Descripción
Gold Prestigium by Mancera is a leather fragrance designed for men and women. Launched in 2016, this composition was created by perfumer Pierre Montale. The opening features spicy and exotic notes of oud wood, pepper, and bergamot; the heart reveals the delicacy of orange blossom and rose; while the base settles on a warm and sensual blend of vanilla, leather, white musk, and oakmoss.

This smells very rich, juicy, and high quality; it’s definitely unisex with that distinctive Mancera touch. It’s sweet and fresh, you can feel the vanilla quite a bit, but it balances very well with the Oud. Classic Vanilla-Oud combo with a fresh twist. Would I buy it? I’m not sure, I think I need to think about it carefully. Although I would use it, it doesn’t kill me to buy it when there are other sweeter, more masculine proposals out there. But definitely, if you’re looking for something with that Vanilla-Oud combo, sweet and fresh, unisex, and high quality, and you don’t mind paying for a Mancera bottle, then this is for you.
I’ve been wearing this fragrance for over 2 years, and it commands respect. It smells rich, lasts about 12 hours, with beastly sillage and projection. Recommended for day and night in the cold.
Hello. On the official Mancera website, this fragrance is listed only as a ‘men’s fragrance,’ so the house clearly positions it for men. I also find it very masculine and not at all feminine from start to finish. At this point, everyone should wear what they like; that’s the whole point. It’s a classy, elegant, and characterful fragrance that evolves moderately. I’d recommend it for cool or cold climates (winter, autumn, and the less hot part of spring) and for formal or semi-formal events. In the latter case, for example, I’d wear it to a dinner, but not to a club (there are other options at Mancera for that). As for how this ‘eau de parfum’ unfolds: the opening is a bright burst of oud wood and zesty bergamot, highlighted by black pepper. The heart evolves harmoniously between a rose petal scent and a fresh, slightly sweet white floral note. Here, the initial aromas don’t disappear immediately but linger in the background, gradually fading away. The base features an excellent, light vanilla paired with a leather note that strikes a balance between soft and rugged. All in all, it’s an exquisite and undeniably brilliant fragrance. One final note: regarding niche fragrances, it’s highly recommended to always test an EDP, a ‘parfum,’ or an ‘extrait de parfum’ on your skin before buying.
Hi. On the official Mancera website, it appears only under ‘men’s fragrance,’ so the house considers it for men. I see it that way too and feel it’s a very masculine and not-so-feminine fragrance from start to finish. Let everyone wear what they want, that’s the least we can do. It’s a classy, elegant, and characterful fragrance that develops and lingers moderately. I see it for fresh or cold climates (winter, autumn, and less hot springs) and for formal or semi-formal events, like a dinner, but not for the club. Regarding this EDP: the opening is bright with oud wood and tonic bergamot, highlighted by pepper. The heart develops between rose petals and fresh, slightly sweet white floral notes. The initial aromas don’t disappear immediately; they linger in the background, fading slowly. The base puts an excellent and light vanilla alongside a leather that’s medium between soft and rough. In short, it’s an exquisite and undeniably bright fragrance. Side note: in niche, it’s highly recommended to always test an EDP, parfum, or extrait on skin before buying.
Oh my god, what is this? Delicious and addictive fragrance. It’s a spiced leather over boozy vanilla that dries down to a sweet, non-cloying sweetness—a perfect balance for a woman to love and a man not to dislike. In the end, it leaves a sweet vanilla with light oud and leather backing the vanilla; I can’t stop smelling it. Holy Jesus, if you’re a man, please buy it, don’t think about it. It’s delicious, I want to eat myself. Imagine this on a man. I’m a woman and I’ll wear it and share it with my husband. It’s unisex leaning masculine. The oud isn’t aggressive here; it’s light and tolerable, saying ‘hello, I’m here, I’m here to support you,’ unlike LV’s Ombre Nomade which says ‘I’m here to kill you.’ I don’t know why people don’t talk about this masterpiece; I’m glad it’s less massified. I saw all the English reviews and nobody says anything bad about it.
Well, there aren’t many reviews for this perfume and I didn’t know much about it either; I stumbled upon it by chance. It smells great—quite sweet and sparkling, but with a mature touch that I don’t think suits anyone under 25 (everyone knows what they want). The opening is strange: citrusy, woody, sour, and sweet all at once, which can be a bit jarring. But it’s worth sticking through because the dry-down is the best part 😛 In the middle, the sweetness becomes more pleasant and less harsh; you can detect a woody vanilla with floral notes. The leather? I don’t really sense it, or at least can’t distinguish it; if it’s there, it’s camouflaged among the moss and musk (there’s a fresh/bitter hint). The longevity on skin is good, though it can cause some olfactory fatigue. On clothes, it lasts for days. The trail is intense at first, then fades and stays in a bubble… but it’s still noticeable, I promise. I like it, but I’m waiting for winter to really test it out; I think that’s where its true potential lies… Cheers.
Good stuff, few reviews on this perfume and I didn’t even know it until it came my way by chance. Smells great, quite sweet, a bit sparkling, but with a mature touch, not really for under 25s (though everyone uses what they want). The opening is strange: citrus, woody, sour, and sweet, it can be a bit of a clash. But it’s worth sticking with it because the dry-down is the best. In the heart, the sweetness becomes more pleasant, less strident. You get a woody vanilla with floral touches. What about the leather? I don’t really sense it, or it’s camouflaged among the moss and musk (there’s a fresh/bitter hint). The longevity on skin is good, though it can cause olfactory fatigue. On clothes, it lasts days. The sillage is brutal at first, then drops and stays in a bubble… but you can still feel it, I assure you. I like it, but I’m waiting for winter to test it properly; I think that’s where its true potential lies.
Notable fragrance for autumn, winter, and night.
It’s a unisex scent with a sweetness I absolutely love. Although I’m not an expert nose, I detect almond notes and a very wearable oud. At first, it didn’t quite convince me, but over time it has become one of my favorites. Value for money: a steal for a niche fragrance. Lasts about 14 hours, and the sillage is at least 5 meters. Blind buy: 50/50. If a woman tries it, she’ll fall in love at first sight; for me, it took a few days to find the accord. Quality: 10/10. Lasts until the next day like a charm. Sillage: minimum 1 meter for 5 hours. Gender: unisex, leaning feminine, but depends on personal taste. Price: around $85-90 USD in Chile. P.S.: This is my first review, greetings!
