Very delicious! Years ago I gave this to my sister and she went crazy over it. It’s elegant, feminine, and very unique, incomparable! I find it more floral and green, it’s exquisite.

  • the churumbel

Beautiful! It smells like fresh rain, that morning freshness on wet surfaces and a sprig of flowers on the breakfast table.

  • the churumbel

How precious! It smells like fresh rain, that morning freshness on wet surfaces and a sprig of flowers on the breakfast table 🙂

  • My mother’s perfume! It opens citrusy with bergamot and tangerine, quickly turning floral with neroli. It lasts forever, about 8 hours on the skin. One of the best Dior fragrances, unfortunately now discontinued.

  • From the Poison family by Dior, this EDT gem is already discontinued, but some angels (my perfume friends) got it for me. The scent is more floral than fruity: neroli, jasmine, and rose are very clear, with a soapy touch. Ideal for summer, it lasts all day with just one spray and has great sillage. I love the longevity, even though it’s not my usual style; it’s excellent and hard to find. I hate that Dior discontinues such great fragrances. This review is for the last reformulated version.

  • It’s a gem from the Poison family by Dior, discontinued but luckily some angels (my perfume friends) managed to get it for me. The scent is more floral than fruity; neroli, jasmine, and rose are very clear, with a soapy touch. Perfect for summer, one spray lasts all day and feels like heaven. It has incredible sillage and longevity for an EDT, it’s enveloping and long-lasting. Although I liked it more for the longevity than the smell, I admit it’s excellent and unique. If you see it, grab it because it might be the last time. P.S.: I hate that Dior discontinues such great fragrances; it drives me crazy. This is the last reformulated version.

  • I’ve come across this treasure, a 1995 bottle thanks to a friend. Poison Tendre upon application was intense, a brief citrus note, then sweet honey balancing with flowers, giving me a rose scent. The drydown was a big hit; I don’t notice much narcissus, it smells like roses and another flower, I sense sandalwood and vanilla. It’s a good perfume, lasted 10 hours on skin and more on clothes. I can’t stop smelling my wrist; it made me very happy. Years ago I saw it in department stores but walked past it, it smelled sharp, I didn’t test it on skin or blotter, thinking: ‘How can they carry that?’. I was using Elysium, a floral. Since I didn’t dare… Anyway, like great loves, they arrive when the time is right. Now I know it’s discontinued, what a shame. It’s a beautiful perfume, exquisite, romantic, feminine, and classic.

  • I’ve edited my previous review because I made a mistake. This time I’m talking about the vintage. Before, I reviewed the last version before discontinuation. I want to highlight that the perfume of my memories, the one I used to steal from my aunt, WAS THIS vintage, not the recent one. I didn’t know they changed the bottle (it looks like an apple) and the formula. They have similarities but they aren’t the same. My olfactory memory failed me. TP vintage, as THE CHURUMBEL said, is natural, intoxicatingly floral, with honey and vanilla giving sweetness. The sandalwood is light and I love it, even the heliotrope doesn’t bother me. It’s a beauty. I fell in love. The recent one smells floral but soapy. They changed the composition. It doesn’t achieve as much natural green, but I also liked it. It’s exceptional. TP vintage lasts less, but all day with exquisite, refreshing sillage. The recent one is more long-lasting: I kept a blotting paper in my pocket and my phone smelled for weeks, even after washing the case. On my skin, it lasted all day with potent sillage that turns heads. I prefer the vintage. It’s a delight that awakens the senses. 9.5/10.

Ahhhh, just remembering it from the first day, over 20 years ago, makes me fall in love with its exquisite fragrance again. I still use it even though it’s hard to find. That captivating scent captivated me and left many beautiful memories.

  • caro_ripley

I loved this perfume, used it when it came out, and for several years… what a pity they won’t reissue the original.

  • Kather Aguirre

I remember this perfume was very famous; everyone wanted to smell like Poison Tendre. I prefer sweet scents, and this is far from that, but it’s lovely.

  • Yadorán d'Vinea

Generally, I don’t define fragrances with labels like sweet, floral, or citrus because they’re ambiguous. There are a thousand ways to be sweet or floral. Saying it smells ‘like dew when angels cry’ is confusing. Poison Tendre, however, was clear: floral-green. It started with galbanum, moved to a honeyed heart with burnt armo branches and honey, and ended mossy with asafoetida and white flowers (like chicken broth). It’s strange. Fragrantica lists different notes. To me, it felt revitalizing, energetic, magnetic, refreshing, and committed to idealism. Fresh as ozone, with body, minimal sweetness, and imposing yet amiable white flowers. Comforting, enveloping, without exhausting. It didn’t bore. It was metamorphic, varying by user and season, classy and tasteful. It succumbed to the tragedy of being de-cataloged. Flawless, understandable, not abstract, stuffed with the Dior emblem. Moderately potent, notable sillage, not suffocating, splendid longevity. It was ‘poisonous but gentle’. Today it wouldn’t be ‘tender poison’, but back then it fulfilled all of Dior’s promises.

  • I don’t get Dior. They discontinue a fine, exquisite, timeless floral and produce 18 flankers for Addict that are ephemeral and poorly mixed. In Greece, there’s a perfumery with fragrance dupes, which is wonderful. I hope Dior reproduces it, and in the same bottle!

  • VainillaDulce

Poison Tendre was a marvel, and I say ‘was’ because I can’t find it anymore. It was the most innocent Poison, trying to fit into the 90s, fresh and less intense than the 80s. Its beauty wasn’t in the peach or being scandalous. It smelled like the countryside with grass and freshly cut flowers, very green, a revitalizing delight. A balanced citrus opening that framed white flowers (narcissus) and musk; woods and vanilla provided incredible support, fresh, feminine, and sensual. Great sillage and longevity, pleasant and non-intrusive. It’s a pity I can’t find this creation anymore. Rating 8/10.

  • LunaVioletteLoveheart

What luck to find this gem cheap and in perfect condition. The good: it’s discontinued, it arrived as intended, it smells elegant for a gala, and it’s green like luck. The bad: I still don’t know if I like it. It’s very green, sometimes I notice honey and vanilla, other times not. At first, it smelled like Nivea cream on my skin; the notes were stuck together. Then it evolved into something that confused me, like mosquito repellent! I regret the purchase. It lasts forever. The next day, at a retreat with a nun I love who used to wear Dior, I let her try it. On her, it smells delicious! Balanced with honey, sweet, and perfect. It was the scent I imagined: rain in the forest, majestic. I think my pH doesn’t match, but I’ll give it another chance. It hurts to throw it away, but I’ll gift it to my mother; it suits her and I see her happy. Maybe destiny wants it to reach her. I haven’t rated it yet because I want to try it again.

  • I adore it! How frustrating that such gems are discontinued… There’s no way to find it unless you’re rich.

  • LunaVioletteLoveheart

So lucky to find this gem so cheap and in perfect condition! The good: it’s already discontinued, arrived like it was destined for me, smells elegant for a gala, and is green like luck. The bad: I still don’t know if I like it; it’s very green, sometimes I detect honey and vanilla, other times not. The truth: At first, I had my doubts; on my skin, it smelled like Nivea cream, the notes were muddy. Then it evolved into something that confused me: mosquito repellent! I regretted the purchase. It has excellent longevity. The next day, at a retreat with a nun I adore who used to love Dior, I let her try it to remind her of her youth. What a surprise! On her, it smelled delicious, balanced with honey and flowers in a sweet harmony, just like I imagined Poison Tendre would be. I think my pH doesn’t suit it well, but I’ll give it another chance because I hate getting rid of it. It comforts me to gift it to the nun; it smells great on her and she looks happy. Maybe destiny conspires to bring it to her through me. I haven’t rated it yet because I want a second chance.

  • I bought it because after searching for so long, I finally found it at a good price. It was a blind buy since I’d never tried it. Reading the reviews, I thought it would be exquisite, and honestly, it left me quite indifferent. I don’t regret the purchase and I like it, but I don’t find it special. I’d describe it as a soft blend of Poison and Cabotine, but softer. I also don’t feel green, citrusy, or floral; it’s more of a mix of everything, and I struggle to categorize it. Overall, it’s a good perfume.

  • Finally, I got it again, luckily at a reasonable price considering the outrageous prices I see online. All thanks to @Misha17. HAPPY! THANK YOU A THOUSAND TIMES!

  • I don’t know who compared this to Cabotine by Grès. Tendre Poison is a MUCH more complex, long-lasting, refined fragrance with FAR more ingredients and perceptible nuances.

  • A friend gifted me an artisanal copy I used 10 years ago; I snatched it up on sale and never found it again. It doesn’t bother anyone, it’s elegant, perfect for day or night, suitable for ages 25 to 90. It’s a classic that looks great on young girls too; it doesn’t make you smell like an older woman. There are copies of many classics, but not of Tendre. This perfume leans fresh for me; I didn’t want to smell oriental or just floral. Although my tastes have changed, it’s a scent I’d love to enjoy forever. Finally, I’m enjoying it again. Even if it’s a copy: it’s so lovely, fresh, almost sparkling. I hope they reissue it for an anniversary, as it’s available on various pages but at prices I wouldn’t pay for a perfume.

  • Sandungamx

Elegant, feminine, sensual, soft, and rich, with notes of jasmine and citrus. Discontinued, so I couldn’t compare it to anything else. I’ve read it seems like Cabotine, but others say Cabotine doesn’t even come close.

  • Cabotine by Grès is a green floral, reminiscent of this Dior but they are different; don’t expect the same. Tendre is complex, high quality, with facets and character like Dior, different from its predecessor Poison, less heavy. Fresh, green, with a sandalwood base that I love. It could be a current niche unisex: cut flowers, natural rose, woods, and touches like asafoetida. I’m a man and thought I wouldn’t wear it, but today unisex scents break stereotypes. Cuir Cannage by Dior is similar too; perfuming is a matter of taste, not of sexes.

  • Cabotine by Grès is a green floral; it recalls that great Dior but it’s a different beast. Don’t expect the same thing from Cabotine or a knock-off. Tendre is complex, high-quality, with distinct facets and a very Dior character that makes it unique. It sometimes reminds me of Poison but isn’t heavy or overwhelming. Fresh, green, with a sandalwood base that I love. It could be a current niche unisex launch: freshly cut flowers, natural rose, woods, and touches like asafoetida. I’m a man and never thought I could wear this, but nowadays there are options without macho stereotypes. Dior’s Cuir Cannage is similar too; in the end, wearing perfume is about taste, not gender.

  • Brings me sweet memories of my great-aunt; she gifted me this 25ml bottle right before she passed. Every time I miss her, I apply a spritz because I know I’ll never find it again. On my skin, it smells like neroli and fresh flowers—elegant just like she was.

  • Wonderful memories. My first official perfume, like taking the step from girl to independent woman. I remember buying it with my savings, at 18, at the old perfumery in my city, the first in the area and still operating. I told the saleswoman I wanted a perfume for myself, and she brought out two: Hypnotic Poison and this one. I remember the bergamot, fresh, green, complex, truly unique and elegant. It was Dior, there was no comparison, I enjoyed it until the last drop, it was mine. Sadness invades me knowing it was discontinued. Dior stopped being Dior after Tendre Poison for me.

  • magia olfativa

I met this beautiful perfume when I was 9 in 1997 and fell in love with its scent and bottle. Now I bought an equivalent at a perfumery in my city, and the seller looked at me strangely, saying it was old and out of fashion. I told her: ‘Yes, I know, but I love it’. I’ll buy another bottle before they stop selling it.

  • magia olfativa

I don’t know what will happen when this bottle runs out. Tendre Poison was the trendy perfume when I was 18, the soft version of the EDP for beginners. If before it was Poison Girl, in 1994 it was Tendre; I feel good belonging to this generation of transitions. Although I like new things today, I prefer Tendre over Girl. I sense the Poison notes but it evokes adolescence, innocence, the first kiss from the matrix. Galbanum, flowers, spices like clove and honey; the clove is a bit stuck, but it’s a timeless beauty. I’m starting to fall in love with Edouard Fléchier, the creator of Poison and Tendre. If this is how his works are, what will his mind create when making one of the most controversial and beastly perfumes? Yes, the mother of this and Tendre… And at the same time this work of innocence and purity, almost virginal. Excellent longevity and sillage.

  • I loved the freshness of the mandarin in the opening, but three minutes later, the composition transformed into a buttery aroma of neroli, puffs of rosewood, freesia, green vegetables, and Dove soap. Over time, it becomes greener and woodier, and the honey becomes more prominent, making it sweeter, balanced, and faithful to the ‘Tendre’ theme. It’s feminine, beautiful, and versatile, ideal for casual spring days, though it also carries into summer if it’s not too hot. Projection is moderate and longevity hovers around 8 hours. It’s my second Poison favorite, after MP. Keep in mind that the buttery phase is very greasy and can be offensive. I remember wearing it to work and wondering why it smelled like sweaty teenager drenched in honey. To avoid it, use Cabotine by Gres, almost the same but less buttery. Pleasant: 6/10, Interesting: 8/10, Versatile: 7/10, Original: 5/10.

  • I just got this treasure that Dior let slip away years ago. I used it for the first time today and it’s quite strong. In the opening, you notice the mandarin and bergamota a lot; the asafoetida comes out without leaving an odor. As time passes, the flowers, neroli, rose, and orange blossom come out, sweetened by honey and creamy as the sandalwood dries. If you can get your hands on it at a reasonable price and not at the prices asked on Wallapop or Vinted, get it. I even think it’s to everyone’s taste and a possible blind buy. Great for spring and summer, versatile for day and night. I recommend it.

  • In the 90s, I gave my then-girlfriend countless perfumes, but of all of them, this is the one I remember the most and was fascinated by when she wore it. I still can’t believe they keep selling so many bad perfumes and THIS ONE DOESN’T. The new generations MUST know about it.

  • Polydistortion

It reminds me of Acqua Prima, which I used a lot in the late 80s, though more refined. It smells almost the same, with a huge price difference. I don’t particularly like it, but it’s a scent for everyday wear: it doesn’t invade, it doesn’t bother, it’s soft and doesn’t stand out too much. By mistake, I posted this about its cousin Pure Poison, but no, it was Tendre Poison that I tried.

  • I don’t know what will happen when this bottle runs out. Tendre Poison was all the rage when I was 18, a soft version of Poison EDP for beginners. If Poison Girl was the thing a couple of years ago, back in 1994 it was Tendre; I feel great belonging to this generation, Generation X, with so many transitions. Although I like new things now, regardless of my age, I prefer Tendre over Girl. I feel most of the original Poison notes on my skin, but it evokes adolescence, the tender stage, innocence, and the first kiss of the Poison matrix. Galbanum, flowers, spices like clove and honey that don’t bother, until the clove feels a bit cloying; it’s an timeless beauty. I’m starting to fall for Edouard Fléchier, creator of controversial, intense, and beastly works, yet of innocence and purity bordering on the virginal. Excellent longevity and sillage.

  • Tendre Poison by Dior, a radiant floral, is a nostalgic hug for my 40-year-old soul. Its opening sparkles with spicy asafoetida, sparkling bergamot, warm rosewood, and juicy mandarin, evoking mornings full of promise. In the heart, creamy neroli, sweet honey, enveloping orange blossom, fresh freesia, and delicate rose dance with the joy of my first loves. The base of soft musk, velvety sandalwood, almond heliotrope, and warm vanilla seals an unforgettable memory. My first perfume, still in my vanity.

  • PerlaThiennot

This perfume first reached my nose thanks to a high school teacher. During an exam, while she fanned herself, that scented breeze made it impossible for me to concentrate. One day I asked her what she was wearing, and at 18, I bought it. It started my collection, and it’s a real shame they decided to discontinue this gem. I’ll always remember it.
