I have a love/hate relationship with this perfume. I like it, but when it dries down after half an hour, it smells like sour mandarin, which makes me feel nauseous—not sweet. It resembles YSL’s Libre but isn’t a dupe: Libre is sweeter, while this is more floral. It’s okay, but I wouldn’t buy it again; I prefer YSL’s Libre. That said, for the price, it’s fantastic, has good longevity, and is great for daytime, autumn/winter, and everyday wear.

  • I love it. It’s white floral vanilla, sexy, nocturnal, and unisex for a dominating woman. It starts sweet, then loses that feminine sweetness to settle on the skin, gaining a masculine air without smelling like a man, but rather that scent left when a man hugs you and leaves a mark on your clothes (I assume the lavender). I haven’t tested longevity yet, but it’s very persistent. My boyfriend says it smells like neroli. If you’re from around here, the Pure Extreme by Bois seems very similar to me but less sweet, more unisex, elegant, and mature. I haven’t tried the Libre yet. I don’t think it will be hard to like if you enjoy white florals and intense perfumes. It’s not for hot days, but for autumn, winter, and fresh spring nights. I’ll update the review as I use it more.

  • I won’t talk about the similarity to Libre Intense because it’s been said enough. It’s an intoxicating perfume; I love that the lavender and that white floral vanilla touch are noticeable. The longevity is tremendous, along with the projection and sillage—it lingers in the room. Besides being cheap, you save the euros you’d spend on YSL’s Libre Intense because it smells the same, and even the Zara version lasts longer than the original. I own both and have compared them.

  • Cherryblush

Good, pretty, and cheap from Zara. I own the Libre EDP, and it smells very similar, though this one is sweeter; they say the Intense version smells like this, but I haven’t tried it. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 10+ on skin and clothes, Sillage: 9/10. Would I buy it again? Yes, to save money. The bottle looks good—simple and minimalist.

  • Pure elegance. It’s a 100% dupe, but even if it weren’t, it would still be incredible. It gives off that vibe of a confident businesswoman.

It’s my favorite from Zara and my go-to for everything: work, meetings, outings, or dinners. It’s super versatile. Even though it’s identical to the Libre Intense I own, this lasts longer on my skin. At night, I layer them, and it’s a rich vanilla and lavender explosion. The fixation and sillage are excellent; it’s an empowering scent that makes you feel dressed up. I highly recommend it.

  • Vanessascarletterr

At first, I thought it was too ‘strong’ and lavender-heavy, something I didn’t like and felt a bit overwhelming. But then I realized it’s super sweet, elegant, and sexy. It’s a wonderful scent, very attractive, with great sillage and longevity. Totally recommended.

It’s identical to YSL’s Libre Intense on my skin, with that perfect clean lavender note perfect for daytime or post-shower. It lasts about 6 hours (if I don’t use a base cream), but it sticks to clothes for days. It projects heavily for the first 3 hours and lingers at the end. It’s not my absolute favorite, but given the price and versatility, I’d buy it again without hesitation.

  • It’s identical to Libre Intense but with better longevity and projection; I’ve tested both, and this one won by a landslide.

  • It’s very similar to Libre Intense, which is why I bought it; I don’t have the money for YSL, and this satisfies me. I’m surprised it’s so complex and zero-linear. Excellent value for money. The opening is very lavender-heavy and I lose it quickly; I’m starting to notice the orange blossom notes, which I don’t love in perfumes but do in real life. After a while, you feel a vanilla that, while sweet, isn’t sugary or candy-like. Sometimes it reminds me of clothes drying in the sun, for that fresh lavender that hides very deep in the background. And that’s when I have the epiphany that I’d rather have more lavender, less of everything else. My initial wish was to have the Libre, but the EDP version.

  • Flowerpower

I own both Libre Intense and Golden Decade, and they are practically identical. The ultimate proof was when I wore this and my husband—who also shares the Intense—asked if I had put on the Libre. It leaves a trail, it’s powerful, sweet, and lasts for hours. I couldn’t resist buying it to keep in my purse. I also layer it with the Libre EDT for an extra touch of sweetness.

In love with this fragrance. A very edible vanilla with the citrus base of tangerine; it’s delicious. I don’t smell the lavender very present, but I like it that way because for me, that note is a bit invasive. Its longevity is really good, and the projection too. The sillage isn’t huge, but I like that it’s one of those intimate scents that accompany you without invading others. The best perfume I’ve tried from Zara.

  • I tried the original, and besides being more expensive, it didn’t last anything on my skin. This one lasts much longer and smells the same.

  • MissPennyLane

I understand the similarity with Libre. When both come out, they have a very similar accord. But that’s where it stops. Golden Decade is a 20-euro perfume that does a good job, lasting about two or three hours with moderate sillage without varying much from the start. It has little development; it smells the same from beginning to end. Fresh, citrusy with a touch of lavender. Very pleasant.

  • I’m on my second bottle and I’ve been so charmed by this scent that it was love at first sight. To my nose, it’s very similar to YSL’s Libre, but it has a note that, when sprayed, people say smells like grape. This in a hot climate of 35°-40° forces me to reapply it every 3 hours with a little puff to keep it fresh.

  • IvonneGarSo

Very similar to YSL’s Libre Intense, it has that perfect balance between sweet and citrus-floral… I love it.

  • lolieugenia

AMAZING PERFUME! It’s a dupe of YSL’s Libre Intense with nothing to envy. Of course, it’s not the same, but it delivers great performance in longevity, sillage, and scent. I don’t have the YSL one and I’d love to own it someday, but for now, I’m happy with this; I prefer to invest in other perfumes.

  • I have a little bit of it and it’s an amazing perfume. Super elegant, fresh, and warm at the same time (I don’t know if that makes sense, lol), not at all cloying or sharp (I was scared by the lavender, but I don’t smell it, it must be well-blended). It’s not annoying, has a quiet sillage. I reapply it even though it’s still on my skin because I’m fascinated by it. In autumn-winter, I feel comfortable; I don’t know if it will be too much in the summer… I’ll have to test it later, but right now I’m enjoying it so much. I would buy it again.

  • It’s a dupe of Libre, yes, it’s very similar but not the same. First, it doesn’t last as long; Libre lasted longer. Second, here the lavender is less noticeable, with more orange blossom and vanilla, so it’s more like Libre Intense. I get a weird smoky paper note at the end, leaving vanilla predominant. To me, it smells like subtle caramel with an undisclosed wood note. No dupe is ever the same as the original YSL; for the price, the ingredients are different, creating a different experience. It has development, but the lavender is what gives it the kick, and they haven’t imitated it well. Even if you pay for the brand, advertising, etc. I repeat, none are equal to the original; they just give the vibe. If you want something delicious and beautiful with your style, I prefer Maison Alhambra; it costs less, between $12 and $18 versus Zara’s $26, and they have both regular and Intense versions. PS: Zara launched an Elixir for Golden Decade; I haven’t tried it, but I assume it lasts longer than this EDP. They also released flakergolden Decade in the Elixir version.

  • April_ethereal

Sorry, but this fragrance smells terrible. That lavender reminds me of floor cleaners or old things, so I sold it.

  • It’s a perfume I didn’t love for a long time, but lately it’s suited my skin much better. I had a decant of Libre, and they smell almost identical on me, plus this one lasts much longer. So far, I don’t detect the lavender scent that many mention. It starts fresh and then turns powdery.

  • I really like how it dries down; it feels clean. Right after spraying, it has a slightly synthetic smell, but once it settles, it’s very rich. It has great longevity, and for the price, you can’t ask for more.

  • This perfume is crazy! If you want the Libre, EDP, or Intense, you’ve got this; it’s cheap and it’s the same thing. Good dupe. We love you, Zara.

  • Lizet Rodríguez

I compared it to Libre and didn’t feel much similarity, only noticing a resemblance for a few minutes, but after that, this one turns very vanilla while Libre goes more fresh. I also compared it to Libre Le Parfum, and this one resembles it much more, though I like the sweetness of Le Parfum better. As for projection and longevity, it’s a 10; on skin it lasts about 5-6 hours and on clothes until I wash them. It’s a very pretty fragrance for temperate or cold climates, if I recommend it.

  • Very good dupe of YSL Libre, plus it lasts forever on skin and clothes. Excellent alternative: elegant scent and not cloying if you spray just the right amount.

  • Great clone of YSL Libre; among the 15 or 20 I tried at Zara, this was the one where I said OMG, that smells so good… You can really detect that mandarin, with floral notes in the base… Very feminine and rich, I loved it. The price is insane, an 8.5 out of 10.

  • I think this is the most complimented perfume in my collection; it blows past any designer brand by a mile. When I wear it, my friends, coworkers, and even strangers on the street compliment it, even at the gym. Personally, I’m not totally obsessed with it, but I have to say, it’s an endless compliment generator. The longevity is brutal; I can smell it all day, which is rare for fragrances.

  • It’s my favorite fragrance. It smells exactly like YSL Libre and lasts just as long.

  • TynNyanko

I’m sharing my experience with this perfume because most people just call it a good dupe, but I haven’t tried the original YSL. While the notes seem fresh and soft, it’s actually a warm, elegant, addictive scent that I want to wear in autumn. I don’t know if it’s super trendy, but I don’t care; I find it charming, sensual, and perfect for night. Even after showering, it still lingers, and I’m really surprised by its quality.

  • I get the hype. Lasts a long time, sweet with a citrus opening, and the lavender adds mystery. I see it as a winter scent. Not for me, it’s too sweet, but for sweet lovers, it’s a great option for quality, longevity, and price.

  • JuanaBanana

On my skin, it’s an exquisite sweet jasmine. Elegant yet youthful, perfect for daytime. Lasts 6-7 hours with great initial sillage. I love it for the price.

  • Impressive longevity and sillage, it’s 98% Libre. Could say it’s one of the best inspirations out there.

  • Rich, delicious, smells amazing, and lasts forever. Smells exactly like Libre, it’s the same thing for less cash.

  • Bought it based on reviews. It’s potent, almost giving me a headache. It lasts, but the sillage is low. At first, it smells like Libre, then it changes. As a dupe, Leonie by Alhambra is better: identical but softer, though it gives me a headache. Not for me.

  • Top-notch perfume. Intense, with an avo-caramel and lavender heart. Lasts all day (easily 6 hours) and leaves a trail. Libre is finer, but for the price, this is a hit.
