Good for galas—elegant and sophisticated—but on my skin it lasts only 4-5 hours. The trail is heavy at first but not overwhelming. Ideal for cold weather; very complex, so I wouldn’t recommend it for daytime.

What happened to me with this? I hated it at first, but years later I rediscovered it and fell in love. It’s rich, addictive, soft, and seductive; it invites people to get close and smell you. If it lasted longer on my skin, it would be perfect. Highly recommended.

Look, people don’t get it and talk about performance. Before, LNDH was Megamare. It’s perfect for intimate dates: subtle and distinguished, not overpowering. A girl will almost certainly like it. It’s spiced cardamom with cedar and clean woods—delicious and not tiring. That’s why it seems like it doesn’t last: it doesn’t saturate, and your nose ignores it. 200ml bottle, use a decant to reapply at 4 hours, stop the nonsense. Listen to Carlitos Rubio and buy Delizia Oscura or Elixir Centauri if you want it to project well; you’ll see where I’m going…

The dry-down is exquisite—soft yet present with a lot of personality. I’ve only received two compliments, but it’s very special. Its flaw is the longevity and projection, but it’s indispensable for short events. I recommend it; it’s an essential.

I got lucky with a 2017 bottle; it was poetry: clean, creamy, sweet like honey, and elegant, lasting 6-7 hours. Now, after the reformulation, it smells simpler, less sweet, and lasts barely 3 hours. What a shame, but if you find it cheap and let it mature, it’s still enjoyable.

I bought the YSL La Nuit de L’Homme EDT 200ml for under $70. I’ve had it since 2009, and its performance has dropped. It’s still one of the sexiest and most impactful fragrances in history; people can’t help but ask, ‘You smell great.’ It was my signature; on dry skin it lasted 7 hours, now barely 4. Before, 6-8 sprays were enough; today I need 12-15. The opening isn’t overwhelming. Even though it’s a men’s scent, it works great on women. I recommend it with caveats: don’t buy it on a whim or at full price. Given the current performance, the larger bottle is worth it since you need to apply more. Note: if you don’t love it, a small bottle will leave you with leftovers.

Smells rich, clean, and elegant—great for a shirt and jeans combo—but I won’t be buying it again due to its pathetic performance. I found something better: Lattafa Asdaaf or Al Shama Capice, which are 90% similar but way more potent. Designer brands charge a fortune for weak fragrances; I’m tired of this abuse. Arab perfumes deliver rich, lasting scents; this one fades in an hour and is a total mess. Goodbye, no more purchases from you.

It’s a clean, crisp scent, but it’s not something I’d wear. It oddly fulfills the description: it literally smells like a wet wipe or baby butt cleaning, even though nothing was cleaned. Plus, people say it doesn’t last; I don’t know why since I only tested it on blotter paper.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t last at all; poor performance and not worth the price. I only see use for it in an enclosed space like a car for short dates. It’s useless for casual wear: the first crosswind takes it away. It sticks to the skin and is nonexistent after two hours. It’s not even good for a first date because you have to hug or get very close for anyone to smell it :/

I bought it for the story and reviews claiming it’s the best in perfumery. The scent is good, but the performance is horrible—probably the worst on the market right now. Sometimes, if my skin isn’t hydrated, it doesn’t even hit instantly. A true shame. Don’t waste your money; for the new generation, it’s something we’ve moved past; better fragrances are coming.

My favorite fragrance. From the start, you get that enveloping lavender mixed with spices creating a brutal blend. It smells like a man, elegant and sensual, conveying cleanliness, intimacy, and a seductive touch that hooks me. Every time I smell it, I want to re-scent myself. It reminds me of a young, well-dressed movie character at a gala: elegant with special magnetism. It’s versatile for any elegant moment, standing out on mild nights. The downside is it lasts about 3 hours and projects little, but that’s part of its charm: it’s intimate, you feel it up close, and it invites you to get closer.

The fragrance with the best smell and worst performance I’ve ever had. Half an hour of joy and minimal projection, then it’s gone. Two hours later, no trace on the skin. If you wear it for a date, make it a quick one 😂
