Unexpected things are the ones that surprise us the most. On March 24, 2019, I saw the launch of this perfume on Fragrantica. Since I love Orissima and looked at the notes, I assumed I would love this flanker. I was certain it would never make it to my area. I searched for months with no luck, so I gave up and looked for something new. A year and a half later, while passing through perfumeries, I suddenly discovered them there, all together, brand new, and I was left speechless. I blinked to confirm, and yes, it was there: Orissima Divine had arrived against all my predictions. Over the moon, I asked the girl to let me try it. She sprayed it on my arm, and I said, ‘Uffffffffffff.’ I’m taking it. For those who think Orissima is too much, don’t worry. This flanker isn’t heading that way. They created an ultra-feminine, delicate perfume with just the right amount of sweetness that isn’t overwhelming; it’s in the same vein as Gabrielle Essence. It opens with juicy, sweet mandarin and a delicate white flower that only neroli can deliver. Then I feel the very gentle orange blossom, nothing sharp, which lingers with the neroli. The musk gives it a creamy touch, and the vanilla closes the fragrance that I fell in love with. It’s supposed to have jasmine and patchouli, but I don’t perceive them, and for me, not smelling patchouli is a blessing. The sequence is: I left the perfumery, ran to my car, and bathed in Orissima Divine. What beauty!!! Its aroma captivated me. You might think, ‘Is it a Ted Lapidus?’ Sure. But I learned that the brand isn’t everything and that scents must complement each other.
I went looking for a perfume for my boyfriend, but ended up in the women’s section. Since I have so many perfumes, I did a general sweep and spotted the new arrivals. Knowing the girl that I like sweet and heavy scents, after sniffing about ten, she showed me a 100ml promo bottle. As soon as I brought my nose to the cap, I asked her to spray it on my skin. Two minutes later, I couldn’t tear my nose away from it. Love at first sniff. Super sweet, talc-like, with a hint of white flower, but on my skin, the musk really stands out. Its longevity is eternal. If you want to leave a mark on someone’s neck, try this elixir.
I was looking for a perfume for my boyfriend, but ended up falling for a women’s scent. Since I have such a big collection, I did a general review to hunt for new releases I didn’t have. Knowing I love sweet, heavy fragrances, after sniffing about 10, the sales associate showed me a 100ml promo bottle. As soon as I brought my nose to the cap, I asked her to spray it on my skin. Two minutes later, I couldn’t take my nose away: instant love at first sniff. It’s super sweet, powdery, with a white floral base that doesn’t stand out much on my skin. The longevity is eternal. If you want to leave a trail that bites, try this elixir.
I had been searching for months for a potent perfume for nights out and events that wouldn’t burn a hole in my pocket. Since I couldn’t find it in my city, I took a chance and bought Orissima Divine blind, and what a surprise! I’m head over heels. It’s sweet without being cloying; I usually don’t like sweets, but here the vanilla, white florals, and that white musk create something magical. I feel accompanied and contained all day, elegant for galas or work. It’s super persistent with an incredible trail. It reminds me of Avon’s Far Away, my favorite, but this is more vanilla, refined, and powerful. I’ll share that they share notes, though it’s not a clone. Now it’s one of my favorites. Unlike other reviews, I believe Ted Lapidus is a great creator. It has nothing to envy from top perfumes. I recommend it 100%.
Let me tell you, I’d been searching for months for a strong perfume for special nights or events that was also affordable. Looking up my favorite notes, I found reviews for Orissima Divine. I hesitated because I couldn’t find it in my city’s perfumeries to test it, so I just went for it and bought it blind. Today it arrived, and I’m fascinated. It’s sweet but not cloying; I’m not usually a fan of sweet perfumes, but this has a special combination that feels intoxicating. On my skin, the vanilla, white flowers, and that white musk I love really stand out. I’m not an expert with notes, but the overall effect is amazing. It’s super persistent with an incredible trail that makes you feel accompanied and contained all day—elegant. Perfect for a gala, a formal event, or even work. I loved it and I’m already using it. It reminded me of Avon’s Far Away, my favorite, but this is more vanilla-forward, refined, and potent. I bought it blind because I read that, and I share the opinion: they share notes, it’s not a clone, but they do sound alike. It’s now one of my favorites. I consider Ted Lapidus a great creator, and this perfume has nothing to envy from the top tier.
It’s a shame it doesn’t last long on me and has no projection, because it smells absolutely delicious—sweet, floral, and with a distinguished touch. The pyramid is thoughtfully crafted; you can tell there was dedication behind it. A pleasant surprise in scent, though a disappointment in longevity.
It’s a pity this perfume isn’t talked about more; the price-to-quality ratio is unbeatable and beats many expensive designer scents. Orissima Divine blends vanilla (foreground), jasmine (middle), and orange blossom (background) very well, all handled beautifully. There’s a fresh mandarin touch at the start and a musky base that accompanies everything, plus a muted patchouli that adds depth. The creamy jasmine reminds me a bit of Alien, but not quite because there are no woods here, and it’s not like Elie Saab since the orange blossom is much stronger. The fact that it resembles two expensive perfumes says it’s made very well. The name and bottle say nothing, but the scent is top-tier, with a trail and longevity that don’t fall short. I was extremely surprised.
There are perfumes that surprise you, and this is one. Beautiful packaging, ridiculously low price, and incredible quality. I tried it out of curiosity, and it’s a gorgeous creation: elegant, warm, intense, and very different. The essences are top-notch, it doesn’t overwhelm, and it’s super persistent on my skin. It smells strongly of vanilla with flowers in perfect balance, very luminous. I detect a hint of honey and maybe praline. In the end, it reminds me a bit of Angel, with that Mugler signature of wrapping you like a halo of beauty. The longevity is extreme, the base shines with musk and patchouli. Divine and exotic, it deserves a spot in your collection.
I thought the Orissima version was so good that I decided to buy it, and I have no regrets. It has a sweet floral and citrus opening, nothing overpowering, then settles into soft, rich florals on the skin with that vanilla base. It works day or night, for work or a party; I think it will appeal to all ages. It lasts a long time on my skin—7 or 8 hours, whereas most perfumes last only three for me. I love the minimalist bottle with the white glass and gold accents. I’ll keep looking for Ted Lapidus fragrances; I was blown away.
After trying the Orissima version and being so satisfied, I decided to buy Orissima Divine and I have no regrets. It has a sweet floral and citrus opening, without being overwhelming, leaving soft, rich florals on the skin with that vanilla base. I wear it day and night, for work or events, and I think it suits both teens and older women because it’s so adaptable. As for longevity, it’s a bomb: while my perfumes usually last three hours, this one has lasted me 7 or 8. I love the minimalist bottle with its geometric play, the gold tones, and the white gradient glass. I’ll keep researching Ted Lapidus fragrances because I’ve been blown away.
I decided to try it after reading the reviews, and honestly, I loved it. I’m just getting into the perfume world, and at first, it smells citrusy with floral notes. Then it opens up into a soft vanilla and patchouli. On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours. Thanks to you all, your opinions have helped me so much.
Vanilla and patchouli in full force, with a jasmine that lingers from afar. It smells strong and noticeable; top quality for the price. My husband loves it, but I’m split: I like it, though the patchouli feels a bit overwhelming to me. Perfect for night and cold weather, it lasts forever—about 12 hours, especially on hair. The trail is huge; people have heard me from two meters away.
Hi, I just got it and my first impression was that it’s a bit softer than Alien. Since I like Alien, I prefer this because I feel it’s versatile and elegant. I’ll wait to see how it evolves and how long it lasts, as my skin isn’t great for fragrances. Edit: I’ve used it a lot and I love it; it lasts a long time, it’s cozy for winter, and it lingers on clothes until washed.
Orissima Divine is sweet but not cloying; it has a lovely trail and lasts a long time. Over time, the white flowers and vanilla emerge, very soft and delicate. In my opinion, it’s for cold weather and night. It has a great price.
I bought it for the price and the good reviews. The scent is unique: very sweet and powdery with excellent longevity. At first, it seems cloying like caramel, but soon a floral note softens it. If you like sweets, buy it blind.
To me, it’s honey and more honey over red plum and sweet jasmine. It’s like smelling spring.
I’ve worn this perfume for years without being able to love it; something about its blend was overwhelming, but I refused to throw it away. I recently bought Alien, which took me a while to understand, but it helped me see that Orissima Divine is very similar. This one smells less invasive and doesn’t last as long, but it follows the same path. Now I absolutely love it, and little by little I’m accepting the Mugler one, which, yes, is another level. This year I started educating my nose and trying olfactory families outside my comfort zone. Happy 2023 to everyone!
I’ve had it for years and couldn’t love it; something was overwhelming me, but I refused to let it go. Recently, I bought Alien, which was a battle to understand, but it helped me grasp Orissima Divine because they are so similar. Certainly, this one is less invasive and persistent, but they follow the same path. Today, I love it, and little by little, I’m accepting Mugler’s scent, which is… saying something. This year, I set out to educate my nose and give opportunities to fragrance families outside my comfort zone. Happy 2023 to everyone.
It’s a scent very similar to Mugler’s Alien. I tested them side-by-side and they seem indistinguishable, even without being an expert. Maybe they differ on skin or over time, but I’m happy I bought it without spending so much. I agree with amatista77: now that I understand this, I’ll understand Alien better. For spring, I think it’s perfect.
I was gifted this perfume and loved it instantly, which is rare because I hate sweets and this is DEFINITELY sweet. The moment I smelled it from the cap, I detected a powdery freshness with fresh jasmine and fell in love. On skin, it’s HUGE but nothing invasive. The best part is its development: as it dries down, notes emerge in chords that blend together. I never get the citrus; to me, it’s a bouquet of jasmine with a heart of patchouli and amber. It has vanilla, which is usually my least favorite, but it’s not cloying—just powdery and refined. I sense a persistent, delicious honey. The longevity is incredible: it lasts until my next shower and on clothes until washed. The bottle is BEAUTIFUL, elegant in gold and white. It offers the best price-to-quality ratio. I feel hugged by a fluffy, powdery cloud of florals. It doesn’t go unnoticed, but it’s not annoying. Plus, men love it; it’s brought me the most compliments. For me, it’s a 10/10.
Drinking a tangerine and honey tea in a garden of honeysuckle and jasmine. That is Orissima Divine.
I’m torn on this perfume. I love how it evolves on my skin: a sweet, musky white floral where neroli shines bright with an apricot-jasmine accord, though I didn’t detect the tangerine. It’s linear, but I like that. The longevity is disappointing; it projects massively for the first three minutes before dropping to skin scent, lasting about 4 to 5 hours. The price is excellent, but the presentation doesn’t convince me. It has a lovely vintage vibe, different from current trends. I don’t think they reformulated it, but who knows. I like it, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
The discontinued Amadisimo White Soul Gold and Diamonds, now back in a different bottle and perhaps improved, remains my absolute favorite 💟
