The best perfume I own, even though I don’t usually like white florals; this is a delight, pure elegance. Excellent longevity, the honey is the most delicious I’ve tried, very balanced, a work of art. I simply love it. I bought it blind because there was no tester in Chile, and it was my best purchase ever.
Longevity: weak, maybe two hours at most. Projection: weak. There are many better options on the market. Price: moderate; there are better choices for much less. Disappointed.
The opening is sweet and exquisite; I really like it, but as it settles on the skin, it smells very familiar: I sense a blend between two Scandals (one more delicate, with creamy honey, though sweet) and L’Interdit (but less soapy). On my skin, even in winter with 35-degree weather, my pH makes it become bothersome and intrusive if I apply too little. I’m going to mix it at home to see if it works; maybe it’s Le Parfum? 🤔
Well, but personally, I find the jasmine a bit bothersome; it’s just a matter of taste. Good projection and longevity.
I absolutely love this perfume! A marvel, I adore it.
Just arrived. At first, I only smelled neroli; now, at 4 hours, I notice the jasmine. I found it rich, not too overwhelming. It won’t be one of my favorites, but it’s not bad either; quite the opposite, just not that “wow” factor for me. It reminds me a bit of Estee Lauder’s Modern Muse.
I admire Elie Saab, so this was always on my list. This year I finally took the plunge, and Le Parfum is a beauty—ultra-feminine and opulent. A bouquet of white flowers with honey, well-balanced and executed. When I wear it, I picture myself on a Mediterranean cruise or a luxurious beach; perfect for parties or elegant events. I’ve worn it in summer, but it works year-round thanks to its versatility. Lasts a long time with a moderate trail, though over-applying makes it heavy. Maybe it’s not the most transgressive, but it’s magnificent.
It’s perfect! Sweet without being cloying, fresh and floral without smelling soapy, classic but not dated, elegant without being pretentious. Very versatile: ideal for the office, a casual outing, or a daytime event. It’s a neroli bouquet with honey. Lasts 8 hours with a moderate trail—just what I need. It’s here to be my favorite.
I was looking for Girl of Now and they suggested this gem instead; it was love at first sniff.
Woman, elegantly to a fault. A woody floral that’s noticeable but not annoying or overly sweet. Very versatile, with moderate projection and great longevity on the skin. I love it.
What I smell most is the jasmine and honey (much more subtle than the jasmine). It’s a scent that doesn’t tire, it relaxes me. It’s mostly floral; the honey isn’t cloying. It’s versatile (for daily wear or special occasions). The scent is linear and lasts about six hours. I don’t think it projects much, at least not after the first hour; it’s more subtle afterwards and stays that way. What I like most is that, although I don’t stop smelling it on myself, it’s not a scent that tires me out, like it has happened with others. PS: 10/10 for the presentation.
Lots of orange blossom, lots of honey, and a bit of patchouli. I don’t smell jasmine or rose. Le Parfum by Elie Saab, with its legion of followers, seems like a stepchild of Coco Mademoiselle, with only a predominant note of drunk-on-honey sweet orange blossom, like a less fruity, sweeter, and less patchouli-heavy Coco. I don’t have to tell anyone what to wear, and besides, when so many women wear it, something must be right. But I’m surprisingly disappointed by the unfinished taste of many current designer perfumes. I’m talking about heavy night scents. It doesn’t matter if it’s Elie Saab, Guerlain, Carolina Herrera, Givenchy, or Dior; they all fail. They aren’t plastic or synthetic; the issue is worse: the base, the sediment, the foundations are gone. That wax, that talcum powder that used to linger like a rattle. They all lack grip in the base, as if they’re betting everything on the top notes. There’s no base or depth anymore. Imagine perfumer formwork that uses rails and iron so the building has a point of grip; they don’t exist anymore. Elie Saab, La Vie Est Belle, or Viva La Juicy skip the formwork. Unfortunately, today’s perfumes lack a base. Yes, they smell strong and shine, but they have an airy consistency; they give you everything at the first shot; what remains is a monolithic layer, a thematic perfume. A Tresor, a Poeme, or a Gio from thirty years ago had sediment, depth, and structure with pillars. That is lost. PS: If I don’t like current offers, let me dedicate myself to smelling vintage. I do, I put on Poeme or Allure Parfum and I smell. But it’s a pity that perfumes that could be beautiful and seductive pass without a trace or glory for lacking consistency, soil, or a seat.
A feminine fragrance; I particularly perceive the bitter orange blossom, jasmine, and patchouli, but beautifully blended. It’s elegant, a bit artificial but very pleasant. I was surprised that at times it smells a lot like Narciso Rodriguez For Her; I even checked if it contained musk, but according to the notes it doesn’t, and it only coincides with Narciso in one thing. But when I wear it at night, on my skin, it feels quite similar. Moderate projection but noticeable for hours. It’s a perfume I absolutely love.
This is my first Elie Saab perfume and I loved it; it’s delicious. I like the orange blossom and jasmine, and it was a very pleasant blind buy: fresh, floral, and slightly sweetened by honey. It’s not the cloying honey of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Scandal (which I love), but a very soft, almost imperceptible one, just like the soapy touch. It’s very similar in opening to Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDT and Estee Lauder’s Modern Muse, but with better performance. While NR lasts an hour and MM two, this ES stays on for at least six hours, though the last two are very close to the skin, with moderate sillage that diminishes. I consider it versatile, but more daytime than nighttime.
I’m still not sure about this perfume. I find it mature, for a woman 35 and up; I don’t like the initial scent on my skin, but the trail it leaves in the air is rich, elegant, and sophisticated. I’m not sure if I’d see it on a 20-year-old; I’m 24 and it feels complex to wear. I sense it’s not for any occasion, but something special or where you want to stand out; it requires class. Under the Elie Saab label, the perfumes are peculiar, and as a Lebanese descendant, I detect notes that transport me to a typical mezze. Without overthinking, the bitter orange blossom or orange blossom is what I notice most, followed by the white flower. I feel the honey a little, so the orange blossom and jasmine are the kings. I’ll update later to decide if I like it, but in the air, I love it.
It has a lovely opening that led me to two other perfumes: L’Interdit by Givenchy and the now-discontinued Valentina by Valentino. Its sweet and white floral chords dance on the skin and take turns; I don’t see a pyramidal development. Like a Schubert piece, it feels incomplete, lacking a third movement or a base that comes to the fore. It fades away, always floral and sweet, without delivering the expected conclusion.
Elie Saab and Francis Kurdjian, what more could you ask for? The brand’s first creation with a splendid orange blossom note that avoids the usual powdery or citrusy vibe. Francis proposes an orange blossom with honeyed tones, where the citrus opening blurs into a soft trail of patchouli and rose. The jasmine links perfectly with the orange blossom, letting it shine without getting in the way. There’s also cedar, but in smaller doses. Sublime and very well articulated. It manages to create a fragrance with orange blossom as the protagonist but with more body, making it more sumptuous. It lasts quite a while, with prominent sillage at the start and enviable longevity. If you like orange blossoms and potent sweet florals, this is a direct recommendation.
My first Elie Saab perfume, and when I tried it in the store, I was blown away. What exquisite refinement, for a delicate and elegant woman. I bought it right then and there.
It’s a luminous perfume with a Mediterranean vibe that radiates sweet floral notes everywhere. It’s linear with little evolution; it smells like sweet orange blossom accompanied by patchouli and a touch of jasmine. The orange blossom is a bit plasticky, macerated with aromatic touches of patchouli. The scent isn’t original—there are many with bitter orange blossom—but here it feels elegant and aloof, avoiding the vulgarity of colognes. Very feminine, it suits an elegant woman and is better for daytime. That’s where it belongs. It lacks the seduction of others with vanillas or woods. Perfect for work and outings with friends or family. The performance is good, with decent longevity and moderate sillage. Elie Saab wanted to recall the sunrises of his country, Lebanon, and he succeeded. The bottle is heavy, inspired by an ashtray from his office, very stylish. A good sweet floral fragrance, daytime and Mediterranean.
Honestly, I respect the noses that love this. I bought a sample to see how it evolves, and for me, it’s unbearable. I don’t feel any sweetness or florals; that blend of honey and patchouli, like in Scandal, feels intrusive and spicy to me. It just smells like patchouli with something sweet lingering in the background. What a pity, because they give it so much hype. I see this as a scent for older women, not for daily wear, but rather for important meetings or night outs. It’s not for young people or weddings, lol. But I applaud those who smell it differently and pick up on things I can’t.
That perfume is simply exquisite, refined, elegant, and feminine.
Elegant, deep, feminine, floral, and soapy. A very characteristic and unique aroma with long-lasting intensity. It’s like dressing up in an overwhelming and sensual spring, without losing a bit of delicacy. Long trail and longevity; I use it for special occasions. I’d get tired of it every day, but it’s true that I generally prefer fresh and herbal scents.
I bought it for the honey note, but on my skin, after two hours, the honey becomes noticeable. At first, there’s a powerful trail of non-sweet white flowers. After two hours, I notice honey, some wood, and a very distant rose. I have unusual skin, and perfumes usually don’t stick to it for long. Still, it lasts about four hours in summer and a bit less in spring-autumn. After this time, close to the skin, you only notice slightly perfumed talcum powder. I don’t associate it with daily use, but rather for important daytime or nighttime outings. I also see it as ideal for a bride, surely thanks to the white flowers that add a touch of purity to her image on such an important day.
White floral, feminine, elegant, and of high quality. The honey note (in a fresh mode) is the most beautiful of my designer perfumes. A 10/10 in scent and longevity, a magnet for compliments.
Pure jasmine bomb; it reminds me of Alien by Mugler, but don’t believe me, I know this scent well from a jasmine I have at home, but these notes don’t work for me and I can’t distinguish its facets. Still, the quality is noticeable, without reaching the realism of Tom Ford’s Jasmin Rouge. That said, it’s a beast; it smells, smells, and smells. I bought it because someone asked for it as a gift, but if I had to choose for someone, I wouldn’t be last. My aunt likes sweet things, so she’d be among the first to try it. If someone asks for ‘white flowers,’ this would be one of the first I’d recommend. If you like this vibe, you’ll love it.
A work of art in perfumery, created by the great master Francis Kurkdjian. Simple, refined, and elegant. It’s a white floral, not sweet at all despite the honey and patchouli. It’s truly a delight with excellent longevity, trail, and projection.
To me, it smells like orange, flowers, and honey. Good longevity and trail, but you need to let it dry on the skin for it to do its magic. It’s elegant, versatile, and not too common. I recommend trying it, although something about it saturates me a bit, so I prefer other perfumes.
Beautiful, elegant, and refined; you put it on and you look better. Smells like flowers with honey, without being cloying. It lasts forever, and I’ll buy it again without a doubt.
There’s nothing like this scent. It’s a poem on my skin, sublime and perfect for everything: from the office to a wedding. It’s not invasive, just right, and anyone who smells it loves it. What’s in Le Parfum? Basically African orange blossom and jasmine, with honey tying it all together. Although they say there are roses, I only notice jasmine, a touch of patchouli, and soft woods. For me, it’s spectacular: refined, with a great trail and longevity.
I love it; whenever I wear it, people notice immediately. It’s pure happiness, sunshine, and summer. It transports me to Andalusia with orange blossom flowers filling the streets. The longevity is good, though if the Intense version hadn’t been discontinued, I would have preferred that one. Still, I keep it like gold because I feel it will be retired soon. It lasts perfectly between 5 and 7 hours.
It has the Elie Saab signature. All the perfumes I’ve tried from this brand with their white floral notes are, in my opinion, a hit for brides. They give me that feeling of a perfume that conveys very feminine elegance, yet at the same time simple, pure, and clean. I own one of this signature scent and wear it in any season; it makes me feel pretty, and it’s definitely the one I’d want to wear on my wedding day. The only downside is that they don’t have great projection. However, they last more than a day on clothes. The issue is that they don’t invade or project too much.
An amber floral composition created by Francis Kurkdjian for designer house Elie Saab. It’s a white floral with sweet honeyed accords that convey cleanliness, elegance, and delicacy. It features a standout orange blossom with white honey notes, while patchouli and cedar provide depth in the background without being the main focus. I see this as more of a special occasion scent for when you want to project a sophisticated image. It can be worn year-round since the honey isn’t overpowering. Longevity is 7-8 hours on skin and lasts until washed out on clothes. Sillage is medium-to-high, and projection is medium. I recommend it for ages 25 and up if you like white florals; otherwise, you might find it too mature for your age. I love it for days when I want to highlight my image as a confident yet delicate woman 🌸. Ig @vale.perfumatica
The Elie Saab perfume is impeccable; it has completely won me over. Those honeyed flowers, despite being sweet, feel fresh and elegant to me. The composition is well-balanced, with every element in its place—it’s total delicacy. As it dries down, it gains more prominence, becoming super sexy, opulent, and addictive. Now I own the entire trilogy: EDT, EDP, and Intense; I like them all, and even though they share notes, they are distinct. For me, the magic lies in that honey and white florals, and I’m sure there’s more to discover. As I read in previous reviews, it’s likely they will discontinue it. I had trouble finding the EDP, and checking the manufacturer, the EDT and Intense versions I have are made by a French house, while the EDP is Italian. Despite being from different factories, the EDP fascinates me, and I’ll be buying backup bottles. What more can I add? This perfume is pure olfactory beauty.
This perfume is ‘pretty,’ but honestly, it’s nothing extraordinary. It seems extremely similar to Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP (I own both and could compare them). It’s a fresh, floral, slightly sweet scent; I’m sure it has musk, even though it’s not listed in the notes. The patchouli isn’t dominant (I usually dislike that note, but here it seems pleasant). I’d wear it for a formal daytime event. Longevity and sillage are moderate.
Nice perfume, sophisticated, and a ‘luxury’ type scent for women. On my skin, the jasmine and honey completely overshadowed everything else, so I couldn’t detect any other notes. Unfortunately, I’m not a huge fan of those notes, so it didn’t last long in my collection.
It was my discovery of the month, even of the year. For a long time I’ve craved a perfume with a honey scent, and I remembered the one I used during my teenage years: Lady Million. Talking about it with a friend, she recommended I try the Elie Saab one, and to my surprise, it was exactly what I was looking for. It reminds me (allowing for differences) of Paco Rabanne’s Diamond but less synthetic. The notes are perfectly balanced between white florals and the warmth of honey. It’s a light scent for everyday use, but at the same time, it dresses you up.
This is the perfect perfume for those who love jasmine but don’t like Alien by Mugler. I liked it, though not as much as I love it because I prefer sweeter perfumes and here the jasmine is very noticeable and the honey is little (at least on my skin). It lasted about 4 hours. The scent is very fine and elegant, for spring or summer nights. I wouldn’t use it in winter.
It’s a generic women’s perfume scent but with a real womanly vibe, lots of orange blossom and patchouli. What gives it charm is that soft touch of honey that becomes clean and enchanting when it dries. It’s nothing special but that touch of honey adds softness. I give it a 6.5. It reminds me of those warm afternoons when you know you have errands to run but want to look put-together yet casual; you put on perfume before leaving knowing you won’t overwhelm anyone but you leave a trail in your wake.
The opening is a bit sharp and heavy; you have to apply it sparingly, with just a few sprays. It improves as it dries, taking shape but with lots of patchouli and cedar. The trail is good and the longevity gave me 5 hours, the rest staying close to the skin. It’s not a scent I adore, but I would use it with caution to avoid headaches, dosing it on wrists and behind the knees. I recommend smelling it before buying, don’t buy blind.
Flawless perfume, smells like a refined and elegant woman, classic without being vintage. Pity that the honey doesn’t show up on my skin, not even a hint of sweetness, but there is a musk very much in the style of Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP. I love it, discovered it in 2014 and few fragrances have caught up to it. Many fresh white flowers of jasmine and orange blossom are noticeable, ideal for daytime and spring.
