For me, this is the best in Zara’s Elixir collection. Oud Vibrant Leather Elixir improves on the original: it fixes the poor longevity, feels denser and more serious, with a woody touch. It’s not a beast mode, but it lasts all day at work without reapplication. A curious detail: when it dries, it smells like barbecue sauce, which makes it unique. It’s very masculine, though it may divide opinions; many women prefer the freshness of the original. It’s made for someone who wants to stand out and not smell like everyone else. The Elixir label often promises a lot, like Dior, but rarely delivers. Oud Vibrant Leather Elixir doesn’t break the mold, but it delivers solidity and character. It’s a good addition from Zara and perhaps the true Oud Vibrant Leather the fans were waiting for.
My wife gave it to me because she liked the previous one, but this is much more potent and lasts longer. It easily lasts 8 hours on my skin; I put it on at 9 pm and it was still detectable on my arm the next day at 11 am. I loved it, and for the price, it doesn’t hurt to apply several drops. I won’t buy Zara perfumes blindly anymore, even if they’re cheap.

To user pinkman: there’s a version with a black cap that lasts nothing. I know this because I have the gold one and the scent is different.
