It’s my first Mancera and already my favorite. Perfect for fresh or cold days, though it’s not overwhelming at night even in exceptions. It’s a Felicia: pink rose with liquor, lemon, and vanilla. I love it; it’s unique and exquisite. I bought it blind and will repurchase it every time it runs out.

It’s vanilla and caramel. The roses are barely noticeable, just a little at the start. It’s for cold climates, nothing for heat. Since I live in a hot city, for my nose it’s too sweet and unbearable. It has beastly longevity.

Such a powerful and dark rose; with the lemon it sounds weird. At first it smells like coffee, but it doesn’t contain coffee… And as it dries, it constantly smells like some alcoholic beverage. I didn’t like it at all, nada.

Very feminine and elegant. Sharp opening from the roses and lime. In its evolution, there’s a soft rose, a bit sweet (not cloying at all) and very pleasant.

Roses Vanille is a rose and vanilla bonbon that, in my opinion, is Montale’s Intense Café without the coffee. Although it’s labeled as feminine, I think it’s a mistake; it smells totally unisex. Longevity and projection are top-notch, like almost everything from Mancera. I love it and recommend it 100%: a perfect seductive aroma for those autumn and winter nights.

This is ‘the market’s safe bet in recent years’. A secure choice, easy and rich scent, without many additives. Although the brand designed it as feminine, it’s totally unisex. In my experience, it’s the perfume from the brand I’ve liked the most.

BEWARE! My opinion is about a 2021 batch; the one I tested in-store now is something else, reformulated to the max. The old ones (with screw caps) are nuclear, last forever, and project a lot: a super elegant, creamy, and sweet scent, very feminine. I gifted it to my girlfriend and she loved it. But with the new formula, I declare it dead and buried.

For me, it’s a totally unisex scent with good performance, though a bit heavy for very hot days. It smells rich, like burnt vanilla with a touch of oud at the end. Good longevity and trail. Only for those who love sweet scents; although no one says it, Zara’s Rich Warm Addictive is its clone.

I bought it blind because all Mancera scents are my favorites and it didn’t disappoint: I loved it. It’s sweet and subtle; I didn’t feel anything similar to what I expected, and it fascinates me.

It has no projection for me, but it’s gorgeous. On my skin, it smells like lemon juice with sugar and zest over a base of musky roses.

Too bad I didn’t like it, even though I tested it across different seasons looking for more punch. The rose is very synthetic and tiresome; this house’s fixatives give off a plastic, artificial scent that just doesn’t work for me. The main rose fails—it’s not done right. It has beastly longevity but leaves a heavy trail. It reminds me of a dried flower potpourri air freshener. It’s sweet, linear, and one-dimensional, with tons of copies on the market. It gave me a headache, so I gave it away and asked the recipient not to wear it when I’m around.

I’ve tried countless dupes and none of them worked for me until I tried the original and confirmed there’s no comparison to Roses Vanille. The Zara one is a failed imitation with more amber and rose than vanilla. Roses Vanille is a Turkish delight, a super-sugary, feminine rose with extreme longevity. It’s similar to Roses Greedy from the same house, but this one is greedier and sweeter, whereas Greedy is fresher.

There’s no point with this perfume; I gave it several chances, and it’s just not for me. It reminds me of dried flowers for arrangements, which makes me hate it. I don’t smell any vanilla or juicy rose, which is a shame because it has tremendous projection and lasts hours (10 hours). You can tell it’s high quality in its construction, but I just can’t handle it.

Super sugary, potent, and delicious! On my skin, it smells like a boozy rose cake. It feels syrupy, succulent, and very sexy, with a trail that projects without losing intimacy or being overwhelming. You have to really like very sweet perfumes.

I didn’t like it much. I love Turkish rose, but this perfume felt like a familiar scent to me, even the typical rose with oud found in Arabic perfumes. Even though that note isn’t marked, there’s a hint that reminded me of it. It is definitely potent.

I just sprayed on Roses Vanille. With the rain and summer ending, I was craving it after keeping it tucked away for six months. How beautiful it is, and how easy it would be to make a signature scent if it weren’t for having too much of a trail for work! But I solve that by measuring carefully: one spray on the nape and another distributed on the wrists, and you’re good to go. The rose-vanilla combo is common, but here it’s exquisite. It has a touch of whiskey that makes it special. That touch is missing in Zara’s Rose Gourmand, which also doesn’t have as much trail or projection (that’s why Rose Gourmand might appeal to others for being discreet, but for me, it lacks the quality of Roses Vanille). It lasts forever, and if it lands on clothes, you’ll have to wash them. Regarding gender, it’s more feminine, though I can imagine a man wearing it; that touch of whiskey gives it an interesting, slightly masculine edge. Of the Mancera line, my favorites are Roses Vanille for autumn/winter, Velvet Vanille for spring/summer, and Coco Vanille for summer.

I just got it and found an old screw-top version. I expected an avoiled rose and it is exactly that. It’s familiar, not an innovative formula, but it’s great in the details. It’s mainly a dark, spiced, dense, and intoxicating vanilla with a mature, velvety rose; there’s no juiciness or fruity notes, it’s a syrupy liqueur of vanilla and roses. It’s very potent; I applied very little and it’s overwhelming. You don’t feel natural ingredients, but you do feel quality, and I like that, so I’ll keep testing it as it’s only been a couple of hours since I applied it.

Absolutely divine, feminine, and sexy. Imagine an old vase with fine liquor and vanilla pods at the bottom. You cut a fresh rose wet from the rain, sprinkle it with sugar, and submerge it in the liquor. The petals get soaked in that heavy, vanilla-sweetened liquid. The longevity and sillage are excellent.

I love, love, love it ❤️. On me, the vanilla and roses really shine. It’s so beautiful, very similar to Francis Kurkdjian’s Gentle Fluidity Gold but much more durable. I adored it.

Wow, very similar to Montale’s Intense Café (and also Ristretto Intense Café…). That musky rose base is very characteristic of the creator. It’s not a sugary bomb, but rather a musky rose with a touch of sweetness. On me, the aldehydic note isn’t very noticeable yet. I detect vanilla, but not as extreme as other vanilla scents. It’s rich, but not overwhelming. I’ll test the longevity on my skin.

How is it even possible that I love a perfume with roses as the star? I’m obsessed. I usually struggle with that note, but this one is a total hit! 😱 It smells sweet, aldehydic, creamy, and heavily vanilla-infused, yet the rose still dominates. Think aldehydic roses freshly cut and soaked in sugar. After a few hours, it settles into melted vanilla with sugar. To me, it’s borderline gourmand; I imagine rose petal custard or Turkish delights. It’s feminine, playful, and incredibly sensual. Lasts forever with an amazing trail. I’ve tried some dupes and they’re pretty good, though the longevity and intensity aren’t quite there. I wouldn’t buy Roses Vanille myself because it gives me a slight headache (roses do that to me) and it doesn’t quite ignite my passion, but it’s a charming fragrance.

Mancera perfumes are divine for me, but this one is pure femininity and sensuality. I’ve worn similar scents before and always loved the rose-vanilla combo, but this Mancera is exceptional. You can really taste the rose, vanilla, and sugar… it’s a delight. The trail and projection are massive; with just a few sprays, you could knock over governments. Even after washing my clothes, I can still detect the scent.

I love roses, and I bought this perfume because the vanilla base is delicious on my skin. If it’s just rose with vanilla, my boyfriend compliments me every time I wear it… I discovered that when I’m at the office with air conditioning, it disappears, doesn’t project, doesn’t stand out. However, when I go out and it’s a bit warm, that’s where the magic happens.

In the end, I gave in to all the reviews, bought it, and I fell in love. It’s an incredible scent, sweet rose, clean, brand new doll… incredible. I have the original and some dupes. If you like perfumes that smell like roses, sweet, and clean, you can’t miss this wonder. When I don’t know what fragrance to use, I reach for Roses Vanilla… it’s a sure win. I also sometimes layer it with Intense Café… and I get an olfactory bomb!!🤩🤩🤩

I bought it blindly based on the reviews and made a huge mistake. The scent, despite my attempts to get used to it, gives me nausea. It smells like roses soaked in a bottle of liquor with lots of sugar. It didn’t work for me, I don’t recommend buying without testing. That said, the longevity and sillage are eternal.
