I love it! I’ll probably use it as my signature. My pH is strong, and it’s rare for anything to last on me, but this exceeded my expectations. Fresh aroma, mint, and a touch of sweetness from the patchouli. Versatile for any occasion, though maybe better for someone over 20. A very good option for the office.
I love it; it’s not heavy or suffocating. Starts sweet and soft, without being cloying. Rich and fresh, a sweet blend with herbal notes that smells delicious. Once dry, the herbal side stands out, leaving that rich sweet note. Smells incredible. Paco Rabanne never disappoints; I like all their perfumes. It’s not a huge surprise or groundbreaking, but it’s spectacular and almost everyone likes it. I’ll probably repurchase because it’s so well-balanced. It’s hard to find sweet perfumes that aren’t heavy, are fresh, herbal, and last. I see it more for fall, winter, and spring; in summer, only for cool nights. It’s not a projection bomb, but it has good longevity and a trail within a one-meter bubble. For cold climates between 15-20 sprays, in heat half that, between 6-8. Notes: Longevity 8.5, projects more than a meter, lasts over 6 hours. Fixation 9, it’s luxury on my skin. Sillage 8.5, smells a meter away, great for not being heavy. Versatility 9, works for almost any occasion, dates, or casual outings. Scent 10, it’s a beast that smells incredible, with a capital B.
I swear I’m passionate about this fragrance. It’s very fresh, woody with notable citrus tones, a fantastic mix of sensations. I see it as versatile and ideal for spring and summer.
For now. I’ve had it for a few days and it reminds me a lot of an 80s or 90s deodorant, like the ‘Uomo Internazionale’ from catalogs… I don’t like it at all. EDIT: After using it for months, it’s green and dry on the opening, sweet heart, and somewhat synthetic, but it projects energy. The base is also in that direction.
It reminds me of Quorum Silver. If you want to know what this perfume smells like, just smell the Silver.
Really good perfume. I hated Rabanne because of classic Invictus and Legend—they last but I didn’t like the sweetness. With Platinum, the first time I smelled a mint that felt mature. Using it daily, for us Mexicans, it’s like Boing de Mango but with a powdery kick and some alcohol. It’s my favorite for going out in the heat; it doesn’t need reapplication and lasts forever. Women under 40 have complimented it. Cheers.
My mistake was believing the YouTubers, lol. It has all the DNA of classic Invictus plus a fake boozy note. Not worth it; it’s just more of the same. A 6/10: it doesn’t smell bad, but it’s boring. The only Invictus worth buying is Victory.
It’s a bit like the original Invictus, but enough to tell it’s a different perfume. Fresh and impactful at first, with moderate longevity on my skin. Once dry, it’s very similar to Azzaro Wanted by Night.
Amazing perfume! Starts with mint, grapefruit, and absinthe for a fresh, slightly boozy vibe, then evolves into a minty-sweet scent with incredible lavender that invites you to get closer. Smells different from the generic ones. Lasts 8+ hours and on clothes for weeks. Projection is normal within your bubble. Versatile for daily wear, high school, or the office: not annoying but noticeable. Highly recommended.
Total freshness for the office; it was my faithful companion until it ran out. Potent at first, long-lasting, and not overpowering—the absinthe note doesn’t smell like alcohol. Ideal for blind buys if you’re looking for something good for work or college in the heat, though it doesn’t bring anything new to the market.
I hated it completely. At first it was fresh and powerful, seemed like it was on the right track. But as it dried down, an overpowering smell invaded me, like anise or medicinal, very strong and invasive. At first it seemed like I might like it, but no. It has great projection and longevity, but it’s one of the Invictus I liked the least because of that peculiar dry-down.
I didn’t like it when I first tried it, but I’m slowly starting to get it. It’s sweet, fresh, and slightly fruity, like a cocktail. It’s not heavy, but the sweetness is sharp and loud, so I see it more for going out at night. It also has an alcoholic note that I don’t think is suitable for studying or going to the office.
One of my favorite Invictus, heading for my second bottle. Along with Victory Elixir, they are two absolute bangers worth trying. They fit perfectly because they are so different. Some of the best from recent years and, to make it even better, great performance.
I’ve had it for 3 months and only used it 5 or 6 days. It’s not that I don’t like it, but I don’t see the ‘fresh’ description. To me, it’s artificial and projects way too much with just 2 sprays. To repeat, it’s not bad, it’s a matter of taste, but it just hasn’t convinced me.
Very good for everyday wear. It has a note that sits between salty and green. I perceive it as ‘rough’, astringent, which gives it a serious tone and makes it less sweet than other flankers or the classic. If I were to describe it simply, it would be an Invictus ‘Sport’. Great fixation, longevity, and high-to-medium projection.
Nice fragrance, doesn’t turn my head, but it delivers and isn’t too generic.
Rich fragrance. I met it on the bus: a guy sat next to me and I got hit by the trail. At first I thought ‘ok, it smells good’, but over time it got richer until I thought ‘wow, I really like this’. I got up the courage to ask what perfume it was and that’s how I bought it. Note: it has a resemblance to YSL.
Delicious. The opening is spectacular and stays that way as it dries down.
Fresh and sweet scent, super fruity. It’s very noticeable, almost like a mangonada, which is what they call it in Mexico. It works all year round and is my signature. Lasts 7-8 hours with great projection.
Total surprise I won’t forget. I bought it blindly for the ridiculous price and the recommendations. The opening is sublime: sweet, fruity, and mentholated, very refreshing. It’s not innovative, but it’s well-made and doesn’t bother anyone. It doesn’t evolve much; it stays in that toned-down sweetness with a woody note that doesn’t cover up the greenery of the Platinum, so don’t expect the cedar and patchouli to shine. Performance: 6-8 sprays last about 8 hours. Moderate projection for the first 4 hours, then just a personal bubble until it fades. You’ll get compliments, but it doesn’t revolutionize noses. I recommend it as a signature because you don’t offend anyone and you feel good. Not for crowded parties because cheaper perfumes will overpower it. 7.5/10.
Absinthe, pure absinthe. I’m a fan, defying the prediction that an evolved nose stops appreciating the original and its flankers. After the ‘Victory’ releases that didn’t work for me, I believed in the brand again with Platinum, but it disappointed. It doesn’t smell like the original DNA, which isn’t bad, but the aroma is off. If you start with notes like absinthe, there’s no evolution, and that’s what happens here. During its short life, it feels constantly like an unpleasant camphor touch. The base is very green, with mint and a trite patchouli. In short, it smells like a shot of absinthe with mint and nothing else. It’s a bit sweet and fresh, maybe the only thing it shares with its father, but very little of either. I don’t see it for summer or winter, formal or playful party wear. I don’t get how everyone says they like it. DO NOT BUY BLINDLY. Performance isn’t up to Rabanne’s standards: on my skin it lasts max 8 hours, but after the second hour, you only smell it if you get close. Sillage and projection are moderate, max one hour. In conclusion, it smells like absinthe, mint, and little else. Performance is barely acceptable, and I wouldn’t talk about compliments. Invictus will always be the original; I hope they stop releasing flankers that have little to do with its DNA. – Scent: 4/10 – Longevity: 7/10 – Projection: 6/10 – Sillage: 6/10 – Versatility: 7/10 – Compliments: 5/10
I bought this for the notes, hoping to highlight the mint for my husband. In the end, it’s a light Invictus flanker with a sweet, fresh charge, but the mint isn’t as prominent as I expected; instead, it features cedar, grapefruit, and lavender. I was enchanted by the scent on my skin, but he found it too sweet and preferred not to wear it again, which breaks my heart. Plus, the projection lasted over 8 hours from the bottle and even more than a day at skin level. If you like sweet, non-intrusive men’s perfumes, this is your option. Although Invictus isn’t my top pick, I appreciate that this flanker has part of its DNA and that sugary touch that even I’d wear.
I like the scent; it’s like canned mango. It doesn’t overwhelm me, but women love it—I’ve gotten tons of compliments. In my social circle, these tropical scents really stand out. The opening reminds a bit of Paris Hilton for Men, and once it dries, it has that classic Invictus vibe. Performance ranges from normal to heavy: 5-7 sprays last 6 hours on skin and all day on clothes; 9-11 sprays last 7-8 hours on skin and until the next day on clothes.
Fresh, slightly green, mentholated, marine with a salty touch. It also has a sweet, sexy vibe that might get you compliments. This Invictus Platinum is the ultimate versatile scent: daily wear, dates, friends, gym—it never fails. 100% recommended.
I like it more than the original; it’s become my signature.
Delicious perfume, one of Paco Rabanne’s best.
I tried it with high hopes, but it just doesn’t work for me. The opening was nice, but once it dries, it smells like soap or shaving foam and gives me a headache. It’s not excessively fresh or formal, but it could work for daily office wear.
Let me down. Not fresh or elegant. The first two minutes are okay, but after five minutes it gets heavy and gives me a headache. I wanted a different take on Invictus after using the regular Hawas, but I don’t recommend it. I regret spending 80k pesos blindly based on reviews.
A distinct version of the original. Great for daytime wear in enclosed spaces. Think no-tie shirt.
Tested on skin and dries quickly; very rich. A green scent that reminds me of H24 by Hermes and CH Paradise.
This perfume offers something different; it’s not disruptive or anything extraordinary. In fact, its opening is sweet and citrusy like a yellow grapefruit with sugar and mint, slightly soapy with a hint of grape at the bottom (maybe it’s the lavender). The citrus fades quickly and the cypress takes over, very identifiable though richer than in nature, mentholated and soapy. This cypress gives it something I don’t usually smell in trendy perfumes. I like it a lot, it’s for daily use, office wear without being too formal. I give it a 7.5.
Exquisite scent, sweet without being cloying. If you like mint, it’s for you, because at first blast it goes with the grapefruit. For a date, you make it perfect, or for parties.
It’s not bad but it’s the same as so many others. For the price or putting a bit more, there are thousands of better options. The opening doesn’t like it; it smells like the pomade older people put on for bone pain; yes, it’s fresh, mentholated, and somewhat citrusy, but it has that pomade smell. Then the dry-down is much better with the sweet cypress and patchouli, without reaching panacea status. Yes, it projects and lasts like very few fragrances, especially at this price. Very mentholated and sweet all the time; if that’s what you want, it’s for you, otherwise better follow your path.
Everything is perfect in this creation, although it only lasts an hour. Why doesn’t it last longer?
Excellent perfume, good projection and longevity. I bought it in 2022. What a pity they discontinued it.
Total perfection, useful for any time of day.
Totally informal fragrance, works for daytime but I see it as fresh for going out at night, dancing, or hitting the club in a white shirt. Decent trail and low longevity, max 4 hours. One of the few times the Arabic version (Armaf Odyssey Aqua) beats the original. Smells like soft fruity mango with a sticky green base that adds freshness with mint. I recommend it for blind buys or as a gift only for someone young, under 35. Rating: 8.4/10.
What a shame it’s discontinued, but without a doubt it’s my favorite Rabanne. Ideal for daily wear in extreme heat, it’s a gem. The longevity is very good, honestly a 10/10 at least for daytime.
This Invictus Platinum along with the Parfum are the two best in the line, by far. The Elixir starts well but then doesn’t convince me, Victory Black smells like vulgar cinnamon, Aqua is a horror, and Absolu isn’t worth it. I don’t understand why they discontinued this Platinum; it’s some of the best from Rabanne: excellent sillage and dry-down, very versatile. To me, it smells aromatic and herbal, like little herbs with a soft sweetness, very pleasant and not annoying. Great for winter and fall, or cool spring nights. Lasts a lot and projects well; it’s not a beast, but if you atomize it well, it performs notably. People like ultra-repetitive scents, but compared to the mega-sweet stuff everywhere, this is good. Come on, keep selling Victory Black and not this one.
What a fragrance! Super citrusy and green with a sweet touch that goes great. Lasts 7-8 hours with good projection and trail for the first two hours. One of the best Invictus flankers; I’m going to try to find a backup because I think they’re going to discontinue it.
