An unusual fragrance. On me, it starts fruity and becomes smoky and woody after 30 minutes. I really like it during the first 2-3 hours, but I don’t enjoy the dry-down much. Overall, I like it for everyday wear: I wear it for about 3 hours and reapply to refresh that scent, which I find very rich. On skin, it can be detected for more than 8 hours. It’s a good fragrance dry, different from most, and has wide versatility. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind, and by the way, it’s quite unisex.
A fragrance with character. On me, it starts fruity and turns smoky and woody after 30 minutes. I love it during the first 2-3 hours, but I’m not a fan of the dry-down. It’s ideal for everyday wear: I wear it for about 3 hours and reapply to refresh that incredible opening. On skin, it lasts over 8 hours. It’s great dry, unique compared to most, and very versatile. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind, and note: it’s quite unisex.
One of my favorite budget picks for spring, cool summer days, or mild evenings. To my nose, it’s a cleaner, less smoky take on Aventus for Her, like they swapped the pineapple for berries. It only reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle for that distinct patchouli base. It starts very fruity, but as it dries down, the patchouli blends with leather and moss notes, creating an earthy base that makes it wearable even on chilly days. It has moderate-to-high sillage and lasts 6-7 hours on my skin. If it lasted longer, I’d wear it out at night, but sometimes it fades a bit too soon. I think it’s 100% unisex. The bottle is simple, but the magnetic cap gives it a great touch. They’ve now released it in the cylindrical Zara Chapters bottle, which is minimalist and right up my alley; I hear it smells the same. Zara has so many affordable wardrobe gems, and this one definitely deserves a spot. Scent 8/10, Longevity 6.5/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Value 8.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy again? Yes.
One of my preferred budget options for spring, mild summer days, or those evenings. To my nose, it’s a fresher, much less smoky (though it does have that touch) interpretation of Aventus for Her where they swapped the pineapple for berries. Personally, it only reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle because of the prominent patchouli base. Vibrant Leather is much fruitier at first, and as it dries, besides the patchouli, it reveals leather and a mossy aspect. These three elements give it an earthy effect, making it suitable even for colder seasons and adding versatility. It has moderate-to-high sillage and lasts 6-7 hours on my skin. If it were more long-lasting, I’d love to wear it for casual outings or nights out, but sometimes it feels a bit short on performance for those situations. I think it’s perfectly unisex. The bottle is simple, but the magnetic cap feels like a great choice. They’ve switched to the cylindrical Zara Chapters bottle now, which has a minimalist design I really like. As far as I know, the scent is the same, though I haven’t tested it personally. I love many Zara perfumes; they seem like great affordable wardrobe staples. This is one that, for me, is worth having. Scent 8/10, Longevity 6.5/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Value 8.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy again? Yes.
