  I had it tucked away for a while and found it while organizing my closet. Last night I invited my wife out for dinner and wore it generously. What a pleasant surprise, because when I bought it, it didn’t seem spectacular to me, but now it’s a very good fragrance. That orange blossom note is simply magnificent; I feel it’s powdery and gives me a violet vibe, until my wife asked me what I was wearing today, if it was new. I told her no, that it was one I’d had stored for a while. I asked if she could guess what she thought it was and gave her three options: a) La Nuit de l’Homme, b) Valentino Uomo, c) Zara For Him Black Edition. She said La Nuit de l’Homme; personally, I don’t find them that similar. At the restaurant, the waitress sitting across from my wife asked, ‘You smell so good, is that your scent?’ to which I said yes, and my wife, who is a bit jealous, got annoyed telling the waitress not to smell like me too. I had to step in to diffuse the situation. However, I’m left with a pleasant taste in my mouth, not because the dinner was delicious, but because of this fragrance that I’ve come to appreciate several months later. Fresh, powdery, and clean, with a sexy, sensual, and attractive vibe; it has that part that reminds me of La Nuit de l’Homme, but with clean, fresh, and floral nuances that I loved. I don’t see it as a dark scent per se; for couple’s nights, it feels like super luxury. Women who smelled it liked it a lot, and I do too. A great option for hitting on someone. Scent: 10. Projection: 2 hours. Longevity: 6, maybe 7 hours max. Highly recommended.

It’s true that it’s not groundbreaking; it might remind you of La Nuit de L’homme more due to the cardamomo prominence during the dry down, but it also leans toward Azzaro Wanted or Halloween, without being as sweet or heavy. That said, the opening is identical to Valentino Born in Roma Intense for the first 10 minutes, though it changes completely afterward. For me, it’s highly addictive. I recommend spraying it a few times and letting it mature for a few months, as this improves the performance a bit. After a few months without using it, on my skin it lasts about 6 hours with a projection of 1 to 2 hours. It’s a fragrance that invites people to get very close. I repeat, it’s very addictive and sensual.

It’s not innovative; it smells like La Nuit de l’Homme due to the cardamom in the drydown, and reminds me a bit of Azzaro Wanted or Halloween, but without being as sweet or annoying. The opening is identical to Valentino Born in Roma Intense for the first 10 minutes, though it changes completely after that. It’s very addictive! I recommend applying it multiple times and letting it mature for months; this improves its performance. After a few months without using it, on my skin it lasts 6 hours with 1 to 2 hours of projection. It invites people to get closer. Repeat: it’s very addictive and sensual.

I’ve never received so many compliments with a perfume; people have asked me in the university hallways, on the bus, and at the grocery store. Even the cafeteria waiter at uni asked about it and bought one. I’m not exaggerating; these are real situations. The opening is citrusy; I detect orange blossom and nutmeg (or a slightly powdery, mildly bitter note). Then woods emerge that remind me of a mix of Boss Bottled and Invictus, with a sweet touch and that powdery note that lingers. The words that describe it perfectly are ‘sensual’ and ‘masculine’. It has the effervescent kick of Invictus but with a different aroma, and I think that’s what people love so much. It projects and lasts well, plus it’s a steal. Overall, a well-rounded perfume to attract attention (for a good reason) without being overwhelming and pleasing to all. I wear it every day at any time. For something very formal, I’d use another because this lacks a bit of class, but for the rest of occasions, it’s perfect.

It has a masculine yet tender personality. I see it as the perfect balance between the blue and sweet fruity notes found in winter perfumes. I view this as totally suitable for evening wear in mild or cool weather; while it could be versatile enough for any season, if you use it in the heat, make sure it’s at night and for an occasion that warrants it. It’s a scent that anyone who smells it will like. It tends to be a bit mature, but nothing a 15/18-year-old boy can’t wear if he dresses well. As for YSL’s La Nuit de L’Homme, they have nothing to do with each other. I like this Zara one more, but it’s warmer; La Nuit is somewhat more versatile.

My collection consists of sweet perfumes, and this one is rich, masculine, and sensual; I didn’t know I liked them that way. It’s impossible to disappoint, though I see it as youthful, perfect for daily wear but not in extreme heat. It has poor longevity and projection, staying mostly close to the skin, but I like that; it feels like an embraceable perfume that gives confidence. I’d wear it for special occasions with your girlfriend, get it?

  Ultra-lovable fragrance, a sweet balance between spicy and woody. It’s neither fresh nor heavy, very romantic, cozy, even paternal, with a masculine yet tender personality. I see it as the balance between the blue and sweet fruity notes of winter perfumes. Totally for night and temperate/cool weather, versatile for any season, but in heat only for night and occasions that warrant it. Everyone smells good in it. It tends to be mature, but nothing a 15/18-year-old boy can’t wear if dressed well. As for YSL’s La Nuit de l’Homme, they have nothing to do with each other. I like this Zara one more; it’s warmer, whereas La Nuit is a bit more versatile.

  I picked this up at Zara while looking for something with minimal reviews, and I was hooked immediately. At first, it didn’t quite convince me, but it has improved over time and is now a solid 10/10. Perfect for chill outings, day or night. I’d recommend it for cool days or mild heat; it fades a bit in the dead of winter. Would I buy it again? Yes, as long as the price stays this good.
