Descripción
Dior Homme Sport 2021 by Dior is a woody spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 2022, this olfactory composition was created by François Demachy. In its opening, the perfume unfolds a vibrant combination of lemon, sour lime, bergamot, and aldehydes. The heart of the fragrance reveals the elegance of elemi and the heat of pink pepper. To finish, the base notes settle on a woody foundation that integrates amber and an olibanum incense, also known as frankincense.

This, gentlemen, smells like cologne, but an expensive and classic one. Pleasant, versatile, timeless. Citrusy and woody. I recommend using it only for formal or semi-formal outfits (shirt wear). If you want to gift it to a man or grandfather, it’s also a good option (people usually associate these scents with older folks and loud ones with kids). Alongside Terre d’Hermès, it follows the same path. They smell like class. Despite being perfectly versatile, due to its citrus notes, I recommend using it in spring/summer. If you liked Quorum, Agua Brava, Brut, Eminence, or Terre d’Hermès, or if these are your style, this won’t disappoint you. Excellent longevity and projection. Dior is Dior…
Tested on skin with one spray. It smells exactly like Dior Homme. Fresh, very masculine, sharp, elegant. Very good in terms of scent for warm climates, but I can’t find any differences from Dior Homme. I still think they are quality scents but very simple, and the price is a bit high for what the perfume is, but it smells great.
I tried it three times to see if it was me, the place, the moment, or the stars, but honestly, I didn’t like it at all. It smells like something that would suit someone over 40 (I’m 25), plus it’s like a citrus that feels a bit sharp and weird; I pictured my dad using it.
I used three bottles of batch 2B01 and left my review below; I just acquired batch 3B01, and besides the nozzle cap being crooked, it does NOT last like the previous one. Those were powerful from the first spray, needing no oxidation or maceration. Now it’s too soft, less projected, and not as long-lasting; I was planning to buy several backups of that batch, and the worst thing happened. EDIT: After using about 20ml, I sense certain minor changes in the aroma. I detect a patchouli note (something I hated in the H2020) and a slight, minimal dirty sensation. At this point, I’m bored; what happened? Was there an ingredient restriction?
A true alpha male perfume, one of my favorites. From the moment you apply it until it fades, it’s a show. Top-notch projection and longevity. Ideal for daily wear, going to the office in spring or summer, though it works well in autumn too. From the Dior Homme line, this is the best for me. Don’t over-spray because it can become overwhelming due to its potency.
I own over 80 perfumes, and this is undoubtedly the one that smells best to me: fresh, elegant, with longevity and projection that are out of this world.
The fragrance is very good: elegant citrus with a woody dry-down. Longevity is moderate and decent for a citrus scent, lasting at least 5 hours. The issue is its projection is almost non-existent; it stays skin-scent after 15 minutes. A perfume that doesn’t project is useless; even any Kaiak from Natura projects more than this. Hope it improves over time. Thanks to God I bought it on sale. I have batch 4F01. I don’t know the early batches to compare behavior, but if it has already been reformulated three years after launch, honestly, what many brands are doing is painful.
I found it thanks to a free sample given with another perfume; very grateful to that company. This fragrance is spectacular. It starts citrusy and bitter, similar to the yuzu in Eau de Lissey, then evolves into a dark, woody scent. It’s powerful and long-lasting; I applied it to my clothes, and even after washing, it still smelled. Some recommend discretion with sprays. It’s masculine and elegant. Spectacular.
This is an incredible perfume: starts citrusy and sharp, then turns woody. Smells 100% masculine; I can’t imagine a woman wearing it because it’s so manly. Note: only if you like woods like those you’d find in a carpentry shop. It’s ideal for daily wear (not for parties or dates, as I don’t find it seductive). It feels great in heat, and works well in mild or cold weather (not extreme). It’s for ages 23 and up; not for university, but perfect for first jobs and beyond, as it’s quite masculine and might seem too serious or mature for someone very young. It’s zero sweet. Longevity is excellent. A bit pricey (not expensive) for daily use since there are cheaper options. If you want to treat yourself, go for it.
It’s very similar in the opening to L’Eau D’Issey, with that sharp citrus type Yuzu, the sour lime along with the aldehydes achieve that effect. Subsequently, it loses those citrus notes and becomes woody, with a slight touch of the oliban incense and a very subtle sweetness. It is in this intermediate/final phase where it starts to resemble the Dior Homme 2020, being the latter something more elegant and subtle, as it lacks those sharp citrus notes and has the Iso E Super which gives it a smell of noble woods, slightly powdery and sweet. Returning to this Sport, it’s a perfume I like more than the Cologne version, both designed for warm/spring climates and informal occasions. However, the Sport is more complex and elegant due to the woods and amber. In conclusion. The entire Dior Homme line is excellently thought out, going from the simplest and freshest (Cologne) to the most sophisticated and elegant (Parfum). In my particular case, if I had to choose 2, it would be the Dior Homme 2020 for daily wear and temperate climates, and the Intense for colder climates and special occasions. Additionally, by removing the iris note from the Homme 2020, you have two perfumes that are no longer so similar, as they would be with the old Dior Homme and the current Intense.
Bought this bottle to replace my Dior Homme 2020; I liked the scent and wanted to try the Sport version. After three days, I confirm it’s not redundant to own both: they share DNA, but this Sport isn’t for actual sports—it offers a more casual vibe compared to the 2020, which I find more musky and perfect for any occasion. Sport feels woodier and fresher, perhaps due to vetiver or the Iso E Super effect, making it less formal and slightly more mature. I’d use the 2020 for a casual/work look from my 20s, and Sport for casual outings from my 30s; for nights or formal events, we have better options.
I expected something more typical of sporty citrus scents, but I found a fragrance that exudes quality from the first spray. The opening is fresh and vibrant, with an elegant citrus that doesn’t feel synthetic or aggressive. Then, gradually, some woody and spicy notes appear, giving it character and making it stand out among other perfumes of the same style. It has versatility that makes it perfect for any casual occasion. Definitely a hit if you’re looking for freshness with a refined touch.
I suppose it was this Homme Sport 2021 I got to try, and I loved it. Of the Dior Hommes I’ve tried, this is the one I liked the most (Dior Homme 2020 and the Intense). The iris note isn’t my thing. It’s a perfume that reduces to lime + pepper + wood. Sounds super simple and boring, but it’s not. It’s super masculine, refreshing, and while it says Sport, I see it as very good to wear with a suit and shirt. I feel formal, very gentlemanly. There’s something floral or clean in the middle. I could say it follows the same path as Sauvage because it’s so sparkling, clean, and woody, but obviously they aren’t similar. I think it’s super versatile; for me, it’s ideal for almost any moment: going out partying, for a wedding, for the gym, I don’t think it ever looks bad. I bought Dior Homme 2020 blind to play it safe. It’s the same as the Sport, but with reduced bergamot and pepper notes.
When François Demachy reinterpreted the Dior Homme line, negative reviews and insults rained down from reviewers with zero objectivity. They were just looking for clicks to boost views on their channel. The previous Dior Homme Original and Sport, with that cloying, feminine iris, were nothing current and had become obsolete in the market, both in sales and public taste. That doesn’t mean they weren’t fantastic fragrances. Dior Homme Sport, personally, seems ideal as a signature scent for a modern man. Sparkling, woody, elegant, casual, and above all, a distinct fragrance. Regarding longevity and trail, it performs perfectly. As for compliments, it’s subjective, but it pleases those who try it. A perfume with the quality and class of Dior. Now Kurkdjian will reinterpret it, and those same reviewers who hated it will say he committed sacrilege.
A total perfume hit! Acquired in December 2024 with a super discount, the 75ml version for $50 in Argentina. It arrived, and when I tested it, I loved the scent: a well-citrusy grapefruit, slightly sweet, sparkling, and with effervescent touches, which I calculate must be from the aldehydes, but with performance below average. I only used it 3 times in the first month and put it away. I wore it on a Saturday night out at 30 degrees Celsius because I thought it was the best option for a casual outing. I put on about 10 sprays to make sure it was noticeable, and upon arriving, as I started greeting people, three individuals complimented me on the nice perfume I was wearing! For at least 4 hours during the night, I felt bursts of scent, and my friend who was right next to me kept saying he could still smell it. Today, Monday, I put on the shirt I wore yesterday to wash it, and just by moving it, I feel bursts of perfume! Unbelievable that a citrus can have this performance. Totally in love and satisfied.
After a few months and having used 1/4 of the bottle, I must say I like it more and more each day. It’s a high-quality citrus that later, in its dry-down, turns into a very woody scent. As some have mentioned, it makes you feel like you walked into a carpenter’s shop where they just cut wood; indeed, the dry-down is the best part of this fragrance. The bitter opening can’t please everyone; you have to know how to wear it. Serious personality +30. I also have to highlight the robustness of the bottle and its transparent cap, all of very good quality in its lines, giving pleasure to hold it in your hands.
This gem from Demachy is a radiant scent full of character, combining a supremely high-quality citrus opening that, seasoned with pink pepper, offers an elegance and sensuality in the opening that leaves you unnoticed. High temperatures unleash the power of this essence, making it the ideal option for semi-formal outings on summer days. This poem is meant to highlight; captivating in the opening, elegant in the dry-down, and halfway through the development, it releases incense notes with a woody touch, gently embraced by the slight sweetness of pink pepper which takes the spotlight in the fragrance’s twilight, accompanying it until its last breath. It is a masterful composition with notable progression in its different facets, supported by completely satisfactory projection and longevity. In short, it’s a safe summer bet if you want to stand out with this ode to modern perfumery.
Very good for warm weather. Bergamot, pepper, and woods are very present. A bit generic, like Nautica Voyage and Versace Pour Homme. But, Dior… it’s Dior!! Nothing elegant, but very wearable for the office, now that parties at pools and such are starting. It looks great. 6 hours on my case. Greetings!
My first perfume and signature for 6 years was a bottle of Dior Homme Sport 2017. Rich, masculine, elegant, and fresh, but with no staying power. I always noticed it lasted between 4 and 6 hours, which isn’t bad because it’s not recommended for winter or fall. But this… what a beast. I used it every day for military service, and a friend of mine bought it for me out of pure love. It’s certainly less elegant than the 2017 version, but it’s more vibrant and bright because the old one had citrus accompanying the woods, while this one has woods accompanying the citrus, giving that sharp sensation the old one lacked. Spectacular.
Very rich, masculine, elegant, and characterful fragrance. It’s too rich and addictive. Totally recommended.
I’ve used this for thousands of times and I absolutely love it. It smells expensive, and to be honest, I like that, haha. It’s citrusy, quite sharp but pleasant. The trail for the first 30 minutes is unbeatable. The only downside is that it fades quickly afterward and disappears. It’s a shame because, given how pricey it is, it feels like it doesn’t last long enough. You can’t expect much more from a citrus scent, though since it’s Dior, I’d dare to ask for more. The smell is addictive. I use it every day and it makes me feel imposing in front of my colleagues. I’ve worn it in cold and hot weather. It shines more in the heat, but even in the cold, I’ve received many compliments. I’d love for it to be my signature… But it’s so expensive that thinking about spending another $150 on a bottle hurts my stomach. To smell good, you just have to apply a lot… I put on about 12 sprays. That’s all I can contribute from my opinion, nothing expert.
French citrus. Super sporty, energizing, and jovial top notes with quality citrus: realistic lime and real bergamot combined with fresh woods and touches of pink pepper that make it sparkly. Projects for 10-15 minutes. It develops masterfully: the citrus fades and the woods emerge with incense resins, without being smoky. It finishes with that bright Dior touch, making it mature, elegant, and semi-formal. It lasts the life of the perfume. It’s an underrated beast, perfectly rounded and versatile. It evokes elegance thanks to noble resins contrasted with excellent citrus, a masterpiece. Despite projecting at the start, it becomes discreet but elegant, with presence and character. Perfect for daytime formal events in the heat or classy beach outfits. If I had to define it in one word: old money. A silent scent with class.
Mixed feelings. I tried it at a perfumerie and loved it. I bought it and worn it for a while, but I’m not sure if I really like it. There’s a mix of citrus, wood, and something frankincense-like that starts bothering me after half an hour. As it dries down, it reminds me of Acqua di Gio Parfum, with less power but more class. Those potent woody notes I noticed at the beginning don’t come through. At 5 hours, it smells like Gary’s Den by FOMO, which I don’t like at all. By 7 hours, it resembles the dry-down of Sauvage Elixir, which I do like. It’s a changing fragrance with mixed feelings…
I was torn between this version and the Dior Homme 2020 and decided on this one. It feels less ‘sporty,’ more versatile, and somewhat elegant, dominated by citrus. I wear it for dinners or formal occasions in the heat. It’s a good perfume, though not mind-blowing. It’s a solid option if you don’t own any citrus scents and like that smell. Longevity and projection are moderate, but some days it lasts much longer; for a freshie, it’s nothing to sneeze at. Another plus is the quality; it feels premium for a designer brand. It’s a safe, masculine option ideal if you like citrus and are looking for something semi-formal for the heat. Recommended.
Spectacular! Fresh, super citrusy, and with incredible quality. The longevity is beast mode; on my skin, it lasts at least 12 hours. Projection and sillage are excellent thanks to the citrus and freshness. I also own the 2020 EDT, and neither does it last nor project half as much, although this one is less citrusy, with softer woods, more formal, and subtle. An excellent perfume.
Incredible, delicious, and sophisticated. Honestly, the SPORT has nothing to envy. It’s a rich, pleasant, and energizing scent, ideal for spring, summer, and even daytime autumn. In short: citrus with wood and a sweet undertone. Perfect for casual to semi-formal situations.
I love this version of Dior Homme Sport. On my skin, it evolves exactly as in the bottle: lasts over 12 hours with a single drop and has a moderate sillage, which I like because it’s not a bomb that takes over the room. It makes a presence without being intrusive. It has a citrus base with woods that take over progressively, accompanied by a tiny, well-balanced pinch of pepper. It feels fresh and elegant. Its freshness is different from Eau Sauvage, which is basically an intense lemonade. It’s versatile: for the office, friends, or dates, though it’s not its strong suit in very polluted areas. I think it’s ideal for summer and intermediate climates; in winter, the citrus would get lost. I’d say it’s for guys over 30, maybe from 25 if you’re looking to project authority. I remember the 2012 version as my ‘last desert lemonade’—a fine citrus over aromas I didn’t quite understand but were elegant. This one has left me satisfied.
A curious scent; reminds me of freshly cleaned restaurant bathrooms. Quite citrusy with a hint of pepper, like the 2020 version but with less spice. It smells rich and clean, soap-like, but I don’t think it suits me. I wouldn’t buy it; I prefer the 2020 by far.
It was one of my first loves. Starts with a sharp lemon and then the wood wraps around it almost the entire time. The longevity is beast mode: over 12 hours on skin, and it lingers on clothes for weeks. Smells incredible, perfect for formal wear in summer.
10 out of 10. It’s elegant and sporty all at once, one of the best from the designer houses. A rich citrus with wood notes and that unique touch of talc.
The most overlooked fragrance in the Homme line, eclipsed by DH Parfum, DH Intense, and even DH Cologne. Total mistake. Since I tried it at Druni, it was love at first sight: sparkling, fresh, clean, and elegant, a ‘bottled class’. It shines in spring and summer (even at night), but it needs elegant attire to show off its brilliance; the only thing ‘Sport’ about it is comparing it to its more packed-up sisters. Pleasant to wear yourself and on others, with a sparkling opening, moderate sillage, and excellent longevity. Ideal for men over 30. A collector’s gem: 10/10.
I liked Dior 2020 more; they smell similar, but the 2020 version is more complex and much longer-lasting. After 3 hours, I can still smell the 2020 potently while the Sport has already faded. I don’t know the individual notes, but I guess it’s the Iso E Super that makes the difference.
Heavily reviewed already, but I’ll add this: 1. It’s linear from start to finish. 2. Upon application, you feel the quality; it’s indescribable but evident that it’s not cheap. 3. Even if there are a thousand copies, none match the class and elegance that only Dior offers. P.S.: If you want to try the profile but don’t have the budget, go straight for Issay Miyake Vétiver.
Citrus opening with a subtle, desirable bitterness that evolves into very pleasant white woods as it dries. Dior remains synonymous with quality, and this is no exception. Projects strongly for the first hour with moderate sillage and lasts close to the skin for about 6 to 7 hours. Smells like a clean man, very masculine, elegant yet versatile and easy to wear. A true go-to fragrance without a doubt.
Clean, sticky freshness from Dior Homme Sport: starts with potent citrus and a soapy touch that gives immediate energy. As it dries, light woods and pink pepper add character without losing freshness; the amber base balances things out and adds depth without sweetening. It’s a summer fragrance, perfect for daytime or the gym, with a perfect balance between freshness and elegance, avoiding the powdery feel of other versions. A 9/10: exquisite, modern, and uncomplicated.
I own the two most similar versions, the Sport and the DH 2020. I just got the latter; I haven’t owned it in five years, and oh my god, the longevity of the 2020 is literally ridiculous. I think Kurkdjian really hurt the version created by Demachy. If you’re thinking of buying a Dior, go for the Sport version. This one is a beast in terms of longevity. This Sport, being citrusy, lasts, feels pleasant, and ultimately, what you’re looking for is a perfume that lasts and smells like a man. A polished man.
So delicious! My partner bought it recently, and when I tried it on her wrist, I thought, ‘Wow, smells like gin and tonic!’ or maybe tonic water. I wasn’t convinced at first, but man, as the hours passed, I started liking it more and more. A citrusy, fresh scent, perfect for these summer heatwaves. This is the real smell of a man. We tried both versions, and the EDP didn’t last long on paper or skin, so if you want this fragrance to last at least 8 hours, the EDT is your best option. It’s an evolving scent, progressive over time. I won’t lie, the opening smells almost bitter and hard to digest, but it transforms into pure sophistication. 10/10.
The Homme line by Dior has a very distinct personality and quality. In this case, it feels a bit redundant compared to Dior Homme 2020, but this version is fresher, more dynamic, and versatile. It’s not meant for formal occasions like other fragrances in the line, but it’s a serious scent for casual wear. Highly recommended for the office with moderate sprays.
Great perfume overall. Versatile enough for casual outings, work, or dressing up. It’s noticeable and lasts forever. A safe bet for a designer scent that isn’t too overused.
Guys, this is the most elegant fragrance out there. I don’t even compare it to previous versions or its siblings in the line; I just absolutely love it. A fresh, seductive, and incredibly elegant scent. Perfect for looking sharp with character—the kind of perfume that calls for at least a shirt and a blazer, without being overly formal. It’s rich and lasts forever on skin and clothes. The quality is superior to many others that cost just as much or more. Always test before you compare, but I recommend this 100%.
