Zara's Immortal Vanilla is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women. Launched in 2024, this creation unfolds a scent pyramid where the top notes are coconut, sea salt, and jasmine; the heart reveals incense and caramel; and the base settles on vanilla and amber.

  • As a fan of Matière Première perfumes, I had to try it. It does resemble it a lot, especially at the beginning, so much so that I got annoyed thinking so many people would start smelling like Vanilla Powder. But as it evolves, on my skin the palo santo load is much lower. As for performance… it’s not the same on my skin. Vanilla Powder is a beast, and this Immortal Vanilla sits well, lasting about 6-7 hours, but it doesn’t project at all, nor as much. It does resemble it a lot and can be a good alternative for daily wear, but I’m not regretting owning the original, and I’ll keep buying it.

  • I had a bit of a mess with this fragrance. Based on the notes, I thought it would be my next obsession and even wanted to buy it blind, so eager, since I didn’t have time to visit a physical store and test it during all the Christmases. Luckily, I had the patience to wait until I could try it before spending money. I’ll give it a second chance, but after the first impression, I was quite disappointed. For me, it’s not coconut, not salted caramel, not incense, not vanilla, or anything at all; what stood out from start to finish, despite not being listed, was the musk. It’s a note that feels really heavy and annoying to my nose. The disappointment hit me immediately, which is why I want to try again, but it seems this fragrance will fade into obscurity for me 💔 That said, its longevity is noteworthy. I applied it around 8:30 PM in the store on the back of my hand and could still smell it when I woke up in the morning, so for those who enjoy its scent, it’s a ten in longevity.

  • Maybe my nose is basic, but I think it’s a very good perfume. Soft sweetness that isn’t cloying; you can smell the vanilla and coconut without any sunscreen vibe, thanks to the incense that gives it maturity. At 27, I think it’s perfect for a young woman but not too young (25+). I absolutely loved it

  • I was a bit disappointed at first. I bought it blindly based on the described notes, but when I tried it in-store, there was no coconut, no caramel, no incense; what stood out most was a heavy musk that suffocated me. However, the longevity is a ten: I sprayed it at 8:30 PM and it was still there when I woke up. I’ll give it another chance, but for me, it will fade into obscurity because of that dense musk smell 💔

  • I won’t dare say it lasts 12 hours on skin, but 10 for sure. The longevity of this wonder is amazing. Plus, not being a fan of coconut, it managed to win me over. Tremendous perfume cucumber. The best Zara has ever made. Unisex, for 18+. Longevity: 10/10. Sillage: 8/10. Originality: 8/10. Wearability: 9/10. Score: 9.5/10

  • Very similar to Vanilla Powder but without that palo santo heaviness. For me, it’s very creamy, warm, and even clean. I really liked it 👌🏼

  • I own Vanilla Powder and this is identical to the original. So identical that I’m furious I spent money on the other one. The sillage is the same: vanilla with dry coconut, nothing gourmand. Maybe the opening varies slightly, but it’s incredibly similar

  • I’m not saying it lasts 12 hours on skin, but 10 hours for sure. The longevity of this gem is amazing. Plus, even though I’m not a coconut fan, it managed to win me over. What a perfume bargain. The best Zara has ever made. Gender: unisex, age 18+, longevity 10/10, sillage 8/10, originality 8/10, wearability 9/10, overall rating 9.5/10.

  • A rich opening, like a sweet coquito, but it dries down quickly with a musk that lingers on the skin and a hint of old playdough, not Play-Doh. I bought it on impulse due to the first impression, but I don’t think I’ll use it much.

  • Ojos Claros

A feminine, light, and coquettish vanilla with a subtle coconut, a touch of caramel, and cotton candy. Imagine it in a pastel pink bottle with big white letters, and the concept speaks for itself.

  • Light vanilla, very well-executed coconut, and a longevity that surprised me: sprayed at 9 AM and still there at 5 PM, slightly less potent at the start but with a very pleasant sweetness.

  • Lavidahuelebonito

I don’t detect the coconut; it smells like a subtle salty vanilla. It smells great, ideal for a cool summer night.

  • Vainillalau

It smells like Versace’s Crystal Noir, but much more affordable and delicious. Plus, it’s super long-lasting.

  • MissPennyLane

At first, it smells like Shamanilla, that creamy coconut with sandalwood that’s no longer sold. Once it dries down, a classic Marie Biscuit accord emerges. I like it, though it doesn’t fully captivate me.

  • DaviniaTolkien

Forget comparing it to Crystal Noir; they have nothing in common. It’s a salty unisex vanilla with coconut that avoids the sunscreen smell. I don’t pick up on the amber or incense, but the longevity is incredible. It’s linear and I like it. I see it as an all-rounder, especially for formal summer nights: beach vibes but without leaving the hotel, enjoying quiet drinks at a bar. It smells delicious, and anyone who smells it will fall in love with you. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something to unwind with for the evening.

I didn’t like it. Among Zara’s vanilla scents, this is by far the worst for my taste. Based on everything I’d seen, I expected a sweet vanilla-coconut blend… and nothing could be further from the truth. On my skin, it feels super artificial, plasticky, almost like low-quality sunscreen. I’ll give it another shot once some time has passed, but for now, it’s a no for me.

  • My expectations were sky-high, but for me, it wasn’t. Influencers say anything for likes, so better to try in-store first. The opening is a natural coconut like coconut water, very pretty, with a yellow jasmine more than stated. But that note fades quickly, leaving a sweet vanilla like Bianco Latte. It lasts 6-8 hours on my dry skin, which is a lot for Zara. It’s a sweet gourmand with a murky, mysterious touch, like the smoked quartz on the bottle. It doesn’t move my emotions, but I’ll try layering it with white florals or CK Beauty to see if the creaminess helps. Maybe I’ll buy it again to use with mango mist in summer

  • My expectations were sky-high, but for me, this isn’t Zara’s best. Many influencers talk up the hype just for likes, but it’s better to try it in-store or with a decant: skin chemistry changes everything. It opens with a lovely natural coconut, though I detect more yellow jasmine; then it fades quickly into a sweet vanilla reminiscent of Bianco Latte. It’s a gourmand I enjoy, but it loses its identity like many mass-market scents. It lasts 6-8 hours on my dry, dermatitis-prone skin, which is quite a lot for Zara. It has a murky, mysterious, almost gothic vibe, perfect for unisex wear. It doesn’t fully win me over, but I’ll try layering it with white florals or CK Beauty to see if it works. Immortal Vanilla lasts longer, but here the coconut feels underwhelming. Maybe for summer with a touch of Body Shop mango, I’d buy it again.

I tried it a long time ago at the store and found it exquisite, sweet coconut, vanilla, so rich… Today I bought it and, oh, disappointment. The coconut is still there, okay, but I notice a powdery note that doesn’t quite convince me, and the vanilla is almost imperceptible. I think I should give it time and try it again once it has settled. Either way, it’s a lovely fragrance and lasts decently (because nothing lasts long on me).

  • This is a super powerful fragrance, a smoky winter unisex coconut-vanilla blend. It’s spectacular and smells incredibly luxurious 😀

  • I have to share this… In my search for a fragrance that would blow my mind, I bought two or three perfumes that left me sad because they were a waste of money and didn’t smell like I expected. One day, I greeted a friend of my daughter, and her scent stuck with me until the next day. Right after that… I bought it and became addicted. What a scent, what longevity, what sillage, what a miracle. It smells refined, self-love, happiness. What a delight to find fragrances like this. If you know the name of another one, let me know.

  • Here’s my story: I was looking for a fragrance to drive me crazy and spent money on bottles that didn’t smell right. Until a friend of my daughter wore this perfume and the scent lingered on me until the next day. I bought it and became addicted. It smells like refinement, self-love, and happiness. What a delight to find perfumes like this. If you have names of others, I’ll read them

  • Here’s my story: at the back of a concert, a girl sprayed this perfume about 20 times and it smelled divine to me. It smelled like salty vanilla and a sticky coconut. I had that scent on my mind for months until I finally decided to grab the small bottle, and then I bought the big one. It’s been my summer fragrance; with the mix of coconut and vanilla, I think it’s versatile enough to combine for autumn or winter. I think it’s totally unisex, though I’d wear it more during the day. The only thing I don’t perceive is much sillage, and the longevity isn’t the best.

  • My story: at the back of a concert, the girl in front of me sprayed this about 20 times and it seemed divine to me. It smelled like salty vanilla and a coconut that sticks incredibly well. I wore this scent for months until I finally had the courage to buy it, but I couldn’t remember the name, only that it was one of Zara’s vanillas… and bam, I recognized it instantly. I bought the small one and then the big one, very happy. It’s been my summer fragrance; with the mix of coconut and vanilla, I think they’re versatile enough to layer with other perfumes to make it more autumnal. I see it as totally unisex and would wear it more during the day. The only downside is that I don’t notice much sillage and the longevity isn’t the best.

Even though it’s called Immortal Vanilla, the coconut stands out more than the vanilla. It’s elegant, dark, and deep. Smelling it reminded me of Versace Crystal Noir Parfum 2024, though it’s less creamy. With a few sprays, it imitates that fragrance I adore very well. It’s not meant to replace Crystal Noir, which is a gem that competes with niche scents, but it’s the closest thing I’ve heard. If you don’t like coconut or dark fragrances, this isn’t for you; it’s basically its essence.

  • Mariangel3107

It feels pretty unisex, strong, and projects a lot. The first time I wore it, I got a headache because I applied too much, but the longevity is insane—it lasts until the next day. People say it smells great. Today I’m giving it a second chance with less to see how it goes.

  • Winter fragrance, spiced with vanilla. It’s like mixing Kenzo Amour with Impulse deodorant. Smells delicious, perfect for mature women.

  • Erikiuxis006

I’m absolutely in love with this perfume. For the price, the scent, the trail, and the longevity, it’s incredible. While the coconut is the most noticeable note, the floral and salty blend makes it very refined. I’ve been complimented constantly, even after four hours. It feels super feminine to me!
