Descripción

Tonka Cola by Mancera is an oriental spicy fragrance from the olfactive family, created for men and women. Launched in 2022, this olfactive composition was designed by perfumer Pierre Montale. In its opening, the fragrance unfolds an explosion of cinnamon, cherry, Sicilian lemon, and nutmeg. The heart reveals a refreshing combination of Coca-Cola, Indonesian patchouli leaves, and orange blossom. The base settles on tonka bean, vanilla, benzoin, and labdanum, closing the structure with an enveloping warmth.

  • It’s a super rich fragrance, ideal for vanilla lovers with a spiced and different twist, thanks to the effervescence of Coca-Cola. I loved it at first sniff, thought of fireworks, and already regretted not buying the 120 ml instead of the 60. The cinnamon is very noticeable, giving it a beautiful and festive vibe. I want to wear it every day, especially in winter. The cherry isn’t very noticeable 😢😌. The only thing that hasn’t convinced me is that the sillage isn’t as wide as I expected, and the longevity on my skin is about five or six hours. The essence itself gets a 10, but the sillage and longevity stay at 6/10. A review on YouTube is coming soon ❤️🥰 @dearmakeupdiary

  • It hit me hard upon arrival: cherry, cola, and patchouli at full blast, almost giving me nausea, but after half an hour it drops down to leave cinnamon, incense, and cola. After an hour, it’s a cocktail of cola with lemon, cherry, cinnamon, and incense. It smells great, but watch out for the amount and timing, because it can make you dizzy. It’s a curious perfume, like vintage mixed with cola and cherry; Aögo is extravagant and hard to understand because it mixes both things at once. Gourmand? Yes, but the vintage touch wins out. Sweet? Also. I’d wear it a 20-year-old girl or my 70-year-old mother.

  • It’s like mixing Enigma with Feve Delicieuse and Oajan, but without the performance of those. If you shake it all up, you get Tonka Cola.

  • What a pity this fragrance is on my skin. I bought it blind because I love Montale and Mancera perfumes; I expected a sweet, long-lasting bomb like I’m used to, but it literally smells like tomato sauce on my skin. The sillage and longevity are very poor. I hope it’s not that these brands are starting to fail in those aspects.

  • AdrianoParfums

This one doesn’t speak to me; I expected more from this fragrance. It doesn’t even come close to its sisters, like Red Tobacco.

  • JohnMilton, I really hope Tonka Cola delivers the same quality as the other three you mentioned. For me, it’s been a total disappointment, both in quality and performance.

  • I almost bought this perfume blind, thinking it would be safe for me. What relief not to have done so! At first, it reminds me of Coca-Cola, but it smells like Coca-Cola soap if such a thing existed. Sometimes I catch a hint of cherry at the start and tobacco as it dries. It’s not sweet, but spiced. The tonka is there, but it’s not the main focus. On my skin, it has low projection and leans more masculine. I can’t judge the duration well since it was just a sample, but it wasn’t bad. Personally, I didn’t like it. Scent: 4.5/10, Longevity: N/A, Sillage: 5/10, Value: N/A, Versatility: 6/10, Packaging: 7/10. Would I buy again? No.

  • At first, it smells exactly like acidic Coca-Cola candies with sugar on top. The lemon and cherry give it a sparkling yet sweet touch. After a while, it becomes a more spiced and warm soda, like a vanilla Coca-Cola with hints of cinnamon. Very different, extravagant, and fun. It’s not what I expected from the signature line. I’m not sure about the profile, as it seems youthful at first but is powerful and dense. I absolutely loved it, it made me smile the moment I smelled it, and it captivated me as it dried down. Even the name is playful, ‘Tonka Cola’. It seems like the luxury version of my beloved Versace Blue Jeans.

  • I really liked it, as the one below says, it smells like Coca-Cola candies. The only thing is that it gives the impression of being half-finished, as if it’s missing ingredients to round it out; I think it’s more of an accord than a perfume. That said, I absolutely loved it.

  • anamaestracorreo

Spiced Coca-Cola, the cinnamon is noticeable. The cherry stays in the background. Unisex fragrance. I only spray 2 times and it works well for me. It gives the vibe of Zara’s Sand Desert. If you like this or Khamra, Tonka Cola is a blind buy. If Instans Crush is the inspiration for Baccarat Rouge, Tonka Cola is the inspiration for Ángel Share (same vibe).

  • Dama Incognita

It’s the first fragrance from the brand I know, and I absolutely love it! It literally smells like Coca-Cola sodas with cherry from the USA, with a touch of cinnamon and lemon that gives a seltz sensation. In the evolution, a spiced tonka predominates that stands out on my skin as it dries down. I already want it; I hope it arrives in my country because so far I’ve only managed to get a decant.

  • Smells like cold cherry Coca-Cola, projects quite well, and lasts a long time. If you have money for just one perfume and are looking for something for everything, don’t go for this, but if you’re a collector or like curiosities, get it in your collection, at least the 50 ml.

  • Mancera is still good for entering the niche world, and this Tonka Cola proves they know how to create pleasant, unpretentious scents. It delivers what it promises: Coca-Cola? Indeed. I don’t notice distinct phases, but rather a sticky sensation from the start where cinnamon dominates, slightly fresh at first due to the citrus, then a non-fizzy soda aroma that isn’t for everyone. Thanks to the tonka bean and the sweet, resinous base, it becomes sweeter, with just the right strength without being cloying, although the patchouli is noticeable. Ideal for lovers of sweet and spiced scents, casual, young adults, with 7 hours of longevity, perfect for autumn and winter.

  • I like it; the opening is Ceylon or Cassia cinnamon (spicy) with Coca-Cola sweets and cherry. After the initial hit, it leaves a scent of Coca-Cola and cherry with lots of vanilla and tonka bean sweetness. It’s playful, ideal for daily wear in cool-weather climates, better for night. The downside is that the cinnamon feels synthetic, detracting from its value. Worth it. With more experience, the opening is Coca-Cola gummies, cherry, spicy cinnamon, and Sicilian lemon, but as it dries down, the cinnamon dominates, with a creamy patchouli, tonka bean, vanilla, and benzoin resin. Definitely for autumn and winter.

  • One of the most fun fragrances I’ve tried. The opening evokes Coca-Cola candies with a string of sour candies, giving way to something manly and enigmatic. I’d gift this to a man with a good sense of humor. I recommend it; I’m fascinated by the cinnamon note.

  • vladidelmundo

A carefree fragrance that delivers on its promise, although its real name should be Cinnamon-Cola: an exquisite, spiced cola candy scent. It’s a bit flat but has great harmony. Too bad it doesn’t stand out in projection or sillage, as the aroma is addictive, but buying Mancera no longer guarantees a bomb. If it had more body, it would be a 10; it’s an excellent signature scent, but it just lacks punch.

  • Felipe Carvajal

Undoubtedly, this is a beast of a fragrance. Upon opening, it smells of cinnamon and lemon, without the Coca-Cola note, but once applied to the skin, everything changes; you can even feel the fizz in your nose. The blend of cinnamon, lemon, and cherry in a cocktail with Coca-Cola is incredible. Lasts 8 to 9 hours with great projection.

  • Gervinmorales1

For me, this fragrance starts with a strong chemical cola and cherry smell, like washing a cheap candy with a can of Dr. Pepper. After 10 minutes, the cola fades and gives way to warm, spicy nutmeg. Almost simultaneously, a strong benzoin emerges, enveloping you in a cloud of incense that reminds me of an Orthodox church with a priest lighting incense. Over time, the aroma transports me to a place of luxury where everything smells of ‘status’. The fragrance’s life ends with the fading of the notes, supported by vanilla and tonka bean. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel the interplay of cinnamon and patchouli; for me, they simply weren’t there. P.S.: Longevity on my skin is excellent, almost 8 hours strong and another 4 hours of fading scent.

  • What a thrill to try an original and different perfume. I have a sample I’ve used a couple of times and love it, but I prefer it on a man, since the dry down is very masculine. If the cola, lemon, and cinnamon notes dominated throughout, there would be no problem, but over time, patchouli and benzoin emerge, and the scent becomes soapy, like a mature man’s grooming product with a vintage vibe. Very fun and excellent performance.

  • On the other hand, I was hoping for a fresher, fizzier cola scent. Does it smell like cola? Yes, but more like cola candies (think Selz) and old-fashioned sarsaparilla. Then it carries a touch of Mancera’s Lemon Line and high doses of cinnamon. I haven’t disliked it at all. It’s a good fragrance with great performance, original and fun; I’m sure many people will love it… simply it’s not my favorite tea (or cola 😉).

  • Tonka Cola: A sweet, sharp opening of cherry, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Middle: The initial blend lives up to the name, with a potent, indulgent, and fun note of Coca-Cola emerging. Dry down: It settles into a cola scent that gradually becomes resinous and clean. Projection and longevity: About 4-5 hours of projection and nearly 8 hours of longevity. Conclusion: Oily, sweet, and sparkling—so much fun! It’s an extremely festive fragrance that invites you for a walk under the sun or to the beach to end up at a nighttime party. The cola note is realistic and exquisite, giving a resinous finish that keeps it from being cloying. I rarely write this enthusiastically about a sweet scent, but Tonka Cola has won me over.

  • Tonka Cola: Opening: A sweet and sharp burst of cherry, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Heart: The initial blend lives up to its name, featuring a powerful, very indulgent, and fun note of Coca-Cola. Dry Down: The final stage is defined by a Coca-Cola note that gradually becomes slightly resinous and clean. Projection and Longevity: Projection lasts about 4-5 hours, with longevity around 8 hours. Conclusion: Sharp, sweet, and sparkling… incredibly fun! It’s a supremely festive fragrance that invites you to walk under the sun and go to the beach to end up at a night party. The Coca-Cola note is very realistic and exquisite, giving way to a slightly resinous and clean finish that prevents it from being cloying (which is a relief). Rarely do I write with such enthusiasm about a sweet perfume, but I have to admit that Tonka Cola has hooked me and fallen in love with it.

I never expected anything less from Pierre Montale… Tonka Cola is a full-on experience. It opens with a fun, sharp burst of cherry, lime, and nutmeg that wraps you in a warm bubble, giving way to a heart of tonka bean, vanilla, and benzoin that round it off deliciously. Not for formal occasions, but perfect for a lively afternoon or night out with friends. One of the few fragrances I’d buy again to keep in stock.

  • Smells like those sweets sold in Chile called ‘Media hora’. More than Coca-Cola, it’s very similar to that candy; it’s equally delicious and striking, maybe usable for a party in weather that’s neither too cold nor too hot. Good perfume. 8.5/10.

  • It smells like those sweets sold in Chile called ‘Media hora’. More than Coca-Cola, it’s very similar to that candy; still, it’s a rich and striking perfume, perhaps usable for some party in weather that isn’t too cold or too hot. Good perfume. 8.5/10.

  • Explosive opening that wonderfully evokes the fizz of Coca-Cola, with citrus, nutmeg, and cinnamon, dressing up a delicious cherry. It’s deceptive because the start seems youthful and feminine, but as it dries, it becomes serious and unisex. Good perfume with many twists, even with a smoky, spicy touch. Regarding performance, I’m quite disappointed; I expected more, though I wear it in summer over 30 degrees. I’ll have to try it in colder, more humid climates.

  • Ulises Sandoval

The most special fragrance I’ve ever smelled. I don’t own it right now, but it’s unique, complex, playful, and serious all at once. It’s one of those perfumes that makes you think for a long time. If you get the chance, buy it; I regret not having it yet.

  • eliexerferrer

Unique scent. I never buy blind, but I tried this with my girlfriend and it blew our minds. At first, it was skin-close, but after two hours, it started projecting beastly; we looked at each other and said how good it smells. We kept walking and got another burst—just one spray on my forearm. The next day, I could still smell it faintly. That performance made me buy it: I was torn between this and Cedrat Boise, but two hours later, the other felt like nothing. Great purchase.

  • I bought it blind since I love spicy perfumes and it was a total hit. Sweet cinnamon with touches of lemon sweetened by cherry, that’s all in the opening; then you feel a Coke with lemon and spicy notes, at least I can sense some fizziness. It’s delicious, long-lasting, but you have to be careful with sprays in enclosed spaces. It’s not for everyone. But if you like spicy, sweet, and unique, it might be for you.

  • Its proposal is original and bold, marking a clear difference from the excess of conventional fragrances. The main essence, which recalls the sweet version of a classic cola, presents itself almost like a wink to candies and gummies, making it clear that the inspiration goes beyond the simple drink. The opening is effervescent and playful: notes of lemon, cherry, and cinnamon appear simultaneously in a sparkling start, evoking the bubbling freshness of a cherry soda. However, this fleeting prelude quickly gives way to the endearing presence of the cola note, which settles in with determination. This transition, almost like the closing act of a theater play, creates a surprising effect where nostalgia merges with modernity. As the perfume settles, its character evolves into a more complex and mature facet. The dry down reveals a soapy and spicy touch that, far from being a mere addition, gives Tonka Cola an unexpected and disconcerting air. For some, this combination may result in intrigue, an invitation to explore unconventional nuances; for others, it may feel a bit distant, like an experiment that challenges limits. In a way, Tonka Cola stands as an evolved and sophisticated version of Versace’s iconic Blue Jeans, adding depth. It’s not a perfume meant to be a daily staple, but rather an olfactory indulgence for those moments when you seek a different and memorable experience. Its longevity, hovering around six hours, makes it a perfect choice for occasional occasions where its unique personality can truly be appreciated. Its originality and complexity make it worth revisiting, although for those who prefer more discreet or versatile scents, it may feel a bit daring.

  • This is interesting; it has that slight sparkle that makes it different, but I was surprised by its scarce or non-existent longevity… this isn’t normal for Mancera perfumes.

  • Kudos to Mancera for launching this type of fragrance; nothing like what’s on the market. It opens with an effervescent Coke note accompanied by a very prominent lemon. As it dries down, it fixes the cinnamon, nutmeg, and more spices. After 5 or 6 hours, the dry down is a sweet and sour lemon, ugh. It has more sharpness in its notes when used at night or on very fresh mornings.

  • Tonka Cola, I was dying to try it based on the reviews. I ordered a 10ml decant to test it first since I’ve been let down by several others. At first, it’s Coke with a candy twist—I don’t know if you’ve tried the bottle-shaped candies with a candy twist inside, it brought back childhood memories. But after 5 minutes, things change. The Coke fades and other notes emerge; it’s less of a perfume and more of an air freshener. I don’t detect the cherry or any other notes, mostly patchouli. It seemed feminine in the dry down, but afterwards it’s not, I see it as more unisex leaning masculine. Clearly not for me. Another Mancera letdown, just like with Coco Vanilla. Glad it was just a sample. Anyone who can enjoy it, good for them.

  • Want a cologne that people love, that stands out, and that makes them ask what it is? It’s this one. Great for night out and dates, to turn heads and please everyone. In my opinion, it doesn’t break the mold we’re used to with perfumes, but it has something sexy, like the smell of a Coca-Cola lollipop, but add cherry and cinnamon; those last two notes play an incredible role in the fragrance. For me, it’s definitely in the top 3 of Mancera.

  • A fun fragrance. The effervescent Coke note is just like when you pop the cap, then the cinnamon and cherry come through, like the soda without the fizz. It’s not a beast mode; longevity and sillage are moderate. A good option for fall and winter; I appreciate brands releasing distinct scents.

  • valentinophantom

Smells like flat Coca-Cola. Nothing else. I don’t detect cherry, cinnamon, or anything else, just Coke that I left in the fridge three hours ago with the cap loose.

  • Terrible. It smells exactly like a generic brand soda trying to emulate classic Coca-Cola but failing. I don’t sense any extra notes besides flat soda.

  • Clari Soriano

I gave it 2 stars because the cinnamon doesn’t bother me as much as I expected, even though I usually hate it. The Coke note is there, but it smells like it’s gone bad 😖. The only saving grace is the longevity and sillage, and wow, the oil is incredible, so spray it from a distance.
