Intense Tiare is paradisiacal, solar, unisex, and powerful. Montale knows what they’re doing: they offer sillage and variety for any season. Honestly, I don’t understand the lack of reviews praising it. The opening hits you with a warm, salty summer breeze: beautiful tiare, one of the most gorgeous and potent I’ve ever smelled. The fact that the tiare is potent is nothing when talking about Montale. If you’re looking for summer scents that evoke beach and fun, you’ve found it. The opening is masterful, without any syrupy aftertaste, very floral, and balanced by the sweetness of ylang and a juicy, pulpy absolute coconut that isn’t synthetic. Half an hour later, after the intense floral burst, it settles down to become elegant; the rose in Montale always plays a great role. The reality is a sweet, creamy consistency thanks to a typical atomic vanilla from the house. Very attractive, emotional, and summery, it’s worth it for its power and sculptural performance.

  • I’m here to second what @Casablanca77 said; I totally agree. Their review inspired me to try this gem thanks to a swap (reminds me of my days as a Pokémon trainer). The bottle is simple, like a pen, giving no hints of its contents (does that add to the mystery?). We sprayed it and ¡ooohhh! The opening lives up to its name. It’s the first perfume where I found the tiare so realistic; half smell like monoï oil and the other half like synthetic flower, but this smells like a real tropical garden. The coconut and ylang-ylang are bodyguards that provide creaminess without overshadowing the star. At four hours, the vanilla emerges, the sweetness intensifies, and the scent becomes milky like pastry cream. Jasmine and rose provide a feminine base that prevents it from being an overwhelming exotic bomb. It’s a true ‘Beauty and the Beast’: 10 hours in the middle of summer. Three sprays leave enough trail. It’s pure happiness noticing that the coconut, tiare, and vanilla notes are still there without having to sniff my wrists like a bloodhound. It stands out among other tropicals thanks to that masterful tiare note. It’s bottled summer love. Intense and precious.

Testing out this gem and I absolutely love it. The blend of tiare, coconut, vanilla, and rose is delicious for summer. One caveat: it doesn’t feel as intense to me as I expected. When testing it alone, I can’t confirm how others perceive it, but I feel it stays close to the skin without projecting much beyond. Ideal for daytime use in good weather. Scent: 10, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 6, Value: 6, Versatility: 9, Overall: 8.5.

I’m officially the number one fan of Intense Tiare. The opening is a summer beast, with just the right amount of coconut and brutal longevity. It’s enveloping, creamy like a vanilla shake, and perfect for afternoons or parties. Just be careful in the heat because it hits hard right out of the gate: it’s beachy but not for actually going to the beach. Note: I don’t detect any rose whatsoever. It’s not original, and while I prefer Guerlain Terracotta, Intense Tiare outlasts it by a mile in terms of longevity and trail. They share notes, but they smell different: Terracotta is jasmine with coconut and vanilla, whereas Intense Tiare is tiare, coconut, and vanilla. If you like summery, festive scents, don’t hesitate.

It smells wonderful and is very good, but I already own the Monoi by Yves Rocher, and they seem almost identical. Plus, we all know the price difference between Yves Rocher and Montale…

  • Of the styles I’ve tried, Intense Tiaré is the best. Unlike what I expected from Montale—which I love but sometimes feels a bit artificial—it smells very realistic: a garden by the sea, a seaside promenade on a sunny morning with a breeze among palm trees, and a cocktail at sunset. It’s cheerful, enveloping, carefree, and very pleasant. It smells of tiare with coconut and vanilla, an extremely rounded and creamy composition. I don’t detect the rose either. Moderate sillage and 9 to 10 hours of longevity. It’s less potent than other scents from the brand but very good. It shares similarities with other fragrances in this line and notes, but Nuxe Le Prodigieux is more intense, less creamy, and more strident in its floral and formal aspects. Monoi by Yves Rocher feels more vanilla-heavy, cloying, and synthetic. Nuxe Sun Eau Delicieuse is fruitier and more synthetic. Sun di Gioia lacks coconut, lasts a breath, and has very subtle sillage. All of them last less than Intense Tiaré. When I run out of any of them, Intense Tiaré will defend its spot in my collection with dignity. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 8.5/10, Sillage: 7.5/10, Value for money: 7.5/10, Versatility: 7/10, Packaging: 8/10. Would I buy it again? No, I didn’t.

  • Nice scent, but it doesn’t kill me with love. It comes out intense as the name suggests, but lacks affinity with my skin and fades in three hours. I’ve probably never smelled tiare before, so I’m not sure if it does the flower justice, but it just doesn’t convince me. It’s distinct and pleasant, but it didn’t make me sigh like other scents from this house. What I look for in Montale is sillage and longevity, which other fragrances from them provide. If someone gifted it to me, I’d enjoy it, but I wouldn’t pay for it, so I prefer to try first. Fortunately, I could, so I’ll invest in something else instead.

  • Amazing longevity, over eight hours on my arm. At first, I detect the coconut, quite aquatic and fresh. Then, after about half an hour or more, the flowers emerge—the plasticky, sensual tiare—and as it dries down, it lingers for another hour with a blend of a modern, sweet, fruity rose that surprised me. Afterwards, I notice creaminess, coconut, and vanilla like a body lotion, which I adore and find very sensual.

  • So rich. Creamy, floral, intense… it reminds me of summer, but not in a tanned way; more like a tropical garden. A bomb that lasts all day and turns heads. I love it.

  • It reminds me of the scent of the monoï sunscreens I use (I love that smell, which is why I bought it) due to the tiare, of course, but with the addition of jasmine which has a strong presence. It’s followed by an enveloping sweetness and creaminess that isn’t cloying. Perfect for a hot day with light clothing. It’s a floral white, tropical, and youthful scent that I love, nothing like the typical ‘old lady’ floral combo. It’s beachy, relaxed, feminine, and sexy in just the right measure.

  • Smells like the Monoi sunscreen I use (I love it) because of the tiare, but with a very present jasmine. Followed by an enveloping sweetness and creaminess that isn’t cloying. Perfect for heat with light clothing. It’s a white floral, tropical, and youthful scent that I adore, nothing like the typical old-lady floral combo. It’s beachy, relaxed, feminine, and sexy in just the right measure.

  • Enveloping, creamy, and summery. I’m a huge fan of sunscreen-style scents, loving Dolce Garden, La Nuit Tresor Nude, Coco Vanille, and now Intense Tiare, which was love at first sniff. It smells like Mancera’s Coco Vanille since they’re from the same house, but Intense Tiare is more floral, with tiare flower wrapping around coconut and vanilla. The longevity is insane; it lasts days on clothes until you wash them, everything gets soaked in, and you leave a trail. If you want to feel like you’re in the tropics, this is for you.

  • Enveloping, creamy, and summery scent. I’m a mega fan of sunscreen-style aromas: I love Dolce Garden, La Nuit Tresor Nude, Coco Vanille, and now Intense Tiare adds to the list, falling in love at first sniff. You can feel the tiare is identical to the one in Mancera’s Coco Vanille since they come from the same house; the difference is that Intense Tiare feels more floral, with the flower enveloping the coconut and vanilla. The longevity is super durable; it lasts on clothes for days until you wash it because everything absorbs noticeably. When you walk, you leave a trail, and that’s appreciated. If you’re looking for a summer scent that makes you feel like you’re in the tropics, this is for you.

  • It was so delicious and pleasant that it opened me up to the world of coconut fragrances (which I used to hate). The guiding thread was the white flowers, which I’ve been obsessed with. Here, they are round, sweet, lush, and very enveloping, with a touch of dark musk. Two sprays are enough for the whole day, wrapped in a warm blend that doesn’t shy away from summer. Precious fragrance, grateful, friendly, and simpático.

  • So delicious that it opened me up to the world of coconut perfumes (which I used to hate). What drew me in were the white florals, which I’m now obsessed with. Here they are round, greedy, lush, and enveloping, with a touch of dark musk. Two sprays last all day, keeping you wrapped in that warm blend that doesn’t shy away from summer. Precious, grateful, and sweet.

  • Warm, rich, and enveloping aroma, like a sun hug on the beach. The tiare flower is the star, very creamy. For some reason, 2 sprays don’t last long, about 3 hours, but if I overdo it, it becomes overwhelming, so I prefer to reapply later.

No one notices that it smells exactly like Mercadona’s Monoi from this year. I applied the lotion on one arm and the perfume on the other, and I couldn’t tell them apart; the longevity and texture are different, but if you love the scent and don’t want to spend Montale prices, it’s a great alternative.

  • What a disappointment; literally, I’ve wanted it for years. It’s just like my least favorite Montale perfume, Mukhallat.

  • I tried Intense Tiare today and it wasn’t what I expected. Very floral, quite creamy, summery, but I don’t detect coconut or a beach cream vibe. It’s almost identical to Guerlain’s Terracotta, just more elegant and feminine. I wouldn’t wear it on very hot days or at the beach.

  • It opens with a blast of tiaré flower and within minutes, sweet coconut wraps around it. It’s very linear but projects better than Coco Vanille; I simply love it.

  • If you love tiaré and jasmine, you’ll adore this. On my skin, it’s a floral bomb of both, especially the tiaré, probably because of how sweet the vanilla is. I don’t detect the rose or coconut. I thought it would be a summer scent based on the notes, but don’t be fooled: it’s heavy and very sweet. I tried it in summer and was dizzy all afternoon, plus it lasts forever. I save it for fall and winter and enjoy it immensely. It’s warm and long-lasting. I don’t understand why they call it a summer scent; it has weight and warmth. It also doesn’t match the Mercadona EDT, even though both have tiaré. Try it first; it might surprise you. If you love tiaré, it’s a hit.

  • Silvi_del_agua

Dense, creamy, and sweet, though not cloying. With lots of heat, it can be suffocating, so I see it more for late spring or winter; it’s comforting in the cold. Although it’s linear, it’s pleasant and relaxing. A safe bet if you like tiaré. The first time it might feel synthetic due to the strength, but soon it becomes realistic. It lasts all day and is noticeable from half a meter away.

  • Intense Tiaré is my go-to perfume; I’m always looking for it. The opening is invasive and strong, the flower shines, and sometimes it smells synthetic or like insecticide, but within minutes, the delicious coconut and vanilla calm it down. I get tons of compliments; there’s no day they don’t ask about it. Don’t overdo it—it lasts and projects a lot; I apply it 3/4 times and reapply. Ideal for summer nights and any time of year in other seasons.

  • Rich aroma and super summery. On my skin, it smells very similar to Mancera’s Coco Vanille, just a bit sweeter and less long-lasting.

  • Perfect for summer; the tiaré scent is synonymous with heat. Sweet without being cloying, it smells like tiaré all day long, and as it dries down, you get soft coconut and vanilla. It reminds me of Yves Rocher’s Monoi, but more elegant.

  • The opening isn’t quite my thing, but the dry down is where it shines: a creamy, sweet white floral that’s very versatile and pleasant. It’s not complex, just simple and beautiful, perfect for any occasion. Highly recommended for floral lovers for its originality.

  • Woman in Love

Powerful and dazzling, with crystal-clear ylang-ylang and tiaré that are an absolute knockout. Super long-lasting, it fills the room without asking permission. In summer, it’s pure bliss, a real luxury. It smells like Borabora by Giardini di Toscano; I own both and can’t decide which is better—they’re both treasures.
