Descripción
Narciso Rodriguez For Her by Narciso Rodriguez is a musky floral woody fragrance for women. Launched in 2003, this composition was created by Christine Nagel and Francis Kurkdjian. The top notes unfold with African orange blossom, osmanthus, and bergamot; the heart reveals musk and amber; while the base notes settle into vetiver, patchouli, and vanilla. The perfume has been awarded two FiFi Awards: Fragrance of the Year Women's Nouveau Niche in 2004 and again in 2007.

It’s in my top 3 favorite perfumes in the world. It’s addictive, a unique and uncommon scent, a classy perfume. If you have the chance to buy it, do it.
Too much bergamot, no evolution. It has good projection and lasts more than 8 hours on my skin, but honestly, I let myself be guided by reviews hoping to find amber, vanilla, and wood, and all I smell is musky white flowers.
I didn’t like it; the musk made me dizzy and even gave me nausea. Its projection on me was good, and its eternal longevity wouldn’t budge even with a shower—it was torture trying to give it a chance.
I bought it two years ago. At first, I hesitated because its opening is a bit ‘dirty’ and somewhat old-school, but after a few minutes, its magic appears: very musky, but balanced with amber, white flowers, and a bit of vanilla. I’m not a vanilla fan, but here it softens the other notes and results in something very elegant. I love it so much that I wore it to my wedding. If it hadn’t been summer, I would have worn its sibling Musc Noir Rose, which is my favorite.
Neither here nor there; it smells like talc and a girl. I got a 15ml bottle as a gift when I bought its sibling Pure Musc (which I drool over), and the mix of the two is more interesting; on its own, it lacks mystery. The longevity and sillage are acceptable. I keep it at my partner’s place and wear it when I’m there; he definitely likes it 🙂
Something weird happens with this perfume. I didn’t like it at all at first; it smelled dirty and unpleasant. I tried it again after some time, and my perception changed completely. Now it feels different: super musky with an animal touch, the osmanthus gives it an exotic fruity note, and the white flowers… it hooked me and stayed with my senses. You have to give it a chance because it’s complex.
It’s strong, heavy, and very night-time. It definitely grabs attention, ultra-long-lasting, and feminine. At first, I thought it was cloying, but then I realized it’s more of a dive bar perfume.
Sexy? To me, it smells sterile, reminding me of operating rooms. It’s cold. Luckily, I only bought a decant.
I tested it on blotter paper, and while it’s not groundbreaking, it smells delicious… but only on paper. I think it’s a hyper-feminine scent; on paper, I smell flowers and don’t detect much musk, but on skin, it’s a whole different story. I saw it at a good price, and maybe one day I’ll add it to my collection because of the hype.
It’s the perfect life companion: it envelops you with creaminess, never bothers, and stays with you always. I recommend it for fall, winter, and spring. Try it at different times; like everything Narciso, it never disappoints.
Refined, elegant, musky, with a touch of talc. I mostly detect the osmanthus. I’d been wanting to try it for a while and it was a very pleasant surprise. It has good sillage and moderate longevity. I loved it so much.
I bought the 30 ml because as a fragrance enthusiast, I had to own this iconic scent. But it’s not for me: it feels overwhelming and just ‘not my style,’ even though I do like it when I smell it on someone else. I use one drop before bed because it lasts well, though I have to keep using it up. When I’m done, I’ll keep the bottle but won’t repurchase for myself. I’d much rather go with ‘Pure Musc’ or ‘Musc Noir,’ which I absolutely adore.
Smells incredible. I like it more than the Rosa. Does anyone else get a peach note from the osmanthus? I don’t get why people say it smells like sweat. I wish my sweat smelled like this after 5 hours in an airless classroom full of kids 😆. Everyone knows what it smells like. A great innovation that will last for decades. 10/10.
I tried it but can’t handle it; I don’t find it pleasant. It feels like an old perfume, one I’ve smelled many times before. The musk overwhelms me; it feels spicy, not mysterious, and gets tiring. I also notice too much vetiver in the base; while I like it in other scents, here it just smells like ‘old lady.’
I took a chance and bought it blind, worried about the negative reviews. What a surprise: its ultra-feminine aroma wraps around me and makes me feel beautiful. I’m already on the second bottle. I love it for nighttime events like concerts; people always compliment it and guys ask what I’m wearing. I find it refined, elegant, youthful, mysterious, and feminine. It’s now part of my collection. Simply stunning.
It’s an elegant perfume, the kind you expect from a woman with presence, but in my case, the musk feels tiring and strong. I don’t enjoy wearing it beyond half an hour. It’s too overwhelming, reminiscent of old perfumes, and ultimately, it wasn’t what I expected.
Pleasant upon application, powerful yet not suffocating. It makes you feel empowered, lasts incredibly long, and even longer on clothes; it doesn’t feel like an EDT given its longevity. I’ll definitely buy it again!
The upside of spending a bit more than usual is the feeling of ‘enough, I’ll stop collecting.’ Before, I’d try Natura, 4711, or cheap sale brands… until I finally chose this Narciso and Pure Musc. I spent money, but now I smell refined, delicate, and without being overwhelming. I’m thrilled with both.
Nothing beats Fleur Musc, but I absolutely love this one too: elegant, sophisticated, and tender. It lasts forever on my skin, especially on clothes.
It’s pure musk. If you don’t like this note, forget it. It’s the classic Narciso musk: clean, powdery, with a touch of sweetness. Understated, elegant, and timeless.
First time a fragrance with osmanthus made a good first impression on me. Soapy, clean, definitely not fresh but not dense either—a balanced and perfect scent for daily use. It doesn’t seem too casual, yet not overly elegant; it’s ideal for anyone who wants to smell clean in their everyday routine, like at the office.
Beautiful and great for continuous wear. It lingers on your clothes and skin for a very long time. It reminds me of Idille and Splendida Magnolia Sensual, though I must say I smell it differently depending on the season; it always surprises me. It’s very versatile in its behavior. Worth buying.
To me, it’s not truly powdery. I get a slightly green, fresh rose note first, followed by a velvety effect. It’s suitable for everyday wear. In my case, it’s not a bomb that stands out like I’ve felt with others, and the longevity was around 4 hours. It didn’t kill me, but I’m not coming back to this one.
The powdery top note fades after about 20 minutes and turns into a blend of musk, amber, and osmanthus. I have mixed feelings because it smells exactly like my grandmother’s house. It’s pretty, but I don’t wear it because it reminds me of her. It does last a long time, though.
It has a nice scent, but there’s a little note that bothers me. It lasts FOREVER on my skin and clothes, but I didn’t like that signature smell, haha! I have mixed feelings about this one; I bought it once but never felt like repurchasing it.
Pure elegance, femininity, and versatility. A cleaner, less animalic musk, but certainly warm and not so soapy on my skin, intermingled with the osmanthus that adds a light, fruity, velvety touch, especially at the beginning. Initially, it feels quite powdery, but as it dries down, it becomes much more amber and slightly sweet. Personally, I like it more than the EDP, which I find fruitier at the start but above all sharper in the musk and floral notes. In its dry down, they are very, very similar. Its performance is excellent for an EDT; it lasts all day at work. In summary: a clean, neat, all-terrain scent ideal for daily wear. I don’t have it in my collection yet, but I’m not ruling it out.
This fragrance was almost a blind buy; I say almost because I could only smell it briefly on a strip among many others (about 15) where everything got mixed up without any concrete idea, but something in those few seconds of smelling it made me know I’d love it and a lot. I received it today, and while it was a surprise, it wasn’t too much of one; it exceeds my expectations since it’s exactly what I wanted. The first few seconds of its projection, something strong scared me a bit, but after a few minutes of settling on my skin, the magic appeared (let’s not even talk about the dry down). I still can’t say anything about the longevity yet, as I’ve only worn it for about 3 hours and I feel it all the time, and it’s beautiful. It’s as if it highlights the scent of clean skin in its best version. A flawless, exquisite fragrance that makes me sigh and want to always smell like this. Completely in love.
At first, I notice faint, white, silent accords; honestly, it smells good on me. It stays clean, smelling like good soap, and ends with a decent trail. On my skin, the longevity is a point in its favor. Okay, so far so good. Would I buy it again? No. Why? Because it smells like a good girl, a rich girl, a girl going horseback riding on a spring Sunday through her dad’s fields, flawlessly dressed for the occasion with her long hair blowing in the wind. It’s not that I don’t like this ‘vibe’; it’s that I have very little of that ‘good girl’ in me. It’s not for me, but I wouldn’t throw it away either. It deserves a try. Try it first… 🙂
I tried it with a sample, and the first impression was that it had a huge sillage that overwhelmed and suffocated me. It calmed down after a few minutes, and I could notice a very floral scent with a citrus touch that becomes almost soapy over time, and a woody base with a green note. However, despite all the notes smelling fresh, the perfume feels a bit nocturnal and heavy. Once it settles on my skin, the vetiver becomes much more prominent; I can almost see it right in front of my eyes. In summary, it seems like a feminine, sophisticated, and in my opinion, somewhat mature perfume. The first impression is that it’s a bit generic and typical, but once it dries down, it becomes a bit more interesting. Update: I’ve worn the perfume for more than 24 hours, and it still smells on my skin; the longevity is almost infinite.
NR perfumes really hit the spot. This fragrance is gorgeous and unique. It’s worth the price; for me, it’s unisex, yet so elegant, sober, classic, timeless, clean, and balanced. It’s not the classic romantic perfume I usually wear, but it stands out for being different and much more formal. I even feel it projects the wearer’s personality. A truly gentlemanly scent that, in my opinion, shouldn’t be missing from any collection.
I gave it to my mother years ago and she loved it. Since then, it’s her go-to perfume; every time she wears it, she receives a compliment. You have to know that it’s a fragrance where musk predominates, plus a musk that is neither discreet nor precisely soft; it has body, trail, and good longevity. As it dries down, the other notes become noticeable; specifically, I detect amber and vetiver. I don’t manage to perceive the osmanthus, I suppose due to lack of experience. Therefore, I believe it’s more suitable for autumn and winter. It gives a sensation of warmth and cleanliness, of purity. It has a touch of elegance, sensuality, and class; you can feel the quality of its ingredients. Without a doubt, it’s a beautiful perfume.
A totally enchanting and clean cologne. Notable and opulent. This is the ultimate proof of a fragrance. It smells so damn good that I had to buy it, because besides, for me, it’s 60% unisex. I’m totally confident wearing this beauty, and whenever friends have asked me, the answer has been simple: the vast majority of fragrances have no gender. You wear perfume because you like how you smell… we also know that there are (within the declared total female fragrances) others that a man, well, I don’t think he could wear them if he wants to smell with a ‘unisex tone with a slight less masculine twist’.
Love at first sniff! This fragrance is my absolute favorite in perfumery. It has an intense opening, dark green with a soft, subtle acidity. Delicious! You can feel the intensity of the amber wrapped in osmanthus, which gives it that hypnotic aroma along with a fresh touch. The musk and vanilla provide softness and a slight sweetness, while the patchouli adds a very subtle earthiness. Together with the vetiver and the rest of the notes, it makes me perceive it as a quite cozy fragrance, perfect for low temperatures (autumn and winter). Regarding the main chords, as I perceive them, they would be: first, the amber, followed by a strongly animalic note, then the musky, powdery, woody, green, white floral, citrus, and sweet tones. I can’t explain the sensations this fragrance gives me. The word that best describes it for me is hypnotic. It also gives me the feeling of an elegant perfume from other times, which at the same time evokes a sense of memories and nostalgia that would be impossible to describe in words. It’s a mature fragrance, with an animalic, overwhelming, and intense personality on a soft, delicate, and cozy base.
I met the EDP version through my aunt when I was 14; every time I greeted her after coming home from work, I fell in love with the scent she wore. By 14, I already knew that when I grew up, I was going to buy a Narciso Rodriguez. I was crazy. A few years ago, a perfumer gave me a sample of this EDT, and it convinced me even more. For me, if elegance, sensuality, and mystery had a scent, it would be this perfume. You can feel the quality the brand handles in the very first spray. I love it forever.
Honestly, I see this as a perfume for a woman over 50 who suffers from incontinence and tries to mask her odor with it. It’s the typical lady scent that smells strong and sweaty in the crotch area.
@Hannibal, you’ve set a record. In over ten years on Fragrantica, you’ve managed to win the award for the most unpleasant review I’ve ever read. You, possibly, will never suffer from urinary incontinence (when you finally emerge from the puberty you should still be immersed in, you probably have other things going on), but know this: without those women over 50 with urinary incontinence, you would never have been born. And hey, a disagreeable, ignorant, and rude person less than the world would have lost. But fine, I suppose you won’t even understand this comment given your solitary neuron, which for all it’s worth, is just used to echo in your immature brain.
Literally a bath of musk. I have other fragrances I like that feature musk in their composition, but in just the right measure. Here, I only perceive musk and a hint of acidic bergamot. A debut and a farewell.
I’ve worn this for a few years. For me, it’s synonymous with sophistication, elegance, and power. I’d buy it again; it’s for those occasions where you need to make a presence without screaming that you’re there. I don’t use it daily, but the performance on skin and clothes is great.
If you want people to call you nostalgic and look at you with that reverential fear of ‘who let grandma out?’, here’s the perfect fragrance. All the luxury of smelling like history, but without the grace of being remembered as such.
So beautiful, super delicate and feminine, clean and elegant. A work of art ♥️
