A showstopper, totally different from classic Zanzibar! Super fresh and versatile for any occasion, long-lasting with great projection. Very easy to like, reminiscent of the Invictus DNA, a blend between Parfum and Onyx. Highly recommended as a signature scent, bravo Lattafa!
Comparing it to Fakhar Black, this Zanzibar is less youthful since it lacks apple, but it keeps that casual touch that makes it versatile. While Fakhar isn’t used as freely in the heat, here the YSL inspiration leans more into cinnamon and tonka bean, steering the profile toward freshness. It’s versatile with a casual/sport vibe, works without issues in the heat, and holds up quite well in the cold.
Good perfume, smells super delicious, excellent for summer and office days. Projects for about 3 hours; for such a cheap price, it’s a fantastic buy.
Another Invictus DNA… Some compare it to Hawaii Ice, but the latter is louder, more youthful, sweet, and fruity at least at first. Zanzibar Limited sits right between regular Hawaii and Ice. So far, these are my first impressions; note that I got compliments on Ice, but since it’s flashier, it stands out more. I bought it for the soapy note that caught my attention, but honestly, it feels a bit redundant. Still, recommended for the price-to-quality ratio, approved. It would be great for work, though it’s the same DNA. They just tweak some nuances and minute details side by side.
I haven’t used it deeply yet, but I smelled it in the store and my jaw dropped. Totally different from the controversial original Zanzibar, so I went back and bought it on a whim, almost blindly. It’s unopened, but the scent has a unique charm with a fresh, slightly sweet DNA that reminds me of Invictus, heading in that direction. I’ll analyze how it performs and what it’s like in action, but aromatically, it was a very well-executed twist.
Finally, a clean Invictus thanks to the soapy note. Perfect for everyday wear, pleasant, fresh, not annoying, loved it, and lasts forever.
