  • Very similar to the first Hypnotic but more floral, with accentuated neroli notes, great longevity, and an excellent trail.

  • Reminds me a lot of the first Hypnotic, but with a more sensual, almost human note, more fetish-like, and a touch of softness in the first few hours. The great Poison family.

  • Slightly sweeter and fresher if that duality exists. The trail seems more youthful than the traditional version, but that doesn’t make it any less intense. It’s a wonder; you can buy it if you already own the other because there are subtle nuances between both.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? Snow White. The stepmother took the red apple, popped the cork, and doused herself generously in perfume. My queen, said the mirror, I’ve changed my mind. You are, you have been, and you always will be the fairest. Sometimes it’s so much fun to be wicked.

  • It’s like the original Hypnotic Poison but more floral; to me, it feels a bit watery, doesn’t last on the skin, and just smells like something sweet and nonsensical. I’m not a fan of Hypnotic because on my skin it smells like burnt plastic; this one lacks that note, but for me, it’s still a weak EDT.

Almost identical to Hypnotic Poison, but with more florals. The jasmine shines much brighter and the bitter almond is less noticeable. It suits people who prefer florals over orientals.

  • All Hypnotic Poisons are truly marvelous, captivating, alluring, sexy, warm, sweet without being cloying, with that almond touch that makes them so special. True masterpieces of perfumery. No one remains indifferent if you dress in these fragrances; no one. You’ll be enveloped in an overwhelming aroma. I can assure you. In my opinion, they are all among the best I’ve ever smelled in my life. At least for those who like oriental and vanilla perfumes, you’ll surely love them. Those who lean toward fresh and citrus scents, forget it; it’s not for you. But with this perfume, you’ll surely awaken unbridled passions… Let me know later…! 🙂

  • I just went to the perfumerie and tested this fragrance, oh! I fell in love. It’s absolutely exquisite; I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It’s sweet but moderate, strange, and mysterious; I feel the woody notes and vanilla right from the start, with a floral hint. I want to own it!

  • I just walked into the perfumery and tested this fragrance; aahh!!!! I fell in love!! It’s absolutely exquisite; I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It’s sweet but moderate, strange, like mysterious; I detect the woody notes and the vanilla from the start, along with a floral hint. I want to own it!!!

  • ‘Hypnotic Poison’ (with all its red variants) is, in reality, the least consistent fragrance in the ‘Poison’ family… At first, it seemed seductive in every aspect: its red bottle, the warm vanilla, the almond-like sweetness of the aroma. I was obsessed with acquiring it, and currently, it’s one of the fragrances I use the least: on my skin, it acquires a ‘synthetic’ scent, simple, lacking grace, which always ends up annoying me. It’s not horrible, but it just doesn’t suit me. It does, however, have good longevity and staying power.

  • Hypnotic Poison (with all its red variants) is, without a doubt, the least consistent member of the Poison family. At first, everything seduced me: the red bottle, the warm vanilla, and the gummy almond note. I was crazy to have it, but now it’s one of the ones I use the least. On my skin, it smells synthetic, simple, and soulless, and in the end, it just grinds on me. It’s not bad, but it’s not mine. It has good sillage and longevity.

I’m a huge fan of the ‘Poisons,’ even though I haven’t been able to try all of them since a few years ago I started liking perfumes, and certain versions are obsolete or discontinued. I must admit that one of my favorites is the ‘Hypnotic Poison’ in its common version. I bought the Eau Sensuelle and thought it would be the same as the common one, but I can assure you there are some differences. When I smell the perfume on my skin, I realize it has the DNA of the first version, but obviously the orchid and other flowers mix in the perfume and differentiate it from the other version. When it dries down, it’s very sweet due to its base notes of vanilla and musk. I liked it a lot; Dior didn’t make a mistake; rather, they successfully innovated with this fragrance. I recommend it for those who use the common version or who are overwhelmed by the heaviness of the perfume 😀

I’m a total Poison fan, though I’ve missed out on some discontinued versions. Out of all of them, Hypnotic Poison in its classic bottle is my absolute favorite. I bought the Eau Sensuelle thinking it would be the same, but it has distinct nuances. On my skin, it keeps the DNA of the original, though the orchid and other flowers give it its own touch. As it dries down, it gets very sweet from the vanilla and musk. I loved it; Dior nailed it by innovating. I recommend it to those who wear the classic or find its intensity overwhelming 😀

  • I like this fragrance; for me, it shares the florality of Pure Poison and the vanilla of Hypnotic Poison; the result is a rich nectar that doesn’t saturate or cloy, because it’s softer than the HP EDT and well-balanced between woods, flowers, and exquisite vanilla. It can be worn daily for various occasions; that versatility is also something to appreciate. When I’ve tested it on the skin, it personalizes itself so naturally that it becomes part of me… I feel like a fairy since I hold the apple in my hands… one of my favorites from the Poison line!!! A beautiful floral-vanilla scent!!! Although they tell me they’re discontinuing it in my country, what a pity, now that we were getting along so well!!!

On my skin, it smells quite strongly of flowers; I’m not sure if it’s the orchids or the neroli; I don’t detect the sandalwood, just a woody touch. In my opinion, it’s excessively floral, with a loud opening, and on my skin it lasts about 4 hours. I don’t sense the sensuality; it’s just flowers, flowers, and more flowers. I thought that because it had vanilla I’d like it more; I’m not saying it’s a bad perfume or that it smells bad 🙂 I understand that each ph is different and highlights different notes in everyone; in my case, the flowers are too concentrated for my taste.

I miss this fragrance. I don’t understand why they pulled it from circulation. I hate the original Hypnotic Poison. This was a gift that pleasantly surprised me. Years ago I finished the fragrance and keep the bottle with nostalgia to smell it from time to time. I hope it returns to the market ——————— Incredibly, I was able to find another 100ml bottle of this fragrance, so I’m currently enjoying this sensual vanilla surrounded by flowers immensely 🥰

I had this a few months ago and finished it. I wore it only for special occasions and stretched it out for years because it was discontinued in Spain (I’m not sure if it is elsewhere), and I was sad to think I’d never smell it again. Its scent never changed over time; it’s of excellent quality. It’s very similar to Hypnotic Poison but less sweet, more floral, slightly more elegant and erotic. It had great longevity and a nice trail. Perfect for dates or night outs; it was truly seductive. If you’re lucky enough to find it still in any perfumery, buy it; it’s wonderful.

Thanks La Plus Belle! Here in Argentina, none of those two stores you mentioned are available, so I only have to wait… and I can’t find it on the online store either. What a bummer. I loved this fragrance.

  • La Plus Belle, where did you get this perfume? I’m desperate to have it back and it’s discontinued. I’m from Argentina. Thanks.

Darlenedrock, hello. I’ve seen it at Sephora and Nocibé. What’s happening is that I was also looking for it online, but they don’t sell it there; you have to go to the store. But have patience, maybe they’ll catalog it again. The price seems a bit high, I’m seeing it for 90 euros and others for 150. If not, you can also test the J’adore Absolute perfume, which is a bit like Poison Sensuelle. J’adore Absolute is more floral, the only thing is it doesn’t last as long as Poison. I’ll tell you again about the prices and bottle sizes, I don’t remember if the one I saw was 50 ml or more. Best regards.

What a marvel! Honestly, I thought all the Poisons had heavy, cloying trails, but this one captivated me with an excellent sillage. I tried it by accident while looking for Midnight Poison, and what a surprise; I think it’s one of those perfumes that make you fall in love at first sniff.

  • It will always be my favorite; its base is one of the most delicious vanillas I’ve ever tried. The flowers wrap around you and hypnotize you; you feel so sexy wearing it… I don’t understand why they discontinued it; it’s one of the best in the Poison family, especially compared to the newer ones. Recently someone told me about Tesori d’Oriente Fiore del Dragone; it reminds me of many notes, but logically, Eau Sensuelle is unmatched.

  • It was, is, and will always be my favorite perfume; its base is one of the most delicious vanillas I’ve ever tried. The flowers wrap around you and hypnotize you, you feel so sexy with it… I don’t understand why they discontinued it, it’s one of the best in the Poison family, especially compared to the new ones… Recently, someone told me about Tesori d’Oriente Fiore del Dragone, it reminds me of it in many notes, but of course, Eau Sensuelle is inimitable.

  • It’s the most beautiful perfume I’ve ever felt, along with Addict EDP. It’s sweet and vanilla-infused, but that slightly talcum-like, enveloping vanilla so typical of Dior. Sandalwood, soft rose, and orange blossom make this scent super warm and pleasant. I feel in limbo when I wear it!! It has me head over heels!!

  • Where did this precious beauty go? Why did they discontinue it? Even when the more sober and nocturnal EDP came out, people were talking about Sensuelle being discontinued. Even more beautiful and sexy than the EDT, this warm and enigmatic fragrance was loved by many of us and was the ideal option for those, like me, who never liked the original Poison. That orchid with sandalwood and vanilla did wonders and was a guaranteed reason for compliments with indestructible longevity. It would have been interesting to keep it in the collection instead of Girl and its flanker, which are so common and simple. Unfortunately, I only have the empty bottle left.

  • I really love the opening of this perfume. It’s an orchid bomb, orange blossom, and a bit of creamy ylang, all supported by a sweet, pleasant, woody vanilla that prevents it from falling into the ‘bouquet’ category. After an hour, the perfume has changed completely, losing its floral facet and taking on a smell like salty caramel or playdough. However (and unlike most ‘playdough’ perfumes), this one seems more bearable to me. It’s one of those perfumes that lasts and lasts because on me it projects and stays until I shower. Feminine and for cold weather, I think it can be used at any time and for all occasions in environments that aren’t too claustrophobic (its trail is quite marked), although I think it works better as a night perfume. I’m not very knowledgeable about the Poison line (especially the HP flankers, which I’ve only tried once), but regarding the original HP, it seems much less sweet and its opening much more floral, even though the dry down is quite similar. Pleasant: 6/10 Interesting: 6/10 Versatile: 6/10 Original: 1/10 (flanker of a flanker? lol)

  • I loved it so much and wore it daily for work, until I stopped liking its fragrance mixed with the smell of a few students who smelled like dirty dogs. And I quit. Now, after many years, it seems very sweet to me and it’s always there, waiting for me in my collection, although I’m setting it aside for Narciso Rodriguez Poudrée, which feels less sweet to me. Even though I know it’s a great perfume, its performance on my skin was incredible, more than 8 hours, and on clothes, no need to say. I’ll give it another chance for other occasions because I also love it, but it reminds me of those terrible years… Anyway, I don’t know.

  • Will my great love return someday? As long as it keeps its green notes, rose, and vanilla… Anyway, it was, is, and will always be my signature perfume. I have one and a half bottles, and just like the first day, it exudes overwhelming beauty and sensuality, nothing like the other Hypnotics.
