I stopped at a Duty Free and went through everything until a sales associate showed me this one I hadn’t tried, and I hooked immediately. It has some similarity to Givenchy Absolu in the vanilla notes, and I think it carries a hint of cinnamon. Perfect for cold climates or a crisp night, it performs a lot. Watch out! Don’t overapply, it’s very strong. Worth it!
I love it! It smells like powdery cocoa, sweet but subtle, with nothing much else to add and almost no trace of the Invictus DNA. It’s a hit for cold, autumn, or winter. Pity that in my country (Argentina) it’s so expensive, over $130 for 100ml.
On my skin, it starts like Armani Code Profumo, but then Invictus becomes fresher and more versatile. My advice: test it on your skin to see how it evolves.
So delicious! A treat, you have to try it, although it’s not for everyone. I’m not a fan of the Invictus line and had read bad reviews about this one (I’m more into fresh, citrus, and fruity fragrances), but after testing it in the store out of curiosity, I was enchanted. Ideal for going out at night in the cold; with 5 sprays, you’re a beast.
First time trying a branded perfume. The opening is spicy and potent, but it overwhelms me a bit. Once it dries, it smells like chocolate and vanilla, very pleasant and warm, though not very versatile; I only see it for winter, at night, and for parties. After hours, it becomes sweet, like a woman’s cocoa lipstick.
The current batches don’t last at all.
I bought it blindly; the projection lasts about 2 hours quite well, and I detect it at arm’s length (6-7 inches) on skin. It opens with a spicy lemon and a hint of incense, giving a weird scent that I didn’t like at all. It lasted about 40 minutes before turning somewhat chocolatey, just like many comment that it resembles Axe Chocolate; that’s the base… personally, I don’t think I’ll buy it again since I only got it to complete my Invictus collection, but I don’t think I’ll use it because the opening really bothered me and it takes forever to dry down.
Sometimes I doubt people’s uniqueness… how come the three most marked options are Axe Chocolate, Pure XS, and Invictus Elixir? None of the three are similar!
Invictus Victory smells like amber, spices, and sweetness. At first, it seemed lactonic with a vanilla skin scent, plus that salty amber touch giving it a weird vibe; it didn’t convince me. However, as it dries down, it becomes somewhat chocolatey, yet still doesn’t play well with my skin. It’s more suited for cold weather, autumn, or winter—perfect for going out partying, though not very versatile. The longevity was over 8 hours, with a noticeable trail for the first two hours before fading. As always, test it yourself before getting swept up by others’ opinions, because what didn’t work for me doesn’t mean others won’t love it.
I absolutely love this perfume; it smells delicious, haha. Even though it doesn’t contain cocoa, I imagine it does, similar to the Bad Boy line by CH. It’s a good one; over time, my opinion changed, and now I see it as rich like the Axe Chocolate, but in a different way; it’s impossible for them to smell the same since they are completely different. Invictus Victory and Invictus Victory Elixir are spectacular (though surprisingly, the Elixir projects more). 8.7/10
I understand why many mention Axe. I had high expectations and thought it would be an exaggeration. It opens citrusy and sweet for a few seconds, promising well. But then comes that strange, chocolatey dry-down that indeed smells like Axe de Chocolate. What a disappointment. Glad I could try it before buying. It’s not unpleasant, but I don’t like associating with a deodorant. Better go for the Elixir version; that one truly smells like caramel with Invictus touches. Scent: 4/10 (Axe smells better), Projection: 7/10, Longevity: 9/10. I’m not saying don’t buy it, but I’d definitely go for Invictus Victory.
I wear it for months non-stop because it’s wonderful: all the richness of vanilla but super spiced and totally masculine. The best of Invictus without resembling it, with performance a thousand times better and beastly projection to stand out anywhere.
Greetings. Invictus Victory, the V for victory that accompanies you. I was surprised; I was used to the original and wanted to try this. WOW! It smells masculine and delicious. People say the same thing at night outings. It’s citrusy at first, then sexy incense without being smoky, and finally vanilla and amber. A great perfume. They say it smells like Axe de Chocolate, but no, it’s another level. Nothing to do with the original; it’s a separate and very good perfume. If you notice chocolate, it’s deep and earns you compliments.
Anyone who says this smells like Axe de Chocolate is lacking shame. It’s pure propaganda: ‘repeat it until you believe it.’ Just like someone who wears Axe de Chocolate daily, I don’t find even 50% similarity. This fragrance highlights the blend of vanilla and incense, ideal for projecting seriousness. It’s potent, so don’t over-spray or you’ll suffer yourself and everyone around you. P.S.: If you want real chocolate, go for Bad Boy Extreme; here in Invictus Victory, that note isn’t even there.
The opening doesn’t fully convince me; it’s very citrusy and sharp. But once it dries down, the harmony of lavender, vanilla, and incense is beautiful. It reminded me of Guerlain’s L’homme Ideal but with more amber. I liked it a lot, though it might be too sweet for my taste, so I’m hesitant to buy it.
What a great scent! I started talking to my ex about how good it smells, and he said it’s his favorite, even above Le Male Parfum. He started recognizing me in places just by the smell. I’ll definitely buy another bottle when I finish this; it’ll be my first winter purchase without a doubt, perfect for any cold weather. 10/10.
As a woman, this is one of my weaknesses.
The opening is gorgeous, but then the vanilla hits you like a punch in the face. It feels heavy, annoying, and honestly, it gave me nausea. Not worth spending the money.
Top fragrance for going out at night. It has projection and longevity that earn you special compliments. I’ve worn it, and people won’t stop asking what I’m wearing.
It doesn’t list cocoa on the label, but you can smell it from a mile away! Just don’t confuse it with Pure XS Night, even though many people mix up caramel and chocolate (they’re worlds apart). Night is closer to Scandal, while this one truly has the soul of Bad Boy Extreme.
Alright, let’s start with longevity: the duration is very good; personally, it lasts past 8 hours, maybe reaching 10 on close skin contact. Its projection and sillage are very good. I bought this perfume led by comments that it smells like Axe Chocolate, and let me tell you, I don’t perceive it that way. It’s true that it becomes a bit chocolatey, but it’s a delicious chocolate, nothing like Axe. Don’t let comments fool you; if you’re not convinced, try the perfume. Personally, it’s gotten me compliments; the first time I wore it, my girlfriend told me I smelled very good and felt like a great fragrance.
Let me start by saying Invictus Victory isn’t a signature scent for me. At 26, I see it as suitable for ages 18 to 28. Why do I say this? Because I’ve found a taste for it with a larger collection; I use it occasionally, not to impress, but as a casual go-to scent. I think it can be worn in spring due to the lime, vanilla, and pepper mix (obviously, in winter/fall it feels like home). Avoid using it in extreme heat. It’s an interesting piece despite what I said; its scent reminds many people of Axe Chocolate, but I think they confuse it with Axe Gold, which has oud wood and dark vanilla, and that’s what it resembles more. Obviously, one is by Paco Rabanne and the other is a Unilever deodorant, hahaha. In summary, it’s a flanker of Invictus that moves away from the original formula; I rate it a 7/10. I recommend it if you’ve used a lot of Invictus and are looking for a change from that generic smell. If I had to recommend an Invictus, I’d go with Intense, but it’s discontinued. If you want a signature scent while young, I’d go with 212 VIP, Eros (they supposedly reformulated it and the EDP is better), or 212 VIP Black. They say Scandal is another good option I’m waiting to try. Beyond my opinion, I recommend trying it, I’ve seen many people wear it, the important thing is that you like it and feel confident using it; the scent is rich, there’s no doubt about that.
Invictus Victory is literally a beast of a fragrance; the longevity is insane. I can’t say the projection is super high, but it’s really worth a lot. Everyone loves the Elixir, but I choose this one above all. It’s a youthful, sweet, and rich perfume; it gives off a sensation like a cake or cappuccino, something baked, hard to explain, bordering on gourmand. It could be a 10/10, but it’s not that versatile; it’s a bit strong in hot weather, so better for cool days. I’d rate it a 9/10. Try it and compare. Those who say it smells like Axe Chocolate are way off, don’t be so lacking.
It’s a rich, sexy perfume that draws stares. The first time I tested it at the perfume store, leaving the shop, it left an amazing trail and all the girls were eyeing it.
Stepping away from the Invictus DNA that everyone uses is the greatest virtue of this Victory. It has a totally dark style, with sweet chocolatey vanilla and a slight fruity touch that reminds me a bit of Pure XS. A sweet amber accord is the protagonist of its great power and longevity; it’s a sexy titan for the night. It didn’t propose anything innovative, but it changed the course of a lineage that had lost its magic. It’s perfect for these Christmas holidays if you want to grab attention and leave a mark on every hug.
I loved this perfume; it’s 98% identical to Invictus Victory.
I had my doubts, but it disappointed me. I’ve been testing it and its performance doesn’t do it justice. The scent is pleasant but weak; I’m sticking with Platinum or the Parfum. It’s a shame it lacks the punch and quality of the previous versions. Anyway, it’s not worth spending almost $100 on a mediocre fragrance.
It doesn’t work on my skin at all; it’s barely noticeable. I can’t distinguish any specific aroma, just something vaguely vanilla and amber. It’s not for me. There’s something curious: when I give it a good sniff, suddenly I get a note that gives me the vibe of bad breath, hahaha.
Mmm, I don’t love it, but I sometimes buy it because I miss it. The scent is like those sweet perfumes from the 2020s: potent, overwhelming, and a bit playful. I already have two 100ml bottles and just grabbed the 200ml one; I even hesitated before buying the traditional 212 because that one is a total hit. By the way, reading ManucoSeven’s review… hahaha, the part about bad breath made me laugh. I know a friend who uses tons of fragrance to cover up bad breath, and it’s real, it happens to people!
Bought it blind and it hooked me instantly. Smells like that Axe Chocolate everyone used in high school, but I absolutely love it. It’s super pleasant when it’s cold, which is a blessing here in the desert where the weather is either hell or a freezer; this lotion gives off a strange, necessary warmth. Longevity: 7/10, I thought an EDP Extreme would last longer, but it fades after about 6 hours on the skin, though it lingers on clothes all day. Sillage: 8/10, it projects quite a bit and I like it. Smell: 7/10, honestly, sometimes it smells very synthetic or that chocolate note is confusing because there’s no real chocolate in it. Price: 9/10, for 1,500 pesos (around $80), it’s a steal. I recommend it only if you’re between 16 and 24, in high school or college, and looking to hit a club or semi-formal night events, like a quinceañera or a casual wedding.
It’s a medium-playful perfume but it doesn’t fully convince me, not because it’s bad; in fact, it smells very good, but for the price, it’s just not worth it. There are many much cheaper perfumes that offer the same, both Arabic and designer ones, which are less overpriced. Also, it’s not potent; while it lasts on skin for about 6 to 8 hours, it doesn’t leave much of a trail. For it to go for $130 or $150 is an abuse.
My boyfriend has it and it smells very rich. It’s a very sweet aroma, but not to the point of being nauseating. Although it reminds me a lot of Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens.
I tested it on my skin with two sprays. It projects well. The only thing I smell is vanilla with lavender; I don’t smell anything else. I only smell 85% vanilla and 15% lavender.
It’s a rich perfume for hanging out. I get a reminiscence of Asad Bourbon (keeping in mind quality proportions)… now the price is crazy given how expensive it is.
I’m writing this before bed, waiting for the bathroom to clear up. In this fragrance, only two notes stand out: vanilla and amber; that’s all you feel. It smells vanilla-forward, earthy, or powdery, a very pleasant aroma that doesn’t bother anyone, but… it feels like it’s missing something, something that would say ‘this smells like Victory Elixir,’ but it doesn’t have it. I feel it’s better for layering to give it that punch it lacks. Also: it’s not very sweet; it gives you tranquility, serenity, calm, something that relaxes you, and for heat, it’s not what you’re looking for. What am I saying; you could easily wear it in the heat without bothering anyone, but the perfume tells you it’s not for heat. It feels like it’s for a quiet, cool place, like a library, a nice restaurant, or a cool spot just to relax. I do recommend it, but as someone else said: sometimes it smells bad, and I think it’s when it mixes with sweat and heat (when I wear it outside and sweat, it smells bad), but in a cool place, it’s very comforting.
Literally the only thing I can say is that it’s delicious but it’s one step below Invictus Victory Elixir. Basically, if you can buy this, check before buying the other, which is superior in my opinion. Although I repeat, this perfume is very rich and chocolatey and I recommend it, but much more so is Victory Elixir.
Lasts and projects a 10/10. Spiced with that pepper opening that makes it dangerous for enclosed spaces, but a very good perfume.
Within the Invictus family, this is one of the less worn. Despite its notes, what stands out most is the red pepper, vanilla, and amber. The opening is potent, but as it dries down, it becomes vanilla-forward and warm from the amber. It’s not excessively sweet; it has a perfect balance between sweetness and intensity. Although it’s not listed in the official notes, I detect a touch of cocoa alongside the vanilla, like a slightly chocolatey vanilla. Unlike some reviews claim, it’s not overpowering in summer and is pleasant even in hot climates.
Smells great on me: citrus and lavender at the start, with incense and a vanilla that doesn’t scream but, combined with the woods and sweetness, it’s a ten. Smells like a serious, oiled-up man, and I’ve never found a comparison to Axe.
Starts with a spicy, weird note, like lemon with lavender, which if you overapply it burns your nose. Then it dries down to a super clean, sweet lavender, almost identical to Victory Elixir, and the longevity is brutal.
