Descripción
La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche by Guerlain is a green floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2015, this composition was created by perfumer Thierry Wasser. The top notes of lemon, bergamot, mandarin, and orange blossom provide a bright, citrusy opening. The heart unfolds a rich blend of almond blossom, sour cherry, freesia, strawberry, raspberry, peach, Turkish rose, Bulgarian rose, and sambac jasmine. Finally, the base notes reveal a touch of pistachio, almond, vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli, and white musk.

I’d like to smell it. I own the Petite Robe Noire (Parfum) and at first I loved it for its exoticism, but now I’m tired of it because it’s too strong and overwhelming. Well, I’d have to try this one to see… and by the way, Guerlain fragrances are very expensive.
Today I tried a sample and absolutely loved it: it’s fresh, a classic Guerlain chypre alongside their orientals, but so light it lacks a bit of character—that’s the only thing holding it back. It smells like the original La Petite Robe Noire, but without that red, acidic note that gave it a synthetic edge and stripped away some sophistication. Now, it’s the almonds and pistachio that carry this springtime, warm fragrance; citrus and wood are there, subtle but present. It’s innocent, sensual, very youthful and carefree, perfect for hot weather. Recommended. The longevity is moderate and the sillage very light, so if you’re like me, you might find the projection lacking, but discreet women will enjoy it to the fullest.
I tried a sample today and it’s very pleasant: fresh, indeed, it’s a chypre, Guerlain’s star alongside the orientals. However, its lightness is so great that it feels a bit timid to me; that’s its only drawback. The scent is similar to the first ‘La Petite Robe Noire’ but without the red, acidic note that took away its rigor and made it synthetic. Now it’s the almonds and pistachio that provide support to this spring fragrance; the citrus and woody notes are discreet. It’s candid yet sensual, jovial, carefree, and perfect for the heat. Recommended. Medium longevity, very light sillage; if you’re an exhibitionist, its softness will be your flaw, but discreet women will enjoy it to the maximum.
It’s elegant and fresh, ideal for spring or summer. It reminds me a lot of a Miss Dior version. Maybe it’s not as persistent as other ‘Le Petit’ fragrances, which I find heavy or sweet. This new version is green, floral, and slightly citrusy, though the last part doesn’t dominate. Recommended!
“Eau Fraiche”? The name is misleading; it’s actually Petal Dress Aquaura. Guerlain could be considered niche, or at least it was before LVMH bought them. For sure, it’s not designer. Here in Argentina, it has standard prices, even slightly cheaper than several designer brands (much less than Cartier, Hermès, or Lalique). The perfume is pleasant, but I find it a bit weak, especially the sillage.
I consider it precious, long-lasting, clean, youthful, and with a loving depth.
Fresh and moderate, it’s a discreet Guerlain eau de toilette with no great surprises. It’s rich but flat, not taking any risks. The white musk and bergamot stand out. A good option for those seeking light and fresh scents, but its longevity and sillage are very weak.
I think it’s a very pretty and cheerful fragrance. I adore its scent of cherries and wild berries, typical of pastry shops—very sweet—accompanied this time by almonds.
I tried it as a sample when buying another item and it became my summer perfume of ’15. I absolutely loved it; it’s a delicious blend of pistachio, cherries, and almond.
It’s almost identical to its sister LPRN EDP but fresher; I didn’t notice the citrus or pistachio notes that intrigued me so much. I liked it quite a bit, but I wouldn’t buy the bottle since I already own the other one and don’t see the point of having two similar scents, though I do recommend it as a good perfume.
This beautiful little sprite that seemed to jump out of a storybook is simply delicious and playful. At first it reminded me of the opening of Mia Me Mine from Halloween (due to the rose and musk aroma this combination smells like dry woody roses to me) but in a slightly sweet fresh and versatile version. But then the curious pistachio note settled on my skin which was the one that attracted me the most and stood out with the almond. To a certain point it seemed like an alcoholic cocktail you order at the beach to beat the heat. It’s a very youthful and pleasant fragrance with many notes and it’s a pity I can’t perceive all of them. But I can bet that its sweetness was the work of the strawberry vanilla and cherry. That slight natural sweetness is very well achieved. But I warn you it’s not lethally sweet; it’s like those sugar-free candies for diabetics that still maintain their essence. I must admit that this is how I expected Paris Et Moi by Jafra to smell. I smell LPRN Eau Fraiche and it transports me to the streets of Paris after it has rained. It’s quite friendly and stays on your skin like a confidant. Its scarce trail and short duration make me a bit disappointed. For the high price it has I expected these two to be excellent. Still I don’t rule out buying a full bottle in the future maybe around 30ml ♡ ♡ Aroma: 9/10 ♡ Trail: 5/10 ♡ Longevity: 5/10
This little fairy seems to jump out of a storybook; it’s delicious and playful. At first, it reminded me of the opening of Mia Me Mine by Halloween (roses and musk, smelling of dry, woody roses), but in a slightly sweeter, fresher, and more versatile version. Then comes that curious pistachio note that caught my attention, standing out alongside the almond; to a certain extent, it smells like a cocktail to beat the heat on the beach. It’s very youthful and pleasant, with many notes I can’t quite identify, but I’d bet its sweetness comes from strawberry, vanilla, and cherry. That natural sweetness is executed beautifully—it’s not overpowering, but more like sugar-free candies for diabetics that keep their essence. This is exactly how I hoped Paris Et Moi by Jafra would smell. It transports me to Parisian streets after the rain; it’s friendly and lingers on the skin like a confidant. I’m a bit disappointed by the short longevity and scarce sillage given the high price; I expected more. Still, I wouldn’t rule out buying a small bottle in the future. Scent: 9/10, Sillage: 5/10, Longevity: 5/10.
A sweet and fresh perfume. Ideal for daytime use. Good trail excellent longevity. A blend of lemon flowers and vanilla. I love it!
Very delicious and delicate. Although it shares similarities with Petite Robe Noire EDT, I can distinguish them in its opening and dry-down. This version has a more potent, citrusy opening with a certain softness, like a bakery essence—creamy and delicious. After five minutes, the familiarity with the EDT sets in, but it doesn’t last long because, unlike the EDT, I don’t feel it as sharp or overly almond-heavy; here, the rose steps in, and finally, the creaminess of a subtle vanilla is accentuated, well-supported by sweet and floral touches. It’s sweet but not gourmand, featuring a non-classic rose with good skin longevity without being heavy. The sillage is soft (though for me, who loves fresh perfumes, it’s not essential). If you’ve tried the EDPs and found them too potent, Petite Robe Noire EDT and this Fraiche version are two fragrances you shouldn’t miss.
Very rich and delicate perfume. While it has some closeness to the Petite Robe Noire EDT I would distinguish it mainly in its opening and dry-down. This version has a more potent citrusy opening although accompanied by a certain softness something like a pastry essence creamy and delicious. Now yes after 5-10 minutes you feel that familiarity with the EDT but it lasts very little because unlike the EDT I don’t feel it overly cherry or too almond here; the rose starts to participate but towards the end the creaminess of a not-so-obvious vanilla is accentuated well accompanied by its sweet and floral touches. Sweet but not in the gourmand sense with a rose note that is in no way classic and good longevity on skin without being heavy or overwhelming. Soft trail (although to me who likes fresh perfumes it’s not something indispensable). If you tried the EDPs and found them very potent the Petite Robe Noire EDT and this Fraiche version are two fragrances not to be missed.
Average. The typical sweet cherries and almonds of today’s Guerlain and as is also usual it’s hard to capture much more given the abstract and undefined nature of its notes and its short potency.
La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche: this one I really like. Its opening is fresh airy beautiful for summer. Obviously it’s sweet and quite a bit let’s not fool ourselves. But this time that beautiful opening makes it usable any time of year. I don’t know if it’s the pistachio maybe a pistachio in cold water how beautiful it is. Cherries in the base sweet and juicy playing with the sensation of a frozen stream. I even imagine mixing it with an ostentatiously green effervescent and aquatic perfume to prolong the effect. This perfume would be perfect for use in the middle of summer those days you miss sweet perfumes but don’t dare use them due to the nausea and heaviness they sometimes cause at certain temperatures. Or as an alternative for people who want to flirt with the sweet side but don’t dare buy a current bomb of massive destruction. La Petite Fraiche can serve as a bridge perfume to start flirting or stay without crossing the Willy Wonka border. I insist it’s sweet yes but it has a well-made lightness because it’s so from its opening to its end. I admit that as it settles you notice more cherries and almond but it holds back. Incredibly sprayed generously on chest arms neck and clothes it smells quite strong which I appreciate for summer in which nothing lasts for me. Proof from my companion Odette 🙂
How delicious it smells! It’s sweet yet fresh, delicate, and distinct from the rest. I liked it at first, and with continued wear, I’ve come to love it. It’s one of my best perfumes and always compliments me. I’m falling more in love with the Guerlain house every day. At first, you notice the orange and lemon, but over time it becomes more floral. I love it.
It smells so good! Sweet but fresh delicate distinct from the rest. At first I liked it but with repeated uses I’ve come to love it. One of the best perfumes I own and that always flatter. I like the house Guerlain more and more. At first you feel the orange and lemon and over time it becomes more floral. I love it.
After years of letting it pass, I decided to buy it blind… It’s exactly as I expected; I’ve liked it a lot. It’s a light and fresh eau de toilette with the line’s DNA, but more discreet. It stands out for not overwhelming with the fierce cherry of the EDP, but in a very light form. The pistachio stands out as promised by the brand, along with freesia, patchouli… all in harmony. As soon as the package arrived, I showered and tried it. What came to my mind? I think as we age we lean more towards ephemeral, less strong, and less ostentatious fragrances. We learn to choose according to the occasion, season, mood, or who will wear it. Not everything has to be strong and flashy; every perfume is special for its moment. Nothing has to be strong and attention-grabbing all the time; every perfume is special for its time. I thought about the ephemerality of life; people from ‘before’ drift away, time passes quickly… I think fragrances like these remind us of the brevity of our time. They go away like hesperides, in a short time, but they cheer us up, lift our spirits, sometimes make us sick or sad, put us in a nostalgic mood. They fulfill their function in their time, passing through our lives ‘for a reason’. That is their function: beautiful and delicate. I understood with time that perfume doesn’t have to be strong all the time, like we thought relationships should be eternal; that was a gross mistake. Everything has its time and place. This fragrance is for personal enjoyment, to feel light, calm, balanced. To feel that it gently embraces you, there without bothering or annoying. It’s for reflection. The almond note is notable, present but not too prominent or sweet like those in ‘Girl of Now’ by Elie Saab; they’re more like raw almonds from natural stores. Just like the pistachio. Nobody eats candied nuts in summer, so sweet almonds are for winter. The citrus (lemon, tangerine, bergamot), to my delight, tame the vanilla and balance the rest without being ordinary; they’re present but don’t stand out. I think that balance is the best. Also its freshness: as soon as you spray it, you feel the cold of perfumed water on the body, designed for hot days. To be perfumed without feeling body heat or sweat… I think it fulfills its function of quenching the skin’s thirst. The sillage is soft, as befits an eau fraiche that shouldn’t have a strong sillage to lose its nature. Longevity is given by the base notes. Patchouli accompanies the entire journey without overpowering. It’s a marvel. Happy I bought it in large quantity, I think it will be my favorite this summer of 2020.
After years of letting it pass I decided to buy this fragrance blind… It’s exactly as I expected; I really liked it. A light fresh water with the DNA of the rest of the line but more discreet. This one stands out because it doesn’t overwhelm with the furious cherry of the EDP; it’s there but very lightly. The pistachio note stands out as promised by the brand along with freesias patchouli… all in harmony. As soon as the package arrived home and I received it I took a quick shower and started to appreciate it… What came to my mind?? I think as we age we lean more towards ephemeral perfumes less strong and ostentatious. We learn to choose a perfume for every occasion season mood people who will smell it etc. Not everything has to be strong long-lasting and flashy… we learn to choose perfumes for every occasion and they are all special. I also thought about the ephemerality of life how people from before drift away from our lives coming and going lost in their daily routines not noticing how quickly time passes… and how soon we go we leave… we cease to exist. I think perfumes like these remind us of the brevity of our time; it goes like all the hesperid notes in a short time but they cheer us up lift our spirits sometimes make us sick sadden us make us nostalgic… they fulfill their function in their time they pass through our lives for a reason That is the function of these beautiful and delicate perfumes… I understood that with time. A perfume doesn’t have to be strong all the time just like we ourselves; fresh perfumes are worth it they revitalize us. Before I thought every perfume I bought had to last just like when I started relationships I thought they were forever all of them for a lifetime big mistake. Everything has its time and place… this fragrance is for personal enjoyment to feel light calm balanced. To feel it gently embracing you being there without bothering or offending anyone… it’s for reflection. The almond note is notable; it’s there but it doesn’t stand out too much or isn’t sweet like the almonds found in Girl of Now by Elie Saab… rather they are the unprocessed untreated almonds found in natural product stores. Same with the pistachio. Nobody eats candied nuts in summer and well that’s why sweet almonds are better in winter. The citrus-lemon tangerine bergamot blend to my pleasure tames the vanilla and balances the rest of the notes without being ordinary; they are present but don’t overpower. I think that balance is the best part of the perfume. Also its freshness; as soon as you spray it you feel the cold of the perfumed water on your body; undoubtedly it’s designed for very hot days. To be perfumed but without feeling the heat body temperature or sweat… I think it fulfills its function of quenching the skin’s thirst… The trail is soft and as it should be an eau fraîche shouldn’t have a heavy trail or it loses its nature. The longevity comes from the base notes. The patchouli is present throughout the perfume’s journey accompanying the notes without overpowering them. It’s a marvel. Happy to have acquired it in a large size; I think it will be my favorite summer 2020!!
I bought it blind online because it’s hard to find in stores. The first time I wore it I didn’t like it; it has a slight masculine touch. I decided to keep using it and grew to like it. I imagined it would be fresher based on the top notes but it seems more sweet with a constant hint of patchouli.
I searched for it like crazy online (I even bought it but there was a shipping issue) and just then I found out it’s still available in my city. It’s gorgeous; I was blown away by its longevity and the delicious patchouli dry-down. I loved it! I imagined it as lighter and brighter but it’s enveloping and substantial. You can appreciate quite a few of its notes throughout the phases. I’ll be back at the perfumerie to get my bottle as soon as I can because it deserves a spot in my collection.
So many delicious notes I imagined something else. Honestly it didn’t seem bad but nutty notes just don’t work on my skin. There was a sharp dominant note that prevented me from enjoying the fruity side. I didn’t find it funny; I was expecting something like LPRN Intense but softer and it had nothing to do with that.
