Descripción
Invictus Onyx Collector Edition by Rabanne is a men's fragrance from the olfactory family launched in 2020. This composition was created by Veronique Nyberg, Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, and Olivier Polge. The top notes reveal a marine freshness accompanied by grapefruit and tangerine; the floral heart unfolds with laurel and jasmine; while the base settles on ambergris, patchouli, guaiac wood, and moss.

Brutal fragrance, I’m already on my third bottle. It’s been my signature scent since 2015.
What are you talking about, cousin? This fragrance came out almost brand new (2020).
It’s the usual Invictus, just leaning slightly more towards the side to emphasize its citrusy grapefruit aspect (how novel!). It still smells the same but with stronger grapefruit touches. We needed more perfumes smelling like the usual Invictus (as if there weren’t already 3 identical versions x(
It’s the same old Invictus, just emphasizing the sticky, resinous smell a bit more to highlight its citrusy grapefruit side—what a novelty! It still smells like the same Invictus, but with stronger grapefruit touches. We needed more perfumes that smell like the usual Invictus (as if there weren’t already three identical versions x(
As the first comment says, it’s the same perfume; the only thing that changes is the bottle, and they keep saying that in the name. The bottle is very pretty; if I were to buy the original Invictus, I’d choose this presentation.
Smells very similar to normal Invictus, with herbal notes, especially laurel, standing out more, along with monstrous sillage, longevity, and fixation.
It smells very similar to regular Invictus, with the herbal notes standing out more, especially the bay laurel, boasting monstrous trail, longevity, and sillage.
Wooow!!!! I loved it so much. It’s more complete than the original, not identical but similar. I think this one is a bit more mature, complex, intense, and better crafted. Longevity is excellent and projection is very good. I think it’s worth trying; I bought it blind and have no regrets, but if you don’t want to take the risk, buy a decant and find out for yourself. For me, it’s an 8.5 out of 10.
Wow! I loved it. It’s more complete than the original—not the same, but very similar; it feels a bit more mature, complex, intense, and better made. The longevity is excellent and the projection is great. Worth trying; I bought it blind and have no regrets, but if you don’t want to risk it, grab a decant and test it yourself. For me, it’s an 8.5 out of 10.
It carries ambergris and patchouli, which are very pleasant; success is almost guaranteed, though it has an DNA very similar to the old Invictus… that’s why I get the feeling they are squeezing the milk cow dry again with repeated Invictus releases. With these editions and re-releases… how won’t they do something different and stop calling it Invictus 2.0, then 3.0, etc.? Please!
The packaging screams ‘juicy,’ but it’s the exact opposite. For me, this flanker didn’t have the same impact as its siblings; I viewed it as a black beast before trying it, but after using it, I concluded it’s not for the tropics since its sillage becomes precarious and weak in the heat. In cold weather, it performs well. For me, it’s a failed attempt by ADG Profumo, as its black aesthetic aligns with Kenneth Cole’s target—a scent that is more green, floral, and masculine than Amaderada. I apologize to the clients I recommended this to; unfortunately, they noticed that a Splash outperforms it in longevity. Longevity: 1/10 Projection: 1/10 Masculinity: 8/10 Sensuality: 7/10 Overall Rating: 4
Great buy. It’s cheaper than the original Invictus, projects well, and lasts all day. It’s a beast mode with better performance than Platinum. If you see it on the shelves, don’t hesitate to grab it.
Invictus Onyx: I picked it up at a great price and got a pleasant surprise. The opening is delicious; grapefruit and tangerine dominate masterfully at first. Then the intensity drops, it stops being so juicy, and aquatic notes with a herbal touch emerge. It settles into a salty aquatic composition. Very rich for hot weather, not overpowering, lasts well but isn’t a beast. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 7/10 Compliments: 9/10 (RECOMMENDED)
Invictus Onyx, I got it at a great price and was pleasantly surprised. The opening is delicious; the grapefruit and tangerine are front and center, and the opening is masterful. Then the intensity drops, it stops being so juicy, and the aquatic notes come out alongside the herbal facets. Finally, it settles into an aquatic composition with a salty touch. A very rich fragrance for hot weather; it’s not overpowering, lasts well, but isn’t quite a beast. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 7/10, Impressions: 9/10 (RECOMMENDED).
It’s the usual Invictus, just in a different bottle. In fact, I have this one and not the original EDT, but they’re the same.
It’s the usual Invictus but in a different bottle. In fact, I own this and not the original EDT, and they smell identical.
Out of all the derivatives, this is the only citrus one that feels versatile and incredibly seductive.
Of all the flankers, this is the only one I consider a fairly versatile and seductive citrus.
