It’s not an unpleasant smell, but it smells like sunscreen, so I see it as dispensable.

  • alvarodominguez

It smells plasticky to me with a literal vomit aftertaste at the end. I don’t know what’s going on; I thought I’d like it compared to Replica: Beach Walk (nothing alike) and because I usually like vanilla, but this is horrible. It’s a fairly linear unisex scent, lasts 4-5 hours, and has moderate projection.

  • Finally, I found my summer perfume. I don’t like citrus (with a few exceptions) and have always struggled with summer fragrances that are comfortable enough for daily wear. Since I adore vanilla, I had few options for a wearable vanilla in the heat. Finally, I found it! It has great chemistry with my skin. The sensation is like taking a nice shower in the middle of summer and applying a high-quality sunscreen that smells rich, sexy, and clean. You feel clean and good. Everyone compliments it; it’s the one that has generated the most. In extreme heat, it lasts about 4 hours, but in spring, without reaching 30°, it lasts longer. The trail is moderate. Tip: when I first heard it in winter, I didn’t like it; I found it strange. Its magic starts at 20°.

  • Even though it’s not listed, it smells to me like a creamy blend of coconut and vanilla with a sunscreen vibe. The longevity and trail are excellent—hours and hours, with moderate projection. It’s a flat scent that smells the same at the beginning as it does at the end. I find it rich and summery, but since it’s dense, maybe it’s not for extreme heat. I haven’t bought it because I see it as very feminine; although a man could wear it, I can’t see myself wearing it. That said, highly recommended.

  • LindaDenise

It disappears on me after 2 hours and smells very subtly like sunscreen. I was brutally disappointed with this purchase.

  • Dama Incognita

It’s a peculiar scent. To me, it smells like vanilla ice cream (that salty base), creamy, salty, and with a coconut that isn’t on the list. So I agree with those who notice a creamy coconut and a marine note, like ambergris, giving it a beachy vibe. It’s a soft, pleasant vanilla, though I prefer sweeter ones.

  • I loved this perfume! It has incredible longevity—8 hours on skin and even longer on clothes. I was surprised it held up outdoors in extreme heat without becoming overwhelming or cloying. It’s totally unisex; it smells divine on my husband, and his trail is even stronger. Even though coconut isn’t mentioned in the notes, it’s exactly what stands out most: a creamy coconut with a slight vanilla touch and salty notes.

  • marianiannone@hotmail.com

I absolutely love this perfume 🥰. It doesn’t smell like cloying vanilla; instead, I detect a powerful coconut scent, even though it’s not listed. It’s like sunscreen, but a thousand times better. On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours with a trail, and another 3 hours directly on the skin.🩷🩷🩷

  • Heavy, dense, and long-lasting perfume. Undoubtedly there is vanilla (lots of it) giving body and creaminess to the fragrance. It ends up being quite monotonous and a bit cloying. I don’t recommend buying it blind, not even for the purest lovers of vanilla/cream-sun/room sprays; since the scent becomes coarse and can result in being tedious.

  • Very pleasant, salty vanilla, but the projection and longevity leave much to be desired, what a pity.

  • I highlight the uniqueness of Vanilla Vibes and Holidays by Mancera compared to the rest of similar-themed perfumes. While they share an DNA with some differences, it can be stated that VV and Holidays are quite unique and similar. The difference lies in the inclusion of tiare and ylang-ylang in Holidays, elements that make it even more intense and intoxicating. In fact, its fragrance can become so overwhelming that I had to gift it away due to the nausea it caused me. Vanilla Vibes presents itself as a softer, more delicate version of Holidays. In my opinion, it could be suitable for daily use with little risk of olfactory fatigue.

  • Excessively subtle fragrance for what you’d expect. Pleasant summer scent, highlighting the salt notes and a soft, creamy vanilla with clean and musky nuances. Compared to other perfumes in this style, it falls below the majority in terms of quality, price, longevity, and aroma; in this category, Sel_Vainille by Maison Tahité stands out above all, being denser and more enveloping.

  • This has to be a joke. Not only is the smell nauseating (like a stinky port), but (fortunately) it lasts five seconds and disappears. Just like in gastronomy, in perfumery you also have to know when to stop with the salt, and here they went way overboard. The musk in this perfume is terrifying, and if you add synthetic vanilla to that… Honestly, as I read in some reviews here, it has a vomit-like vibe. I’ve only felt this sense of disbelief with another perfume, Missing Person by Phlur, which literally smells like sweaty t-shirts. I don’t know if I lack olfactory refinement or if the emperor is truly naked and no one dares to say it.

  • luxthesailor

I LOVE IT! The vanilla with cream and coconut is delicious… with a touch of salt, not cloying at all, very tropical. I feel like I’m at the beach when I apply it. Yes, at first it smells like sunscreen, but not just any sunscreen, but a high-quality one. As the hours pass, the vanilla becomes more noticeable and the salty note fades. That’s when it has a subtle resemblance to Soleil Blanc… careful, it’s a SUBTLE resemblance.

  • MissPennyLane

Updating my opinion after a year with this perfume. I used it sparingly and let it rest for over 10 months. Yesterday I wore it, and it was a great experience, better than when it was new. It’s a salt perfume; it smells like salt. From a distance and in the dry-down, there’s a hint of vanilla; when you wear it, you relive those moments after a day at the beach. It smells like sea salt. A touch of cleanliness and freshness, but mostly salt. Very pretty, though not very long-lasting.

  • adriGuevara

Something weird happens to me: I can’t smell it. Throughout the day, I catch a faint sensation of a summer aura that wraps around me, but I don’t recognize it as a perfume. I’ve given it chances, tested it on damp skin. I don’t know if others experience this; I was so excited but still haven’t found its charm. I’ve been using it for less than a week. Edit: After more than a month of use, it’s great for layering, especially with light green perfumes, even aldehydic ones, giving them body and creaminess. But it still lacks its own personality, probably due to my skin’s pH. Not for blind buys.

  • The opening smells like greasy vanilla, like old popcorn, but then it evolves into something subtle and fresh, perfect for the beach. Is it worth the price, or is it for people who expect more from a niche brand? NO.

  • Well, the vanilla you feel isn’t the sweet edible kind; I think it’s because of the salt that you notice it upon spraying. But it still brings to mind sunscreen, beach, summer. It’s a subtle fragrance; it doesn’t have much projection or longevity as is usual with this brand. If you like vanilla, I think there are other good and more affordable options.

  • DaviniaTolkien

I’m not sure what to think about this perfume. I tried it today at Sephora and expected a bit more… it’s too aquatic for my nose. I don’t know why they compare it to Beach Walk and Alien Goddess; I have both, and while I’m not a fan of the M. Margiela one, it doesn’t lack soul like Vanilla Vibes does. Yes, you can feel that salt note, but it’s so artificial and poorly crafted, with such cheap and fleeting vanilla, that to my nose it just smells like salt water and nothing else. If you’re looking for a beautiful salty vanilla, definitely go for Idôle Aura; that perfume precisely captures sea salt 🧂 and the fluffiest vanilla imaginable for summer—beach roses with all the sunglasses you could love. I’ll try it again in the heat to see how it performs on my skin.

  • At first, I thought it would be a disappointment because it gave me the feeling that it didn’t last at all, and before leaving, I’d apply another perfume that overshadowed it. One day I was late and didn’t put anything else on; that’s when I finally understood its essence, how it was, and how it worked. The scent comes and goes, wrapping you in an aura that’s perceived at times, in waves, as if a fragrant breeze suddenly surrounded you. In contrast, others perceive it more intensely and continuously. Apparently, this is a generalized trait in perfumes from this brand. I’ve received many compliments with this scent. Even a stranger stopped me on the street, impressed, to tell me how good I smelled. That never happened to me, even though I usually wear potent winter perfumes with great sillage. Vanilla Vibes is very natural, with a fresh, fine vanilla, nothing cloying. As mentioned below, it reminds me of ice cream. It evokes the well-being you feel after a swim in the sea. I don’t associate it with sunscreen or tanning lotion because mine don’t have a scent. It seems like a perfume that doesn’t want to be one. It just aims to float near you without merging with your skin. It doesn’t remind me of Olympéa, but I see it similar to Gucci’s Flora Gorgeous Orchid. I have both, but I prefer Vanilla Vibes because it’s much more complex and the vanilla dominates more. Ideal for spring and summer. I reapply throughout the morning, and it keeps me company into the night.

  • Angelique137

It’s an intriguing perfume. I felt a bit of rejection at first, but I gave it time, and throughout the day I started finding different aromas: a soft, distinct vanilla, and the salty notes are like wet sand. It’s not tropical, not beachy. It’s very different. I still haven’t fully understood it, but I didn’t want to leave without sharing my first impressions. JHAG is definitely not a house like the others.

  • A fairly fresh vanilla from the start, with just the right salty touch to make it super summery without being sharp. Plus, I detect an undeclared coconut note. All of this makes it sweet yet refreshing at the same time, ideal for summer days. The downside is the performance… quite poor on my skin. I wouldn’t buy it.

  • Dragonfly19

I love it because it’s different. A very salty vanilla that evokes hours at the beach, relaxed days. For me, it’s a very pleasant scent; I really like it. I must say that I feel it doesn’t project much, but I think it’s made for more personal enjoyment. Medium longevity. I reiterate that it’s a salty vanilla in no way traditional, so I suggest not buying it blindly.

  • Lorenapicazo

I tried Vanilla Vibes for that mix of vanilla with marine notes, but it didn’t work for me. It smells very much like sunscreen and brine—a very summery aroma that reminds me of the beach. The problem is that on my dry skin, it feels rough and weird, as if the salty note swallows everything and leaves a strange odor. Also, I feel it lacks sweetness to balance things out. Even though it brings back nice childhood memories of the beach, it’s not a perfume I’d wear. I recommend trying it first because it depends a lot on how it reacts on your skin.

  • lauraaaaherrera

Too salty. Without the salt, it would be incredible, but the briny smell overpowers the entire fragrance.

  • whisper_of_love

It happens to me just like others: the salt note stands out way more than the rest. If you’re looking for that salty scent left on your skin after a day at the beach with sunscreen, this delivers exactly that. It doesn’t work for me as a daily perfume, but it’s perfect for evoking those seaside memories I love and miss. Lasts 6-8 hours on my skin. Thanks to @Taurien.

  • I don’t really detect the salt; it’s mostly vanilla with a powdery touch. Very soft and pleasant. If it reminds you of Beach Walk, it’s just because of the vanilla added 😊
