  Testing this perfume from a decant gifted by Anita, thanks. I was expecting more; for now, let me say: zero projection. It smells a bit like burnt vanilla to me, rich, don’t get me wrong, but it feels more like a Bath & Body Works lotion. I’d be happy to finish the decant to see if I change my mind, since the original in EDP and EDT are wonderful.

  I only had the EDP from Elie Saab before, which didn’t entirely thrill me. But while looking for something for spring-summer and finding a good deal, I decided to try it. And no, I don’t dislike it… I love it. I’ve worn it several times, and it’s becoming my star of the season. On my skin, I clearly perceive the vanilla, clean and not heavy, alongside the almond and flowers, creating a perfect, spring-like aroma for daytime wear. It’s sweet but nothing inappropriate for the heat, without being overwhelming. Both sillage and longevity are moderate. Even the color appeals to me, a light green shade. All in all, so far, it’s the best from the brand.

  I only owned the EDP of Elie Saab before, and while it wasn’t bad, it didn’t really excite me. I was looking for something for spring-summer, saw a deal, read some good reviews, but when I tried it… I absolutely loved it! It’s already my go-to perfume for the season. On my skin, the vanilla isn’t heavy; it’s clean, mixed with almond and flowers for a perfect, spring-like, sweet scent that isn’t too much for the heat. The sillage and longevity are moderate. I even like the light green color. So far, it’s by far the best perfume from the brand.

  A few days ago, I was feeling down and frustrated, so I looked for something to make me smile. I found this fragrance among several good ones I tried. I set aside the lackluster Midnight Poison by Dior and others like La Panthère by Cartier to bring home this one, which, being simpler, achieved the desired effect. The combination is simple: sugared almond, fresh bergamot, something translucent, and creamy vanilla. Closing my eyes, I smelled flowers and birthday cakes from my childhood, with powdered sugar, drops of sweet lemon, and almonds. It reminded me of special moments, made me feel happy, comfortable, beautiful, cozy, and loved. I thought of cakes and flowers for celebration, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. It’s not heavy; it has an easy-to-perceive sillage. It’s light, luminous, feminine, and subtle; I only imagine it for daytime use (though it holds up well outdoors). As for seasons, I’d wear it in spring and summer on days that aren’t extremely hot. It’s ideal for light-toned outfits like silk and cotton. Lemon, mint, pistachio, and very cold champagne ice creams come to mind.

It was a Thursday, I wasn’t in the mood, but when I put on the sample, something magical happened: I left smiling and super motivated, finishing the day happy. The citrus and almond scent lasted until the next day; the longevity is excellent and noticeable. I recommend it to anyone who likes sweet and citrusy but elegant scents. It will soon be in my collection.

  I tested it last week on a hot day. To clarify, I’m not sure if the weather or my skin influenced it, but it didn’t last long, only about 3 to 4 hours. That said, I really liked it. It’s clean; I perceived it as softly citrusy, turning sweeter at the end without losing that initial cleanliness. Because of this soft, subtle, and elegant sweetness, I’ll try wearing it on a less hot day; maybe it will last longer.

  What can I say about this fragrance that has fallen in love with me? At first, I wasn’t curious, but by chance I tried it and it impacted me for being so different and smelling wonderfully well. When I wear it, I feel transported to a place surrounded by flowers, almond trees, and blooming orange trees. It’s perfect for spring and summer, and being an eau de toilette, it has good longevity. It’s one of those that didn’t initially spark my curiosity, but by chance, I tried it at a perfumery and was blown away by how different and wonderfully it smelled. The moment I put it on, I felt transported to a place surrounded by flowers, almond trees, and blooming orange trees. It’s perfect for spring and summer, and being an eau de toilette, it has great staying power. It’s now my go-to perfume. A magnificent creation.

  Thanks for your writing style; it made me crave that ice cream, and I loved it. It’s the second one I’ve bought blind, and I’m very satisfied. It’s a delicate floral with a slight sweetness, a perfect amalgamation of its ingredients. The longevity and sillage are acceptable.

  Floral, sweet, with a citrus touch. I save it for special occasions. I find it very pleasant, but it’s not daily wear because it’s too intense and noticeable. Ideal for romantic dates; my partner gets completely captivated and wants to get closer. When I finish this, I’ll try ‘Le Parfum’; I think I’ll like it too. In the heart notes, it reminds me a bit of Lancôme’s Poème.

  I have no words to add to what’s already written about this gem. I’m a huge fan of the house and the creator; I always buy blind, and this was the first one I could get my hands on. It smells sweet due to the almond and vanilla blend; sometimes my nose plays tricks on me and I detect honey, but it’s polished, not heavy. The orange blossom adds distinction, and among designers, I think they nail that note better than anyone. On my skin, it lasts over 8 hours with moderate sillage. The bottle feels heavy and solid, and the atomizer is a joy: it sprays a fine, wide mist that intoxicates me. I see it as perfect for spring and autumn. It’s jovial, simple, and refined. Sometimes, less is more.

  Imagine a sunny spring day with jeans and a button-down; this perfume complements it perfectly. It’s simple, feminine, and sophisticated, suitable for any situation. The opening is slightly sweet, then the flowers add beauty, and the vanilla ties it all together. It would be a great gift. The trail is light and clean, without being offensive. It lasts about 4 or 5 hours. I prefer wearing it in dry and temperate environments because the cold dampens it.

  Wow, it doesn’t feel childish or citrusy like kids’ colognes. It’s intense, spring-like, and perfect for non-boiling summers. You can smell the vanilla and almonds; the orange blossom is more subtle now that it’s hot. It reminds me of almond ice cream—not gourmand. It doesn’t match the promotional photo. It’s a morning scent, informal, clean, and not very urban. Maybe tender, but not childish.

  I decided to buy it blind based on reviews and the 30ml price. It arrived with the liquid already honey-colored instead of turquoise, which I prefer. The opening is potent, spicy, and floral, like freshly crushed flowers. Then the intensity drops, becoming intimate, leaving a soft vanilla, almost like a flan but not gourmand. On my skin, the flowers are very strong; it gave me a headache the first time, so I only wear it in the cold. It’s not fresh; it’s more oriental. But it’s excellent for work—elegant, and my boyfriend loves it. I don’t recommend buying blind. Edit: on clothes, the bergamota comes through, making it much subtler and fresher, almost like Little Women. If your skin reacts well, it’s a refined exquisite with a soapy touch.

  I bought it blind, trusting the great perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. It’s my first Elie Saab and it pleasantly surprised me to the point where I want another bottle. It’s sweet and floral with a touch of vanilla; at times I get a peach blossom vibe, but it’s just that balanced combination that makes it exquisite. It lasts for hours and hours; florals usually don’t last long, but this has fantastic, long-lasting ingredients. I only recommend it if you like sweet scents, not gourmand ones.

  I bought it years ago because it smelled amazing in the decant, but what a mistake! On my skin, that green almond gives me a bitter, sharp touch that tickles my nose. It smells good and lasts, but it’s not for me. Edit: I gifted it to an aunt, and I was stunned; she said it smells delicious on her but bad on me. If it clicks with your pH, it’s a gem.

  Elie Saab Le Parfum L’Eau Couture is pure luxury and evokes the golden age of perfumery. It smells dense and potent at first, like 80s fragrances, but on the skin, it transforms completely. It’s unisex, original, and unique; it smells like spring or autumn. It lasts over 8 hours with a powerful but not overwhelming trail. It’s a masterpiece by Francis Kurkdjian. Note: the liquid is already amber-colored; that’s normal due to the vanilla oxidizing. Totally suitable for daytime.

  I’ve been wearing this for months. Honestly, the green almond note kills me at first—it’s not for anyone who doesn’t know what that smells like. But once it dries down, the base note emerges: an elegant vanilla with white flowers, nothing cloying. It projects well even as an EDT, and I wear it during the day without issues. I won’t repurchase to try their other fragrance, but edit: I gifted it to my mom because I just couldn’t handle that strong almond scent.

  I bought it a few months ago and have been testing it since then. On me, the main note is green almond, which I don’t like that much; if you don’t know that note, don’t buy it blind. However, as it dries down, it fades into a soft vanilla and white flowers. It’s very elegant, not too sweet, ideal for special occasions. I’ve worn it during the day without issues and received compliments; it projects well being an EDT. When the bottle is empty, I won’t renew it because I want to try Le Rose Couture. EDIT: I had to gift it to my mother, who loved it. I just couldn’t stand the pronounced green almond scent.
