The scent is incredible and very noticeable; it projects for about 4 hours before settling into a nice skin scent for another 3 or 4. That blend of leather and violet gives it a powdery touch that smells absolutely delicious—strong but not sharp.

Hey, just two or three sprays and you’re good to go. Magnetic cap, diluted version… If it’s an improvement, then great. Friends, let’s get straight to the point: if you don’t like it, say so, it’s just not for you, but don’t throw the fragrance away. How are you going to get any mileage out of just two sprays? Good grief. As for the scent, it’s in the same vein as Mr. Pierre, who is an artist with hard-to-classify fragrances (unisex). This is a real gem from Mancera: fresh, citrusy, floral, deep, with a woody base and a soapy note. It’s one of those that has magic; it smells like expensive soap. Try it first. Cheers.

If you know Montale, you know the difference Mancera adds to the oud. Aoud Blue Notes is complex, with facets that keep changing, sensual and energetic, fresh and warm at the same time. Sweet fruits, a fleeting aldehyde sensation, amber woods, contemporary violet, ylang, rose, leather, and woods. A lavish modernity that takes time to settle; noticeable both day and night. The freshness keeps it from being musty, keeping it luminous, with an almost summery and soft oud. The title isn’t a joke; it’s a robust combination of gaia and sandalwood that evokes oud resin without the rawness, dominating the medicinal side. It grabs attention, but you have to try it. The best part is when the floral heart comes in, soft and gentle without being feminine. Sweet and sexy roses with an earthy and purple touch define the complexity. Decent performance, medium sillage for the first two hours if you apply a bit more. Totally unisex, try before you buy because it’s not for everyone.

At first, I liked it, but I prefer Aoud Lemon Mint. This one is more serious, and despite that, it goes unnoticed; it doesn’t project at all, or maybe I should use more sprays. With Mancera, I usually use 2 or 3 and that’s enough; with Red Tobacco, just 2 because it projects a lot; with Cedrat Boise and Lemon Mint, I use 3. It smells rich; I sense something fruity with a woody and floral base. Season: autumn, winter, spring. Lasts 6 to 8 hours. Low sillage.

I bought it yesterday and honestly, it’s a letdown; I didn’t find any citrus notes at all. The truth is, the florals dominate every stage, especially the violet.

The opening is strange, smells like dentist anesthesia. But once that fades, the fruity-floral accord becomes really nice. On my skin, it’s a sweet floral where I barely notice the leather or vanilla. I do detect wood in the background with violet, rose, and fruits. Very rich, quite versatile, though not formal. Season: spring and summer. Lasts over 12 hours. Moderate sillage. Smells amazing, totally unisex. Exquisite.

Excellent fragrance. I bought it on May 29, 2020. It’s a masterpiece. I recommend wearing it starting at 5 PM because it opens with rich, juicy, and fresh citrus and fruit notes. In the heart, you’ll find beautiful flowers and roses, perfect for enjoying on cold nights, with a base of rose, vanilla, and oud. Simply stunning. To truly understand it, don’t buy it blind because it might not be an instant love at first sniff, which was my case. It wasn’t until I wore it three or four times that I absolutely fell in love and started enjoying it. It’s a scent you won’t find in other fragrances. If you get the chance to test it at a perfume counter, do it. If you love it immediately, you won’t regret it; if not, give it a few tries until you love it as much as I do. Absolutely fantastic.
