Descripción
Valentino Uomo Born In Roma Coral Fantasy by Valentino is a woody aromatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2022, this composition was created by Nicolas Beaulieu and Jean-Christophe Hérault. The top notes unfold a vibrant freshness with red apple, cardamom, and Calabrian bergamot; the heart reveals a spicy floral with lavender, bourbon geranium, and statice; while the base notes add warmth and depth with tobacco leaf, patchouli, and Haitian vetiver.

Versatile for any occasion and weather, low projection and short sillage, so good for indoor work. Easy to like and a great option for gifts. It’s slightly sweet, nothing like the cloying ones. Although I stick with Intense and Extradose. I wouldn’t buy it now because I feel it’s very subtle, but I’ll use it because I like it.
Starts sweet without being over the top, then the tobacco really shines. I see it similar to JPG Scandal or LM Elixir. Lasts and projects well, easy to like. I’m into mature scents and still found charm in it. Very good fragrance, it will turn heads.
A modern and sophisticated jewel for the modern man. Valentino surprised with Coral Fantasy, a balanced mix of freshness, sweetness, and elegance. If you’re looking for something different but versatile, it’s your option. The opening with apple, cardamom, and bergamot is refreshing and juicy, not too sweet. In the heart, lavender, geranium, and statice give an elegant floral and herbal touch. The base with tobacco, patchouli, and vetiver adds depth and warmth. Its great advantage is versatility: it’s not heavy for daily wear in autumn, spring, or winter, though it can be intense in extreme heat. Lasts about 6-8 hours with good projection without being invasive. It evolves well, from fresh to earthy. Is it worth it? Yes, if you’re looking for balance between freshness and depth. It’s modern, elegant, and has character. Strengths: versatility, balance, and elegance. Weaknesses: not as potent or long-lasting as others in the line, and not ideal for extreme heat. Rating: 8.5/10. Coral Fantasy is perfect for daily wear in cooler seasons.
The best in the line. It has personality and smells addictive. It’s sweet but masculine thanks to the tobacco. Longevity is acceptable, though it doesn’t project much. It’s cheap and worth it.
A great perfume, on par with its siblings from the BIR line. Its only flaw: longevity. It’s a stick for dates or short outings.
Smells amazing fresh out of the bottle, very sexy and masculine. But once it dries down… why did you take away that masculinity? On my skin, it turns sweet and cloying. It starts rich and masculine, then ends up being the usual. I’m in a mess. If it weren’t for the cloying aspect, it would be perfect, though it also doesn’t last long.
I tried it as a decant at a good price and loved it. Smells fresh, luminous, and sophisticated, with a perfect balance between aromatic and woody. At first, it’s vibrant with apple, cardamom, and bergamot. Then lavender and statice add elegance, while tobacco and patchouli close with warmth. Over time, it reminds me of Stronger With You Intensely, but softer. I love tobacco with aromatics; it’s ideal for everything. Worth it. 8.8/10.
Addictive and unique, nothing like its siblings from Born in Roma. That red apple with tobacco is insane. Sweet but wearable in heat, very masculine and sexy. Since it’s an EDT, the longevity is a bit lacking; in cold weather I use 7 sprays, in heat 4 or 5. One of my favorites and I’ve gotten tons of compliments.
Totally disastrous.
Smells weird at first, but it’s addictive and works for everything. I don’t know what they were thinking with this one, maybe they wanted you to adapt it yourself. It’s sweet, floral, and fruity with a surprising tobacco note. Lasts a while, but you definitely notice it. It’s versatile, not boring, and cheap.
I love it. Definitely one of my favorites. It highlights the tobacco leaves when it dries down; the opening is sweet and addictive. Longevity and projection are moderate, though on clothes it lasts 8 to 10 hours. 9/10.
Although many say it’s a summer scent, in my opinion it’s perfect for spring or autumn. Even though it’s citrusy, it has that dark tobacco touch that makes it ideal for moderate climates. In my opinion, this is the best of Valentino B.I.R.
Very good, distinct from the other warm and masculine fragrances. Works in almost any weather except extreme heat. Acceptable longevity, 6 hours seems fine to me, but the projection is a bit weak. Ideal for dates; the aroma is very charming.
I own the Born in Roma EDT and tried Coral Fantasy in-store; I loved it. It has the DNA of Born in Roma but with a dominant red apple and unisex floral notes, though it sounds more masculine to me. My partner liked it too. It’ll be my next perfume (I’m 70, so I know it’s risky, but it definitely makes my top 10).
Coral Fantasy is fruity, floral, with a spicy touch. It’s similar to the Intense but without that potency; it’s a lighter version that emphasizes lavender, geranium, and apple, while keeping vanilla and spices in the base. That lightness gives it versatility for spring or summer outings if you don’t abuse the heat. It lasted 7 or 8 hours but with a more discrete trail than other scents in the line. I recommend it if you want something lighter than Born in Roma, though if you’re looking for pure performance, the Intense is still better.
Very tasty, but it doesn’t last or project well. I thought it was just my skin, but it doesn’t even stay on my clothes. Such a pity.
Got this as a gift and it completely nailed it. I have three bottles of it—it’s a beast. It’s like the Intense but lighter, super attractive and suggestive for the opposite sex. I love it, 9/10.
They’ve been recommending it for a long time and now it has hype. At first, I didn’t like it, but over time I’ve come to appreciate it, and it’s one of my best and most unique scents. It’s the true blue perfume (even if it’s not blue). It works in any season, moment, formal event, party, or daily wear, depending on the outfit. Absolute aura. The scent is unique, with no direct clones until a few months ago. Almost perfect if not for the moderate longevity, about 6 hours, though if I overapply it, it lasts 8. Overall, fantastic, my favorite, highly recommended.
Excellent. I went for the classic, it wasn’t available, so they offered this one, and I have zero regrets. It smells delicious and lots of people love it.
The best for young people, up to age 33. It’s a masterpiece, don’t look any further. Invictus smells metallic and the other one like ‘Stronger with You’, but this, my friend, Coral Fantasy, smells incredibly rich. You can really taste the red apple and that tobacco. I swear you should buy it; it’s the only one worth it.
Excellent aroma, opening, development, and dry-down. But on my skin, it projects for only 10 minutes and lasts about an and a half hour as a skin scent, almost imperceptible.
I don’t get why this and the Intense have such different notes according to the website. In the store, they smelled almost identical. This one is listed as ‘aromatic and fruity’ but smells like lavender, just like the other, with a vanilla touch. The opening is rich and the evolution is too. It smells great in all phases. The trail and longevity are acceptable, a bit weak. Maybe with lots of hydration, Vaseline, and some extra spritzes I can get more projection. But it smells so good that I don’t mind if it stays on the skin. Edit: a week later, with several re-spritzes, the fruity and aromatic notes are very noticeable, no lavender at all. If you give it a good sniff, you can detect the tobacco. Literally smells like dry tobacco.
Good afternoon. I applied it an hour ago. The first half-hour is pure rich apple, then the florals and fruits even out. My girlfriend said it smells like an older lady; I think it’s unisex. I’m not finding all the hype it has… we’ll see how it evolves.
A bit too sweet; there are plenty of those on the market, and they lean more toward feminine unisex. I’d prefer the Intense a thousand times over; it feels fresher, and while it’s sweet, it’s much more wearable.
I really like it; it’s sweet and fresh, fitting for any occasion. The downside is that it projects nothing and is skin-scent after an hour. In the end, I gifted it to a friend who says the same thing happens to him—what a pity.
Good versatility; you can wear it in cold or warm weather (just avoid extreme heat). Smells like red apple with a fruity, fresh twist. It doesn’t project well at a distance, but it lasts quite a while on the skin. Like the Intense, I recommend it 100% for collection: versatile, fresh, and with personality.
Valentino doesn’t appeal to me at all. Their fragrances feel more geared toward girls and a bit extravagant. I don’t consider them masculine in any way.
Really delicious perfume, but it lacks a bit of presence. It’s super versatile and youthful. I’d buy it again without a doubt.
The Fiestero Flanker: if you’re looking for something super youthful for a night out or a date, this Born in Roma version is a great option. To be direct: it doesn’t carry anything of the original. It’s a modern, fruity flanker. The opening is my favorite: ripe, almost caramelized red apple, supported by cardamom. The bergamot just adds brightness without stealing the apple’s spotlight. As it dries down, geranium and sage bring a lavender-like freshness, with a tobacco note in the base that prevents it from being overly sweet, maintaining a perfect unisex balance. Born in Roma Coral Fantasy is nocturnal, energetic, and sophisticated. My rating: 8.5/10.
No regrets on this purchase; it’s the king of the Born in Roma line. Smells dark, enveloping, and super sexy—perfect for dates. Not quite the right vibe for clubbing, though; if it had more projection, it would be the ultimate party scent.
Very rich.
In terms of aroma, it’s my favorite in the line and almost in my entire collection. I wish there was something similar but with better performance. Great option for young people, easy to wear, and versatile. Recommend trying it.
Thanks to my travel size, I’ve smelled it for years, and it stays like a jewel. It’s totally versatile, easy to like, and you can understand its popularity. For me, it’s the best in the line, surpassing the Intense, which can be cloying. The magic is the combination of red apple and tobacco in the dry down: the apple gives a juicy, sparkling fruity sweetness, while the tobacco anchors it with a warm, masculine note, preventing it from being too youthful or heavy. Even though it’s an EDT, it has good projection and longevity. I’m saying this about the old batch. Scent: 10/10, Longevity: 10/10, Duration: 8-9h, Projection: 10/10, Final Score: 10/10.
Exquisite fragrance and different from the market; it brings compliments. The sillage is huge, lingering several meters behind. Until recently; I bought it in January, and the mix of sweet tobacco and red apple was magical, like a pink coral. I tried it again a month later, and it wasn’t the same: the tobacco felt smoky, like a lit cigar. It’s still good, but I didn’t like that change at all.
Incredible perfume. Lasts about 7 hours, moderate projection, and is super versatile.
I was surprised by the scent: modern, sophisticated, and masculine—everything a man looks for. I think it’s very well balanced. I recommend it 100%.
A rich, masculine, fresh, and simple fragrance that everyone likes. It’s a typical young man’s scent, almost like sporty deodorant, so for what it offers, I think it’s a bit pricey. Lavanda and red apple stand out, giving it a sweet touch. Medium longevity, low projection, but definitely a sillage.
At first, it smells a lot like Mercadona’s Quartz My Soul Him, probably due to the cardamom. Since Mercadona’s version lasts so long, for the price, I’d go with that one.
A friend introduced me to it, and now it’s one of my favorite masculine scents. It smells rich, though not super original; I perceive it as woody and aromatic.
The absolute top of my collection, a spectacular scent. It’s not the most long-lasting or the most flattering, but I fell in love at first sniff and always recommend it.
