My favorite perfume, definitely a masterpiece. Dense, dark, creamy… with a pleasant citrus and ginger opening, followed by amber vanilla and woods. Absolutely crazy. Totally unisex, though men with a fragile sense of masculinity might find it a bit feminine; honestly, it suits women better, but I don’t care. It’s incredibly sexy, you can tell it’s expensive, lasts long, and projects well without being overwhelming. Everyone will notice you, but without being heavy.

WORTH EVERY EURO IT COSTS. IF YOU HAVE THIS, YOU’LL NEVER NEED ANOTHER GOURMAND FRAGRANCE. ONLY NAXOS COMPETES WITH IT; THE REST IS NOWHERE NEAR COMPETITING. BRAVO.

I don’t get the people who think it’s simple and don’t like it; I’m not bothered, everyone has their tastes, but I don’t understand. I think it’s super versatile and unisex; maybe I wouldn’t wear it at 35°C, but never say never. It’s sweet, spicy, warm, and fresh all at once, perfect for any occasion. A solid 10.

After that, you’ll just enjoy the best sweet perfume in the industry!

Wow, what a beauty. Love at first sniff. I think I’ve possibly found a signature scent without even looking for one. It might be a unisex aroma, but it has a very feminine personality. It’s secure yet delicate, that kind of quiet, calm confidence so typical of a woman. It has an educated, restrained joy; it’s precious, absolutely.

A vanilla-infused Hacivat that makes it elegant and neutrally unisex. The fresh, citrusy opening is immediately dominated by vanilla and woods, which stay alongside that characteristic earthy patchouli scent. At the end, the vanilla persists strongly with a smoky touch, very rich. Excellent fragrance, though I prefer the Hacivat; however, this one will surely be perfect for vanilla lovers.

It’s a scent that denotes cleanliness! It has an opening with pink pepper, a fascinating smell that makes it a bit sweet. Then you feel exquisite cardamom, which, when combined with the pepper and a resinous tone, makes it feel like you’re smelling a sweet liqueur 😋😋 Although it’s more of a nighttime perfume, I see it as very wearable; you could use it for any occasion (I even wear it to the gym). It has great performance, about 8 hours, with very good sillage. A discrete and very versatile fragrance, I’d say. A bit similar to Lattafa’s Khamrah, though this one is more versatile. 💯% recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️

Finally, I reached Ani, and it’s so beautiful. I had tried it before, but after getting a sample, I wanted more and more. I love its strong ginger note; it’s a very original, citrusy vanilla, but a different, very cheerful citrus vanilla. Unisex, definitely. It has something that makes you return to it again and again. In years, it’s one of the few that has arrived to stay; that’s a lot because I’m fickle and easily in love with perfumes. I think it’s a perfect representation of modern, carefree vanilla for anyone and any occasion. A gift for the nose.

An exquisite perfume. It rests on a perfect balance between citrus, spicy, and vanilla notes, combined with supreme ingredient quality, making its aroma unique, perfect, and addictive. A touch of subtle, stimulating sweetness, elegant, original, sparkling, and attractive. Even if you’re not a fan of vanilla perfumes, this always conquers. Longevity is very good, and sillage too. It doesn’t fall into the beast mode category, nor does it need to, but it lasts 8-9 hours on my skin with medium-high sillage for two hours, followed by sustained medium sillage throughout its development. Unisex. Highly recommended.

ANI has had me crazy for months, and I only managed to buy it a few weeks ago. I waited so long because, after reading reviews, it was heavily criticized for the longevity of the new batches, and I didn’t want to spend that much on something that would last a little. I understand it was reformulated in 2022; while there are criticisms of the 2021 batch, I got one from February 2021 and I couldn’t complain. As soon as I removed the cellophane from the box, I felt the perfume with force, and it intensified when I opened it. In my opinion, it has a heavy and perceptible trail, and it lasted me more than 12 hours on skin. It has a citrusy and ‘spiky’ opening, evolving into an incredible spicy and creamy vanilla. I’m fascinated by its evolution; every time I smell it, I’m surprised. I love it with all my heart; I can’t put into words how happy I am to have it 🤎

I have a 5 ml decant of ANI Nishane, so maybe I can’t judge it completely, but I’m sure that after half an hour with two sprays on each forearm, I felt a very recognizable smell (90% similar) to Halloween Man X. That sweetness while drying down to skin-level is the same… I checked the notes and the only thing they match according to the website is cardamom and bergamot, which makes the similarity in the drydown strange. What I am sure of is that whether it’s the vanilla of ANI or the tonka bean of Halloween Man X, they are going down the same path to sweetness.

I smelled it first in the bottle and it seemed delicious. When I applied it to my skin… oh, disappointment. It comes out like an insect repellent with lots of citronella, I don’t know why I perceive that note. In the drydown it improves but I don’t like the aroma at all, for me it’s a strange mixture. It wasn’t for me.

I’m in love with Cécile… everything she touches I like. And ANI was love at first sight. Those aromas where as soon as one molecule touches your pituitary, you hear Gregorian chants. For me, it’s perfect in both scent and performance. I’m reading that the latest batches have longevity problems… Well, I can’t say it’s not true. Next month I’ll buy a new bottle because I’m already finishing the one I have and I’ll be able to judge it myself. But what I can say is that the one I have now is working wonderfully. Without being an exaggerated skin longevity, about 6 hours hold up perfectly and with a measured but effective projection. It doesn’t flood any room, but in a close conversation it’s noticeable. That sparkling, citrusy opening that gives you goosebumps on your nose from the red pepper, bergamot, and ginger; a spicy and oriental transition thanks to the cardamom that takes you in a whirlwind to a fascinating sweetness of the best quality vanilla, where benzoin is submerged and finishes off with the creaminess of sandalwood, ambergris, and cedar. THIS IS WASTE NOT! It makes the skeptic a believer. In summary: Age 20+, 100% Unisex. Any climate, although I prefer it in cooler weather. Scent: 10/10. Longevity: 7.5/10. Duration: 6-7 h. Projection: 8.5/10. Versatility: 9/10. $$$$ Final Score: 8.6/10. UPDATE: my worst fears were confirmed. I just bought a new bottle and, much to my dismay, I can affirm that the new batches of ANI are not what they used to be. It has lost strength, that’s true, but the longevity is still good and the projection, although intimate, is present. It’s true that for a perfume at 345 euros and with Nishane’s fame, you expect an unstoppable beast, a Bengal tiger… but what you receive is an Iberian lynx, at most. Disappointing. Despite everything, it remains in my Top 5, because the essence remains. Scent: 10/10. Longevity: 6/10. Duration: 5-6 h. Projection: 6/10. Versatility: 9/10. $$$$ 3.45 €/ml. Final Score: 8/10.
