  • It’s a proper blue fragrance for daily use, very versatile. To give you an idea of the scent: it’s fresh, sweet fruity, with decent longevity; on my skin it lasts about 6 hours.

  • campeones22

Ufff, this perfume is the YSL EDP, something fresher… But come on, it’s a rip-off.

  • Excellent scent, making it one of my favorite versatile ones, but it falls a bit short on longevity.

  • RicardoPowa123

Very original perfume in terms of its notes. Very fresh, for daily use and parties. Good. Rich and powerful.

  • Cobalt is one of those fragrances that attracts you with a magnetic charm, only to leave you a bit nostalgic when its powerful allure fades faster than you’d wish. It’s a scent that starts like a fireworks display: bold, dazzling, and unforgettable. From the moment you apply it, Cobalt presents itself with a stimulating explosion of fresh and spicy notes that electrify the senses. It’s a fragrance that embodies confidence and energy, capturing the essence of a bad boy with undeniable magnetism. The opening is a sensory spectacle: bright citrus notes combined with sharp spices create a dynamic and revitalizing introduction, as if you were diving into a whirlpool of bold energy with an almost impossible-to-ignore rebellious vein. Imagine stepping into a high-octane, glamorous world where every move is charged with charisma; that’s the essence Cobalt conveys. As it moves into its heart, it welcomes you with a complex and intriguing mix of notes reflecting sophistication and depth. There’s an undeniable sense of rebellion here, wrapped in an aura of elegance. Leather and wood come into play, adding a rugged yet refined character. It’s the scent of someone who walks into a room and demands attention, someone with natural, effortless freshness. But this is where Cobalt’s appeal begins to fade. Despite its impressive initial performance, the staying power is where it falls short. The robust and vibrant notes that make you fall in love start to dissipate faster than expected. It’s as if the fragrance, though initially powerful and captivating, slowly turns into a shadow of its former self. The energetic explosion gives way to a much softer and discreet profile, disappointingly hard to detect as the day progresses. The transition from the vibrant initial notes to the attenuated base can be discouraging. You might find yourself reapplying it more frequently just to regain that initial burst of confidence and charisma. It’s a fragrance that lacks the endurance to accompany you through the whole day or night, leaving you with a longing for the dynamic presence it offered at the start. In essence, Cobalt leaves a first impression that hits hard. It’s perfect for those moments when you want to make a grand entrance and show your vibrant, daring side. The initial scent is full of personality and energy, reflecting fresh sophistication and a rebellious charm. However, the ephemeral nature of its presence can be disappointing. If you’re fascinated by the idea of a fragrance that starts with a huge impact but doesn’t last as long as you’d wish, Cobalt will undoubtedly captivate you, even if it doesn’t stay to accompany you all day.

A blue and masculine perfume, good for various occasions and perfect for daily school wear. It has a sparkling masculine scent: the opening is fruity due to the plum note, and the dry down is slightly earthy thanks to the truffle. Personally, I consider it better than the Elixir, which doesn’t improve its performance, just modifies notes that distance them. Speaking of performance, unfortunately, it has low projection, almost skin-scent except for the first hour, with an average duration of 5-7h. At a price of around $80, it seems like a good option if you don’t mind its low projection. Sillage: 4/10, Price: 7/10, Longevity: 6/10, Projection: 6/10, Scent: 8.6/10

  • A blue fragrance designed to be the daily flagship, fresh and rich. In my case, I feel it lasts and projects decently; you can achieve more by showering before applying it, among other options, but its scent and evolution are exquisite. The opening is the most standout feature. 8/10

  • BracaSmellsgood

The scent is very good, super masculine and attractive, fruity and talc-like. It reminds me a bit of Coach for Men, not just in that soapy, clean, fruity smell, but also in the disappointing performance. Unfortunately, it lasts (on my skin up to 6-7 hours) but projects very little; it’s disappointing that such a good scent is only perceived by you or someone very close. Anyway, it’s an option for daily use or a night out with friends (movies, dinner, etc.) without drawing too much attention, but for the price, you could find something similar with better projection, even cheaper. 6.4/10

  • Yes, for me, it’s the most accurate and versatile of the CH BAD BOYS. It’s an aromatic with fougère nuances, very wearable and pleasant. It doesn’t share many similarities with its collection mates; it’s nice and beautiful. I think it’s a great job that many people like, even the neighbor.

  • Youthful aroma with a midpoint between citrus and sweet, perfect for daily use. Soft but still masculine, something the sibling versions fail to achieve because they are too intense. Quite long-lasting; over time it loses projection but not the scent. Accessible price, between $80 and $84 USD for 50ml. I conclude it’s a fragrance everyone should own for its daily versatility.

  • Josué González Céspedes

Carolina Herrera puts a flower in her hair with this exquisite fragrance; it’s spectacular today, the best from CH. Standing ovation!

  • UnicornFraganzze

As for the scent, it’s the best of the Bad Boy line and I dare say the best of the blues right now. It’s the most versatile, fresh, and least synthetic on the market. It works for all four seasons, day and night, if you want to smell rich without overpowering. Compared to Acqua di Gio Parfum or Profumum, these are much less synthetic and more versatile.

  • Gentil vagabond

Innocuous but warm and exotic aroma. The longevity is noticeable throughout the day in waves: it hits, fades, but lingers. I was surprised because that CH line isn’t usually attractive. I recommend it; it solves any situation.

  • This was my first designer perfume, along with 1 Million Elixir. When they launched, I read they weren’t very good, with poor longevity and a common scent; but when I tried it on my skin, I loved it. Sweet opening but very masculine, fun, and even sexy. I have a new bottle from 2023 identical to the 2022 one, no reformulation. Very good longevity, on clothes it’s eternal (I can smell it days later hanging there). On my skin, ‘eternal’ perfumes last little (Sauvage, Kenzo) and those with ‘short’ longevity last longer. Projects well without being intrusive; you stand out in the crowd without annoying anyone. It’s my signature now, recommended for young people up to 30 because it’s sweet and not for very formal settings. Always test on skin first.

  • For me, it’s one of the best in the Bad Boy line: fresh, clean, blue, slightly fruity at first, but to my taste, it smells like a well-groomed man. It gets me lots of compliments and is super versatile, day or night. Good longevity and projection. If you don’t own any from the line, I recommend this one; it’s more versatile than Cobalt Elixir. Ideal for everyday, school, work, or nights out; you’re sure to get compliments.

  • In short: at first it smells clean and fresh with a sweet touch, but after 20-40 minutes it turns into plum soap. Poor evolution, nothing innovative, smells unisex-masculine. Longevity 6-8h, moderate projection for 1h. Scent 5/10, smells like any fruity soap. For the price, there are better options. The name ‘Bad Boy’ doesn’t fit; you smell like a good boy.

  • Great scent. The only downside with Carolina is the longevity; you need many sprays or reapplication. Invictus Platinum smells similar but is more refined, long-lasting, and evolves better. If you want something like Bad Boy Cobalt but with more longevity and better evolution, go for Invictus Platinum.

  • Smells amazing, I love it, great longevity and projection. Sometimes, at least for me, I notice some olfactory fatigue. Mid-to-high designer price point, very versatile for many occasions.

  • It reminds me a lot of Nautica Blue Sail, but with better quality and slightly better longevity. Very energizing and dynamic, I feel sporty. Performance could be improved. You know where to put your eyes with those Arab houses.

  • HarryPSG82

    Mmm, I think this is the only Bad Boy that actually smells like a real man; the others are for kids. The dry-down is delightful and it totally blew my mind. I got it as a gift :}

  • It’s a very rich and easy-to-please scent in my opinion, but I recommend trying it before buying since the performance is very poor; in my case, it lasts a maximum of 2 to 3 hours.

  • Longevity depends on various factors like climate and air, but generally, it’s very bad. Projection is terrible after half an hour. Great aroma, very versatile, but the price is exaggerated for such poor performance. It cost me sixteen hundred Mexican pesos, which is quite ‘cheap’ compared to department store prices.

  • IliaApturioTopturio

Smells masculine, fresh, and quite different from most perfumes I’ve smelled; the only downside is the longevity, which is too short for what it costs.

  • manuccito

Mature, masculine perfume, with a radiant yet sober plum note. It lasts about 7 hours on skin and projects for 1 to 3 hours. That said, I have to apply 15-20 sprays to achieve this.

  • jorgeluiscabani

A very rich scent, fruity clean lavender in the opening; as it dries down, a fresh, rich wood. For everyday wear, although it’s not very long-lasting and the sillage is short. You have to reapply every 3 hours or so.

  • Hey, great perfume, it’s a scent made to please. Scent: A very clean, fresh, and masculine aroma; what stands out most in the opening is that clean lavender smell, then it evolves into something more woody but with a plum note that keeps it very youthful and not too serious. Longevity: That’s one of perfume’s problems; in my case, it’s not too exaggerated, it lasted about 4 hours. Sillage: That’s another issue, it’s an intimate aroma that isn’t intense at all. Age: It’s a very masculine perfume, but mostly youthful (20-30). Compliments: Here, yes, if a woman catches the scent even minimally, she’ll love it; however, catching it is quite complicated, but it’s definitely a compliment-getter. Weather: Very versatile, less so in cold weather where it doesn’t adapt as well. Occasions: Day/night/daily/informal/gym/youthful. Impossible for parties, one of the worst options for that.

  • Aurumperfumes.Col

I’m not a huge fan of the herbal notes. It’s rare to find a slightly fougère-woody perfume that feels quite youthful with a distinct fruity accord. Bad Boy Cobalt is an excellent option to convey cleanliness without being boring; it’s a fresh, ultra-versatile club scent that defines this fragrance. A somewhat synthetic mineral lemon opening prepares the nose for a load of crystallized plum over cedar; this perfume creates a chilling effect in the room. The dry-down on skin up close isn’t my favorite for a fresh scent, but I can’t deny it’s a standout fragrance.

  • EricDraven

I received a sample with the purchase of another perfume. What a redundant waste. Mass commercial perfumery, bloated with flankers and lacking creativity, just keeps pulling the wool over fragrance lovers’ eyes. Of course, it will reach a lot of people. What a blatant copy of Sauvage, how shameless. This world lacks ethics and creativity now, everything is focused on immediate mass consumption. I won’t comment on longevity. Carolina Herrera, Rabanne… What a disaster.

  • The best fragrance I’ve tried so far, at least for my taste. It’s super versatile, perfect for day and night, winter and summer; this scent has no limits. It’s sweet and citrusy at the same time, but with a slightly dark twist that makes it unique. Great for going out or wearing daily. On my skin, it lasts between 3 and 4 hours projecting well until the 5th or 6th hour, though then it fades to almost nothing. If it weren’t for the longevity, it would be perfect.

  • Fresh, blue-fruity opening that settles into a red fruit note and becomes quite intriguing. It’s good, but I don’t feel it seduces me enough; that blue-fruity note is rich but curious for my nose. In the end, it’s an aromatic perfume with plum or ‘blue fruits’, fresh with a certain warmth. I think it’s playful and cheerful but unusual because of that fruity note. I’m not sure what to think really, I like it but we’ll see…

  • Versatile Elegance: If you’re tired of smelling like a clone or everyone else in the office and on the street, Carolina Herrera’s Bad Boy Cobalt might be exactly what you need. It’s not the ‘bad boy’ or party animal you expect from a flanker. On the contrary, I’ve loved it for being different and its unexpected versatility with a touch of elegance. It’s mature and sophisticated. With current trends, it would suit a woman looking for something outside traditional florals perfectly. What does it smell like? The first hours are a marvel: Elegant Opening with lavender and geranium, clean and aromatic air, classic but modernized. Sweet Twist: This aromatic character has a delicious plum note, a special sweetness, and nothing cloying. It’s not a sugary or childish sweetness; it’s juicy and fruity, balancing everything. In the end, it settles into something sweet but soft, wrapped in rich woods. This base gives it the elegance for any occasion. It goes well with everything, but it shines in summer. Its freshness isn’t just citrus; it’s aromatic and fruity, working from the office to a casual dinner. If you’re looking for something versatile, different, and that projects maturity without being boring, you’ll love it. My rating: 8/10. (Extra points for that elegant versatility).

  • After using it for quite some time, I concluded it’s a good all-around perfume. Typical blue scent with that Carolina Herrera touch. It smells great but doesn’t last long.

  • metroidsoldier

The best Bad Boy of 2022, without smelling like a cheap Chinese clone. This is the real Bad Boy Cobalt. It’s not the ‘bad boy’ you expect; it’s elegant, mature, and sophisticated with a delicious plum, lavender, and earthy oak and truffle base. It’s better than the others. While the classic is sweet and chocolatey, this one is fruity, blue, and refined.

  • As a woman, I give it 10/10. It’s super versatile, perfect for daily wear, and could easily be a man’s signature scent. I love its accords and notes. Smelling it on my boyfriend is fascinating, and I’d gift it a thousand times. Honestly, the projection is moderate, I wear it day and night, and the longevity is also moderate, lasting 6-8 hours depending on the person. This flanker is my favorite; the Elixir version seemed terrible at first, though I’d be willing to try it again. Cobalt is more versatile than the classic Bad Boy, but both have their strengths. I feel like this is the real men’s perfume that makes you ‘stand out’ LOL, it’s just a matter of taste, both are valid. Out of all my boyfriend’s perfumes, this is in my TOP 1.

  • GarciaJorge03

Excellent blue fragrance. While it shares similarities with others, it has a great unique touch. It makes me feel fresh with a very tolerable sweetness, avoiding any cloyingness. It’s super versatile for cooler weather without being too cold for extreme chill. Without a doubt, a great option among the blue fragrances.

  • UNIQUE BUT INTERESTING: I bought it a while ago because a sales associate at a store gave me a tester, sprayed it on my skin, and said it was CH’s new fragrance. The sprays made me want to keep smelling it because I liked it. SCENT: Somewhat linear; it starts with lavender/plum, then the woods and herbal notes come in quickly, with a subtle earthy touch (I’m not sure if it’s truffle, I’ve never heard of it, but that’s how it stays), creating a pleasant, fruity, fresh, and earthy aroma. By the way, it doesn’t resemble the other Bad Boy scents. COMPLIMENTS: It’s gotten me a few, nothing outstanding but very spontaneous, like “you smell great” or “I like your perfume,” which benefits any fragrance. USE: Very versatile, works well in cold or heat (better in the cold), with any outfit, sport, casual, or even a suit on Friday (though not strictly elegant); great for casual outings, signature wear, dates, and goes with almost everything. PERFORMANCE: Moderate, about 6 hours on skin and 9 on clothes; I smelled it a lot so I imagine good projection for the first 2 hours with moderate sillage. PRICE: It should be cheaper given its performance; it’s not expensive, but if it dropped more, it would sell even better because it’s so delicious. Compliments 8, Longevity 6, Sillage 8, Projection 8, Price 7. Total 7.4.

  • One of the best from the brand, I’ll admit. Fresh, fruity, and woody. It has low projection, but compliments won’t be hard to come by. Recommended.

  • Maho Shonen

The best surprise of the year. I loved it. It smells delicious. I usually prefer ‘traditionally’ feminine scents—floral, fruity, and sweet—because men’s fragrances tend to be tobacco, wood, and leather. This one has that attractive masculine elegance but with personality. The lavender doesn’t smell like ‘clean bathroom,’ and I was surprised it’s the first plum note that didn’t overwhelm me. Probably one of the brand’s best and the king of the Bad Boy line. 100% recommended.

  • samuelfitperfumes

This perfume is a total hit with women—it never fails! It’s fresh, fruity, and woody. It smells masculine yet girls absolutely love it. If you’re looking for something versatile for any occasion that will get you compliments, this is the one.
