Oud Sapparot by Montale is a woody-chypre olfactory creation designed for men and women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, reveals its character under the olfactory direction of Pierre Montale. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with a vibrant top note of pineapple, Cambodian oud, and saffron; a structured heart of leather, birch, and cinnamon; and a warm, enveloping base of vanilla, coconut, and white musk.

Hi, Adrián1998. Tested on a blotter in response to your question. I’m not sure if the JPG one is similar. It reminds me more of an oud-rose fragrance; I didn’t detect any coconut, just a hint of pineapple… I’ll have to test it on skin, but on the blotter it has nothing to do with the JPG. Best regards.
Pineapple is my favorite fruit—super juicy and refreshing. Smelling tropical pineapple in a perfume makes it unique, especially if it’s like the one in Oud Sapparot: you can almost taste it on your tongue with a base of oud and oriental accords that turn that freshness into an attraction bomb. An absolute delicacy, a perfume that smells like Caribbean vacations with a piña colada on the shore. The most gourmand recommendation I can give for this summer.
As a pineapple lover, I have to highlight it, but I haven’t tried it yet to check its longevity and projection. It opens with a very fresh pineapple and a bit of coconut, giving the sensation of sipping a piña colada on a hot beach. As it dries down, the oud, cinnamon, and leather come out more; that initial freshness disappears and it becomes sweeter, which makes me wonder if it’s really for summer.
Starts with a super bright, sharp pineapple note, like a flash of lightning. Then it settles into soft leather and wood notes. After that, everything gets wrapped in a light veil of vanilla with pineapple, which works great. An interesting scent that I absolutely loved. The longevity and sillage are top-notch.
Very prominent perfume. I fell in love with the dry-down; it’s elegant and I haven’t smelled anything like it. On my skin, the woody notes take over. Definitely going on my wishlist.
