I wore a 2 ml sample to work at a bar… At least 5 people told me it smelled delicious 🔥🔥🔥🔥. It’s sweet with metallic notes; honestly, it smells like an expensive perfume.

I applied a 2 ml sample and went to work at the bar… At least five customers asked what I was wearing, ‘it smells so good!’ 🔥 It has a sweet touch with something metallic, smells luxurious.

  • There’s missing info on who designed it or if a celebrity like Nathalie Lorson was paid. Honestly, catalog scents are usually synthetic, and this surprised me. It lasts a long time, though it’s very linear. It smells like Arabic perfumes like Asad or Afnan 9PM, and it’s a bit like Halloween Man in the evening. Goes for luxury.

It’s one of those perfumes that makes you wonder if it’s worth spending so much on others that aren’t better, at least for my amateur nose. 100% worth the purchase.

This scent is like mixing the grapefruit, patchouli, moss, and guaiac wood from Invictus with the cardamom and violet leaves from Magnat Select. It’s proof that today’s catalog perfumes beat designer ones, so delicious. I paid 250 pesos on marketplace, a steal for what it is.

Short and to the point: powerful, long-lasting, and cheap. It’s sweet, vanilla, woody, with an earthy touch. Imagine mixing Eros, Phantom, Stronger With You, and a dash of Invictus for freshness: that’s Kromo Black. I’m not a fan of overly sweet scents, but if you are, this is for you. It doesn’t ask for anything from a perfume that costs 4 or 6 times more.

It’s like combining the grapefruit, patchouli, moss, and guaiac wood of Invictus with the cardamom and violet leaves of Magnat Select. It’s a clear example that some catalog perfumes beat several designer ones. Smells amazing. I paid 250 pesos on a marketplace, a laughable price for what it is.

I bought it months ago when I was just starting out with perfumes. The first spray was impactful with a strong trail. But when I wore it out, I found it boring and linear (I didn’t know any better back then), so I sold it. Months later, after learning that Nathalie Lorson collaborated on it and seeing people praise it, I decided to try it again (I’d already sniffed 150 perfumes by then). It’s still linear, but now I tolerate it. I don’t think it’ll get you compliments, but it hits the 3 Bs, it’s not painful to wear, and it’s useful for everyday life, even in heat with fewer sprays.

Watch out for this hidden gem: it’s exquisite, very masculine, and sexy thanks to the cardamom and tonka bean. Perfect for cloudy, cold, or rainy days, or a semi-formal night out. Worth every penny. Just keep in mind that Esika and Natura have scents that outshine designer fragrances by a mile.

  • Sweet and straightforward, but it lasts more than 4 hours. Honestly, it passes off as a designer fragrance, and no one would complain.

  • For the price it’s worth, wow, it’s luxurious. It lasts at least 4–6 hours; what more could you ask for? I’d buy it again, wow, gladly. I even like it more than some other Arab scents I own.

  • This perfume is what Invictus is, but bulkier, with more nuances. If it resembles Y, it’s the darker EDT version; it has no age range, it suits anyone, it’s versatile, and it has a particular green apple scent, very Y EDT but with something of Invictus—not identical, but very rich. It’s spicy but not intrusive; yes, if you’re in a very enclosed space, be careful with the number of sprays, but otherwise, no problem.

It’s one of those fragrances that, if they didn’t tell you it’s from a catalog, you’d blindly think it’s a designer scent. It reminded me quite a bit of the classic Invictus and a touch of Paco Rabanne Phantom, but less creamy. Longevity is good, around 8 hours; projection felt a bit weak to me, but for the price, it’s more than fine. Just keep in mind that there are still people who prefer paying for designer imitations—not Arab dupes, but those Chinese ones that look like the real deal but don’t last a breath once atomized. Anyway, it’s a hardworking catalog fragrance, sweet, and won’t annoy anyone for an economic price with designer-quality vibes. Buy blind.

I don’t see any resemblance to the classic Invictus, maybe it’s more like Invictus Victory Elixir. It has that full-on winter and mature fragrance vibe. To me, it reminds me of the classic Asad…

  • Nothing like the classic Invictus; it’s spicy, sweet, and slightly powdery due to the cardamom. I’ve had it for years and barely used it, but when the Asad perfume came out, it reminded me a lot of this one. It has that Versace Eros vibe thanks to the tonka bean and similar notes—nothing more.

  • It’s affordable and worth the purchase, although personally I don’t like spicy scents because at the dry-down, around 3 hours, that spicy part becomes noticeable. It’s a night scent or for mild climates; it’s best enjoyed on dates or special occasions. The opening is very similar to Eros but without the mint; then it evolves and dries down to tonka bean, woods, violet, and a tiny mineral note like the undisclosed Valentino Born in Roma, which I detected. It lasts and projects very well. It holds the record for the fastest compliment: a beautiful stranger told me, ‘Wow, you smell so good.’ My brain didn’t process it; I just said thanks and smiled. Wow, incredible that an affordable fragrance got me praised so quickly. It delivers a lot for the price.

It’s a beast and one of the best surprises I’ve found in men’s catalogs. I got it at a competitive price in Peru, and it’s one of my favorites. It does stand out more in winter, but I don’t see any reason not to wear it in autumn or moderately in summer. It performs well for 4–5 hours; after that, it fades, but a couple of sprays are enough to last the rest of the day. I’ll definitely buy it again, and now my sights are set on Kromo Fire.

A great fragrance; I first encountered it in an Ésika catalog that arrived at my office with that pop-up tab that lets you ‘smell the scent.’ It seemed very promising from the start, so I took the plunge and bought it—what a surprise. I paid $200 MXN (about $11 USD). The opening is both its strongest and weakest point: it smells like 96% alcohol right when you spray it, but only for a few seconds. Then, it welcomes you with a fresh, herbal aromatic facet that eventually fades into spicy, sweet, warm, and slightly fruity notes. If you’re thinking of picking it up, just do it: for 200 pesos, if you don’t like it, give it to someone and make them very happy. If you’re a fan of sweet gourmands like One Million, 212, JPG, etc., I’m sure you’ll find a use for it, especially if you’re into overspraying like I am. Many say it’s for night and winter, like JPG Elixir, but it can perfectly be your signature scent (except in extreme heat). Performance is decent: 4–5 hours of longevity and 3 hours of projection. For the price, you can wear it everywhere, keep a few to reapply, or even drench yourself in it. It gets me way more compliments than designer or niche scents and seems very attractive to young women.
