A very pleasant surprise. As it dries down, it’s a well-executed dupe of Le Beau Paradise Garden. The difference is this one doesn’t have mint like the JGP, but an acidic mango. At first, it feels beachy and fresh, then the tonka bean comes through and becomes creamy and sweet. It doesn’t resemble God of Fire, which is much fresher. Here, the mango balances the sweetness, whereas in GoF it takes center stage. Recommended for summer nights and mild spring or autumn days. It has the same issue as the JPG Paradise Garden: even though it feels beachy, I wouldn’t wear it in extreme heat. Plus, it’s sweet, so in winter it feels out of place due to its sunny, tropical vibe. *Update: I’ve read many comments saying it has a more feminine vibe than masculine. Keep that in mind when buying.
There’s an error in the notes. This one has mango, sandalwood, and tonka bean. The Zara website has the same mistake, but the box lists the correct notes.
Smells good. You can really tell the mango and the tonka bean base. It’s sweet, perfect for summer, and very gourmand. The only downside is I didn’t feel it lasted long or had much projection.
Polo Black, Kenzo Night (?)
The Mango scent is citrusy but doesn’t go overboard like pure fruit perfumes. It never loses its sweetness. As it dries down, that mix of mango and sandalwood is amazing. Smells like mango shampoo but better. It’s 100% for casual summer nights out. Doesn’t work in winter because it smells too much like mango and clashes with the cold.
