  • Kiko Milano has nailed a great dupe, the makeup store everyone in Spain knows. It has the same olfactory notes. Holiday Première L’Étoile White Kiko Milano was last year’s version, and this year they’ve brought it back with a new name but the same notes. It’s the low-cost version if you like the original. You can smell the almond, coconut, plum notes… It’s very similar to the real deal.

  • Definitely an intense scent, not made for people with very sweet and floral tastes. I liked it a lot, but I don’t think it will suit me. I wouldn’t be upset if someone wanted to gift it to me.

  • Supernova1.1

I don’t know why the bitter chocolate note isn’t listed: it’s delicious, like bringing a cajeta palette with you. It’s something very rich, like scandalous candies, because it lasts a long time without being cloying. I loved it.

  • I had high expectations because the positive reviews outnumber the negative ones. However, when I smelled it in the store, it completely disappointed me: it smells like putty or pure Play-Doh, nothing like what others described. Maybe it’s one of those that smells better after letting it settle for a couple of months. Maybe I’ll be brave enough to try it again later.

  • It’s the love of my life, after Olympea Legend. It smells like almond with an addictive vanilla. I’d wear it every day, and it’s one of the few perfumes I’d love for people to remember me by when they smell this scent.

  • guadalupefd

It’s an exquisite perfume, plain and simple. It’s an intense aroma that may not appeal to everyone. If you’re 100% into sweet, personality-packed perfumes, buy it blind; it won’t fail. Otherwise, I recommend smelling it first before risking it.

To sum up, from my nose it’s a floral with a very subtle vanilla and a barely perceptible touch of coconut. It’s like a coconut peeking through, but the flowers always dominate: neroli and jasmine.

  • The good thing is it doesn’t smell too much like the original, which I hate (even though I admire it). To me, it’s too theatrical and sweet. Although this Hypnotic Poison isn’t as heavy as it seems; the coconut lightens it up and prevents it from being cloying. It’s a wild mix of vanilla and nuts, with super-sensual neroli and a violent jasmine from start to finish. That powdery nuance gives it a waxy shine that doesn’t suit me well. I don’t detect any fruity notes. Do I like it? No. Is it good? The original is better, though it doesn’t reach the depths of the Poison Girl flankers, which degrade the mother legacy into ignominy. I consider Hypnotic Poison not bad, given the offspring that came after. If you like vanilla and dramatic fragrances, it’s for you. If you like seducing on all fours with a red rose in your mouth, it’s your perfume. I don’t know about the reformulation, but it scares me a little, so I won’t even touch it with a stick: zero curiosity.

  • On my skin, it feels 90% coconut: one powdery, similar to ‘makeup smell’. The other 10% is vanilla with almonds. It’s very strong, good longevity. Rich but it doesn’t drive me crazy. An excellent dupe is Shakira Blush Kiss, which is 95% similar (also in longevity).

  • I went to try it out and my boyfriend gave it a 6: it smells good, but it lacks ‘throw’. I absolutely love it; I keep bringing my hand close to smell it again.

  • Well, I bought this perfume blindly because everyone said if you like vanilla scents, it’s a safe bet. On one hand, I really like the scent; I love gourmands and this smells like a vanilla dessert with lots of liquor, super sweet. Now, I was a bit disappointed by its longevity and sillage. I expected a bomb, but the truth is, it leaves nothing of a trail, lasts several hours but feels very stuck to the skin. I think this is due to all the times it’s been reformulated. Probably because it’s an EDT they made it softer, and more so because they later launched the EDP version. For me, it’s a perfume that for this reason can be used any time of year (except summer).

  • obsidian_girl

One of my favorite perfumes, it’s heavy, very sweet but spicy and spiced. I really feel the sandalwood, plum, and almonds. It makes me feel sexy, bold, and with lots of character; it also leaves a lot of trail and lasts a long time on skin and clothes. It’s one of those perfumes that are felt from a distance and have ‘something more’. That said, I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly.

  • adabarcelona

Honestly, who are you and what have you done with Dior? Come out from wherever you’re hiding because I’m coming for your jugular. WHY REFORMULATE LIKE THIS?? I understand there are interests with ingredients and the ‘synthesization’ of molecules, leading to an olfactory dehumanization. Cursed day I read that HPoison smells like Play-Doh. I had the memory of my post-adolescence with this intoxicating and sensual perfume, and I thought: to Play-Doh… wow, what a stroke of genius. I went to the perfumerie to restock the second bottle after eons without seeing it, since it went viral and even Blanco stores used its clone. No, thanks. A few years ago I restocked after the avalanche, thinking it would be the same. Ekisdé. Play-Doh :___) Synthetic and with zero of the orgasmic essence it had before. People are lucky they don’t have a refined nose, or pff, that their tastes swim in the synthetic… But my nose detects what’s not good. I’d almost lean towards the EDP over this. They are different perfumes, but the trail of the old EDT intoxicated you and now it’s pitiful. Like in a famous sketch: ‘But it’s the same thing’ – ‘mmm, but it’s not the same’. Play-Doh and 70 euros in the trash. Anyone want it?

  • nadiarose

I stopped by a store and applied a little to my wrist. From the very first moment, I loved it: it’s elegant, youthful, and has a captivating touch of coconut. The caraway was very noticeable at first and gave it a special touch. It’s a sexy perfume, perfect for the night. The best part was that even after showering and more than 12 hours later, I could still smell it! In the end, it left a soft, elegant scent with vanilla and almonds that fascinated me. I’m going to buy it!

  • floresdepach

I really don’t understand if it’s a reformulation, if my sense of smell is damaged, or what, but the positive reviews make no sense to me. Twice in different years I tested it at perfumeries and both times I left with an absolute face of disgust. It doesn’t smell like vanilla, coconut, or Play-Doh. It smells like a burnt wire, melting tire rubber that’s unbearable.

  • CitricaSoy

Ever since I read that it’s similar to Play-Doh, I don’t see it the same way anymore.

  • MelinaCereza

It wasn’t love at first sight. When I tested it, I thought: OH MY GOD, WHAT AM I BUYING? Then I fell completely in love. What addictive, sexy vanilla. It doesn’t last long, but it’s an EDT, so it’s logical and I don’t complain. I loved it ♥

  • juliaguilera

I don’t know why, but this perfume reminds me of honeyed apples. I’ve always thought it smelled great, even though I was frustrated that it barely showed up on blotter paper until I instinctively tested it on my skin and BOOM! It amplified everything. It won my heart instantly and went straight to my wishlist. Scent: 10/10. Versatility: good for everyday winter wear, maybe a 5/10. Performance: 8/10. Overall: 9/10. Would I buy it? Yes, in 50ml, though the deals on the 100ml bottle are tempting me.

  • I gifted it to my girlfriend because she ran out of her perfume. Mamma mia, it smells so good, a guaranteed hit from my point of view.

  • Clara55555

I didn’t test it directly on my skin, so maybe it’s not the same as on the atomizer box. But god… I felt so disappointed; I was looking for something sweet and all I found was a liquid smelling like smoke, something sour and even earthy. Note, maybe it’s due to sun exposure since it was a tester, or other factors. Maybe I’ll give it another chance.

  • A rich and powdery scent with a very spiced vanilla, nothing synthetic. It has a very soft dry-down, as if it smelled clean after eight hours. On me, it lasts about twelve hours.

  • My signature for a long time, combined with the lotion, it creates a reaction on the skin that lingers for hours. People never ask what I’m wearing, but they come closer and feel how the scent captures them. It’s not for shy people or discreet situations. I’m not going to discover how it evolves; every skin is a world. I don’t care if it’s been on the market for years, doesn’t seduction take even longer? Only once someone told me, half-angrily, ‘it looks like you’re carrying poison on your skin.’ I love it.

  • It was my signature for many years and the one I repurchased most often. I wore it at 15 and I’m still wearing it at 30. I feel that over time they’ve lowered the intensity and longevity, like many others, but it remains beautiful. It’s gourmand without being cloying; you can really smell the vanilla, then the almond and sandalwood. Once I had dinner with my family and my uncle said, ‘there’s a smell of flan’ xD, it was me with my Hypnotic Poison. Yes, it smells like vanilla, but I don’t feel like it smells like a little dessert (I don’t want to smell like dessert). I’ve been complimented a lot, especially by men. Unfortunately, my boyfriend doesn’t like it, which surprised me. I try to wear it alone, but I definitely use it less.

  • They only sprayed it on my wrists and arms. From the very first moment, the notes seemed horrible to me: I searched on TikTok and couldn’t find any presence. It smells like something very sweet mixed with strong, indistinct notes. As it dried down in the store, the intensity dropped and it seemed like a children’s medicine, like cherry-flavored menthol syrup. I couldn’t see myself wearing it on more areas and I don’t understand why they recommend it for passionate nights. The longevity is short and the sillage is small, though if it’s for passion, it makes sense. I would never buy it, glad I didn’t just dive in blind.

In the heart of fall-winter 2025, I’m obsessed with this aroma of almonds bathed in exquisite vanilla. Just smelling it makes me smile from ear to ear. I don’t understand those who say it smells like plasticine or ‘old’; every nose is a world, but this is a modern masterpiece for any age. If I had to choose only five perfumes, this would be number one. At first, you have to let it macerate for the magic to work; my four-year-old bottle is a jewel. I wish I could smell the original version, I’d die of temptation. It’s my daily signature, simply incredible.

  • Rinascere.22

It dries down too powdery for me. I bought it thinking it was a super-sweet fragrance for winter, but it really disappointed me.

  • cuarentaydos

That’s the perfume someone wears who claims to be goth, but when you ask what they listen to, they tell you Taylor Swift.

  • Wlad Molina

The Hypnotic Poison Crème doesn’t play hide and seek. From the start, coconut milk and fruits like plum and blackcurrant create a sweet explosion that smells like scented cream on warm skin. In the heart, the white flowers don’t offer freshness, but pure texture: floral cream, not petals. As it dries, the deep vanilla blends with a clean touch that avoids being cloying. It’s elegant, opulent, and full of character—not for anyone looking for something light. Ideal for cool nights or intimate dates where you want to leave a mark. I give it an 8/10: it’s not versatile, but it’s unforgettable.

  • It’s not bad, but the intensity doesn’t fully convince me, with a note mix that feels a bit too much. At first, you get that fruity part; to me, it smells more like pineapple and cranberries. On a hard-to-distinguish base, where you can feel the almond. The thing is, this doesn’t convince me, and Poison Girl is my favorite; I think it achieves the almond combination much better. Pure Poison also seems better to me.

  • I don’t understand what happened with this perfume. Months ago, I loved it, kept it on my wishlist, and always tested it in stores… it was a fantasy. And then one day I tested it, and it started giving me nausea. Maybe it’s the almond, a note that’s complicated for me. But it was noticing something I didn’t notice before, and boom, goodbye. Recently, I smelled it on a teenager entering the store, and it hit me so hard I couldn’t shake it off until I got home. A tragedy.

  • I had huge expectations because I love its notes, but I have to say it gave me nausea; it smells like rancid, old almonds. Maybe the Sephora tester was in bad condition, because otherwise, I don’t understand the hype and fuss around this perfume.

  • Intense, sensual, and addictive. Perfect fragrance for a date in fall or winter. I just wish it lasted longer.

  • I had the Eau de Parfum and thought, if it’s so wonderful and the EDT has good reviews, I should get it. The fragrance is beautiful, sweet, and warm, but the longevity is a headache: barely an hour with a soft trail. The EDP lasts 8 hours intact, it’s darker and more mature; this one feels youthful and innocent. I like having both, though my favorite is the EDP. I don’t think I’ll buy it again, especially since the Zara dupe lasts longer and smells the same.

I bought a decant to save some cash 💸, but the opening smells like medicine, then it fades into a weird, attacked odor. If you thought it was super fruity and sweet because of the plum, coconut, and blackcurrant, don’t waste a dollar. Maybe if they added some tonka bean, praline, or caramel, it would be closer to what they say on social media.

  • TíaSarah77

Super intense and marked scent, strong and serious, not the typical sparkly ‘sweet girl’ vibe. It’s more serious and mature; I don’t recommend buying blindly because, as some say, the almond note is tricky and not for every nose. I recommend trying a decant first before deciding to buy the full bottle.

  • This is my favorite perfume. It smells very sweet and romantic, like a scene from a Twilight movie. It also reminds me of scented neutral Vaseline in a pink round jar. I don’t mind the notes being too much or the almond issue others mention; I guess every skin is different.

  • oliendobonito

Super sensual and sticky perfume with a mysterious vibe. Smells like a femme fatale: confident, strong-willed, and very clear about what she wants. It doesn’t try to please; it simply attracts. The vanilla, almond, and coconut notes create a creamy, balanced blend that’s warm and seductive. The vanilla adds sweetness, the almond a touch of elegance, and the coconut something exotic without being tropical. Perfect for fall and winter, it lasts about 10 hours and leaves an intense yet controlled trail. As its name suggests, it’s a hypnotic poison for conquering and making a mark.
