Descripción
Le Parfum Lumière by Elie Saab is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2021, this olfactory composition was created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. In its opening, the fragrance unfolds a luminous top note of orange blossom, ylang-ylang, and mandarin. The heart reveals floral elegance with sambac jasmine, neroli, and gardenia, while the base settles on a warm and sensual foundation of patchouli, woody notes, amber, and musk.

A luminous, citrus-floral fragrance that is very versatile 💗. I let it macerate and it lasts all day, plus it’s very feminine and delicate, but with a good trail. It’s for daily use and doesn’t bother anyone, in the style of Libre EDP. For me, it’s the best flanker from Elie Saab and the only one I use 💞.
Following the DNA of Elie Saab Le Parfum, with jasmine, orange blossom, neroli, and gardenia, in the flanker Lumiere, patchouli, jasmine, and ylang-ylang take the lead. A beauty like the rest of this collection. Excellent quality. Highly recommended.
After 10 years since the original version, master Kurkdjian reinvents and makes the scent more ‘luminous.’ I consider that ‘Lumiere’ follows the line of its predecessor, but that version is indeed more luminous. That light comes from ylang-ylang, neroli, and gardenia glued together with orange blossom. It’s truly a bouquet of white flowers exposed to the sun! This perfumer has become one of my great favorites. Lumiere is another proposal that has everything to appeal to lovers of white florals. I recommend it blindly if you liked this Elie Saab line.
It’s a creamy floral, more white than anything. The ylang-ylang gives it that soft, sweet orange touch, like a tropical floral aroma. I absolutely love it. This brand never disappoints on trail and longevity; it lasts all day.
To be honest, I didn’t like it at all; I’m forcing myself not to wash my wrist where I tested it. I tried it thinking it would be similar to the classic, but it’s nothing alike: the other one is fine and delicate, while this one has a green note that just doesn’t work for me 🥲. I imagined a luminous fragrance like the first one, but boosted, and it turns out to be green; fresh, but only because of the bottle color. Not even a gift.
Honestly, I hated it. I’m actually forcing myself not to wash my wrist where I tested it. I tried it hoping it would be similar to the classic, but there’s no comparison: the original is fine and delicate, while this one has a green note I absolutely dislike. I imagined a luminous fragrance like the first one but amplified, only to find it’s green; yes, it’s fresh, but only in the color of the bottle. Not even worth a gift.
Kurkdjian really understands this damn good line; it’s almost entirely his, and this Lumiere delivers on its promise. It’s not a dim light, it’s a bright, intense beam of light. While the EDP showed a delicate facet of the bergamot (my favorite), here the white floral is overwhelming. From the start, it smells like Elie Saab Le Parfum but evolves quickly into something bolder and more modern, like a mix between Alien and L’Interdit. It’s the perfect combination of trendy white florals with a controlled ambroxan touch and an Ylang-Ylang that adds a tropical yellow note without stealing from the whites. Some might not like it, but I absolutely loved it. The performance is outstanding for today’s standards; excellent work by master Kurkdjian. I don’t know a single Elie Saab fragrance that doesn’t have high quality; a standing ovation to this Lebanese designer who keeps the bar high.
It completely knocked me out; it’s an incredible brand that puts me in a great mood and makes everyone look at me. It smells super natural, modern, and cheerful floral, hitting that perfect spot between casual and elegant. It’s the scent of someone who is friendly, warm, and classy. F. Kurkdjian proves his good taste again and knows what he’s talking about. It lasts quite well for what it is, and I’ll be buying it again as long as it exists.
