Asad Bourbon by Lattafa Perfumes is a spicy oriental fragrance for men. Launched in 2025, this creation unfolds a fragrance pyramid where the top notes combine lavender, damson plum, and pink pepper. I own about 35 Arabic perfumes, and this one is sensational: very balanced, well-made, and with great longevity. It’s one of those you spray on your arm and keep smelling all day. For me, it was a blind buy, and I’ll definitely repurchase it without hesitation, along with CDN Intense, Hawas Ice, Dumont Nitro Intense, and 9 pm Elixir.
At first, I was buying decants, and the seller gave me an Arabic bottle for free with every ten. I picked this thinking it was the regular Asad, recommended by Andrés Croxatto, but by mistake I got the Bourbon. It turned out to be my favorite scent of all. I didn’t even notice the chocolate, but I didn’t mind; it’s the first fragrance I never get tired of. Ideal for young people or cold nights at parties, it’s a warm hug with every breath. I absolutely love it.
Smells like Axe Chocolate. If you’re looking for that scent to be all yours, it’s definitely yours.
At first, it didn’t grab me; I tried it and forgot about it for weeks because something didn’t click with my nose. Then, at a perfume shop, while trying to sharpen my senses, I smelled The Most Wanted Intense, Bad Boy, and Valentino Born in Roma Intense. Analyzing them, I felt a strange familiarity. Five minutes later, the lightbulb went on: it was the Asad Bourbon. I went home and looked it up; my jaw dropped when I realized this beast has the DNA of those three giants. If you want something unforgettable that turns heads and is worth the price without breaking the bank, this is the one. If you can afford the others, go for it, but no one will know you’re wearing the Asad Bourbon.
Chocolate and lavender, lasts like a champ, and projects beautifully. Not exclusive to night; perfect for work or the university.
It’s quite sweet; upon application, you notice plum and pepper, followed by cocoa, nutmeg, and amber with hints of vanilla and davana. On my skin, nutmeg, vanilla, and amber dominate. The longevity was curious: I applied it at 5:21 and it stopped projecting by 9, but it lingered close to the skin for another four hours before fading. It resembles Valentino Intense only at the start, then evolves and moves away. It’s best for cold weather; don’t wear it to the gym because on my skin it smells like plastic vomit and can be unpleasant.
Smells like chocolate and lavender, lasts forever, and projects really well. Not just for night time; I wear it all day at the office or in class.
After weeks and two months, this perfume still smells amazing. It lasts about nine hours with a projection of three. It’s very good if you’re just starting out. I love the lavender and cocoa combination.
It lasts quite a while, but the scent doesn’t convince me. It’s invasive, heavy, and tiring; it can even cause headaches. The chocolate note is noticeable, but it’s too sweet, lacking balance and soul, with no evolution. If you’re looking to stand out for little money, this is your perfume. A pity for teenagers, especially those from Argentina or the region, because it smells just like Axe Chocolate.
Rich, sweet, and spiced with great balance. It’s a mainstream fragrance with massive appeal. The vanilla and cocoa blend is spectacular. Perfect for winter and informal, nighttime wear, suitable for all ages. While the cocoa might remind you of Axe Chocolate, that would be a mistake; this is far more complex and evolves beautifully. It starts with a fresh lavender note lasting about 5 minutes, then moves to a dry cocoa and nutmeg heart. By the hour, the base settles: vanilla, amber, and the cocoa heart, offering intense sweetness that isn’t cloying for about 4 hours. Later, the sweetness fades on my skin, leaving a lightly sweetened vanilla cocoa, accompanied by the plum acidity from the opening and a softly bitter vetiver that adds depth and character. Sometimes it recalls three fragrances: Valentino, Azzaro, and the SWY mentioned earlier. It’s excellent because, despite those similarities, it has its own identity and isn’t a direct clone. I tested it with 2 sprays on the back of my hand, and it lasted 8-9 hours without being bothersome; I hope temperatures drop so I can try it with 8-10 sprays. I insist: reducing its scent to ‘Axe Chocolate’ is superficial.
It’s chocolate, lavender, and vanilla, but honestly, this Arabic scent smells just like Axe de Chocolate. If you like Bad Boy, you’ll love Asad Bourbon.
Those who say it smells like Axe de Chocolate are right about the cocoa note, but it’s not a linear scent nor does it reduce to that. I bought it blind for 30 dollars with high expectations, and it reminded me a lot of Azzaro TMW Parfum. It’s far from BIR except for that initial lavender blast. I sprayed 10 times and ended up dizzy; it projects a lot but disappears from the skin after 6 hours. I’ll let it macerate for a few months to see how it develops.
If you let this fragrance oxidize for a month, it fills rooms with just 7 sprays. For the price, it’s totally worth it; it’s a delight and besides, women love it.
Good fragrance; in my case, lavender, pepper, and cocoa dominate, not as sweet as others say. I see it as perfect for autumn or spring before the heat. I’d rate projection and longevity 6.5, but for the price, it’s a smart buy.
It’s a bomb of lavender and cocoa where pepper and a touch of plum balance it without being cloying. Ideal for cold night dates. Although it reminds me of Axe de Chocolate, it surpasses it in performance and scent by far. I wore it at 7am and could still smell it at 4pm; projection lasts about 2 to 3 hours. I keep it to let it oxidize and perform better. If you liked Bad Boy OG, this is an affordable replacement with better performance. For under 35 dollars, it’s a pleasant surprise.
Many define it as a mix between Valentino BIR Intense and Azzaro The Most Wanted, and I confirm both are present, but with a sweeter, more vanilla twist and cocoa. I’ve read that some smell Axe de Chocolate, which is funny, but my first impression sniffing the bottle was exactly that. On skin, dry down, it beats any other fragrance in its price range. With its brutal performance (I got it on sale in Spain for 25 euros), it quickly became one of my favorites and I use it regularly, except in summer. Probably the fragrance I’ve recommended the most in my life.
I love it, one of my best buys of 2025. Good price, good longevity, and an amazing scent, too good for everyday winter wear. No regrets with this perfume.
It’s a quite rich fragrance, and as generally said, it’s a combination of Born in Roma and Azzaro, though to me it smells much more like Azzaro The Most Wanted. That lavender note in the opening is one of the things I like most about this perfume. Buy blind 100%, especially if you like sweet but non-invasive perfumes. The longevity is quite good, though I wouldn’t consider it a beast mode perfume.
One of my best blind buys. An exquisite scent that has earned me many compliments at parties and night outs. Quality and price: spot on. Longevity and projection are very good; 4 sprays are enough for a night. I wouldn’t wear it daily or in the heat; it’s sweet and can be overwhelming at the office or school. Perfect for dates or events where you want to stand out. It’s very similar to BIR Intense and TMW Intense, like a hybrid of both. Asad Bourbon is worth it; it doesn’t smell synthetic like others.
I hate it; it feels oppressive to me.
I bought it blind looking for something for winter, since my collection is mostly summer scents. Being from Northeast Mexico, I wanted something for the December-February cold. After reading reviews, it was a total hit. From the first day at the office, I got compliments; a coworker said it smelled ‘chocolatey’ and yes, it’s noticeable quickly, but it’s not cloying. It works great in cold or mild weather. Longevity is another win: 4 sprays last all day. I’ve never owned Azzaro The Most Wanted, but after trying it, the resemblance is brutal. For the price, it’s an excellent option.
Wow… I read some previous reviews (by canary or kkcc) and got scared. When it arrived, I was worried… The box is very pretty (better than many designer boxes), the bottle is spectacular, shiny, stands out… The atomizer is basic and I don’t like the cap. I understand why people compare it to Wanted Intense (I own it too), and I must say that while there are differences if you compare them side-by-side, nobody on the street will notice. Projection lasts about an hour or two; longevity… it’s been 7 hours on my skin (let alone on clothes). The opening is great, and the dry-down is even better. I got it for €25, and it’s amazing. Some women liked it, others said it smelled a bit strange, but once they got used to it, they found it sexy and even sweet.
Pure autumn and winter vibes, almost identical to Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP. It’s a gem: a sweet gourmand with spaced-out spicy notes that give it character. Super wearable, buy it blind without fear, 100% recommended.
In the opening, I can detect some fruit (according to the notes, it’s plum), accompanied by a clean, well-executed lavender. The best part for my taste comes in the dry-down: it’s tasty, sweet, and warm, yet it doesn’t lose its masculine touch. Definitely a good perfume for cold weather and temperate climates below 20 degrees. I don’t usually buy perfumes based on compliments, but I must say this fragrance does generate them.
I’ve received plenty of compliments on this scent. Personally, I love it. I’d totally recommend it for cold weather and casual wear. It’s soft and elegant. A great perfume at a very affordable price.
Very good perfume. The opening is a bit mixed, somewhere between AMW, Valentino BIR, and SWY, leaning more towards a Valentino lavender note, before evolving into a cocoa scent typical of SWY that reminds me of chestnut or vanilla. Usable for any occasion; I wear it daily or for casual outings. Rating: 9/10.
I smelled it at the Carrefour perfumery, and honestly, the opening is a bit chaotic, but the dry-down does resemble Azzaro quite a bit and has good longevity. Same as always… if you have money, go for the Azzaro; it’s much higher quality. If not, this isn’t bad either. In summary, a good perfume.
It’s a bit of an odd perfume, I’d say. Sure, it’s rich and people will like it, but it didn’t pleasantly surprise me. The opening is very confusing and explosive, with a bright lavender note that resembles Valentino BIR Intense (nowhere near matching that quality), but the cocoa overshadows it. I didn’t love the opening; it reminds me of Axe’s Dark Temptation. The dry-down is richer and resembles the vanilla in ATMW a bit, but like the lavender in BIR, it doesn’t reach that quality at all. In short, it’s a good perfume; maybe my nose was congested or it just arrived today, I don’t know. For now, it disappointed me a bit because I don’t sense any of the DNA notes some reviewers claimed it had. I’ll give it a 6/10 for now—it’s rich, easy to like, and wearable, but I can’t pinpoint a moment where I thought, ‘Okay, this perfume is going in this direction.’ I hope it matures and improves because I feel it should. Personally, it didn’t surprise or please me much, but it’s very likely everyone in your circle will love it.
The opening inevitably reminds you of Valentino BIN Intense, lavender and vanilla. In the dry-down, it can also echo Azzaro. I own both, and yes, the similarity is undeniable. After an hour, the lavender fades, leaving a sweeter, chocolatey aroma. I see it as undeniably suited for dates and nights out. However, I tried wearing it to the office once to test its performance in enclosed spaces, and two people mentioned I was leaving a trail. It’s clear the first two hours have strong projection. For the price, it’s a great deal. A definite blind buy; I don’t think anyone would find it horrible, haha.
Hello, wow, this perfume is incredible. I own Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP Intense and I don’t think this is a dupe, but the evolution from the opening to the dry-down on skin is phenomenal. Scent 10/10, projection 10/10, and longevity 10/10. Mainly vanilla and chocolate, with that amazing lavender note.
Asad Bourbon, what can I say? I bought it due to the hype on social media, and I hated it. It smells like chocolate, ‘it smells like Axe Musk.’ I don’t recommend it for mature men; it’s a youthful, sweet, nocturnal, sexy scent, best for guys up to 30 at most.
It’s a rich scent, but it doesn’t resemble anything it’s supposedly inspired by. Once it dries down, it’s just chocolate and vanilla.
Rich. Chaotic at the opening, where it most resembles Valentino BIR Intense, then dries down closer to Most Wanted but with a touch of simplicity. It brings compliments, smells masculine, but not in a severely traditional way—more modern. That last point makes it feel youthful and nocturnal, thanks to its extremely sweet, autumnal, and winter-forward profile.
It smells sweet, reminding me of those strawberry chocolate bars they used to sell back home. Not for hot days, more for night or cold weather. Decent performance. It’s unisex, fresh yet sweet at the same time; it can be a bit cloying but smells good. I don’t think many will hate it, but not many will love it either; it’s youthful. If it’s cheap, it’s a good buy, but it’s not a perfume that will drive you crazy.
I own a collection of 13 perfumes, including some ultra-sophisticated, critic-acclaimed masterpieces with all the fanfare, yet none have earned me as many compliments as this one. It’s just a rich scent. I chatted with a perfume enthusiast and we agreed it’s not for everyone: the smell itself appeals to all, but wearing it requires personality and presence to match its richness. If you don’t know how to wear it, it can even be overpowering. Whenever I wear it out, people can’t stop telling me how good I smell, though I’ve met others who own it but struggle with it, feeling it’s too much for them. It’s definitely a blind buy.
I tested 30 fragrances in decants to pick just three for full bottles, and Asad Bourbon was one of them! It’s a super versatile scent, perfect for almost the whole year except when it’s scorching hot. Complex, rich, and incredibly pleasant. The mirabelle plum citrus top note is only noticeable at first, but if you spray it on clothes, that rich citrus vibe lingers much longer. Moderate sillage lets you wear it almost anywhere. Longevity is modest, so I keep a decant handy for reapplication. I’m letting it macerate to boost it over a month or two, but every time I wear it, I absolutely love it! I once pitted it against Liquid Brun, one of the most voted scents, but Asad Bourbon feels like the better buy—it’s nearly half the price and offers more complexity than LB, which just smells like dessert to me.
Easy to wear, nothing deep or challenging; I don’t think there’s anyone who wouldn’t like it. Smells clean and sweet. It’s quite linear; what I notice most is a very bright lavender and the vanilla. If you’re looking for something complex, mature, or innovative, this won’t work for you, but everyone will surely like it. It’s one of my favorites, for sure, though the opening makes me sneeze too much.
Basically, it’s an Azzaro The Most Wanted with a cocoa note that’s a bit too heavy, and frankly, it ends up being a bit annoying to me.
Clean, sweet, and spicy opening from the bourbon vanilla, lavender, chocolate, and nutmeg blend. Lasts about 8 hours. The sillage is normal; you won’t be smelled from across the room unless you go overboard with the sprays (it’s not a Hawas). Wear it in cool weather, autumn, and winter, for the office or going out (not for the gym, you’ll kill someone). Since it’s sweet and chocolatey, everyone will like it. It’s a blind buy, but better to try it first. In short: it’s like mixing Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP with Valentino Born in Roma; you’ll get full of compliments and the price is a steal. For cold climates and any time of day, it can easily be your winter signature.
Hey, what a fragrance, huh? An insane cocoa and vanilla scent that clings to your clothes for hours. Honestly, I’m blown away; it’s an absolute hit.
