I tested it in the store alongside So Scandal. I fell in love with one of them, went home smelling it and craving it, but when I opened the bottle, it wasn’t the one I’d fallen for; I got confused. Anyway, Scandal Le Parfum doesn’t resemble the other Scandals anymore; it no longer lives up to the name. It’s a very lovely scent and I like it a lot, but it has terrible performance; it stays close to the skin, and after 6 hours, you have to put your nose right there to find it; on clothes it lasts a bit longer but still doesn’t project like the others. This Scandal is more muted but more sensual, ideal for enjoying on a romantic date. Its delicate, sexy, slightly powdery aroma is perfect for spring weather. It smells great and I think most people would enjoy it; it’s ideal for enclosed spaces to avoid bothering others, since the sillage is very intimate and you have to get close to perceive it. Even though I liked it, I’ve already ordered the one I fell in love with: So Scandal.
This is gorgeous. The honey note is incredible. It’s feminine, classic, and fun all at once. It gives me so much comfort. It reminds me of a summer birthday party. The interesting thing is that I detect a note not listed: salt. It’s not the smell of sweat, but the salt left on the skin after a day at the beach… and then I imagine eating a honey cake in the old kitchen of a beach house.
It transported me back to day 1, 40 years ago. When my dad used to give me girls’ makeup palettes. It’s the same powdery, plastic floral aroma. It seemed as addictive as the smell of nail polish. Haha, I was truly impressed reading so many good comments about this sensual toy makeup scent.
Very rich! It has personality, keeps the DNA of the original with the honey, but adds something more fun with the florals. It reminds me of the scent of products with argan oil, in a good way. On my skin, it doesn’t have much sillage or longevity; I’m not sure if I’m just getting used to it, but I don’t feel it lasts as long. It’s pleasant and a good perfume.
Rich! Right out of the bottle, it smells like Hypnotic Poison and Ilia Tu, then a sweetened jasmine emerges. Where’s the salt? It lacks the DNA of the Scandals; it’s completely different. In the originals, honey dominates, whereas here it’s sweetened jasmine with caramel and vanilla. Longevity: at most 5 hours, with an intimate sillage. Would I buy it? NO, I already own Hypnotic Poison and Ilia Tu, which are bombs. With Le Parfum, I expected something else, like Scandal by Night Intense. I got carried away by the name 😃🤭👀😔.
Unlike other reviews, I felt a heavy trail and much better longevity than expected. It’s a sweet and sophisticated scent, though it loses the honey from the original that gave it personality. I haven’t tried Hypnotic Poison yet, but it’s on my radar. In conclusion, I recommend the original Scandal more; this Le Parfum doesn’t disgust me but is less enchanting.
I liked it at first, but after a few minutes it gave me a headache. It causes nausea and the scent is too strong. The name Scandal fits well. It has enormous longevity and projection, but it smells very grating, caramelized, cloyingly sweet, and synthetic, almost like plastic.
At first sniff, it felt familiar—nothing new, just more of the same. I already own plenty of vanillas. I feared the worst: that it would be like D&G Pour Femme, which is unpleasant to me and I regret buying blindly. At times it reminded me of Donna Born in Roma, oscillating between the two. It’s more bearable than the D&G, but that annoying little note is always there. It lacks projection and sillage and has nothing to do with previous Scandals. I wouldn’t buy it again; I’ll use it up and try layering to finish it. I understand the comparisons to Hypnotic Poison, it’s in the ballpark, though Dior’s is majestic.
Scandal Le Parfum is a rice-powdered vanilla that reminds me of Kenzo Amour, Montblanc Signature, and Candy Prada… I’ll keep testing it. The performance isn’t as beastly as the original: the trail is soft to moderate and lasts only about four hours. Ideal for caramel-powdery fans.
I find it a super feminine fragrance. It has creamy notes of coconut and tonka bean. Yes, it resembles Dior’s Hypnotic Poison, but this version is much more caramelized.
Pleasant enough. The jasmine, caramel, salt, and vanilla blend perfectly. It doesn’t last long; I have to reapply frequently. It evolves well, becoming more powdery and balsamic. It’s not overwhelming or synthetic, it’s addictive and seems to have it all, but it’s not for me; I need a perfume that gives me euphoria and makes me feel alive. It’s not the scandal Raphael sang about. Like the girl on the bottle, I’m looking for that vibrant spark. 5/10.
My favorite by far. Although its sillage and longevity are moderate, unlike the original Scandal, the scent is unique and super addictive. On my skin, it lasts about 6/7 hours and the sillage is only for the first hour. The price is high for its longevity, but the scent is worth it; it’s super unique, I didn’t smell it in any other fragrance, and I’d buy it again despite the negatives.
Overrated, boring, and common. I wanted to try it because of the good reviews, but it’s generic; I’ve smelled it on more than 50 people. It doesn’t stand out, smells artificial, isn’t natural or wild vanilla, seems lab-made. The caramel is fake, the salt is just decoration, and the jasmine is poorly executed. There are no natural notes. It lasted less than an hour, smells like a closet or grandma’s clothes. It doesn’t resemble Hypnotic Poison, lacks its own character, and is too timid.
It’s spectacular! I loved it at first sniff. It’s interesting how it changes over time, very elegant and sensual, a fragrance you can’t stop smelling. Maybe it’s not exotic or very original, but it’s totally addictive and super versatile.
Sweet and intoxicating, just like Hypnotic Poison. A bit cloying but addictive; I’d wear it at night in open-air spots. Reminded me of old perfumes, ‘femme fatal’ style, lol.
I don’t understand the hate for this perfume. It smells delicious; I bought it for my partner and it was a hit. Smells like toffee caramel with a touch of coconut. It projects a lot and easily lasts 10 hours. Depending on pH, hydration, or batch, but if your girl likes caramelous perfumes, it’s a total win.
Three bottles used! When it launched in July/August 2022 in Spain, I went to the stand, sprayed it, and thought: ‘Mehh, this is just Hypnotic Poison’. It crushed my expectations; Dior’s apple note came to mind. They gave me two free samples which I used on vacation in October. Maybe the sun and aftersun changed the chemistry, but the scent stuck: I used both samples and the next day ran to buy 30ml for 59 euros. It follows the Hypnotic line, but the more I wear it, the more it smells of candied almonds, caramel, and sweetened jasmine; the salt isn’t noticeable, it’s pure gourmand. Since it was my birthday in November, I ordered 50ml, and Three Kings brought me the 90ml set with a cream that smells like Scandal. It projects heavily for the first two hours and lasts about 8 hours on skin. It’s addictive, edible, sexy, and nocturnal. I don’t see it for daytime or church, but everyone has their taste. It doesn’t even come close to By Night in projection or sillage; it could have its own line and have nothing to do with Scandal. I save it for winter, though it’s pleasant in summer with moderation. Will I buy it again? I’ll try the Absolu and use up the 90ml, but 30ml is enough for me. I wouldn’t ask for it as a gift; I have other preferences.
Reminds me of Hypnotic Poison but as a modern version. I already own Scandal and So Scandal and love these different flankers. Here, I notice that Kenzo Amour plasticine-like vanilla mixed with Hypnotic. The scent is sweet, elegant, powerful, and lasts on skin and clothes. Pure love.
Undoubtedly the favorite, period. ❤️
For gourmand fans: starts with a potent jasmine that didn’t sit well with me, then reminds me of Hypnotic Poison. As it dries, the almond note I hate from Dior doesn’t show up; only caramel toffee remains. On my skin, it projects well and lasts, but smells unsophisticated, artificial, and easy to mimic with any vanilla body mist. Nothing spectacular.
Intense and sexy to death. I just bought it; I needed a night perfume that was perfect. The charm and difference from the classic Scandal are its intensity and the jasmine; it’s not just caramelized sweetness, it’s also softly floral and salty at the start. Perfect for special occasions. Eight hours later, the scent feels softer and more beautiful.
Too bad I don’t smell the jasmine, just the vanilla-caramel-salty combo… and I couldn’t handle it. It bugs me, feels heavy, and makes me dizzy… almost like the air freshener on the bus. Ended up giving it away…
I want to die. I spent money I didn’t have to treat myself to this perfume. I left the store and got home in thirty minutes, and nobody could smell it on me anymore. It’s a burst of sweetness at first, but it can be deceiving, just like it was for me. Terrible longevity. The projection barely lasts half an hour. Not worth the price.
Despite the reviews, I find it lovely. Once dry, it feels like a mix of Dior Hypnotic Poison with a hint of Versace Crystal Noir and a touch of caramel that doesn’t bother me. It lasts me a long time; I haven’t calculated the exact hours yet, but I’ll update if it’s worth it.
It’s a truly rich, timeless fragrance—floral, sweet, and slightly cloying, with great evolution. Sometimes the jasmine and vanilla stand out, while the caramel lingers in the air; the salty note isn’t very noticeable, and the fresh, green vibe of the jasmine takes center stage. Lasts over 8 hours with a moderate sillage. So rich 🙂
I was about to buy it but decided to try it again. It wasn’t great right out of the bottle… but once it dried down, it sounded very similar to Hypnotic Poison EDT.
I tried it by chance at a store since I didn’t like the original Scandal, and to my surprise, I loved it. It’s very for night, with prominent caramel and vanilla. It’s sweet, intense, and addictive—elegant yet bold. It lasted hours on my skin. If you like sweet, intense perfumes, buy it blind🩷
Beautiful, but it fades before you even realize it.
If you’re looking for a night perfume for a young woman, this is perfect. The vanilla and caramel blend is incredible, followed by a salty note. Just use it sparingly because it’s very heavy. On me, it lasts all night and lingers on clothes. Definitely one of my favorites!
Worst value for money. I got hooked at duty free, but once I wore it, it felt suffocating and completely overpowered everything else. It lasts two or three hours on my skin before vanishing, and it doesn’t even stick to clothes. What a disappointment 🙁
The scent is charming but it lasts NOTHING 👹👹👹👹👹
It’s my favorite perfume ❤️. Its few notes make the final product have a unique and precious sense. The jasmine at the beginning gives freshness to accompany the non-overpowering salty caramel, and the vanilla base is what I love most. Although it doesn’t last or have the expected sillage, the beautiful aroma I won’t trade for anything. I simply love it 🥰.
I love it 🥰. After trying it several times, I finally have it with me. It’s a creamy sweet, nothing like the original Scandal. Addictive and delicious ❤️, I love its notes: on my skin I smell the jasmine, the sweetness of caramel and vanilla, I simply love it, plus the salt balances it perfectly. It’s feminine, sexy, and has noticeable sillage. It lasts well: 8 hours on skin and clothes until the next day. I think it causes olfactory fatigue at first, but yes, it lasts.
The name doesn’t fit, because this scandalous thing has nothing to do with it, it’s divinely unique, welcoming, SO pleasant. It’s a delicatessen caramel, those finest ones made with selected ingredients, perfectly balanced. Caramel, vanilla, dusted with jasmine and sea salt that aerate it perfectly. I love it.
I bought it by mistake, I ordered thinking it was So Scandal and well, I tried it since I already had it and besides, the notes seemed nice… when it arrived I realized it was SUPER similar to one I had smelled before… Hypnotic Poison EDT, it’s IDENTICAL for real. I don’t dislike it but it seems more of the same, it wasn’t what I was looking for. It’s talcum-powdery with a herbal touch (must be the balsamic note giving me that sensation) and sweet. Personally, it didn’t disappoint me because it lasted over 8 hours. Although the sillage is moderate, the longevity is appreciated.
I love it, I feel like a caramel. Sweet, it can be a bit cloying for some. It’s potent but doesn’t last long, so I recommend carrying a pocket sprayer to refresh it every now and then. One of my favorites for sure, I would wear it every day at all hours, even though it’s more of a night scent.
Now I can give my opinion: I like it quite a bit, it’s very sweet, like caramel with vanilla. I feel it tastes rich, even though many say the opposite, I do. It seems very similar to the classic Scandal, well, I love it anyway and I’ll keep giving it a chance. I still don’t know if it will be one of my favorites, but yes, I like it a lot.
I love it, I adore it. I find it mature yet playful. Without a doubt one of my favorites, please don’t discontinue or reformulate it ever. It’s spicy, sweet, with an incredibly rich twist. I find it spectacular for ages 25 to 40. I’m not much of a designer perfume fan, but this one stole my heart. It makes more sense than its brother Absolu, which is drier and sharper. This perfume is spectacular.
Scandal Le Parfum is my favorite; everyone says it’s for night, but I wear it all day and I don’t get tired of it. There are perfumes that should never disappear, I’ve already lost many, I hope they don’t discontinue this one. In love!!
It explodes your head, it’s a wonder. I love everything: from the moment you put it on, that sexy aroma wraps you in red velvet, sophisticated and lustful, making you feel like you have all the power in the world. It lasts 24 hours on skin and clothes until you wash them. The dry-down is gorgeous. Love at first sniff, I smelled my wrist until the day after I bought it. I give it 10,000/10.
