I like it, it’s not one of my favorite Givenchys but I do like it. I smell a lot of neroli and it’s so strong for me that it clouds my sense of smell a bit; the other flowers come through in the background, maybe some vetiver and patchouli… for me it’s not a sweet perfume at all, on the contrary, it’s well-balanced. It lasts a long time on skin and clothes, easily all day. Going back to the scent, I get a soapy neroli which is why it doesn’t quite endear itself to me. Regarding the personality of this perfume, I imagine it on those rich girls aged 20 to 35, daughters of millionaires, wearing classic Chanel skirt-and-blazer sets, drinking tea in their giant gardens, haha. That’s my representation of this perfume, but that doesn’t make it smell old, not at all. Anyway, when it runs out I don’t know if I’ll buy it again; I’ll probably stick with the other versions.
It took me a while to like it. I tried all the variations of L’Interdit many times, but after a while, the regular EDP convinced me and turned out to be a classic that never fails. It’s versatile, very long-lasting, suitable for any season; I prefer wearing it at night, though it works on fresh days too. It’s a very elegant and provocative perfume, with presence and body. Developing more after using it a lot: I smell a lot of pear, very sweet, almost sticky, and the blend of neroli and jasmine is undeniable. To me, it smells like a witch’s elixir; it’s hypnotic and captivating. I acknowledge it can be very sweet for some people.
It’s one of my favorite perfumes; I consider it a masterpiece. It seems quite similar to Armani’s My Way due to the jasmine, though L’Interdit might be better, perhaps because of the good combination of neroli, which makes it much more interesting. Longevity and sillage are incredible, over 8 hours; on clothes it’s detectable from meters away, smells sexy, mysterious, yet elegant, and for me it’s a night scent. It clashes completely when worn during the day. I don’t consider it youthful; it has a lot of character and the neroli makes it quite spicy; I wouldn’t gift it to anyone under 25. Excellent perfume, nothing more to say, it’s worth having. There are some great dupes being created in Argentina.
I bought it based on first impression… and while the top and heart notes are amazing, once the perfume settles, you get the neroli and white flower aroma. It’s rich, but it hasn’t won me over like YSL’s Libre Intense or DKNY’s Be Delicious.
Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the neroli note, and not just this one, but all fragrances that feature it as a protagonist aren’t to my liking. I can like fragrances with neroli, but only if it’s a subtle touch. I love the Givenchy brand and the bottle looks cute; so far, only the Rouge version from this line has appealed to me a bit more.
I like it, it’s elegant and strong with character, but I feel it’s for women over 40. The opening is very mentholated and I don’t like that; then come the neroli, jasmine, and white flowers. It’s rich but loud, not subtle. Lasts about 4 hours on my skin; here in this hot and humid zone, perfumes don’t last even an hour. I gave it several tries (about 8 days) and gifted it to my mom, who is 74. It’s elegant, for a woman with a strong character but feminine and confident; it reminds me of the effect of Good Girl by Carolina Herrera, for empowered women who like expensive things. I wouldn’t buy or use it again, but there will be women who will love it and it could be their signature scent. I don’t like the mentholated opening (I don’t know if it’s patchouli, ambroxan, or vetiver), it doesn’t smell bad but it’s not for me. I’d recommend it but I wouldn’t use it myself.
What is that juicy pear for god’s sake!!!
Didn’t like it, smells masculine.
Adds nothing new. Smells generic, run-of-the-mill, overly sweet with neroli and even more sweetness; cloying.
Reminds me of Libre Intense.
I couldn’t stand it; it smells like cigarettes to me. I don’t detect any fruity notes at all—what a fiasco! I have My Way, and it’s definitely a treasure compared to this fragrance. For me, it’s a resounding NO.
Honestly, the perfume is super commercial; at least in Argentina, half the town owns it, just like La Vie Est Belle. The downside is you can’t stand out. The upside is it never fails; everyone loves it. It’s rich, with a lot of white floral scent and a well-balanced sweet, tart pear note. It’s strong and a bit invasive, entering the room before you do, so I recommend wearing it at night or in autumn/winter because it feels too dense in summer.
When I first sprayed it, it smelled wonderful—flowers and wood, very elegant. After a few minutes, all the sophisticated aroma evaporated. On my skin, the vanilla stands out too much (probably due to my pH); it becomes overly sweet and vanilla-heavy until it gives me a headache (if you like vanilla, you’ll probably love it, but I hate it).
I ignored it when it launched, thinking it was just another fruity-floral. A few years ago I bought its flanker, Millésime, and I loved it. This year I saw it at half price and thought, ‘why not?’ Ahhh, what a beauty! Those juicy neroli notes. I fell in love and now I use both. They aren’t that similar; the original is less sweet, I even feel it’s fresher. Everyone wears it, but I don’t mind. A must-have.
I have the mini version because I want to buy the full size. It’s a white floral for sure, but very, very strong and even a bit overwhelming (in my case). It’s one of those perfumes that gives me a headache (probably a specific note), even though I usually handle intense scents. I’m not saying it smells bad, just that it’s not my style; I wouldn’t wear it. It’s similar, almost identical, to Lattafa’s Fakhar Rosé and much cheaper; if you don’t want to risk spending a lot, use that without hesitation. Also, I feel it has a masculine vibe. Overall, it’s a good perfume, just not for me.
This is the most praised perfume I own. It lasts over 10 hours, is super feminine, sensual, and flirty. The neroli and vanilla stand out with a touch of white flowers. 10/10.
It’s gorgeous, a classic, and one of my favorites. I’ve noticed it on several people, and it always smells different on them, which I adore. I can’t quite identify the notes, but it reminds me of violet candies at first; girls love it, and for me, that’s more than enough.
It’s very similar to the Rouge from the same line, but softer and more wearable for daily use; I love it. It’s exquisite, just like its little brother, perfect for everyday wear and truly timeless.
The scent is delicious; I’m especially enamored by the pear note.
I never thought I’d like something so floral, nor had I even noticed it before, but it suddenly won my heart.
My favorite for special events. It’s sweet, has a great trail, lasts days on clothes and about 7 to 12 hours on skin according to others. I feel the heart note a bit soapy but addictive, and the base is very sexy. Honestly, I love it; it’s super sweet without being cloying, and I adore how long it lasts. It’s heavy, perfect for a date or something special.
Top fragrance. Works great day or night, and leaves a good trail.
Impressive for both day and night wear.
My perfume for over three years. It goes with everything, it’s well-balanced, and super sexy.
I’ve never been told so many nice things about a perfume. It became my signature. It lasts for hours and is gorgeous. I love it.
Creamy and sensual neroli, perfect for cool days or going out at night.
I can’t stand this scent; I don’t get why people receive compliments for it. It smells cheap and overpowering, nothing elegant. I bought a small bottle and never finished it; it was so heavy it wouldn’t even work for scenting the house. If this is what neroli is, then it’s a no for me.
Sounds delicious, but on my skin it disappears in a flash.
Mine. It’s my go-to perfume. I wear it all day and all night.
My mom absolutely hates it, but my sister and I agree: it smells like grandma.
I’ve been wanting this fragrance for months. It’s creamy, elegant, feminine, and sexy; the neroli sounds like a bomb. At first, you notice the pear and a hint of bergamot, then it evolves into a mix of neroli, jasmine, and patchouli. If you’re a floral fan, you’ll love it; I love that it feels a bit ‘grown-up’, though younger perfume lovers might not get it. Longevity and projection are 10/10, it lasts hours and everyone notices. It’s expensive but a great investment for the collection. Ideal for daily wear, work, dates, or meetings, though it also looks great at night.
It smells delicious, but be careful, only for autumn/winter. In the heat, it can be overwhelming. It’s a potent white floral with great projection, feminine but with character. Incredibly versatile, works for day or night and lasts forever. Definitely one of my favorites.
I have both the first and last edition. Since this one is on sale, I prefer to use Fakhar by Lattafa, which lasts me more than 6 hours. For the price, it’s not worth it.
I was gifted a sample and when I tried it, I felt it was strong; the neroli is noticeable. The longevity and sillage are good; I see it for formal occasions, but don’t abuse the sprays so as not to overwhelm. I wouldn’t buy it; it doesn’t match my personality, it seems more for older ladies.
It’s very feminine, with beautiful neroli well combined. It looks good day and night. It could be a signature scent, but in the heat it gets a bit heavy.
I tried it to buy it until I noticed that cherry gum scent and changed my mind.
Honestly, this could be my forever perfume. It’s a deep floral; the white flowers are elegant and convey luxury. It moves you up the social ladder, it smells like an expensive woman. It has presence, sophistication, and character. It’s feminine, intense, and unforgettable. Refined and powerful, I love it without any reservations.
Not for me. It has a note I hate: it smells like old lipstick. It’s very subjective, but it smells dated, invasive, and gives me a headache. It lasts and projects a lot.
It has so much personality! Don’t buy it blindly. When I tried it, I fell in love instantly. It’s elegant, not for everyday wear or all climates; it’s super night-time and can be overpowering. I love it and I’ll keep repurchasing.
I wanted to try it for its elegance and pleasantness, but the sample was a disaster 😟. It smells like stuck flowers, very grandma-style like Shalimar. It doesn’t last even two hours, so I went to wash my wrists, though luckily it came off easily.
