I’ve read reviews saying nonsense, claiming it smells like the exact same Francisco Raban. Setting the jokes aside, this perfume is incredible for cold weather. It’s a compliment bomb, but be careful not to overapply it, as it can be annoying in a closed room.
Excellent, but I’ll stick with the Intensely.
It’s a very pleasant fragrance. It has a rum opening that you have to hold for a few minutes until it dries down to a sweet and fresh scent. Its performance is good, nothing extravagant or overly strong. I prefer the regular version. It’s very similar to Azzaro’s Most Wanted. Ideal for cool climates or places, not suitable for enclosed spaces or heat. 100% recommended.
In my opinion, it’s the best version of all the SWY. Just to clarify, I don’t know the Oud, Leather, or Tobacco versions; unfortunately, they aren’t sold here. Absolutely isn’t as sweet as the Intensely, and the rum note makes it exquisite; I consider it the most mature in the line. Hopefully, I can try the others someday; I’m dying to. Cheers to the community.
I already owned the Intensely and was looking for this one. It’s exquisite, but it lasts like an Eau de Toilette.
It’s a good fragrance.
A spectacular masterpiece by Armani, incredibly exquisite, sensual, and sexy, with outstanding longevity and projection. Totally recommended for night dates, parties, and special occasions.
I love it, but unfortunately in 2024 it doesn’t project like it used to. With so many reformulations and it being discontinued, I guess it’s due to the endangered cedar. The rum note isn’t as noticeable anymore; I prefer the Intensely, which I hope won’t end up the same way. On my skin, it rates 8/10, but projection and longevity are only 6/10. If it were like the original launch, I’d give it a 9/10.
Too intense; it turns unpleasant. I did a test spray, brought it close to my nose, and—puff!—the sheer intensity gave me a total aversion. While it smells good from a distance, it’s just too intense, so I absolutely don’t recommend it.
Honestly, it smells very similar to Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum. I prefer the Intensely, which is more caramelized and rich. This one is so sweet that I feel the notes get lost in a sweet blend where you can’t tell what they are throughout the entire life of the fragrance.
It must have been a great perfume when they first released it and the whole bottle was perfume. Now it’s 10% perfume and 90% water, so any imitation will project and last longer than the ‘original’. If you still smell it half an hour after applying it, congratulations, you got a bottle with more than 10% concentration.
Hello, I tried this and the Intensely. Honestly, I expected more; it’s very hyped with a great reputation, but I think they overhyped it for what it is. It smells delicious and is purely for winter. Sweet aroma with marked vanilla that lingers, lavender that gives freshness (sometimes I confused it with spicy, though I think there is a warm spice note present). What I noticed most from the start is that rum note, clear from the first spray, like a brandy or cognac, but to my surprise (negative) it evaporates quickly, not much longevity. It’s rich and gets compliments, but longevity is borderline bad and projection is good only for the first 1/2 hour. Maybe it’s due to reformulations, pity that for the price and smell it offers so little. I was disappointed, I intended to buy it but decided not to. Also, it smells VERY similar to Lattafa Khamra Qhawa, which is more durable, cheaper, and has better projection. In summary: rich scent, for winter, high price, better options available, very overrated, smells like Khamra (this one sweeter). In performance, I think Intensely is better.
Sweet and warm scent perfect for going out for dinner at night or something important. Honestly, it’s a bit cloying, but with 3 sprays you’re perfect.
My Christmas perfume, sweet scent for the cold but also masculine. In my experience, it sticks to blazers or coats for days; on skin it has good projection after 6 hours. Total hit for cold climates.
A beast. It lasted 4 days on my skin and weeks on clothes. It’s the last batch, projection is amazing, it was still projecting 3-4 hours later. It’s a total beast mode, my only favorite, no replacement.
August 2024 batch. A real disgrace. I love the fragrance, but it’s a pity it lasts 3-4 hours on skin and projects less than one. I’ll let it macerate but I’m not expecting miracles. I’m not coming back. The Illo Juan from Mercadona lasts longer and costs 10 euros.
It’s a real shame how they ruined this cologne. I had the first batch and it was a beast mode: projected for hours, cut through the cold, and 3 or 4 sprays were enough. The scent also changed; before the alcohol got you genuinely drunk at the start. My summary is that it still smells good, but I don’t know if it’s worth it for those of us who had the first one, because every time I use the current version I can’t enjoy it without finding flaws. I still don’t understand why they ruin this and so many others.
Emporio Armani Stronger With You Absolutely 🌰🥃🪵 Personally, the best in the line. It feels like it has three well-defined phases. It opens with an alcohol that evokes being inside a whiskey distillery (Jim Beam and Jack Daniel’s barrels), an intense mix of whiskey, cognac, and bourbon notes. As it evolves, the alcohol gives way to a sweet (dried caramel) and smoky aroma, adding depth and warmth. The dry down reveals a sensual and gourmand character, with nuances of nuts, chocolate, and brass; soft, creamy, and addictive, with a subtle sweetness that lingers. Perfect for those who love candy aromas. Definitely for night use (parties, bars), especially in cold months. It’s a compliment magnet and a great addition. 10/10.
I retract my complaint from two months ago: this cologne deserves it. It’s not the monster of the first batch, but after macerating mine from late 2024, I’ve reconciled and even think the current formulation is better. Before, with the original, 4 sprays projected for hours with brutal longevity; the reformulation looked like a capital sin. But here, they didn’t mess up—it’s become more usable. With the first batch, I thought it impossible to wear in cold weather or for work; now it works. Thanks to the reduced throw, it’s more versatile. IMPORTANT: let it macerate for a couple of months if you notice poor performance. It went from +10 hours with massive projection to +/-8 hours (high for the first 2h, moderate afterwards). It still projects quite a bit, so don’t worry, and even though it’s less invasive, over-spraying still burns the nose hairs of those around you. It’s still potent, folks.
Correction is the sign of a wise man. After letting it mature for a month, it went from ugly duckling to white swan. I can’t describe the pleasant surprise of spraying Absolutely yesterday and realizing, from the very first moment, that it had nothing to do with what I bought, but in a positive way. I don’t know if batches come weak and then gain form, but from 7:15 PM until bedtime it projected and projected, and upon waking up today it still smelled wonderful. And the opening is now truly distillery and spices. Bravo.
From the first spray, it smells like an intense blend of vanilla, rum, and woods. It’s very sweet, yes, but the rum gives it a masculine and mature twist that makes it special. It’s a warm, dense, and extremely enveloping fragrance; I’d say addictive. It’s perfect for real cold weather. When it’s freezing, this perfume becomes a genuine warm hug. It wraps around you brutally, almost emotionally. It’s one of those scents that makes you want to get closer, embrace it, and keep smelling it. The sensation is incredible. I imagine it on a young man on a winter night, not for a party, but for intimate moments: a date, a movie on the couch, sharing a blanket. It has a very romantic and close vibe. On my skin, the longevity is brutal: over 12 hours, and when I spray it on my jacket, the scent lasts for days. The projection is beastly. Without a doubt, a fragrance that makes a mark.
They sprayed it on my wrist, and the first thing I thought was how disgusting it was, just alcohol and overly hyped kinetic vanilla. But after 5 minutes, I smelled something delicious; my wrist smelled amazing, the vanilla improved significantly, and the chestnuts were warm. I swear it’s among the best I’ve tried. I hope to have it in my collection someday.
If you’re looking for compliments, use this.
The Emporio Armani Stronger With You Absolutely is, without a doubt, a more refined and mature version of the line. While the Intensely targets a young man looking to impress with a notable gourmand sweetness, featuring cinnamon and toffee notes, the Absolutely represents an evolution: it’s for the man who has grown up, knows who he is, and prefers to conquer with subtlety and class rather than shouting his presence. Compared to the Hugo Boss Bottled Absolu my friend used, the Absolutely has a much finer, elegant, and youthful profile. It accompanies you with distinction, no need to raise your voice. Highly recommended if you like the line’s DNA but are looking for something more mature, sophisticated, and ideal for an elegant date.
Recently, I got a batch that made me think it was pirate-quality; I noticed differences compared to when I tested it in perfumeries, especially in intensity and longevity. After reading the reviews, I think I got a batch without that initial intensity punch of the early lots. The box and bottle are 100% authentic, sealed with a regulatory entity stamp in Argentina. I’ll let it rest to see if that intensity I remember comes back.
It doesn’t resonate with me; it feels too youthful, dominated by that vanilla. The interesting part was the rum note at the start, but it’s not my taste, same with the chestnut aroma.
Marvelous! That’s what defines it. Elegant and refined, it adds a serious touch to the whole line. Each has its nuances, and this one fits my age and style perfectly. It’s true that the longevity felt a bit short when I first tried it, but it’s undoubtedly a brutal perfume. 9.5/10.
10/10. Buy it now, don’t even think about it.
Spectacular! The quality of the notes is impressive; an incredibly rich scent perfect for dates or parties. I find it much more masculine than the Intensely.
One of my favorites, maybe even the best. What makes it unique is that blend of rum, vanilla, and cedar. The rum is top-tier, just like whiskey in desserts, and add the sweet touch of vanilla, and you’ve got a walking dessert. The wood adds seriousness and personality. The rest varies by skin pH, but on my skin, it’s among the best. A similar alternative is Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Intense, though this one is less sweet.
An excellent dark fragrance for me, suitable for almost any age, and even unisex; the opening is simply perfect, the combination of rum and bergamot with that woody touch drives anyone crazy; simply a masterpiece by Armani.
It’s delicious.
I bought it blind due to the hype, and honestly, I thought it would be redundant since I already have SWY, but although they are similar in the opening, SWYA stands out noticeably just a few minutes after application and presents itself with its own credentials. I find it more versatile and wearable, and so far, it has generated an incredible amount of compliments.
A sweet and spiced scent that conquers. Stronger With You Absolutely, masculine intensity that women love; I adore this perfume.
Spectacular. I previously tested the EDT version and Intensely, and there’s no comparison; Absolutely was the best for me. The rum touch is exquisite; I’ve tested other perfumes with that note and it felt like pouring a glass of rum on yourself, but not in this case. Just one thing: don’t overdo the sprays because it’s strong; the last few times I sprayed more than I should have and lost my sense of smell for a few hours.
Stronger With You Absolutely is an oriental, spiced, woody, and balsamic fragrance. The scent is based on the chestnut DNA that defines the entire Stronger With You line; the main difference is that this one has a heavier load of woody and balsamic notes and is less sweet, which makes it more appealing to me. Even though it carries vanilla, it’s not as sweet as others that use it, and they’ve managed to balance the scent between oriental and woody notes. Since almost the entire SWY line is geared toward autumn and winter use, it doesn’t contain notes that add freshness. It could be used for special occasions or night outs. Its longevity is very good, lasting over 10 hours with a noticeable sillage. The versions I’ve liked most from the SWY line are Parfum, Sandalwood, and this Absolutely; still, I haven’t fallen in love with any of them, maybe the chestnut note doesn’t quite do it for me to buy one of them, though my wife seems to like how it makes me smell.
SWY Absolutely is basically an improved SWY Intensely. They keep the same sweet, warm, and addictive DNA, but here it feels a bit more polished and rounded. If someone doesn’t know which one to pick from the line, I’d go with Absolutely without thinking twice. Armani went for the safe bet, and while that might sound conservative, in this case, it’s a good thing because that DNA already works and I love it. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it perfects a winning formula, which is why it remains one of my favorite perfumes. Rating: 10/10. For whom: men looking for a sweet, masculine, and reliable perfume.
Nice spiced and woody perfume. I expected more in terms of longevity and projection, but it’s not bad at all.
Honestly, I bought it with so much excitement because I’ve always loved chestnuts, JAJAJA. But sincerely, I was surprised by how good it smells. It wasn’t a blind buy, though I’d recommend it without hesitation. The rum is delicious and doesn’t feel like you just poured a glass of Bacardi on yourself; it’s perfectly blended, adding warmth and depth without being intrusive. The vanilla is spectacular: sweet, creamy, and enveloping, yet nothing artificial or cloying. It feels elegant, well-integrated with the chestnuts and amber base, making the whole scent soft, warm, and addictive. I don’t know much about reformulations, but if the batch I have (08-2024) smells this good, I can’t imagine what it was like before. It projects and lasts a long time, though it doesn’t “scream”; it’s more of an “I’m here” vibe: strong presence but without shouting. It’s a mature, warm scent with a lot of character. My dad says it’s a gentleman’s perfume, JAJAJA. Highly recommended… SPECTACULAR.
In my opinion, this is the king of the SWY line. I hesitated between this and Powerfully, but I went with the rum one. Projection: 8/10, longevity: 9/10 (it lasted days on my clothes). Perfect for going out at night and in autumn/winter. My wife loved it, and mostly the price, haha; I got the 100ml in Primor Spain for 57 euros. Here in Argentina, only Arabic perfumes are that cheap.
