I tried The Scent Intense and the Parfum Edition; if I have to choose based on scent, I’ll stick with the latter because the patchouli is better balanced, still fruity with a spicy touch. But the performance is a disaster: either the tester was messed up or it’s truly that bad. With the Intense I expected more; here I had to press my nose to my skin to smell it. I’ll give it one more chance to rule out a bad tester, since I like the aroma, but if it lasts a breath, better look elsewhere.
I picked this up and it blew my mind. It smells like wood, lasts all day, and is a brutal job by Hugo Boss. 8.5
I’ve been wearing it the same way for a week, and as a perfumer, its longevity isn’t ideal, though I’m the type to overapply. I love the opening and heart notes and have no regrets about the purchase, though I expected more strength or projection, but maybe that’s just me.
Running low and can’t find it; I don’t want to pay another 116€ at El Corte Inglés for what I already have… I’m sure it’s online… Amazon has it for 56€ (exactly half), but I don’t trust it’s authentic… I’ve never bought perfume there, so… If anyone spots it at an online perfumerie for under 100€, please DM me… Thanks!
Does this smell good and last, or is it like most Hugo Boss fragrances that evaporate in seconds?
