I just picked this up because I collect the whole brand, and honestly, it smells dead. The lavender is barely noticeable; at first, the praline and tonka bean make it a bit heavy, but it passes in a flash. Then the iris comes out to balance it, leaving a sweet and sticky trail. For me, it’s a total hit, something innovative. Nothing like the old Joop! Eau de Parfum from years ago, which sounded a lot like the Red King or Black King. Highly recommended 🤗

At first, the praline and tonka bean make it a bit dense, but it fades quickly, then the iris comes out to balance it, leaving a sweet and enveloping trail. For me, it’s a hit and something innovative, nothing like the old Joop! Eau de Parfum which sounded a lot like the Red or Black Kings from years ago. Highly recommended!

It’s synthetic but original. Don’t buy it blindly; it’s an incredibly rich ‘candy’ perfume. Hard to find outside Germany despite being recent. I love it and enjoy it so much: a bold, undeniably Joop! style scent.

This perfume is nothing more than a fake lavender room freshener; the scent is terrible. I bought it at MakeUp supposedly as original, but it smells flat, just like lavender, with no other notes, and disappears in under two hours. I don’t get the positive comments on videos about it. I own the previous Joop! Homme (the old brown liquid), and that one actually smelled good; what a letdown. Note: the liquid I have is dark violet, the box is black, and it says ‘JOOP! Homme Le Parfum’.

What can I say about this masterpiece? It’s an exquisite fougère that smells like a tattooed man, a rock star, and pure madness. The lavender opening is a bomb for women looking for a man who smells like a man; it has all that and more. One of the few still available that lasts forever. I recommend trying it before buying; it’s an experience no lavender-loving man should miss.
