Descripción

Le Parfum in White by Elie Saab is a floral chypre fragrance for women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by Francis Kurkdjian and Jérôme di Marino. The top notes unfold with orange blossom, red berries, mandarin, and bergamot; the heart reveals jasmine and peach; while the base settles on white amber, white musk, patchouli, vanilla, benzoin, and balsam of Peru.

  • I’m surprised there are no reviews. I tried it a few weeks ago and it’s very pretty and elegant. It’s a white floral with well-defined bergamot and jasmine. Without the honey of the original, but creamy and almost chewy, very addictive. It blends super well with citrus and is perfect for a bride. You can tell the quality; it has a very Elie Saab vibe. The only downside is that the projection is very weak on my skin; it might work better in warm climates. It’s romantic and special.

I bought it today and it’s luminous, elegant, and beautiful. The longevity is excellent; I could still smell it on my skin the next day. Perfect for outdoor weddings. I was pleasantly surprised!

  • Elegant and distinguished, this perfume has incredible longevity and intensity; a single drop is enough. It smells sweet and floral without being cloying, perfect for formal events. Although jasmine isn’t usually my thing, I absolutely loved it here.

  • Elegant, potent aroma with great sillage and longevity. White floral (orange blossom and jasmine) sweetened by vanilla and the fruitiness of the peach, with an ambered musky base.

  • Very sweet and overwhelming at first, then after two hours, close to the skin… it smells soapy. My short review at 32 degrees.

  • At first, very sweet and overwhelming, then after two hours it’s close to the skin and smells soapy. My quick opinion at 32 degrees.

  • I hadn’t reviewed this Le Saab line yet, which I love and own several flankers from. I’ll start with this In White; although it sounds cliché, it’s perfect for a bride or Valentine’s Day, as I used it yesterday. To wear it, you must love florals; it’s an orange blossom bomb with intense sweetness that can be overwhelming. After the initial citrus burst, the orange blossom dominates on my skin. Towards the dry-down, it smells sweeter, and although not listed, I detect honey. I also notice fruity tints. Over time, the sweetness and projection relax, leaving the orange blossom and jasmine (always the orange blossom) with an ambered and resinous base. I don’t find it soapy. On my skin, it has intense projection even in winter and eternal longevity: over 12 hours on skin and over 24 on clothes and hair. It’s very feminine and elegant, suitable for special occasions and formal events. For me, it’s more daytime due to its luminous character. Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 10/10, Value for money 8.5/10, Versatility 6.5/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

  • I haven’t reviewed this Elie Saab line in a while and I love it. This In White, despite sounding generic, is perfect for brides or Valentine’s Day. It’s a blast of bergamot with intense floral sweetness that can be overwhelming. After the citrus opening, the bergamot takes over. Towards the end, I detect honey and fruity nuances. The sweetness and projection fade a bit, leaving the bergamot, jasmine, and an amber base. It doesn’t smell soapy. • A beautiful, elegant, and versatile perfume. It opens with a citrus and fruity note with just the right touch of sweetness, soon blending into white florals, especially orange blossom (more so than jasmine), over an exquisite vanilla and resinous base, which is my favorite part. The musky base is subtle and clean, zero animalic notes. The patchouli isn’t potent or earthy. I don’t identify the typical honey from Elie Saab Le Parfum and think they share DNA but are distinct enough to own both. It’s delicate, feminine, elegant, and simple—clean but not soapy. Being luminous (not solar), it’s more daytime-appropriate, ideal for spring/summer. A strong candidate for a signature scent. Although I intended this to be more of a ‘bride’ scent than this one, for me, Le Saab is the true bride perfume. Medium intensity, notable projection for 3-4 hours, and longevity of over 12 hours. Despite being soft, it leaves a notable and pleasant trail without being overwhelming; it just envelops you. Plus, the bottle is gorgeous. I highly recommend it.

  • I received this beautiful perfume today. It was a blind buy, and I have no regrets; quite the opposite, I absolutely loved it. At first, I detect bergamot with the berries and tangerine; it’s very fresh. I don’t notice the orange blossom much initially. As it dries down, the florals become more prominent, accompanied by the sweetness of the berries and tangerine. The dry-down is creamy and sweet without being overwhelming. I detect vanilla, musk, and what I believe is benzoin and amber. I don’t smell patchouli, and I’m not sure if I detect balsam of Peru. The peach and berries are well-integrated throughout. Everything smells very blended. I don’t know the longevity yet since I’ve only worn it for a few hours, but the projection is moderate; generally, my skin doesn’t project much, so I always have to reapply. In summary, I liked it a lot and see it as versatile for any season, though I’d only wear it at night in the summer.

  • To my nose, it’s the daytime and lighter version of Black Burberry since they share notes. It smells incredible, though it’s hard to find and a bit pricey if you don’t look carefully. Everything is blended perfectly, with no single note overpowering the others, leaving an elegant and fresh trail. I think it works in all seasons. Good longevity, around 6 to 8 hours, and moderate sillage.

  • To my nose, it’s the daytime and lighter version of My Burberry Black, as they share many notes. It smells incredible, though it’s hard to find and a bit pricey if you don’t shop carefully. Everything is perfectly blended; you can’t distinguish individual notes, leaving an elegant and fresh trail that I think works all year round. The longevity is good, lasting 6 to 8 hours, with a moderate sillage.

I had high expectations since Elie Saab EDP is one of my favorites, but I didn’t like this bottle. It’s perhaps a very unisex chypre. It’s floral with citrus touches (bergamot, mandarin, tangerine), but the floral combo quickly loses its spotlight and is overshadowed by benzoin and balsam of Peru, leaving a very chypre scent on the skin where the flowers are barely noticeable. I’m removing this from my collection because I don’t like the prominence of benzoin, balsam of Peru, and white amber on my skin. I hope it develops better on other people’s skin.

  • Perla Vencis

I was really eager to try this since Elie Saab EDP is one of my favorites, but this bottle didn’t convince me. It’s perhaps a very unisex chypre. Although it’s floral with citrus (orange blossom, tangerine, and bergamot), the flowers lose their prominence quickly, and the benzoin and balsam of Peru overshadow everything. What remains is a strong chypre where the flowers are barely noticeable. I’m removing it from my collection because I hate the notes of benzoin, balsam of Peru, and white amber, which are very prominent on my skin. Hopefully, it works better on someone else’s skin.

  • Ojos Claros

This one truly smells like a bride. Imagine your wedding with a perfume similar to Le Parfum Essentielle: jasmine, orange blossom, neroli, and rose, but with pear, peach, and almond instead of pear, rose, and iris. It’s clean, feminine, and elegant.

  • Smells extremely refined and elegant, starting with a citrus top note that transitions into white florals. On my dry skin, it’s soft and balsamic, almost vanilla-like, very close to the skin. The downside is that it changes a lot and doesn’t highlight the orange blossom as well as the original. If it weren’t for that, I would have bought it.
